Boomerang UFO Observed Flying Low Over Telkwa And Smithers British Columbia (Major Sighting)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Re-posted by Brian.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: The sighting report below is of a Boomerang UFO, but what is more important is that this sighting backs up what three women saw on the same evening. This was a major UFO sighting in which I spent along time investigating. To read the large report on what the three ladies saw, please visit this link.

Also because this was such an amazing sighting, the Canadian Life Network flew a film crew out to document the three ladies stories in a TV documentary. I posted the show on YouTube, so if you care to watch the program, you can catch this by following this link:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBlXZ-VZu_E&feature=youtu.be

The show is called Magnificent Obsessions, and the episode was called UFO Hunter. The film crew was following Chris Rutkowski around visiting people who had UFO sightings here in Canada.

So when you watch the show, which is only 27 minutes in length, you will get to the sightings that were taking place out in this area, Smithers, Telkwa and Houston, B.C.

-----------

Date: February 1, 2002
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Investigators Note: I received this report March, 24, 2002 which may be a confirmation to the February 1, 2002 sighting in which three ladies witnessed a large boomerang shaped object 3 kilometers east of Telkwa.

The witnesses to this sighting was heading east on Highway #16 towards Houston, B.C. their home town. The object passed right over head, going west towards Smithers, B.C.

Telkwa is a 10 minute drive east of Smithers. I started out making enquiries into the February, 1, 2002 sighting, but I must admit I wasn't ready for the amount of sighting reports which kept coming in.

Today, Sunday, March 24, 2002 I received a telephone call from a gentleman who lives in Smithers, British Columbia who had read an article in the Smithers Interior Newspaper about some of the sightings which have taken place from Kitimat, B.C. right through to Prince George.

The paper also carried my contact information so if anyone had seen anything strange and wanted to, they could at least find me to file a report for investigation.

This witness told me he had gone to rent a video from the Smithers Hollywood Video store, and after he came out and got into his car and starting driving down the road, something caught his eye.

He said due to the street lights from the town of Smithers shinning on the bottom of the craft, he could see the object rather well.

He pulled his vehicle over, got out and watched it fly slowly overhead and around the town for approximately five minutes.

He also told me he thought it was descending, and his first thoughts were of a para-glider. This was the best way he could describe what he was observing.

He also said the object had "one" bright white light on it. He mentioned the light would go bright to dim, but said he wasn't sure if this was due to the object turning.

The witness mentioned that para-gliders often flew off Hudson Bay mountain, so I asked him, because of that fact, had there ever been any other sightings of the gliders, he replied "no, not at night".

I asked if he had an idea what the size would have been of the object. He said it was hard to tell, but went on to say it would have been about the size of a para-glider, if you were standing next to it. He also said the height from the ground would have been approximately 1,500 feet.

It slowly made turns over the town of Smithers. I also asked about the weather conditions at the time of his sighting, he said it was overcast, as did the three witnesses for the Telkwa sighting the same night.

The witness said he would have never mentioned the sighting to anyone, as he did not know who or where to report this anyway, until he read the article in the newspaper.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I was talking to some other people and they told me that they knew for a fact that there was more than normal air traffic in and around our area after the sighting on February 1, 2002.

Their source would not elaborate on what was taking place, but again said there were a number of aircraft patrolling the skies our way. I thought this was very interesting as well.

Brian Vike’s Note: A little update on some information I did receive confirming an increase in air traffic in and around this area at the time this major UFO sighting took place. I got news from YVR (Vancouver International Airport) that air traffic was being diverted following this incident. Also I was told that military aircraft did visit the area and had almost caught up to the craft before it disappeared.

When this sighting took place, I was moving from our small towns checking out businesses that would have been open at the time of the sighting. Gas stations were a good target for me to check on. I didn’t get to far as for gathering information, but when the newspaper brought the story out, then things did change in my favor in the form of reports over this sighting. Also as the years rolled on and people found this report, plus the main one I will link to here. Then some (military) were giving me information to verify that something weird flew through the area and was perused by military aircraft.

The Information that came out of YVR was due to a good friend filling me in what the folks at the airport knew.
