Bright Green Object Long In Shape Witnessed From New River Arizona

Date:  December 31, 2011
Time:  Between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Hello I found your information on the Vike sighting regarding the object in the sky on 12/31/11. I along with three others were witness to this object. When we first saw it we thought it was a firework that had been set off to low to the ground.

We realized that it was something else when it kept moving at the same height and was moving very, very fast. It was long in shape and bright green so bright it lit up the skyline. It was moving horizontally about 200 feet in the air moving north.

My daughter saw it who was five miles east and my sister who was 16 miles southwest. It didn’t decelerate nor break from it’s path, it just flew silently and fast and wow so bright. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen.

I have seen UFO's before in the same area, but that was a different experience, this by far was awesome. If it was a meteor, I am puzzled as to why it kept the same path? I am further puzzled how something so big wouldn’t have made ruckus as it hit the earth?

I truly believe that it was a UFO, but regardless of what it was, it was still unidentified at this point ha ha. Please keep me informed.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

  1. I saw this green brite streaking light in the sky on 12/31/11. I live on 7th ave. And Grovers in north Phoenix, AZ. I was in back on my porch that faces to the east. The light I saw was traveling very fast coming from the south heading north. It was a bright green ball of light with a fire like white light surrounding it. As fast as it was going, it looked to me to be falling. As I watched it, it was getting lower to the ground as it traveled north. I watched until I couldn't' see it any longer and didn't see or hear anything like it crashing down so I kinda dismissed it. If it wasn't a comet what was it?

    1. Last night on July the 4th, just as the fireworks we're going on in downtown Ocala, I noticed an orange ball traveling through the sky from the east. I got video of it. Did anyone else see this. I check the lunch schedules and there were no lunches at that time. Could this be a weather balloon?
