There were three orange lights moving quietly from south to north over the northern suburbs of Brisbane at 12:05 a.m. this morning. I was outside calming my pets from the local fireworks and these lights were seen by my husband, myself, and my two daughters and a daughter's partner a bit curious!

My wife & I just saw an orange light (silently) fly in a due East to West direction over our house on the southside of Brisbane (QLD), Australia. It was on steady course, no noise, faster than a chopper but slower than a plane. Altitude would only be 1000feet at most. Size would be (from our point of view) about the size of a search light. Sighting occurred at 10pm - 10:02pm 28th January 2012.
ReplyDeleteIT lit up the clouds above it (it's currently raining here) but it never shifted course & remanned below the clouds for the full 2 mins we saw it.
My husband and I have just seen a bright orange light at the back of our house in Springfield QLD. It was about 7.07pm this evening and my husband called me out the back deck to see a strange light in the sky. It was very bright, orange bigger than star or planet. It was not that high in the sky stayed in position for about 2 minutes moved slightly then disappeared. We were to late getting our phone to video it what a shame as never seen anything like it before.
