Long Bright Blue Green Object Seen Over Albuquerque New Mexico

 

Date:  December 31, 2011

Time:  Around 8:00 p.m.  –  8:30 p.m.

 

We were outside shooting fireworks and saw it shoot across the sky. It was a long, bright blue/green and lasted about 4 seconds.  It traveled too far to be fireworks.

Would love to find out what it was.

Additional Information:

We saw it in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  It was around 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.  I did read about meteors, but wasn’t sure.  It sure was pretty and I’m glad my son and I got to see it.
