Me and my girlfriends family also saw a greenish light that suddenly disappeared in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Just saw a bright green light falling. It was bright green and disappeard as it got closer to the ground. Kind of like a falling star but lasted much longer and was very close and very green. I've seen many falling stars and meteor showers and none looked like this. Spotted on Saturday night Feb. 24 2012 at approx. 9:40 pm in Las Cruces.
