Two Tear Drop Shaped Things Which Mirrored One Another In The Sky Above Saskatoon Saskatchewan

On my way to work, driving east on Circle Drive, my sighting started just as I passed the Preston Ave exit(s). "greater than"

The sky was completely (almost unusually) clear and the sun was already fairly up, so I immediately noticed what looked like two odd looking "clouds" that seemed very close together off in the distance. They are best described as "tear-drop" shaped and they were mirrors of each other, one pointing up and to the left (10 o'clock), the other pointing down and to the left (8 o'clock).

They actually sort of looked like hands on a clock. Again, they appeared "close" to one another, though they seemed fairly far away, miles away, no real other estimate on distance. This all happened so fast I didn't really take stock until it was over.

I didn't pay full attention for the first few seconds as I thought maybe they were just weird looking contrails. However, as I continued towards them, I kept looking at them as much I could without taking my eyes off the road too long at a time. It became obvious to me they were not trails left by aircraft and they were not clouds. As I got closer and closer they looked less and less like clouds or smoke and more like things reflecting light. And I noticed quickly they were hovering there, not moving at all.

Within 20 - 30 seconds after first sighting, I arrived at the right turn exit that takes you around a loop and onto Circle Drive North. As I started into the turn, I noticed that these two "shapes", these two "things", started moving away from each other. One was going up on an angle consistent with the direction it was "pointing", the other was going down on it's own angle.

They were moving away from each other in a vertically angled trajectory - at the exact same speed. Mirrored. Everything they did looked like a mirrored image. It looked like two hands of a clock moving away from each other in a great big "greater than" sign, I don't know any other way to describe it. So weird. It was truly one of those you had to see it to believe it moments.

I tried to keep my eye on these things as long as possible, but of course I was driving at high speed and couldn't just stop and stare, which is really what I wanted to do. By the time I was around and off the exit ramp, hey were south-east of my truck and impossible to watch any longer unless I wanted to keep looking backwards.

I've seen dozens of odd things in the sky over the years, but I could always, at least in my mind, attribute them to something I've seen before whether it be airplanes, helicopters, balloons, clouds, contrails, satellites or whatever.

The whole encounter lasted for maybe a minute, but it was long enough to realize these things were unlike anything I've ever seen before, that's for sure.

I've checked the local news all day to see if anyone else reported seeing them, but nothing so far. I really hope someone else saw them and has an explanation.

Two Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sister and I were driving towards the new Circle Drive bridge heading west when we witnessed two orange lights behaving oddly.

The sighting started just before we went under the Lorne Ave. overpass (missing the exit) and ended just before we drove onto the Valley Road exit heading to the dump.

We guess the location of these lights as being over the Prairieland/Exhibition area. My sister was driving and pointed the two lights out first, but I witnessed the majority of their movements as road conditions were challenging after the big snowfall.

The sky was clear overhead and there were clouds obscuring the North End (the lights appearing north of our position) My sister first thought the lights were two airplanes sharing the sky (like a take-off/landing path) until our movement and theirs made their distance between one another appear much closer than reasonable for aircraft.

I first thought she was pointing out tower lights. These ideas were overruled as we watched them longer. The two orange lights were very close to each other and did not appear to be moving farther away or closer toward us as a plane would, but they both appeared to be moving.

One light seemed to be lower than the other, but both still appeared to be the same size. The lower light moved more noticeably than the other. It moved left and right and then appeared to move back, leftwards and behind or farther away.

It got dimmer and dimmer and then vanished from view. We were just getting onto the Circle Drive South Bridge when the lower light faded out. It did the back and forth movement in a very short amount of time. The second light did not get dimmer, but we lost track of it due to road positioning.

I (in the passenger seat) was leaning very far forward in order to keep it in sight by the time we turned off onto the Valley Road exit. Condensation on the back windows kept me from seeing if it faded out like the first lower light.

The orange glow of these lights were a darker orange than the street lights, but not quite red in colour. My sister and I drove back across the bridge towards that neighborhood but as it was -20C out and late, we only lingered a little before going home.

Gigantic Orange Burning UFO In The Ditch Seen 5 Miles East Of Saskatoon Saskatchewan

 Date:  January 1973
Time:  Evening.

We lived 5 miles east of the city. I had an older friend coming out from the city. She phoned just before she left to let us know she was on the way. It was a 10 minute run from her house. After an hour she came through the door absolutely freaked out. She was too scared to go back home in the dark.

She said about 3 miles east of the city there appeared in the ditch what she described a huge gigantic orange burning type light in the ditch. It lasted for quite awhile, but she was too scared to go past it or turn around and go back with it behind her.

We knew the area well and went back the next morning. No sign of anything in the ditch, no melted snow etc. Just a few square marks where something heavy had sat, but no scuffed snow around it.

This was beside a microwave type transmission tower.

Huge Cigar Shaped UFO Darkened The Sky With It’s Size At Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date:  July or August 1950
Time:  Approx: Mid day.

July or August 1950. I was too young to know the date or pay attention to the date at the time. My brother, myself, and my mother saw this in person. Believe me, it left a mark on my poor little self. Didn’t realize what I had seen until much later.

In the 1950’s the city closed up solid on Wednesday afternoons (not a soul to be seen after 12:00 noon). I know it was summer because on Wednesdays dad stayed home until noon then dropped us off at my mom’s job at 12:00 p.m. and he’d go to work and we’d walk back home with my mother.

That day she had to stay later to finish up some work. It was around 1:00 p.m. when we started home. The downtown was totally deserted. We were walking north up 2nd Avenue on the east side of the street. We were just 2 buildings from 23rd street when suddenly my mother grabbed my brother and myself and in a voice that I never heard before or after said, no matter what happens, do not move, look, or make a noise”.  

She shoved us into this doorway alcove area and stood directly in front of us shaking. The sky that had been a clear bright blue started to turn darker and darker. Mom never said a word, just kept us pressed behind her tight into the alcove and she was frozen watching up above us.

Well being the obedient child I was of course I pulled her skirt aside and peeked out and up. Then I remember grabbing my brother and making him look too. My mom never moved. She didn’t even notice us looking.

When I saw what was up there, I remember shoving my brother back into the corner and nearly standing on top of him to get further back too. There was a huge, huge thing hovering over 2nd Ave., that had completely blocked out all the sunlight.

There was no noise and it covered the whole block lengthwise (like a giant cigar). Suddenly it was gone, but it was up there a long time. Even then I can remember my mom made us wait a long time before she moved. Then she made a hiding game on the way home to see how out of sight we could stay.

I remember that by the time we got home she was hysterical and sent us to our room with orders not to come out. Then she phoned dad at work and made him come home immediately. I had my ear to the door as she told him what had happened.

He came home and started phoning around. He called the police to see if there had been any strange reports, then the airport and finally the air force base located here then. They all said nothing happened.

Then he told my mother to never tell another soul as they would figure he was married to a nut case, his exact words. It was never mentioned again and everyone acted like nothing ever happened.

In 1981 my mother had some health issues and I figured that I’d mention what I saw for verification. I said-mom, do you remember, and then I told her what I saw. She looked at me horrified and said, “you saw that, why didn’t you ever say anything “ ?.

All I could say in return was ‘ you told us not to look or move “ . You have to remember in those days you did what you were told-mostly. Besides which after the carry-on with my dad I knew better than to admit I looked.

Bright Light/UFO Draws Power From The Hydro Lines 30 Miles South Of Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date:  Approx: 14 – 15 Years Ago (Now 2014)
Time:  Evening.

Checking with my son who saw this one (along with a lot of other people including his daughter) approximately 14/15 years ago. Trying to get a better dateline, but he’s on holidays at the moment.

30 miles South of Saskatoon on the highway coming back from Regina, there was a huge bright light hovering over the power lines and substation and appeared to be drawing power from the lines.

It stayed in position for quite awhile - maybe 1/2 an hour-and traffic on the highway kept pulling over to watch. They had a pretty big bunch of people in the end.

When my son finally left, the object was still there, but it was winter and they had got pretty cold standing out there with all the other people.

Triangular Shaped UFO And 300 Lights Spotted Clustered Together Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan (Diagrams)

 

Date:  March 31, 2012

Time:  9:04 p.m.

 

I saw something very similar over Saskatoon last night traveling in the same SW to NE direction.  Lethbridge is located SW of Saskatoon by a few 100kms, therefore this may have been the same vessel.

I was out for a walk and at 9:04 p.m. and I noticed to the north, low in the sky a group of lights.  These lights were bright enough to be visible to me with the streetlights shining in my face, but dim enough to not catch a person’s eye unless they were specifically looking in that direction. 

At first I thought, “hmm interesting the Pleiades”, but then realized the Pleiades are not in the northern sky.

I then noticed the lights were moving to the east, but they were not in a row like the Lethbridge sighting, but were about 8-10 clustered together, but in an elongated pattern up and down, and then I noticed 3 more lights near the back moving at the same speed. 

The lights were moving slowly and then they took a turn toward the NE and that’s when I noticed a silhouette of a triangle shaped vessel in between the cluster of lights and the two lights in the back.  I saw no lights on the vessel itself.

I crossed the street to get a better look as the lights were moving toward the NE direction and then the lights became spheres and increased in number such that there were about 300 of them all moving together like a swarm of bugs or birds. 

But they were glowing so they could not have been mistaken for birds, otherwise I would have seen a silhouette of them against the sky instead of light coming from them on the opposite side of the sunset.

There were a few clouds in the sky at the time in the distance, but it was mostly a clear sky.  There were several stars visible.

The spheres slowly moved off into the NE direction.  At that time I was not able to see any vessel, only hundreds of small spheres, going further and further away until they were too far away to be seen anymore.

I live in the East part of the city so the vessel was first noticed, at my best guesstimate, above the outskirts of the city near the edge of the Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.  I would estimate it, judging by the distance from the ground and the speed it was going, to be a bit longer than an average passenger plane, and definitely just as wide as long.  

It would have been perhaps a few kms above the ground.  It was traveling slower than a passenger plane that comes in for a landing.  My first thought that it was some stealthy military plane, but when I saw the 100’s of spheres, I knew it was not.

No sounds were heard at all.  It was silent.  There were no other witnesses around me at the time.

Many UFO Sightings Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

 

Date:  Canada Day, 2009

Time:  After dark.

 

I've seen it all. l have lived in Stoon my whole life. Right now I'm located in a industrial area. I've seen ''stars'' shoot out smaller ''stars'', cylindrical UFOs, balloon UFOs, string of balloon UFOs, lights falling from the sky, multicolor lights, fake stars fading when you catch them (these ones like to play with you.) clouds behaving like UFOs and many, many more.

 

My first sighting was Canada day 2009. We were at Broadway bridge before the fireworks started, finding a view to see them. Started toward University Bridge and saw the reddish-orange triangular formation lights following behind quite low.

 

That's what did it for me. Now I not only see them daily and nightly, they like to play with me. I'm waiting for actual contact. I'm thinking they don't think I'm ready just yet. Deep Red Glowing Object Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date: September 26, 2011

Time: Approx: 9:25 p.m.

I saw a deep red glow with what appeared to be something dragging behind it over Saskatoon at about 9:25 pm CST on September 26, 2011. It was over the northern part of the City heading east. The closest thing I have seen to this glow was when the space shuttle went over Canada and I was in Calgary getting the pleasure of seeing it.

I know the take-off and landing path of the planes and this was directly against it. When I heard it could be a lantern, it is plausible, but the speed it travelled and the height it was at make this seem unlikely.

The best way to describe the object being dragged would be a parachute as I couldn’t see it when it was more above me and could make out the dragged object much better as it was further east. It had no blinking lights to bright red, green or white lights.

I am hoping someone else has seen this as I forgot my phone inside when I went out, so we can change this from a UFO to IFO (Identified Flying Object).

Unknown Object Witnessed At Saskatoon Saskatchewan

In January 2011, I was driving on the freeway in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and I noticed what I thought was a plane in the evening sky, but it couldn't have been a plane because it just hovered there. There were lights on it, and it was not a plane or a helicopter. I pulled over to check it out and it turned west and disappeared out of sight.

Shortly after that I did notice 2 helicopters and the Saskatoon police plane flying around. Did they see it too? It was by the windmills on the way to forestry farm. Very weird. Too bad I didn't have a camera at the time.

Slow Moving Object With Multi Colors Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

I saw this as well on the night of the 24th and 25th. I thought it was a satellite at first, because it was slowing moving across the sky horizontally. It was very rapidly flashing very bright colors. Colors I notably saw were blue, yellow, pink, purple. Going to keep my eyes on the sky all next week and will send more messages if I see anything else.

Multicolored Object Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Time: Evening.

Hey my name is (name removed), I am 26 years old and living in Saskatoon in the Broadway area. On the night of the 24th of March, 2011 my dad called me and told me to go outside and look into the sky in the south, I immediately saw the flickering light of color twinkling very brightly in the sky.

I also noticed above and to the right of it a bit, there was another one, but smaller and appeared to be further away.

I also noticed the colors and thought they were very beautiful, they almost shone like an LED light would. On top of the colors a witness mentioned, I also noticed blue and purple. I ran inside and immediately posted this post on my Facebook.

Everyone go look in the southern sky right now there’s a UFO. Its twinkling like a star, but its bigger and it shines pink and blue and green and red and purple!

Strange Flashing/Flickering Object Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I looked out my bedroom window tonight and noticed a strange flashing/flickering star like object. At first I thought it might be a star, but as I continued to watch, it appeared to kind of dance back and forth while at the same time flashing red, blue and yellow lights, and it seemed to be hovering in roughly the same location for at least ten minutes.

I attempted to film the object, but in all the excitement and darkness I was unable to get a recording, however. I did see the object through the camera's zoom and it was definitely not an airplane or a star. I watched the object for around fifteen minutes before it finally disappeared beyond the tree line to the southwest. I was just really curious to see if any one else in the Saskatoon area had noticed this. The object appeared to be hovering southwest of ! the city. Thank you.

UFO Changes Colors Over The Eastside Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Hi, my cousin witnessed a similar account just yesterday morning January 6, 2011 over Saskatoon's Eastside by the Exhibition Grounds around 8:45am with a co-worker. Similar type of linear object that flew like no aircraft could while changing from red, to white to green while the sun had not yet risen and we had a cloudy forecast.

It dropped from the clouds and hovered above the river while moving sporadically in the sky. They exited their vehicle and began walking towards where it was moving when it began to change its colors then flew off towards the South. Not sure if anyone else experienced this sighting and may have scared a few people while they began running towards it yelling UFO once they realized it was not of this world.

Rectangular Object Seen Over Forest Grove Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: There was a plane also flying up from the south with a long tail of contrail behind it. There was a shape like a line, but a small one just a tick, long enough to look linear and not circular or orb like a star or something.

This was more a rectangular I guess. Sun had not fully risen, so at first I thought it was just a star. After watching it for a while I decided it was odd and probably some type of UFO.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I were sitting on our porch facing east to stargaze. We then noticed a bright light in the sky. We saw that it was a huge flying object. It was flying at a steady pace and at a low altitude. All of a sudden, it gained super fast speeds and shot out to space and was out of our sight just like that. Just before it disappeared out of our sight it appeared orange in color.

Native Indian Medicine Wheel Objects Filmed North Of Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date: Weekend of the 7th and 8th, 2010

Good evening Brian, Here we go again, another strange object in the sky just north of Saskatoon.

Just a few miles north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan we have a native Indian heritage park. In that park the University of Saskatchewan is managing an intensive archaeological dig with some sites uncovered in the park dating back thousands of years, making them older than the Pyramids of Egypt.

One of the features of the site is a native Indian medicine wheel that I have become fascinated with. I have attached a photo of it, but as you see from a distance the rocks outlining the wheel are barely visible. You have to be right in the circle to see the tops of the rocks now 3/4 buried in the soil. The intriguing thing about this medicine wheel is that the grass, although it still grows some, it does not ever mature to the height of the surrounding grass.

It kind of reminds me of some crop formations here is Saskatchewan that I have studied during my years as a field investigator. It lends one to think something must of happened on that spot to retard the growth of the grasses and maybe that is why it is still a sacred place for our native population.

Anyways, with all that we have been seeing in the skies around here in the past years and also hearing from other researchers of how sacred sites seem to be very active when it comes to aerial phenomena I developed a strong sense of need to go to the site. Last weekend we decided to go and just do a little investigating and maybe keep one eye to the skies. After a pretty lengthy hot trek we managed to find the circle.

Everything was pretty uneventful as you really can't do much there as it is kept protected, so we just sat down and watched the skies. Of course we never saw anything. I have learned in the past that taking just random shots without really having any subject in the photo has produced results for others. Well, that's what I did, I just pointed the digital camera straight up into the skies above the circle and began taking random shots, 15 to be exact. That soon became just a bit boring as neither my wife or I were seeing anything.

I almost didn't bother taking a look at the photos on the computer, but I am glad I did. Carefully studying each one I couldn't see anything but blue sky but then the fourth photo showed this or these objects, it almost looks like two separate objects. The remainder of the 15 photos were just blue sky. These two attachments of the object(s) consist of the first one being the original and the second one I enlarged and enhanced it a bit to try to bring out the shape.

There was definitely something up there for a brief period. What? I don't have a clue. It would be very interesting to know if any other visitors to that site have noticed anything in the skies either around it or within it.

Witnesses Watch Unknown Lights Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Hi, my name is (name removed) I'm from Saskatoon last night I was leaving work and me and my boss both saw some strange lights in the sky. They were diagonal from each other and they got really bright, then followed each other. They then vanished, it was at 3:00am July 11th, 2010.

Saskatoon Saskatchewan Object Filmed (Photos)

Good evening Brian, hope everything is well with you. I just thought I would send you the following report with photos of what took place in Saskatoon this past weekend.

On Saturday June 19th we were just enjoying a beautiful day on the deck and glad the rain we were having for so long had stopped.

After glancing in the sky to the northeast I saw what appeared to be a bright orange sphere shaped object. After grabbing the binoculars I noticed that it was actually two spheres but one was much dimmer than the other.

I ran to get my high resolution video camera, but the time I got it all set up it had disappeared.

Disappointed I sat down and left the camera set up just in case and sure enough, maybe 2 minutes later I noticed this black object at the same location. Through the binoculars it was easy to tell that it almost seemed like a group of spheres with the overall shape constantly changing. Please see the photos I have included.

The first one is the object as it looked without using the telephoto lens. The next 3 are with the telephoto on. The last one is when it disappeared behind a tree before disappearing for good.

Most spheres we see are bright white and sometimes grouped, but this is the first time black or dark grey have appeared.

Very interesting indeed. I do have the video but now I just have to learn how to download it onto the internet.

When I ever figure that out I will send you the video also. Thanks for the opportunity to report this.
