Fraser Canyon Yale Tunnel British Columbia (Pictures)

Above Photo: The Yale Tunnel, 286 metres long, just 1.5 km east of Yale.

The Fraser Canyon is an 84 km landform of the Fraser River where it descends rapidly through narrow rock gorges in the Coast Mountains en route from the Interior Plateau of British Columbia to the Fraser Valley.

Colloquially, the term "Fraser Canyon" is often used to include the Thompson Canyon from Lytton to Ashcroft, since they form the same highway route which most people are familiar with, although it is actually reckoned to begin above Williams Lake, British Columbia at Soda Creek Canyon near the town of the same name.

1890 Telegraph Cabin Quick British Columbia (Photos)

Above Photo: 1890 Telegraph Cabin Quick British Columbia information sign.

Here is building I have driven by for years, but never stopped to check it out, until now.

The 1890 Telegraph Cabin in Quick, B.C. is located yards off Highway 16 to the west. You can park your vehicle to the side of the gravel road and walk into the area where the cabin sits.

The area was fenced off, but there is an opening so folks can get up close to take pictures, and place their hands onto some of British Columbia’s history.

I have a number of photos posted on my Travel Blog, and you can find them here at this link.

Timber Kings Huge Log Home Filmed On Hudson Bay Mountain Estates Smithers B. C. (Photos)

Above Photo: This is the log home that is being built by the folks on the
hit TV show ,the Timber Kings.

My wife, dog and I went for a drive on Sunday, September 27, 2015 to Smithers, British Columbia so I could film some of the beautiful scenery around the area, and there
is plenty of amazing places to visit.

One of the areas we explored was at the top of the Hudson Bay Mountain Ski hill. It was raining with a low cloud ceiling, so I was not able to take a lot of photos at the top, but we did find some cabins, and other buildings to film.

I have posted a bunch of pictures from the Hudson Bay Mountain in
Smithers B. C. Please visit the following link.

Irrigation Lake/Scenery And Old Building Filmed Around Houston British Columbia (Photos/Video)

Above Photo: The Bulkley River in Houston, British Columbia. Actually I took a picture from this very same spot in Summer. Here is a link to this. I also will post a winter photo from the same location as well.

My wife and I decided to get out of the home for a while and I thought I would take some new photos of the Fall colours that are present in our small town of Houston, British Columbia.

So we drove around Houston, and I snapped some photos of what we saw.

We also headed out a short distance from Houston to a small lake, where in summer people flock to Irrigation Lake to go swimming, sunbathing, fishing, hiking and they take along a picnic basket for their lunch. You can also cook some hot-dogs and hamburgers over fire pits. There is a sandy beach for the little ones to make sandcastles, or just to dig a big hole to get lost in. There are toilets/outhouses on site, and change rooms.

Burns Lake British Columbia (Photos)

Above Photo: The Burns Lake tourist Information Centre and Museum.

The Visitor Information Centre looked great, it was tidy and spotless. The grounds were beautiful, lawns cut and scattered around the property were pieces of old farming equipment, a rock crusher and old, old wagon.

Also beautiful flowers were seen around the property, and throughout the town. Inside the centre you were met by warm and friendly staff, who wanted to share what Burns Lake has to offer.

The residents of Burns Lake are certainly proud of their home town, as it shows.

The Red Wolf Inn

Every year we celebrate Canada’s Birthday on July 1, in Houston, British Columbia. This year (2015) it was Canada’s 148th Birthday and I went to the Jamie Baxter Park where I could watch, and film the celebrations.

I wandered around chatting with folks who were attending, and taking pictures of each of the events.

I came across some folks who who were having a lot of fun, and battling it out in full dress from the Medieval period. One fellow by the name of Troy Reitsma looked awesome and was having sword fights on the lawn with the kids and adults. It was so much fun to watch.

Above Photo: Troy Reitsma dressed to the hilt in medieval period outfits having sword fights on the lawn with the little girls, mom, they battle it out. This was on Canada’s 148th Birthday Jamie Baxter Park.

What I did not know was, there is a place between Houston and Smithers British Columbia called The Red Wolf Inn. The proprietors of the Inn are his Lordship Wlfryd of Leedes and her Ladyship Rhiannon of Shrewsbury.

Above Photo: Proprietors of the Inn are his Lordship Wlfryd of Leedes and her Ladyship Rhiannon of Shrewsbury.

If you want to travel back in time, into the medieval period where there are Kings and Princesses, then I highly recommend you paying a visit to the Red Wolf Inn. If you are wanting to spend some time at the Inn, you should make reservations for your stay. You can email Wlfryd and Rhiannon at reservations@redwolfinn.ca

To make reservations by way of phone. Call toll free to speak to Wlfryd and Rhiannon at:
1-888-WOLF INN - 1-888-9653 466

The Red Wolf Inn's website is at: http://www.redwolfinn.ca/Site/Welcome.html

The Red Wolf Inn has been in operation for sixteen years. It was established upon the Fields of Gold Educational Centre, a medieval village, representing time periods from the Celtic of 450CE to a 1550CE Venetian Palazzo.

Above Photo: A few other past Patrons to the Red Wolf Inn.

The Inn is built to resemble a Tudor style building. It accommodates up to 22 patrons with room and board, as a Bed and Breakfast.

This is a Medieval Inn - there is no electricity, toilets are pit toilets located up or down High Street from the Inn, heat is provided from the wood cook stove or the heater in the Saracen Room.

The Red Wolf Inn is located at Km 385 on Highway 16 West, midway between Houston and Smithers, BC, Canada.

Eyewitnesses Say They Filmed A UFO Between Cookstown And Barrie Ontario (Photos)

From Brian Vike’s UFO Files.

Date: November 10, 2007
Time: Approximately: 5:00 a.m.

Witnesses: 2

UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: Permission was granted to leave the names in the report, and on the photos.

Hello Brian, we approve you to publish this information in your website.

The place of event : Highway 89 between Cookstown and Barrie, Ontario.

The photo taken by Nokia phone Camera

Names: Ali Karami and Payam Kash

We do a lot of research on stars and planets. We were coming back from Barrie and we wanted to relax and view the clear sky with many stars that can’t be found in the City.

I fell sleep and my friend Ali woke me up telling me she saw a bright object in the sky, and that it might be a UFO.

The bright object was in green color, with blue flames coming out of it from above and under.

It would change its color and was very quiet and fast. It could move in any direction.

It would drop itself and stop close to earth, then would move in vertical direction and then horizontal.

The object was there for two hours, I believe hovering over lake.

We were able to take couple of pictures and as we took the first picture, the object started moving down and after the second picture our camera, phone and video camera would not function.

I think the object noticed our presence. It went crazy and start moving fast in all directions and continued on its research and disappeared.

The interesting part, the photos got downloaded to the phone after 9 hours. This can be the result of interruption in the frequency. They can effect and dismantle our radios, any electronic equipment and no radar can catch them.

This was a fascinating night of our lives and we never saw anything like this before. Regards.

Thank you to the witness for sending in their report and photos. Pictures are copyrighted 2007 to the owner.

Triangular Shaped Object Seen Flying Over Kaufman County Texas (Photos)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files. This report has never been posted on the Vike Factor before)

Date: March 24, 2004
Time: Between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, It was between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. when I saw this blinking light moving from the northeast to the southwest on 03-24-2004.

I started not to even tape it because of the blinking lights, thought it was most likely a jet.

I was watching it and I realized it was moving two or three times faster than jets I've been observing so I locked on it.

As I was taping it, it was flat zipping past stars at an incredible speed, several hundred miles an hour I would imagine.

As I zoomed in on it, guess what? It was another triangle shaped object! It was about 11 o'clock high in the sky coming across in front of me.

I had a lot of clear sky to tape it in. I didn't hear one peep of a sound coming from it as it passed. There were lots of jets in the sky mostly going and coming from Dallas.

There was a jet coming from Dallas heading east on the regular flight path and I noticed what looked like another jet a fairly good ways behind it on the same route.

I noticed it wasn't blinking at all, so I locked on it. It was a glowing ball of light like I've sent you before, blue color.

Here are some grabs for your inspection of the triangle.

Thank you to the witness for sending in the report and photos.

Pictures Are © Lawwalk 2005

If anyone has witnessed the lights/objects, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.
