Translucent Boomerang Shaped Craft/UFO Spotted In The Sky Over Bendigo Victoria Australia (Graphics)

Date:  May 5, 2015
Time:  9:20 p.m.

Witnessed by: Two only – Peter. and Marg.
Location: (residential suburb of) Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. Outside in the open yard of our home.

Description of object: Translucent boomerang shaped object.
Direction: The object followed a constant direction of approximately NW to NNW at a constant slow speed.

Weather conditions: Calm, windless, still, cloudless, no moon at that time, stars were bright against clear dark sky.

Temperature: Approximately 10°C to 15°C
Length of Sighting: Marg approximately 10 seconds, Peter approximately 15 seconds.


Sighting as reported by Peter:

It was a beautiful clear cool evening and Marg and I were outside in the yard talking. As we were chatting, I was looking up at the sky and happened to look directly at something moving over head. I said, "look at that!" To our amazement we saw some type of aircraft gliding silently overhead.

It was not far off being directly overhead and at low altitude. If I hold my arm fully stretched towards the sky with my first and fourth fingers pointed and spread as far apart as I can, that is how much sky the wing span of the craft covered from my perspective.

It was a brief sighting (10 to 15 seconds) with the craft disappearing behind trees that obscured our view. From our home (south eastern Bendigo) it headed towards the northern area of Bendigo.

I was able to see it for longer than Marg, about 15 seconds as I was able to move to where I could see it between the trees, that by then, were obscuring Marg's view.

The object was translucent. Stars could be seen through it yet it had visible form. It was not unlike seeing a translucent jelly fish in shallow sea water. Although the leading edge was  distinct, the trailing edge (or rear) was indistinct as though it was blurry. The shape was like a boomerang.

At the time it reminded me vaguely of the wings of a typical jet passenger aircraft, (Boeing or Airbus) but without the fuselage or tail section, yet our impression was that it looked whole and complete. The shape was very like, what I now as, the B2 Stealth Bomber.

It was a very quiet, calm evening outside our home that night and there was absolutely no sound that we could make out coming from the object as it went over, unlike that of any jet or propeller craft or helicopter, all of which we often hear and see in our location.

Although translucent, the object appeared dark, not lit by any kind of glow or lights. Upon reflection, I would estimate its altitude to be approximately 150 meters and had a wing span of approximately 50 meters.

I have found these figures difficult to estimate, but put together the above estimate based on such as elapsed time, apparent speed, apparent distances and approximated angles from when it passed over.

We were left feeling in awe, having been so privileged and fortunate to have seen something so unusual, serene and graceful. Neither of us felt any fear.

Before we got to discuss what we saw in any detail, I suggested we both pencil draw what we saw. They looked much the same other than our different methods of sketching. I have misplaced those drawings, but I'm sure that we can find them if ever required.

The next day, I felt compelled to tell someone about our amazing experience. I was unsure about who to tell and what to say. Considering that I run a small business and Marg is a registered nurse working at both local hospitals, the last thing we wanted was to be known as the local fruit cakes for having gone public with our story.

So at first, I gave an anonymous report to a local radio station, their story went to air. I guess I was expecting others to come forward too with their account of the seeing the same object, but I heard nothing.

As days turned into weeks, I felt a type of anxiety building up inside me, I think now because to me there was something unresolved about this. I made some inquiries about who I could or should contact. I tried phoning a military reporting number, was not taken seriously. I tried a UFO hot line number and got some jerk who was kidding me along and stringing out my call (as I out found out later) to make money by timed/tolled incoming phone calls from people wanting to chat or ones such as myself making UFO reports.

I was then feeling very angry! At a later time, I found a phone number of a UFO investigation organization, rang it, got a message service, left some brief information about my sighting and my contact details. They didn't ever return my call.

Several years later (in 2005) I happened to see a UFO magazine in a news agency, flicked through it and saw an article written by a UFO investigator by the name of George Simpson. There was a phone number for contacting George. I rang it, got a message service, but this time I left a surly voice message saying something like, "this is the last time I'm going to bother reporting our sighting!"

To my amazement, I got a return call from George! He was very interested in our story and arranged to do a trip to Bendigo soon after, to do a video interview with Marg and I. After having George Simpson follow up on my report, the sense of anxiety and anger left me and has not bothered me since.

So, to this day, it still remains a mystery as to what we saw. Was it man made? Was it from some another intelligent race? Or could there be a different  reason behind its origin?

We have no idea! Although 18 years have now passed, we still talk about the experience from time to time.

Silver Disc Shaped UFO At Vanderhoof And Multiple UFOs Over Victoria British Columbia

Time:  9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was putting an attachment on the back of the tractor and while doing so, a beaver float plane came flying over.

I stopped to look at the plane because I not use to seeing float planes in this area, and being quite low. Just as it got across from me, a round disc appeared just above the plane.

The plane kept flying, the round disc just sat there in the sky, not moving, and there was no sound of any kind. The beaver air craft had left the area, and I stood there for several minutes staring at it.

I figured it to be about 1,000 feet in altitude, no more. I decided I would slowly walk back to the house and get the camera, as I was sure it was watching me. I would have been about 150 meters from the house, I kept looking back up to see if it was still there, and it was.

Finally I got to my home, I went in and got the camera out, and went back out and the dam thing was gone. I looked everywhere around, and nothing.

Another time I had just gotten out of the Navy, and I had my girl friend with me and we were at the Tilicome Drive in Theater watching an outdoor movie at around 11:00 p.m., this was in the summer of 1961 or maybe 1962.

While we were watching the show, two objects were just to the top left of the outdoor screen. These two orange glowing objects looked to be in the outer atmosphere, and were side by side as we watched the show.

I could see the two objects getting bigger, and brighter as they seemed to be coming down over the city of Victoria, British Columbia.

This took probably 30 to 40 minutes and these two objects got much bigger, where we could no longer see the picture on the screen.

All we had was the sound coming inside. I remember seeing the street lights around town going out because of the brightness which seemed like all of Victoria was lit up.

By this time I and many, many others that were at the outdoor theater were out of there cars watching the two objects. Soon the bright objects started very slowly raising back up, and as they rose, it got darker.

After approximately 20 to 30 minutes, the street lights came back on and I could see the show again. I kept watching with the other people that were out of their cars, as the objects went back up to the same place, where they first appeared.

They sat there again for maybe another ten minutes, when one of the objects left the others, going across the in a zig zag movement, or back and forth motion. There were no clouds of any kind that night.

I remember watching it go behind us, all which took at least 5 full minutes. I remember my girl friend at the time, wouldn't even get out of the vehicle.

I got back in to watch the show again, and I still could see the remaining object still quite bright (bit smaller than the moon, but brighter) watching the show and this thing at same time maybe within ten full minutes the remaining objects left in a straight line in the opposite direction, as the first I remember it leaving in a blink of an eye.

All you could see was a small streak in the direction it went and I'm sure there had to be 50 to 60 people that were out of their vehicles at that time, because there was no show to watch, but that one.

Funny thing to, I watched the newspapers and listened to the radio for many days and nothing was ever said about that incident, that I could ever find.

I have had other sightings, but nothing like the two sightings that were that close and for that length of time.

43 Witnesses To Can Shaped UFO And Sighting Of A Creature In 1989 In Fujian Province China

Note: I have been gong through a bunch of older sighting reports I received in the past, these reports were posted on my old HBCC UFO Research website, but when I removed the site from the internet, something major went wrong and a ton of reports got lost.

These reports are either buried around the internet, etc., and a lot of them are not on my blogs from what I can see, so I am going to re-post these reports, just the ones I thought people would enjoy. I will make sure to mark these ones (Older Report) so you don’t think they are new ones.

Full Description of event/sighting: In the very beginning I thought it was a satellite because of it's dark color and can-shaped out-look.

However, when it flew closer and closer and we did not hear any unusual sound from it, actually not even a sound. It was close enough to observe it completely, and I was the first one who saw it.

Then I asked others to figure it out, including my coach, but no one had ever seen it before.

The object was flying from the north to south in a speed of nearly 50 kilometers per hour, and in the attitude of 500-600 meters, and also I would like to share some of experiences that the people have around me.

On the night of 1989, I was 6 year-old and on that night I was sleeping with my grandma. The mystery occurred on that night was that my grandma actually saw a creature, human-like 3 meters in height standing by the bed, my grandma was very afraid of that creature and didn't dare to switch on the light (the switch was really close enough to reach, well convenient for elder).

On a night of 1996, my cousin went out of his bedroom to use the bathroom, he stood on a step in the back yard, when he was doing his business, he realized a 1.8 meters creature with a tail was standing before him, well that lasted 3 seconds and then he ran back into his bedroom in haste.

In my culture, people are not allowed to point finger to the moon. When I was a child, my grandma told me if I pointed a finger at moon, my ear would be cut.

Nevertheless, I didn't take it for fact, and I did get a ridiculous wound at my left ear.

Then finally, I do really think that UFO has something to do with earthquakes. I know that.

I just thought you'd be interested in seeing this picture. I take photos of planes spraying, always hoping to catch other things.

I did not see this when taking the photo and it's the only thing out of a whole roll that had anything 'else' in it.

P.S. - I sure hope this is the right picture, should be a black chevron shaped thing in it.

I've been having a hell of a time trying to get this to you. My PC went down and now it doesn't work the same as before for pictures. It's amazing the life out there.

Two Disc Shaped UFOs Caught On Film Over Downtown Ely Nevada (Pictures)

Full Description of event/sighting: I did not see anything unusual when I was walking around Ely filming old buildings. I began to download from my camcorder last week.

While I was looking for pictures to save, I thought that I saw something over the house, so I saved a still photo and wrote "look for UFO" as the title.

A few days later, I got the tape back out and captured still photos from it. There are 6 in sequence and then the camera malfunctions and filming abruptly begins again at a different location.

 I kind of think the frequency from my camera was intercepted and jammed. I normally get a photo shot that I like before moving on, but the house is crooked and there is junk off to the right that I wouldn't have wanted. I would like to save as a short, very short video (all 6 photos are from the same second in time) but I haven't learned how to do that yet.

I saved them to "pictures" and then watch as a slide show. Then, they move in very slow motion from left to right, but in real time on the camcorder, they whiz by almost too fast to even see.

A few years ago, while my husband and I were trying to search out an elusive whirring noise, one just like these stopped above us. I could see the small trees around us reflected in it. When it was gone, my husband said (like a zombie) "it was just an airplane".

Didn't look at all like an airplane. It was very shiny like stainless steel, and from approximately 30 feet directly under it, perfectly round.

It looked small. It reminded me of large convex mirrors about 3 feet across that they use at the end of "Hidden Drives" in New England.

A couple of weeks later, two Asian tourist men were being looked for in the same place. Their rental car was left with their wallets in it.

I don't know what ever happened with that story. We traveled around quite a bit with my husband's job (exploratory drilling for gold) and I think that we left there soon after.

That was Hawthorne, Nevada. Our Dog used to go hide every time we pointed to the sky. Well, anyway that's all for now. Sincerely.

Two Tear Drop Shaped Things Which Mirrored One Another In The Sky Above Saskatoon Saskatchewan

On my way to work, driving east on Circle Drive, my sighting started just as I passed the Preston Ave exit(s). "greater than"

The sky was completely (almost unusually) clear and the sun was already fairly up, so I immediately noticed what looked like two odd looking "clouds" that seemed very close together off in the distance. They are best described as "tear-drop" shaped and they were mirrors of each other, one pointing up and to the left (10 o'clock), the other pointing down and to the left (8 o'clock).

They actually sort of looked like hands on a clock. Again, they appeared "close" to one another, though they seemed fairly far away, miles away, no real other estimate on distance. This all happened so fast I didn't really take stock until it was over.

I didn't pay full attention for the first few seconds as I thought maybe they were just weird looking contrails. However, as I continued towards them, I kept looking at them as much I could without taking my eyes off the road too long at a time. It became obvious to me they were not trails left by aircraft and they were not clouds. As I got closer and closer they looked less and less like clouds or smoke and more like things reflecting light. And I noticed quickly they were hovering there, not moving at all.

Within 20 - 30 seconds after first sighting, I arrived at the right turn exit that takes you around a loop and onto Circle Drive North. As I started into the turn, I noticed that these two "shapes", these two "things", started moving away from each other. One was going up on an angle consistent with the direction it was "pointing", the other was going down on it's own angle.

They were moving away from each other in a vertically angled trajectory - at the exact same speed. Mirrored. Everything they did looked like a mirrored image. It looked like two hands of a clock moving away from each other in a great big "greater than" sign, I don't know any other way to describe it. So weird. It was truly one of those you had to see it to believe it moments.

I tried to keep my eye on these things as long as possible, but of course I was driving at high speed and couldn't just stop and stare, which is really what I wanted to do. By the time I was around and off the exit ramp, hey were south-east of my truck and impossible to watch any longer unless I wanted to keep looking backwards.

I've seen dozens of odd things in the sky over the years, but I could always, at least in my mind, attribute them to something I've seen before whether it be airplanes, helicopters, balloons, clouds, contrails, satellites or whatever.

The whole encounter lasted for maybe a minute, but it was long enough to realize these things were unlike anything I've ever seen before, that's for sure.

I've checked the local news all day to see if anyone else reported seeing them, but nothing so far. I really hope someone else saw them and has an explanation.

Massive V Shaped Craft/UFO Tried To Hide Against The Night Sky Over Los Angeles California

Date:  February 15, 2015
Time:  Evening.

Just wanted to tell you that I saw this craft float through the air over Los Angeles, California the other night. It had a V shape that was transparent, but I could see more to it than that. In fact, I could see it had some sort of invisibility or cloaking that was covering its main body, because it went over a dim star and it slightly warped the stars' light.

It was the shape of a Doritos and the V was just the nose of it. I could also see the invisibility was trying to match the night sky, but because it was moving I could see the it. It was like the predator in the movies.

It was completely silent and my jaw dropped. I just wanted to scream to everyone to look, but I was afraid if I looked away, I would not be able to see in again. That's how good the invisibility was, 98% invisible.

My initial reaction is that it is not man made. It was too "out of this world". It didn't fly like a plane either, but like a levitating mass. It was also very massive. I don't know who else might of seen this that night, but I feel I saw a unicorn.

Probably the most incredible and awe inspiring things I have ever seen. My brother , sister, mom and cousin sound doubtful of my story, but I am 100% sure of what I saw, 100 percent! Since then, me and my girlfriend been outside on law chairs hoping. Thanks to your website, I know I'm not alone.

V Shaped UFO Flew Over Fort Walton Beach Florida

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were on our patio with our night vision looking at all the stars we could not see with our naked eye.

My husband told me to look in a certain area and when I did, I saw what he saw.

It had no blinking lights, it was not a plane.

I handed him back the night vision and he couldn't find it again and neither could I.

I came in and Googled V shaped UFO and found pictures of what we had seen.

My husband and I do not drink or do drugs and we know what we saw, we both saw it, then it was gone.

Oval/Bullet Shaped UFO Spotted In The Sky Over Jackson Georgia

I saw this exact same UFO in 1996 in Jackson Georgia, it was a very secluded area in the woods.

It is extremely fast and capable of making fast curve motions.

It is oval (bullet) shaped and it was about the size of a car.

It passed by our car going in the opposite direction, and flew past the top of our car. I was about 14 with my mom driving.

Two Cigar Shaped UFO Spotted In The Sky From Glebe Ottawa Ontario (Diagram)

Shape of objects: Orange cigar.

Full Description of event/sighting: It happened in the Glebe in Ottawa. I went outside on the back deck, looked up and saw 2 cigar shaped objects.

One was flying over the house the other was 20 miles away. Within seconds one slid up beside the other. I was in shock a bit.

I asked my roommate if she saw that, she said yes and that one had gone over the house seconds before I came out. I had the feeling inside like there was life inside the craft.

It made no sound traveled at a smooth speed. I ran to the front of the house and they were gone.

It almost felt like they were supposed to be there, almost like I was looking through a time warp for a second, looking at something that was there but I wasn't supposed to see it.

Hard to explain, it was witnessed by 2 people. It made no noise like my eye and my brain weren't working. It was like watching a bus float across the sky. I have no doubt they are real, what ever they are.

Red Crescent Shaped Burning Fire Object Seen In The Sky In Texas

Time:  9:47 p.m.

Hello, I happened upon your blog. I saw a red crescent shaped object in the sky not far from my home. It was like red burning fire.

I thought it was the moon rising, but I enjoy astronomy as a hobby and know a bit about moon phases. I realized that wasn't the moon, but it disappeared after a few minutes.

I've never seen anything like that in the sky. Have you uncovered any information as to what it is? Thanks again.

Red V Shaped UFO Shot Straight Up And Gone Over Washington State

Date:  1967
Time:  Evening.

When I was 16, in 1967, I worked on the State Ferry System and lived with my sister just the other side of the street from Fort Laughton to the South.

I happened to notice a red V shape such as you describe one day, and called others out to look.

It seemed to just be floating, but suddenly, and at such a speed not understood by me or others, shot up and it was gone.

It may have been a few minutes of hovering, but it is something I will never forget.

I still wonder about what it, or they were.

A search a while back tells me that many people saw these lights too.

Boomerang Shaped UFO/Alien Craft In The Sky Seen From San Diego California

Date:  December 19, 2014
Time:  5:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Hi, I saw a boomerang shaped object in the sky while I was driving home about a month ago. I've been asking around if anyone else had seen it.

I live in San Diego, California and I had just got off work and was traveling east on the Interstate 8. Above the mountains in front of me was a bunch of clouds, then suddenly this boomerang looking object came out of the clouds towards me, then banked left then headed east back into the clouds.

It was big, but I was having a hard time trying to figure out how far away it was. I almost crashed! Its been bugging me for weeks now. So tonight I thought, you know, let me look on the internet and see if anyone else saw this.

Everyone I've mentioned it to looks at me like I'm crazy. I've seen orbs twice now, but this boomerang thing was impressive. It was an orange kind of color.

I've never seen anything like it so it was hard to process what I was witnessing. I'm an artist, so I think I'm going to draw what I saw. I came across you, so I thought I would share this with you.

I'm always looking to the sky and like I said, I've seen orbs so I'm always looking up. Everyone makes fun of me, but now that I found you I know I'm not crazy.

I'm 45 years old so I'm not a little kid even though I feel like one now writing this to you. Now this is driving me nuts for sure. I want to see it again. Let me know if anyone else saw what I saw. Thanks!

Hi Brian, thanks for getting back to me. I narrowed it down. It was light out still, so it was December 19, 2014 at around 5:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. on a Friday.

I was headed home on Interstate 8 eastbound. This thing appeared from what I can tell above La Mesa or Santee. It came out of the clouds slightly towards me then banked to the south and then towards the west right back into the clouds.

It was moving effortlessly as if it was gliding, but it defied gravity. I couldn't believe something so big could turn like it was. I think the reason I kind of dismissed it was because I was in traffic, so I looked around to see if anyone else was seeing this.

No one from what I could tell. I got the feeling like it didn't want to be seen. It was a burnt orange metallic color and luminous, but the sun was setting behind me in the west so it is possible it was a reflection of that, but I cant say for sure.

It looked exactly like a wing from a passenger jet, but no body fuselage, but big. Real big. This all happened in seconds. It didn't even disturb the clouds as it reentered them. I've been talking about it ever since.

I don't know why I didn't follow up on it sooner. Since I emailed you last night, I've been beating myself up over why did I dismiss this? Why didn't I look on the internet? Why with an interstate with all lanes filled with cars, am I the only one that saw it.

What's crazier is I talked to my brother last night and told him what I saw. He almost crapped his pants. He claims he saw the same thing exactly during the lunar eclipse of 2010.

He said he only told a few people. But he did however get a photo of something else shortly after that. Google DC Buchanan UFO.

Crescent Shaped UFO/Craft Observed In The Sky From Calgary Alberta (Solved - The Moon)

Hello, In the southeastern sky at Calgary, Alberta at approximately 7:00 a.m. I saw something that looked like a crescent moon.

In fact as I was barely awake having a smoke I thought it was the moon until I realized it was in east not west.

It was rising not setting. Any other reports of this?

Rotating Cylindrical Shaped UFO In The Sky Over Abbotsford British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Hello, I live in Abbotsford, British Columbia and last night (December 13, 2014) about 7:30 p.m. my family and I were in our hot tub looking at the stars and trying to spot satellites.

We saw a strange cylindrical shape flying south. There were no lights, but there looked to be a faint inner glow to it. It was, I think, lower than a plane would fly and moved quite quickly.

My son said that it was rotating, but his eyes are better than mine and I did not notice that.

I would be curious if anyone else saw anything. Thanks.

Triangular Shaped UFO Hovering In The Sky Between Edinburgh And Irvine UK

Time:  Evening.

Hi there, I was driving from Edinburgh to Irvine last night on the 28th November 2014.

As me and my son looked out the right hand side window we could see a triangular shaped object hovering or slowly flying past us heading east.

It was a flame like color no trails, no lights or anything.

We thought a meteor, but to trail and a lot slower.

We have been curious since last night and thought I would share this with you. Thanks.

Boomerang Shaped UFO With Lights Making Low Groan Over Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Time:  Approx: 1:18 a.m.

Hello, I'm currently in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and on November 30, 2014 approximately 1:18 a.m., I saw an object moving in the clear, night sky some 300 feet above the bay.

Boomerang shaped, the leading edge had lights,windows inside the edge of the V shape. I almost fell over my balcony thinking, this isn't right.

The boomerang was flying bow forward, not point into the wind. So slow it was, but not entirely silent. A low groan, I heard, felt. Again, so slow and gliding effortlessly.

It turned to sea and no lights were visible anymore. The whole thing was about 25 seconds.

V Or Boomerang Shaped UFO Looked Cloaked In The Sky Above Apache Junction Arizona

Date:  November 11, 2014
Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Very similar experience. I am in Apache Junction, Arizona and was sitting outside with my husband around our fire pit.

It was around 8:00 p.m., on November 11, 2014 when I notice this image moving across the sky and honestly thought it was an owl.

The movement was organic, as if it was a bird flying, but it was nothing more than "stars". It was very much like the Predator movies where you could tell something was there, but were looking through it at the same time.

The shape was the same 'V' or boomerang shape others have mentioned. Before I couldn't see it anymore the 'V' came together and the just dissolved. Similar to how a firework fizzles out.

It was the most amazing and confusing thing I have seen.
