Huge Triangular UFO Drains Cars Batteries Over Peterborough Ontario (Excellent Diagrams/Maps/Audio Interview)

From Brian Vike’s UFO Files.

The Vike Report (Brian Vike’s Past Radio Show)

In the early morning of July 5, 2004 at approximately 4:00 a.m. at Peterborough Ontario Canada my cousin and myself observed a fast moving object overhead and then it disappear over an area called Little lake.

A few moments later, we observed a triangle of three lights (bright). We thought it was just the stars at first, but then the lights we thought were stars began to move, it then disappeared back towards Little Lake (easterly direction)

Now fast forward 2 days at approximately 3.30 a.m. on Lafayette Ave in Peterborough.

Earlier in the evening I had observed a bright streak in the sky toward the east, so I was watching the eastern sky close.

All of a sudden I observed 2 small bright fast moving objects moving to the east. Very fast, I might add, so here I'm watching towards the east not paying attention directly overhead. All of a sudden everything just seemed to get real quiet. Eerie quiet.

So I'm looking east, then I just get these creepy feelings that something was watching me, you know what I mean.

I turned and looked down the street towards the General Electric plant (900 feet approximately) I swear I couldn't hear the background noises you usually hear traffic dogs etc..

So now I notice the glow from the street light seemed to be changing color on the cars on the street. Then I look up, my god there it is, coming right over the house. This thing is massive !

I swear I could have hit it with a sling shot. So its kind of slowly idling east, at like I don't know 5 km maybe.

The craft stops, then starts going sideways now towards the GE plant, it seemed as wide as the distance between GE and our house.

I don't know much about this stuff, but I swear this is one evil looking outfit with 3 lights. (brownish orange very dim) One at each point of the triangle, not that it is pointed, but at the ends.

The ends are rounded off, I will send a little drawing I made. It seems to be a blue black color, but flat no shine, almost a rough finish, a circular dome dead center of the bottom in a hexagon type enclosure.

No light or glowing color on this dome. This is set in an indented area that almost had the look of the surface of a pool. I could now see the one side that appeared to have some kind of indentations, probably doors or some kind of hatch.

It sat there for probably 3 minutes, but seemed like a lifetime.

Then it just moved so fast you couldn't even tell the direction it went. Anyway, I have seen it twice since then, but it was a lot higher up. Probably 1500 feet.

Maybe its just me or maybe something else, but I know they know I saw them. I don't think these guys are real friendly. I could just feel it. Anyway couple observations.

Next day my neighbors Dodge Intrepid battery was completely zapped. He had to replace the alternator and battery the next day.

His Olds wouldn't start either, the alternator and battery fried. His name is (removed) and I'm sure he would verify that. My Camry's two month old Kenwood stereo fried. Rear light wiring fried.

Battery was completely dead by 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, so I recharged it and it came back to life.

Still had problems with the wiring, so I had it repaired at Russell Toyota in Peterborough 489 dollars.

One other thing I would like to add, there was the weak aroma of like a burnt transformer in the air for a few minutes after the craft left.

I might add as well I went into the back yard and alley behind the house to get a good view of this thing because I couldn't see all three lights from the street because of its size.

Sighting Dates And Times.

July 5, 2004...4:00 a.m.
July 7, 2004 - Close sighting as per sketches 3:30 a.m.
July 17, 2004 - 1500 feet approximately details hard to see just shape and 3 light. Moved east then drifted towards G.E
August 26, 2004 - Triangle lights looked like brighter than usual stars moving east.

Additional Information:

Well the first object was moving very fast but slowing to some extent.

It was moving from the west towards the east and dropping until we lost sight of it behind the buildings. It was an orange colored object. Very bright !

We would have been looking in a North to Northeast direction. I get mixed up with the directions.

The altitude I would say, when first in view was probably 5,000 feet descending to 1,000 feet. It came on what seemed to be an exact path of the triangle lights.

The first triangular lights seemed to be a bit bigger and clearer, but I had no idea until I saw the one over the house how big it was.

What I found out today is that General Electric here supposedly stopped making reactor parts years ago, but I found a website while searching that sheds some light on this: http://www.cnwc-cctn.ca/gefuel.html (site not there anymore at the address given)

I asked people what they do there at the plant and nobody seems to know. I have only lived here a while so I thought they might have been making fridges or something.

At the gate to GE on Monaghan drive it seems really secure. This is a huge plant

I can see the plant right from my (removed) but that street it is on called Albert and is a half mile long and the plant runs the distance of the street. I guess there are only 700 workers in the plant now but it did employ upwards of 7,000 at one time.

They make fuel pellets for the Candu Reactors, but you can't find it on one single GE site anywhere..

About the time: It seemed like it was 3 minutes but when I came back in the house it was 5:17 by my computer. So one and a half hours passed roughly.

This thing was directly overhead but it sort of stopped then drifted towards the plant. What I mean by directly overhead (the front) I assume it was the front seemed directly over and inline with the driveway.

I had to go into the backyard, into the alley to see it all and that's when I got the feeling they knew I was there. Then I went running back out to the street and saw a girl running like heck towards the other street (Chamberlaine) It rotated slightly to its left as it drifted over the plant.

I still get Goosebumps just thinking about it. The front moved till it was almost out past Jackson Ave. I'll see if I can do a picture over a map if I can find one.

Unusual sensations: Well other than being freaked out I seemed to have my hearing kind of muffled. Like I had a head cold sort of effect. A couple times I had the momentary feeling like I was lost or didn't know where I was

Weather: Its always been overcast, partly cloudy. But the sky seems to clear up just at the right time.

See what really scared the "ba jezus" out of me, was that I was watching to the east looking for those lights to reappear and the thing kind of creeped up behind me.

So I was really startled when I looked up so it was just moving dead slow at this point from the west.

Street lights: The reflections on the cars changed from the usual glow, to a more I guess orange glow.

I saw the shadows on the street change a bit so I knew there was something above me and I looked up and just thought, Oh my god, what the heck is that.

I don't think anyone would have heard me scream if I did scream any way. Its like noise was being suppressed somehow. Like some kind of silence field around the thing and maybe I was in that field? Not sure.

Would be 3 cars I know of that had electrical screw ups the next day. I don't talk to a lot of people around here and the flood happened the next day, so 24 hours after the sighting everything was so crazy.

I sure had some weird dreams and stuff since this happened. I seem to really notice the shape in architecture and stuff.

My wife says its like I've had some little psychic twinge switched on. Like I'll know the phone is going to ring before it does things like that.

Anyway here are some maps so you can get a feel for the layout of the area .The area in Grey is the GE Plant I tried to show where the Triangle stopped then moved sideways until it was over G.E. 2 of the maps are just for reference kind of.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

In this interview Brian Vike talked with a fellow who gave a excellent description of the Huge Triangle UFO he observed. The street lights changed, car batteries were dead the next morning, just an amazing encounter. The size of this clip is 42 mbs and it is 30 minutes in length. The interview is in a MP3 format.

UFO Experiences In Transcona Manitoba (Letter And Diagrams)

From Brian Vike's UFO Files.

It was on Wednesday evening at 8:15 when I actually saw a black triangle shaped aircraft fly right over apartment building.

I first heard the sound of a jet engine running at very low power and quickly looked out the window to see the aircraft, which was flat and non reflective

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike's Note: I wrote a quick sentence or two and have posted the entire report in it's letter form along with diagrams of the UFO. All the scanned documents are below.

Football Sized UFO Looked Like A Ferris Wheel Rotating In The Sky Outside Toronto Ontario (Written Report/Audio Interview/Diagram)

From Brian Vike’s UFO Files.

Date: Winter of 1980, (January ?)
Time: Evening.

UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: Along with this report below, you will see the UFO reporting form which was written up by a UFO investigator years ago. Also two of the original diagrams the eyewitness provided to the investigator, also two new diagrams in which the eyewitness drew up recently for Brian Vike.

Also you will notice that Brian Vike has left the eyewitnesses name in the report form, I asked the witness if I should remove it, and he said it was fine to leave his name in, but I did remove his address and phone number which you will note on the reporting form.

If anyone witnessed this event back in the winter of 1980, would you please contact me here at The Vike Factorsighting@telus.net as by the sounds of things other folks had witnessed this as well, according to a newspaper article which was run on this sighting event.

Full Description of event/sighting: Around the winter of 1980, January perhaps, I just got off work at 9:30 p.m. from the auto dealership. I was a car salesman at the time. I started driving towards the city of Toronto, Canada, on the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) eastbound to meet some friends at a bar on the Esplanad (a street lined with nightclubs). I didn't have anything to drink and didn't smoke any pot on that day/evening.

As I was driving, I noticed a string of lights slowly rotating counter clockwise over the city of Toronto, at about the ten o'clock position from my point of view. This caught my eye because these formation of lights were very unusual.

The lights were evidently in a circular pattern with about two thirds visible as the other third rotated out of view. Imagine a pie plate with about 25 lights around the circumference of it. As this "pie plate" would revolve, a third of these lights would be hidden from view as if they were obstructed by a solid body. It was at night so all I could see was these rotating string of lights but they were definitely on a "fixed" platform as the lights were revolving in unison.

Although I've heard of UFO's and was curious, at that time in my life, I didn't really give that much thought about them. I've always been interested in nature and especially about the universe. I've seen all kinds of aircraft and advertising blimps at night before.

I drove taxi's off and on for fifteen years on the night shift and have seen countless meteors, lightening, satellites etc. On two occasions I've even seen extremely bright, slow falling, green fireball meteors lighting up the ground, for a couple of seconds, as if it was daylight.

I've read, in later years, were other witnesses reported green fireballs as UFO's. I chuckled to myself thinking how easily "UFO believers" can be fooled by natural phenomenon.

Anyway, these circle of lights were slowly descending and approaching towards me (westbound), while I was driving about 115 kilometers per hour on the highway eastbound. These lights were getting closer and closer as "we" approached each other. I recall thinking to myself that this must be some kind of advertising balloon and those lights were letters.

As I kept driving, I was paying more and more attention to this object because the closer it was getting, the more unusual it looked. I kept glancing at it, while driving, waiting until it was close enough to read what these letters were saying, still thinking it was some kind of advertising blimp.

The closer it got, the more I looked at it. Now at my nine o'clock position, the string of rotating lights started to bank left like an airplane would "turning right" At this point, I realized that these lights were not letters at all. They were different shaped, yellowish white lights.

The reason these lights were different in shape was because they were "ingrained" into some body. When the lights were seen head on, they were circular. But as they rotated out of "direct" view, they changed shape like the different crescents of the moon. That's why they appeared to be all different shapes.

Anyway, during the time when this object started to bank left, from my point of view, I was struggling with myself trying to understand whether this was a plane or a balloon. It was flying too slow for a plane, yet, too fast for a blimp. Also, it didn't appear to be flying or floating. The best way I can describe it's motion is that it looked like it was "sailing" in the sky.

What's interesting here is that the human brain tries to associate what the eyes are seeing, to something already seen or experienced before. That's why I was at war with myself trying to decide whether this object was a plane, blimp or a balloon.

Every time I resigned myself to what I must be witnessing, I jumped to another conclusion. This jumping from one conclusion to another occurred during the whole experience. I was imagining all kinds of things. For example, if it was a plane, the only way these lights could have been positioned was in a circle because this plane must have had some kind of supporting structure in a circle from wing tip to wing tip. This didn't make any sense at all.

I've seen advertising planes before. This was nothing like this. Not even close. Then I was trying to imagine a "Goodyear blimp" with these letters going across it's side. This was nothing like it either. So here I was, trying to drive and watch this object at the same time.

As I was driving, I started to slow down because I kept looking at this circle of lights more than the road ahead of me. In retrospect, I don't even know how I kept my car on the road because I was so awed by this display in the sky.

Here is the killer.

As the object kept banking and banking more and more, it eventually ended up totally perpendicular to the ground! The first thing that came to mind was a big Ferris wheel rotating in the sky. At this point I slowed down to about 50 KPH (30 miles an hour in a 60 MPH highway for my American friends) and put my four way, flashing hazard lights on my car fearing that another car would smash into the back of me for going so slow on a 100 KPH highway.

Here is the shocker.

As I was mesmerized by this UFO, a surge of adrenaline hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't realize how big this thing was. At first I thought it was the size of an airplane fairly close. It was gigantic! At least twice the size of a football field, bigger than an aircraft carrier! I don't know what gave away it's size. Maybe the reflections of light on the ground.

The best way I can relate this sudden realization is like one of those illusions most of us have seen. You know, when you look at a pixel drawing with an image you can't see until you stare at it for a while? After a period of time, you make out the face of a women or something like that?

That's kind of the transformation I experienced. At first I thought the object was the size of a large plane than suddenly I really saw it. It was huge! I yelled out loud to my self, "holey crap", it's huge". I don't freaking believe it, It's freaking huge! I thought it was fairly close at first, than bang!, it was much farther away and larger than my brain first comprehended it.

Speaking about this surge of adrenaline. Have you ever had a really close call having a car accident? When your heart rate skyrockets to about 180 beats per minute? That's what I felt when I realized how gargantuan this object was! I could literally feel my heart pounding like crazy. To be frank, it literally scared the hell out of me, when I realized how big it was.

At this point, I rolled down my window and pointed to this giant "Ferris wheel" in the sky to the other motorists, but it appeared no one seemed to notice as they screamed by me at regular highway speeds. I remember how cold it was when I rolled down my window. It was something like minus 30 Celsius below zero.

After, I don't know how long, probably only a few seconds of rotating in this perpendicular position, this thing started to climb and right itself and "sail" back to the direction it originally came from. I rolled up my window, turned off my hazard lights, and started to speed up to chase it. Still it seemed other motorists didn't notice this object. It still irks me to this day.

As I was approaching the city limits, this object was in it's flat position again climbing over the city. Then, all of a sudden, the rotating lights turned off except for a red "aircraft like" blinking light (which I never noticed before). After a few seconds, the rotating lights turned on again. It was like in the movie "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind".

The lights just blasted on. Then after a few seconds they turned off again as it seemed to be right over the city. Strange behavior. Now I was exiting off of the highway on to Spadina Rd. I lost track of these lights because of the tall buildings. When I was on the street where I was going, I saw a cop parked on the other side of the road writing a parking ticked.

I stopped in the middle of the road and ran over to him. He was quite taken aback by my seemingly aggressive approach. I asked him, "how long have you been here?" I forgot what he said, but I asked, "did you see that big circle of lights flying in the sky?

He said "no". After parking my car, I met my friends at the bar, "Baily's", and told them what happened but they didn't take me seriously as they've already had a few and were more interested in the ladies.

After "sitting at the bar by myself" for a couple of hours I went home. I was living at my parent's house at the time, temporarily, so when I got home around 1:00 A.M., I called the police. I didn't know who else to phone at the time.

They didn't take me seriously of course so after that, I phoned the Toronto International Airport and managed to get through to Air Traffic Control and asked them if they had anyone call in with a UFO report. Nothing. So I called the police again and convinced them to take me seriously as I wanted to make a report.

They told me they can send a couple of officers to my house. As it was late and my parents were asleep, I told them I'd rather come to the station the next day to report. Next morning, when I contemplated going in I decided not to, fearing they would think I'm some kind of wacko.

As the days went by, scanning the newspapers looking for a "UFO sighting" to no avail, I started doubting myself. I was trying to convince myself that perhaps I was somehow mistaken. Maybe it was something not out of the ordinary at all. Maybe it was a balloon or airplane of some kind. Maybe like thousands of others, I witnessed something that I misinterpreted for something else.

And now the conclusion.

About a week or so later, on or about the tenth page of the Toronto Star, bottom right hand corner, there it was! A short article. "Dozens of Mississauga residents reported a UFO as big as a football field!"

I don't recall the whole article. I'll never doubt myself again no matter how much ridicule I'll be subjected to. After about 27 years, I just had to let this out.

UFO Or Spectacular Fireball Event Observed Low In The Sky Over Sayward British Columbia (Diagrams/Telephone Interview/Documents/Map)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Re-posted by Brian.

Date: July 29, 2002
Time: 10:50 p.m.

Witness #1 (out of 6 witnesses)

On October 3, 2002 I had a telephone call from a lady who resides in Sayward, British Columbia which is located on the north eastern shore of Vancouver Island. It has about 1500 inhabitants and is approximately two hours south of Port Hardy, one hour north of Campbell River and four hours north of the provincial capital, Victoria.

She had read an article which I had written and which had been published in the North Island Gazette (in a letter to the editor) ... where I had asked residents to report any strange lights they may have seen recently in the area and which I could investigate.

I had heard from a colleague who informed me that a number of witnesses had reported seeing a large fireball over Sayward, B.C. on the evening of July 29, 2002.

Below Image: Location map of Sayward, British Columbia.

The reason why I was so interested in hearing from these folks was due to the major sighting which took place here (Houston, Quick, Telkwa and Smithers, British Columbia) on the same evening where nine witnesses in four different communities watched an unforgettable event which seemed to be connected to the Sayward B.C sighting.

Below Drawing: Witness drew what it was they observed.

The lady went on to tell me that there was a total of six witnesses who she knew who had also observed the same thing. Her mother, aunt and three other women had witnessed this strange object, all within a kilometer from each other ... and to this day she can't figure out what it may have been.

Below Image: Witness #1 filled out a questionnaire for Ed Majden - EMO Fireball Network Station, Courtenay: http://victoria.rasc.ca/articles/2003/sandia_bolide.htm

Image Left: Click on the image for larger view.

When it was first observed she told me that she thought it was a meteor, but as it travelled along, she quickly changed her mind.

She said after the event was over she logged on to the internet to seek help in trying to find an answer which might give some clue as to what she had seen.

She found a Meteorologist in Courtney, B.C. and wrote him a letter explaining what it was she had seen and heard.
The gentleman told her that it was most likely a meteor, but she felt like she was getting the run around, and nothing basically came from her request for information.

She'd been told to provide the latitude and longitude of her sighting .. and of course she was unable to do that. It was not her expertise !

However he did ask if he could send out a short questionnaire for her and the other witnesses to complete.

She received the paperwork and forwarded it to the other ladies and they all filled it in. After the questionnaires were completed and collected, everyone's information was basically the same. Three of the witnesses drew pictures of their sighting.

Below Drawing: Witness drew what it was they observed.

Another trip to the internet (to my website) provided the witness with more accounts of the same sighting. A similar object had been seen further north (Bulkley Valley) on the same date, much to her surprise. She immediately contacted me by telephone to tell me of her experience and how she thought it may have been the same object.

The only difference in all the reports is that this witness did hear noises and went on to say the other three ladies also heard the same sounds.

She explained where she was standing, on her driveway and the object was "just there" in front of her "just" above the small mountain. I was told by this witness that it was the noise which had attracted her attention.

In her words she said the sound was like that of a "screecher" (fire cracker) which gave off a whistling noise. When she looked up, the first thing that was noted was a white tail.

She also said the object looked as if it was hovering, moving really slowly. It also had a white core center and black coloring around the outside edges. It was also described as being covered with fire, or an orange color all the way around it.

As this was taking place, she heard a scream from her neighbors property behind her. Her comments to herself after hearing the screaming from the neighbors was, "exactly"!, meaning she was glad someone else saw it.

After she lost sight of the object, a couple of minutes went by when her mother and aunty came driving up in their van.

The witness got into the van and did not want to mention what she had just seen, but because it was such an amazing event she said to her mother and aunty you wouldn't believe what I just saw. The two women just looked at her and said, "did you see what we've just seen"? She told them yes.

Brian Vike's, The Vike Factor Investigators Note: I have talked to the two witnesses who were driving the van at the time and have their reports as well.

They will be written up separately. Some of the witnesses work for the Provincial Emergency Program, so all are very credible and thought, at the time, that they were going to have to respond to crashed aircraft.

I asked the woman if she could give me a rough idea how far off the ground the object might have been, she turned and asked her boyfriend, he said their property was sitting about 100 feet above sea level, and the witness said the object was approximately 100 feet off the ground traveling horizontally.

Her thoughts were that the object was going to go into the ocean. It seemed as if it had just crashed.

She explained that the Meteorologist she had contacted ... had said, in all his days...he has never heard of a meteor making any noise. When I asked the witness about the size of this object, she said it was "Huge"!

I asked her what was the duration of the sighting and she replied that she had watched the object for approximately 3 to 4 seconds before she lost sight of it when the trees on her property blocked the view.

I received copies of the drawings made by the witnesses and also copies of the questionnaires which you have found in this report.

Questionnaire from EMO Fireball Network Station Courtenay for the witnesses to fill out.
http://www.amsmeteors.org/spectra/majdenobs.html

So far we have had no reports on this object. Can you or someone that observed this event answer a couple of questions?

1. How bright was it as compared to the Moon or the planet Venus? Venus should have been visible low in the NW around evening twilight.

2. You mentioned sound associated with this object. Was this sound simultaneous or occurring at the same time you saw the object or was it delayed sound?

3. Did you hear a sonic boom? If so, how long after you saw the fireball did it occur?

4. What part of the sky was it in?

5. Did it pass overhead?

6. What was the duration of the fireball?

7. Would you say it was fast, slow, etc.

8. Did it break-up or fragment or was it just a solid object?

Please answer these questions as best you can. Ask them of each person who saw the event and try not to influence them as to what they saw. Have them report their own impression of what they observed or heard.

If we get any more reports I will let you know. Thanks for reporting this to us.

The results to the above questions have been postal mailed to me, as soon as I receive them I will post the answers to these questions.

Below is an email I received from the Sandia Bolide Detection Station EMO Courtenay, B.C in which explained the gentleman's thoughts on what he felt the residents of Sayward saw. I do thank this fellow for his input and answering my email.

Hello Brian:

Thanks for your email. This object was probably a bright meteor. You get all kinds of strange reports when these events occur as most people that see a bright fireball are surprised by it and are not skilled at making such observations.

We often get reports that the meteor landed just behind my farmer Joe's barn. If you see a bright fireball, it is still quite high in the atmosphere and many kilometers from you.

The last portion of the flight is not visible. Directions are not accurate either. It can be moving toward you or away from you and still draw the same path across the sky. It is better to ask the observer if it was going from left-to-right or right-to-left.

This way we can determined if we have observers on both sides of the path. This is necessary if you want to do a triangulation and plot a possible fall area. You should see the reports we get from UFO buffs! If the fireball is near you, a sonic boom is often heard, sometime after the event.

Perhaps several minutes later depending on how far away it is. Some people report simultaneous sounds but this is still not proven. It is probably too late to do anything about this event but we are still interested in hearing about them.

Best regards:
Ed Majden - Sandia Bolide Detection Station EMO Courtenay, B.C.

Brian Vike, The Vike Factor's Note: I already have two more reports to add soon to this page, and I will be contacting the other three witnesses tonight, October 8, 2002.

Sayward, British Columbia

Witness #2 (out of 6 witnesses)

I interviewed a very nice lady who took the time to explain what she had seen the night of July 29, 2002.

In this report two sisters were in their vehicle when the passenger exclaimed "oh my goodness, what is that"? The driver then spotted the object, and thought both women thought it was an airliner about to crash.

She said it was very "low" and thought it was on fire. She again stressed just how low it was from the ground. (Maybe 150 feet when she watched it pass by.)

I asked the witness if the object was traveling in a horizontal position, or had any slight angle to it. She said it could have been going straight, meaning flying horizontally.

She stopped for a moment, and said to me, "I know this is going to sound strange, but it looked as if it was being operated by someone !"

She said she didn't think it was falling down at all, but more like an airplane which was coming into an airport to land and almost following a straight path.

As both women are part of the Provincial Emergency Program they were concerned that they would be called out that night to deal with an impending crash.

They rushed down to the wharf to see if there was any activity in the water, island or on the mainland which isn't far from Sayward across the ocean. They were expecting to see flames, debris and a crash scene and couldn't not believe that there was no sign of anything out of the ordinary.

The witness described the object as being dark. It looked like a big black cloud with the moon behind it. She said it was very long, like a cigar shaped object.

Brian Vike, The Vike Factor's Note: She did not want to use the words "cigar shaped", as she had heard of these types of objects before. She preferred to compare it to the shape and size of the body of a 747 aircraft.

Next day she drove past the same spot where the object had been seen previously and realized what she had seen had indeed been flying "very low". There had been no sound heard from the object because the women were traveling inside a vehicle at the time.

She stressed to me it did not look like it was falling, but being handled. (She said I don't know if that is the right word to use, but it looked as if it was coming in to land, and looked to her as if it was on fire.) She went on to say, I couldn't tell you what it was, but I sure know what I saw !

The witness also drew what she saw on paper, and after everyone was done, all the drawings were compared and found to be identical.

Her sighting lasted for approximately: 4 seconds. It was also moving very slow, and like she mentioned to me, she had seen many meteors in her life, and this was no meteor.

Thank you so much to this witness for sharing her experience with me.

Witness # 3

I talked with the third witness who gave a brief description of what she saw on July 29, 2002. She said it looked like a plane blowing up ! (A huge fireball of flame). She also told me that the object was very low to the ground, but it was hard to estimate the exact altitude.

It was traveling straight along, not falling at an angle.

This witness said she heard no sound coming from it.

She described the color as being orange/yellow.

It also had a short tail following behind. In her estimation she figured the total time of the sighting lasted between 5 to 8 seconds.

She claims the object was traveling in a northerly direction.

Thank you to this witness for her report.
Brian.

I had no written report for the fourth witness, I do though have an audio interview.

I would like to thank the witness for all of their help.
Brian.

Huge Massive UFO Floated Up The Ottawa River Strathcona Park Ontario (Letter/Diagrams)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files)

Dear Brian, Hello from (name removed) who sent me your name and address and indication that you would be interested in my story of craft hovering over the water on evening of March 7, 2001. So I thought, why not. This is what I recall.

I am already outside, down at the water’s edge at Strathcona Park. This park is less than a mile from where I live. In Ottawa, Ontario.

The water is part of the Ottawa River, which runs right through the city of Ottawa, in the south end where I live.

Anyway, I recall standing at the waters edge in the late evening, it’s already dark out. I don’t recall seeing anyone else near by. From my left, I recall hearing a low rumbling noise, noise came very slowly in my direction, following the course of the water.

I recall seeing a “huge” craft about the size of 1/2 football field approximately in size. It was “floating” about 1,000 feet up in the air, grey in colour, “floating very slowly, almost silent except for this very low rumbling noise.

There appeared to be lots of small windows on the top section. I remember I was feeling very much in awe, and very impressed by the huge, massive size.

I wasn’t scarred at all. I knew I was safe, I knew I wouldn’t get hurt or harmed in anyway by this craft. In total, I watched it for about 10 minutes. I don’t recall whether it just vanished or kept floating past until it was out of sight or what, but my last recollection is of me looking up into the sky and seeing this huge craft and feeling safe and impressed by the massive size.

If I close my eyes I can still picture the craft in vivid detail in my mind’s eye. I have tried to sketch it for you, but my attempt doesn’t really do the actual craft proper justice.

I did have something else to tell you concerning this craft. A male friend of mine met up with me the following day or so later. Like myself, my friend is also very much interested in UFO material. I told him of my experience of the evening of March 7, 2001. As I was telling him, his very eager manor indicated he had something to tell me.

He had been, about one hour after dark, on the evening of March 7, 2001, on Cummings bridge, which spans the Ottawa river. Now Cummings bridge is about one mile up river., to my left.

He said he was standing on the bridge, used by cars and pedestrians alike. He said he saw lights flashing in the sky directly above the water about a few hundred feet in the air. There was still a lot of ice on the water. These lights were flashing and moving down river very slowly. (they would have been moving in my direction)

My friend watched the lights slowly move down river until they disappeared. He didn’t follow them, he says now he wishes he had. He said he went back to the same spot on the bridge in the morning light and noticed that the ice had been broken up directly down the middle of the river, and as if it had been cut by a knife.

Not unusual in ice breakup with chunks floating willy-hilly about, but a very exact straight cut through the ice straight down the course of the river. Probably the same path the lights had taken.

My friend and I surmise we witnessed the same craft., he from the bridge, me an hour or so later at the water’s edge.

I remember thinking a few days after this sighting, that I was “supposed” to be at the water’s edge that evening. This is something I don’t generally do, go down to the water at night alone, because this is an unlit area.

It is totally dark down there at the water’s edge. I generally only go down there during the day so I can see where I am going and not fall in the water.

My friend did ask me what kind of craft I thought it might be. “Mother ship” immediately came to mind. I had the felling I was “supposed” to witness this craft and also, and this might sound crazy, but it’s how I felt and still do feel.

I have a feeling they knew I was witnessing their craft and it isn’t the last time. This is only the beginning and that’s ok with me.

Also several weeks later I was on my balcony, on the second floor apartment, on a clear blue sky day when I saw for maybe 2 to 3 seconds at eye level, I am standing up, I’m just over 6 feet tall, about half way between my building and Strathcona Park area, a craft heading towards me, yellow in color.

I have also included a sketch of this craft. This would have been about the first or second week in April. Perhaps a bit earlier.

So there you have it. I do hope this information is useful. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thanks Brian.

P.S. – Brian, if you do publish this story, please publish it under the name Johanna. Thanks Brian.
