Witness Observes Star Like Object/Light Over Eau Claire Wisconsin (Update: International Space Station)

Hi, I live in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and at approximately 6:15 a.m. this morning, what at first I thought was a star, (Dog Star of the  morning sky), move easterly towards me at the speed of a helicopter.

I watched it to see if it was, and as it passed overhead, there was no noise.

It was too low for a satellite. The thought of a drone entered my mind, what say you? Thanks.

Retired US Navy Aircraft Mechanic Observes Orange Colored Light Over Everson Washington

Colour of Object: N-NW, then West.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I too saw this same or similar light in the sky last night. However, it was south of me heading north by northwest. I live in Everson, WA 98247.

The light was approximately 5 or more times the size of the surrounding stars. I am a retired US Navy aircraft mechanic, so I am very used to visually identifying aircraft of all types.

This light was the wrong color for a landing and or spot/flood light. The object made no noise, and traveled in the sky for more than a minute before fading out much like a meteor would. However, it was traveling very slow across the sky like a high altitude aircraft would.

The thing that really surprised me is, this light made a right turn, however the light source didn't fade as landing lights would during a turn from my vantage point.

My concern was, it was an aircraft on fire. When the object made the turn to the west, it traveled for several seconds, and then slowly faded out. Were there any other reports of this object?

Has anyone figured out what it was? If it were landing lights, I would have seen an aspect change in the lights intensity as the aircraft turned. If it were a meteor it would not be able to make a right turn.

Not having any detectable sound is irrelevant as acoustics from aircraft can be very misleading anyway. The only thing I can surmise is it must have been an aircraft with a major fire, that got the fire out using the onboard fire suppression systems.

Let me know if you know anything. If it was an aircraft on fire, I hope the pilot(s) made it back safely.

Eyewitness Observes Glowing Orange Light/Object In The Western At Central Illinois

Time:  7:40 p.m.

At 7:40 p.m. to the west of my home in Central Illinois, I saw a orange glowing ball of light.
It was very slowly lowering to ground.

I really couldn't believe what I saw. I used my binoculars and it appeared to radiate red and a slight blue. This took place on 2/13/15.

Witness Observes Bright Green Light In The Sky When Leaving Lancaster Texas

Hi, my name is (name removed) and this past Saturday, around 10:15 p.m. I was traveling on 35 going to I-20 for downtown when out of the left side I saw a bright green light shoot across the sky.

I thought maybe someone was shooting fireworks, but never saw anything else, but this green light looked just like the picture to your link. Thanks again.

Witness Observes UFO Switching Directions Over Stratford Ontario

Time:  Approx: 12:15 a.m.

Hi Brian, last night around 12:15 a.m. I was enjoying a soak in my hot tub out in my back yard. The sky was cloudy, but there was some heat lightning that started.

So I was starring at the sky watching it. I saw what looked like a plane flying, but then I thought to myself, wow that plane is flying really fast. Then what really got my attention is that it would switch directions so fast.

I watched whatever I was seeing switch directions four or five times then it seemed to go straight up and disappear. I know what satellites look like. Last night was too
cloudy to see satellites or stars at all.

I live in Stratford Ontario. I'm still mesmerized and questioning what it was that I saw.

UFO Captured On Film While Witness Observes Jupiter From Toronto Ontario (Picture)

I was trying to get a photo of Jupiter, as through my binoculars I could see the moons orbiting around it.

I pulled out my camera, attached it to the tripod and took a photo. Saw a weird bar in the photo so I took it again without moving the tripod. 

This time the bar had moved. We went inside to download it onto the computer so we could zoom in more, and sure enough we had a photo of what looked like flatten DNA flying through the sky!

So strange. I have written a few times before in regard to the Fireballs over the lake.

This I wasn't expecting to see. Photos to come.

This happened at 9:56 p.m. on October 25th 2012 in Toronto Ontario, in the water in Lake Ontario in front of Bluffer's Beach.

My brother's convinced it's a satellite. I'm not so convinced with all the ORB action we have in front of us.

Additional Information:

My photo was taken on a tripod with a remote control timer, so there shouldn't be too much shake.

That being said, I think the exposure was about 5-7 seconds.

This craft wasn't too far from our orb location, which I honestly believe is an underwater base.

I know that sounds crazy, but I've seen too much weird stuff happening in the exact same spot over the year.

Security Guard Observes Strange Bright Light Over Lakeside California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was at work (as a security guard at a large materials plant) when I noticed a bright light to the south. I watched for a moment believing it to be an airplane.

 

The light never varied, so I grabbed my binoculars and observed the strangest object. It was moving slowly towards me and not more than 500 feet off the ground. It passed directly overhead, generating no noise at all.

 

The light emanated from the bottom of the object, not intensely bright and not varying. The light did not sway or oscillate. The rest of the object (above the light) was rocking like a buoy in a heavy sea.

 

It looked like a gondola below a balloon (there was no balloon) except upside down. I watched it for almost 10 minutes as it moved from south to north. I cannot overemphasize how strange this object was.

 

An acquaintance working at a neighboring business told me he had seen a green light drop out of the sky and appear to crash on a hill a half-mile west of where I was (?). There is a small airport 4 miles southwest of my position.

 

To the north is the landing pattern for a military base (MCAS Miramar). I did notice increased activity shortly after this event.

Phoenix Arizona Witness Observes Large Blue Ball Of Light (Meteor)

I was standing outside my Pub talking on the phone and it came from the southeast heading north. It was a large blue ball. I thought it was a helicopter with its spot light on because it was so low. There was no noise.

 

This was about 8:15 p.m. I ran out into the parking lot to see where it went and it was gone. I have never seen anything like that before!

Ex Pilot Observes Bright Orange Lights Seen From Devizes Wiltshire UK

Hi Brian, regarding your orange objects seen over Heathrow on 27 June 2010. Strangely, a month before this date, at about 11:00 p.m. on 2 May 2010 I saw three very bright orange lights in the sky. These were initially in line east - west.

 

I saw these from Devizes Wiltshire which is a little to the west of Heathrow from a pilot's point of view. After 2 minutes they suddenly started moving in differing directions across the sky. Like your sighting I used a small telescope to try to see some structure from the one that moved nearest my location, but it looked like a really bright star or planet.

 

No flicker and none of them were moving with the wind which was wnw 8mph. I know that because I had been paragliding that evening.

 

I put the sighting on a UFO sighting site and someone in West London excitedly reported he had seen orange objects moving across the sky toward the west (i.e. toward Heathrow Airport).

 

I am an ex-pilot (not professional) and sky watcher of decades but I can say I have never seen anything like what I saw that night. Nor can I work out what they were. My feeling was that they were very high in our atmosphere but there was no cloud to help discern their altitude. They could have been 2000 feet or 200,000 feet high.

 

When these orange 'Venuses' were stationary and my thought was military flares because we live near Salisbury Plain mod danger area and see these lots. But when they started to move in different directions I realized they were nothing 'normal' up in the starry sky.

 

Although I have seen some things in the sky over the years that I cannot identify as 'normal' sky phenomena or human vehicles, these orange objects have had a most profound effect on me. When I watched them move apart across the sky I knew I was seeing something really strange. But other people seem to find it easy to dismiss what I have seen as normal.

 

They say it must have been something natural or human. I know pretty much everything that is up 'there' and I ask them to give me an explanation. They cannot but remain sure they have a prosaic explanation. But truly, what I saw was profoundly unusual.

 

Another Heathrow event that happened a couple of years back has also made me feel we are seeing phenomena that we should be trying to scientifically understand. Because these things are in the sky on a regular basis challenging our view of what reality is. I was en-route on the motorway to somewhere else and I stopped in at Heathrow to try out a new camera. (I used to live nearer the airport and have a affection for the place.) 

 

Moving aircraft on short finals give great testing conditions for cameras. I took a number of photos of jets crossing the hedge of 27R on a sharp, sunny day. We could see everything in the sky very clearly, in fact we noticed how many aircraft were going east-west at mid and high altitudes over the airport on N9 airway. We could see easy jet orange 737s at 20,000 feet descending into Bristol, it was that clear.

 

But we didn't see the UFO that I noticed on one of the photos a day later. I had taken a photo of a Fokker 100 jetliner and high up, in the background is an object shaped like a dark grey cigar with a semi pointed end. I thought it might be a bin-bag balloon but the temperatures were too low for such a sun-heated black bin bag balloon to work. 

 

What is odd is that the sun was in the south or south-west and this object is sideways to the sun. The sun should have high lighted its side up but this isn't how it looks.  It looks grey and slightly faint as though it is not completely there. I found another object with these strange semi-real lighting characteristics in a paragliding photograph. Both objects, while shaped differently, look very far away which would make them huge but would explain the lack of clarity. I could email you the photos if it interested you.

Witness Observes Objects Of Different Colors Over New Haven Connecticut

Full Description of Event/Sighting: For the past 5 years, almost on a nightly basis I observe orbs at different locations throughout the state. I live a block away from a major airport. I am well aware of the green and red blinking lights all planes have according to F.A.A flight regulations.

 

The orbs I have witnessed have completely different flight characteristics than any man made aircraft that I'm aware of. The orbs seem to appear out of nowhere and travel in a strange flight paths and irregular patterns.

 

They come to complete stops and turn in 90 degree angles, both vertically and horizontally. I am 100% positive what I am witnessing is not a domestic aircraft's flight pattern. The color ranges from brilliant blues to amber yellows.

Helicopter Pilot Observes Two Orange Burning Lights Over Leckhampstead Buckinghamshire UK

Brian, what can I say, I just saw the craziest thing above Leckhampstead area, Bucks, two orange 'burning' lights in the sky. I thought they were aircraft and I headed over to the pub to get someone else to look, stopped, one headed off into the, (rain), clouds, got smaller and smaller, vanished, the other lingered for a while, then did the same.

At one point I remember thinking 'WTH?', I am a helicopter pilot, and thought I was witnessing two aircraft about to collide, they were so close, then thought it was hot air balloons gas burning, it was really orange in colour. I then realized I hadn't got a clue what it/they was/were. Cheers.

Professional Journalist Observes Three Green Circular Lights Over London UK

Hi there, I live in London (UK) and am not a believer in UFOs or anything like that. But last night (27 March 2011), about 8:00pm local time, I distinctly saw three green, circular lights outside my kitchen window sort of dancing about. I couldn't work out what they were.

They were similar to some kind of laser effect, but there is nowhere they could have been projected from and they were moving independently (i.e not from one source).

It really felt like they were looking in at the flat! In terms of size they were about the size of a tennis ball. I went to get my binoculars to see if I could work out where they were coming from, but when I returned they had gone. I scanned around with the binoculars to see if there was any obvious source. Nothing to report there.

The lights did not come back. I am a professional journalist writing about politics, so this is not at all my field, but nor am I inclined to fantasies or hallucinations. So, what do you reckon? A UFO? And if so, what was it doing? Regards from across the Atlantic.

Hi there Brian, just for interest I too had the same sighting at the same time. Interestingly I’m 3 hours a head of the UK in Southern Russia, UK GMT+3.

It was in the same place by the 2nd star of the handle of the Plough. So how strange that I have the same sighting as someone in the UK and at the same time, but I'm 2200 miles away.

This tells me this object was very, very large and also millions of miles away. Any ideas? Thanks.

Another Eyewitness Observes Same UFO Over Hudson Florida

I was on my bike at about 7:00 and was in the Pine Ridge development next to SR 52 in Hudson Florida. I was about a block from my friends house when I saw it. A flying object that looked like a helicopter, but made the sound of a jet. It was moving and had three white lights on top and one large red light in the center. It was moving slowly over my head.

It wasn't very high up and appeared to be large. It made the sound of a jet or rocket as it moved. After I left my friends house, he said it shinned a light through his window. I believe him entirely, but like you I couldn't get a picture because my phone was dead. If you have any information on this please reply and send anything you can get your hands on about this thing. I didn't only see it, but my friend did and my sister did on the same night at the same time.

That and some of the kids on my block. I found a picture of it online I attached it to this email.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I live in an area where the lights aren't nearly as bright. There's a small forest and river near by, and I go outside once in a while if I'm awake and see the local deer out there. I was feeding one some slices of apple, and looked up to see how cloudy it was to anticipate the weather for later that day and I saw it. A disc in the sky. I thought I was seeing things, so I rubbed my eyes and looked again. Twice.

I felt so shocked, like I was stunned and couldn't move due to awe. If I held my hand out, it would be the size of my thumb nail (across). I could almost bet it was reflective, because staring at it, you could tell it wasn't glowing, it was like it was silver, and reflective. Dim, but definitely there. I've worked on military bases here before, and I know helicopters don't move like that.

It was like a swaying motion, but in that distance, it was moving back and forth maybe a mile or two, just back and forth. I watched for about 5-10 minutes before it hovered, then shot off really fast to the south.

Student At SCF Florida Observes Two Large Metallic UFOs

This is actually very interesting, anyways I'm a student at SCF, last night, I had to run to the library to get a book, it was almost 9 o'clock, when I heard a strange noise as I was driving on Cortez Road. I then looked up and I saw 2 large metallic objects flying next to each other.

I then heard several dogs in the neighborhood barking. I followed the objects, as they were heading down Cortez Road toward the beach, then they started fading away leaving a massive, white, cold smoke in the air.

Witness Observes White Objects Over Leichhardt New South Wales Australia

Time: Approx: 12:05 p.m.

Hi there, I was looking up at a low flying Qantas 747 at approximately 12:05pm today (31/12/10), when I saw what I thought was a piece of the plane fall off. I followed this white "debris" to see where it would land, but it just kind of hovered in the sky. At this point it was quite obvious in the sky.

I then noticed a second white/bright object come closer to the initial one. They sort of just stayed in the same positions for a minute and then got further apart until the first object was following the second object in a northerly direction. At this point they were quite faint against the sky and once or twice they were hard to find.

I was in Leichardt at the time I saw this and the objects positions were more over the city. I would normally cross this off as high flying planes, but the nature of the incident has me convinced that what I saw was not something I can identify as a normal flying object.

Airport Employee Observes Round Blue Light Over FAT Airport Fresno California

Time: Evening.

While working at the airport in Fresno, California, I was driving east on the ramp when I noticed a round blue light in the sky. It was coming from north of me and it was traveling at a very high speed heading east, maybe 20,000 feet altitude. I have never seen anything like it before.

I see jets, planes, helicopters coming in and going all day. We even have the 144th Air National Guard fighter wing base and Marine F-18’s on the other side of the runway. So it's not a F-16s, F-15s or F-18s . Is there an explanation for this?

Former Royal Marines Commando Observes Lights From Canary Wharf London UK

Date: October 31, 2010

Time: Between 2000 and 2030hrs

Hello Brian, I had a sighting last night between 2000 and 2030hrs. I was stood at a viewing point above the mezzanine level of the riverside walk at Canary Wharf overlooking the pier for the Thames clippers. From where I stood I had a panoramic of East (toward Greenwich) to West (the City) of the river, South-London (Rotherhithe/ Bermondsey) ahead of me and the far distance over these areas. On a good night stars are visible and aircraft movement also.

I saw two orange lights of the kind reported in recent weeks by other observers who describe the same phenomena. I am close to London City Airport and also worked there a while. I know what recognition signs there are for aircraft on the ground and in the air particularly where there are safety regulations governing aircraft in transit, their lights and behavior. What I saw I knew immediately to be UFO, even more so when compared to other flying vessels at the time in other regions of the airspace allowing me to compare colours, lights, movement, speed and trajectories.

I saw an orange glow arise form the horizon over what approximately looked to be over Surrey Quays, but of course may well have been far further back than it seemed. It was a slow and deliberate trajectory with no sudden of erratic movements. It rose consistently at an angle on my axis that could have been about 315 degrees. It then suspended for about 30 seconds before moving away in the direction I was facing after which it disappeared slowly from view. Naturally I considered that it could be a Chinese lantern and rationalized other possibilities as I have done on other sightings I've had numbering two other occasions. That was until I saw the exact same activity repeat itself soon after the earlier sighting had occurred. Everything was exactly the same and each viewing lasted about 2/3 minutes approximately.

I had a sighting whilst in the Army serving in Sierra Leone in 2000 on board an RFA vessel carrying troops and supplies docked in the port of Freetown from its deck. I immediately brought this to the attention of others and soon there were up to 20 troops on board looking through sights, binos and whatever else could aid our sighting to confirm what we were seeing. After all sorts of possibilities, it was clear that there emerged no credible explanation of what we all viewed for up to an hour in daylight several miles into the distant horizon of the West African coast and into the South Atlantic ocean.

The most recent sighting immediately prior to last night's was also along the same stretch of walk on the Canary Wharf riverside although a stroll of about 5 minutes eastward at a viewing point on the end of Three Colt Street. I saw across South London a rising from the horizon along a consistent trajectory and which came to a halt low level of the skyline and remained there for up to 5 or so minutes. This sighting was more consistent with my more familiar sighting of colour changes in the visibility of UFO, often chameleon-like blue/red/white interchanges and shape distortions. I had this viewing on a warm and clear summer evening around June/July. I brought it to the attention of a passer-by for comments, and clearly we were both at loss for an explanation, just a curious and peculiar activity.

I've had a brief look at your website which came up after I Googled 'UFO sightings South London' out of curiosity. Needless to say I was surprised at clearly numerous similar and noted sightings and even more so of late over the last 3 or so months. I decided to follow-up your request for information on other sightings.

In addition I read on another site reporting the same phenomena in the same region about military helicopter activities in the vicinity of these sightings at strange times and behaving oddly. I have from where I view the river seen many Chinook and at times Sea King helicopters circling over and travelling along the river and yes over South London, but I had always put it down to military transport of personnel particularly SF or high ranking personnel which isn't entirely unheard of, and in view of SIS being located in SW and MOD being in the city the behavior and presence of these aircraft never raised any further interest other than the rarity of them venturing into city areas.

I am a former Royal Marines Commando and have operated being supported by this vehicle and others and am able to identify them, so when another article reported seeing them land in Southwark Park which I know very well, it increased my interest, particularly as it was a sighting of UFO by an observer that led to this further observation of military aircraft near the location of the sighting soon after. I am aware that increased terrorist investigations and activities requiring the deployment of SF military personnel working with other specialized agencies may well be operating in this way for transport and logistics purposes.

Another Witness Observes UFOs Over Edson Alberta

Date: Beginning June 2010.
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I have watched some footage on YouTube of this multicolored UFO over Edson Alberta and I confirm that this is the same UFO I have seen on many occasions. The first time I saw it I was walking with my wife on the north end of town around 10:00pm in the beginning of June, 2010.

The UFO was to the northeast of the airport hovering and then travelled to the west at a height of approximately 300 feet and slowly increased in altitude to an incredible height and blended in as a star, but still blinking, and stayed in this position approximately towards Hinton.

It is there every time the sky is clear at night. Then a couple weeks later a second UFO travelled over the houses in the north end at a height of approximately 100 feet towards the south and slowly increased in altitude to an incredible height and blended in as a star, but still blinking and stayed in this position approximately towards Calgary.

Then a week later the UFO towards the south was hovering over the water tower in Edson approximately 100 feet, it was as large as a vehicle and bright. Now the UFO towards the south is gone and appears in the north towards Whitecourt and blends in as a star, but still blinking.

So now there is two UFO's with red, blue and greenish blinking lights hovering in the clear night skies. If this old man flying kites can tell me how he flies two kites at once, misses power lines, endless kite string, travels at a fast rate, smooth direction of travel and always between the hours of 10:00pm and 4:00am doesn't he sleep?
