Around 50 Lights In The Night Sky Over Lansing Michigan (Pictures)

Last night as I was driving home I saw way it looked to be around 50 of these lights in the sky around St. Joe.

I've heard they are just lanterns but I have a feelings they're not.

 Here's one of the pictures I took. There were a lot more, but I couldn't get it all in the picture.

Spotted from Lansing Michigan. They were heading towards the direction of the street St. Joe and I was well aware of the clock, it was 11:10 p.m.

About 50 Red Lights Spotted Over Cleveland Ohio

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

 

My roommate had been walking one of the dogs around 8:45 p.m. He had come back inside to pull my son outside to check out the red lights in the sky. Being curious, I also stepped outside to see around thirty red lights flying over the tree line.

 

There was no particular formation to them, but a smaller group of them did appear to make a triangular shape for a few minutes then spread out again.

 

My roommate walked down the street and said there was approximately 50 lights.

 

I called the local police department, who then directed me to the sheriffs department. I was again directed to Cleveland Hopkins Airport head of FFA security.

 

I was told they have no record of any type of military training exercise going on and was then disregarded as if my phone call was a prank of some sort.

 

These lights headed south and then just disappeared. I am curious to know what this was. I live close to three airports, two of which are used for military training. I have seen the bombers fly during the day, so close to the ground as a matter of fact that it seems like you can reach up and touch them, but I have never seen anything like this.

 

I am interested in finding out why some people saw only a few lights, but where I live, many people saw the same thirty to fifty lights.

 

I will look into seeing if anyone recorded this phenomenon and post the video, if possible.

Around 50 Red Lights/Object Over Wake Forest North Carolina

Yup my wife and I were outside Target in Wake Forest and saw them, I actually got them on video, craziest thing I every saw. Followed them down Capt. Blv for a few miles and they looked like a helicopter formation.

 

I've seen before, but absolutely no sound and they weren't that far off the ground 1000 feet or so. Red solid glowing balls moving east.

A String Of 50 Orange Flickering Lights Seen Over Naples Florida

Time:  Evening.

 

On December 31, 2011, a string of orange flickering lights appeared over the beaches in Naples, Fl. There must have been about 50 of them or more over a two-hour period. 

 

They made no noises as an airplane may have. They were flying too late to be Hot Air balloons, it was already dark. Many people are curious, and nobody addressed the matter in the media. 

 

Can someone let us know what these lights were? Please

10 People Watched Around 50 Bright Orange Lights Fly Over Hanover Massachusetts

My father-in-law just called and reported that he and nearly 10 neighbors saw 50 bright orange lights fly over their neighborhood at 7:50 p.m. Eastern U.S. time at Washington St., Hanover, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

 

After the 50 lights, there were smaller groupings of orange lights that flew in "formation" overhead.

Around 50 Lights Seen Over Middlesbrough UK

Time:  Before midnight.

 

Hello, I think I may have recently spotted some very similar lights flying over Middlesbrough on Friday the 22nd of April. At first I believed them to be Chinese lanterns myself, but they were darting at some speed in a northerly direction without changing altitude and it went on for about an hour from just before midnight.

 

The strange thing being there was at least fifty of these lights and it looked like some of them were even moving in formation. I`m a psychology student at Teesside University so I tried to rationalize everything, this I couldn't explain.

 

I`m just curious if anyone else has came forward who has seen these lights because as of now it is just me and my girlfriend who think we are going mad.

UFO Travels 50 Feet Off The Water At Shabbona Lake State Park Shabbona Illinois

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside and seen what I thought was a Chinese fire kite thing. It didn't move at all for about 10 minutes and it was about 50 feet off water. It then started going slowly up.

 

At 100 feet I could see that it changed shape and had a red strobe on left and white on right. As it turned I could see it was all black, or dark color and turned into an arrow head shape.

 

There was no noise at all. It stayed about 100 feet above lake and headed north real slow and disappeared. I took 3 photos, but a crappy camera, so I guess I will wait and see. I'm a retired firefighter.

 

Past public safety LT for Melrose Park esda. I no what I saw, and it wasn't from this world.

Around 50 Bright Lights And The Thunder Of Jet Aircraft Over Burke Mountain Coquitlam British Columbia (Pictures)

Time Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Hi, I'm just wondering whether anyone else has reported to you any unusual activity in the skies above Burke Mountain last night at around 19:30hrs. I, my wife and daughter saw around 50 or so lights in formation appearing over the top of the mountain from the north and moved slowly towards Coquitlam.

They all very bright with no noise, probably at 2 to 3 thousand feet. Do you have any ideas and do you want any further info. We all found this to be very unusual, particularly as it was snowing and the lights appeared fairly low, Thanks.

Additional Information:

Brian, in addition to my last, the volume of objects took approximately 15 to 20 minutes to pass over head and then disappear into the clouds. We first saw the objects as we were driving up Lincoln Ave, facing Chelsea Park and the mountain. At that junction I was so surprised that I stopped the van in mid junction and got out to view.

I keep a pair of binoculars in the van so was able to get a better look. The objects were consistent with each other, emitting the same level of light and were the same size and shape. I had time to find my camera and took a couple a pictures, not brilliant, but do show a section of the lights. I will send them later once I get back to my computer. Also, some of the lights would stop and change direction.

Approximately an hour after the event I heard the rumble of very close jet aircraft overhead, perhaps the Air force? These made at least two passes. The nearest airport is Pitt Meadows and I'm sure I've never seen or heard such aircraft operate from there. Before. Hope this is useful, let me know if your contact at YVR can offer an explanation. They are in actual fact 1 to 2 seconds of digital camera video, not very good quality but you can just make out the lights above the tree line taken from my drive way. Its a new camera and for some reason it doesn't want to record more than a few seconds.

50 Lights Observed Over Neath UK

My sons and I live in Neath watched about 50 of these lights appear both behind our house and in front of us. They were everywhere. Constantly moving in the same direction! It’s new years day, we went out onto the driveway at midnight and they were everywhere. We watched them getting higher in the sky with no sound for about 30 minutes. I’m a man of science myself, but this was worth mentioning, anyone else see this.

About 50 Orange Red Lights Over South Of Tunbridge Wells UK (Picture)

Time: Late evening.

Hi, I live just south of Tunbridge Wells, not too far from Gatwick and just before midnight tonight I let my dog out before the fireworks were due to start for New Years Eve for her last pee of the day. I watched strange orange lights in the sky for about an hour as they flew one after the other in the same direction, with as many as 7 or 8 flying in formation.

I guess I saw about 50 in total over the period I watched from my kitchen door. I am used to seeing planes in a holding pattern waiting to land at Gatwick as I live on the flight path, but they flash red and green. These lights were orange with a bit of red and did not flash. Never ever seen anything like this before and don't want to ever again!

About 50 Orange Lights Over Glasgow Scotland

Time: Midnight.

On hogmany at midnight I noticed round 4 or 5 orange lights passing over the sky in a NW direction coming from the south. Some lights were brighter than others. The clusters appeared and their numbers grew into different formations. Most were travelling on their own or in pairs, some in a triangular formation. One group travelled with a bright light leading, one light in the middle and two lights following behind.

Now at about 1:00am they have come back and are returning in the south direction. They travelled as far as Castlemilk. I am in Glasgow, Scotland. there were about 50 of them. Around two years ago I saw a light lighting up the clouds. The light was white with feathered edges and moved in a certain triangular form. After creating the triangle shape, the lights would go off, then on and this repeated several times. I found your post while searching for these strange lights on Google.

50 To 60 Yellow Orange Glowing Objects Over Sudbury In Suffolk UK

Date: December 31, and after midnight January 1, 2011

Time: Evening and after midnight.

Hi Brian, I have just reported the ongoing incident to UFO Watch and can only hope they are a bone fide group.

It is marvelous to see these UFO's which are not planes and not lanterns. Through binoculars we could see these yellowy-orange glowing objects, had a bright orange flame-shaped center that reminds me very much of a hot air balloon, only the speed of these 50 - 60 UFO's were moving much too fast to be hot air balloons. They are not hot air balloons.

Each UFO came from one of 4 points around Sudbury in Suffolk, and every single one, without exception, were heading precisely for the same point ... moving towards Little Cornard - we assume the TV mast - but maybe going further - towards Hadleigh or Ipswich.

The first 2 were spotted at 4:30pm, a further 6 or 7 spotted around 10:15pm, and from 1 minute past midnight, when I went to check if Sudbury had let off any fireworks, we watched at least 50 - 60, and possibly even in excess of 100 UFO's, flying non-stop for at least 49 minutes, and then beyond. Some were brighter than others and one in particular took my breath away when I looked at it through binoculars. They are truly beautiful.

Above the golden flame like centre, there was a red transparent crown, everything in perfect proportion that only occasionally looked disc-shaped. However, many of them passed in what we assumed were groups of three, but which my mother instantly said she thought were not three, but 1 single UFO. They were clearly evenly spaced and remained so, moving speedily toward their destination in spite of the fact that there was no wind.

Still there were UFO's that passed over in 1's and 2's as well. As soon as my mother suggested that the three were one, I could see just what she meant and it reminded me of a huge UFO that hovered over my house several years ago when I lived in Little Cornard - though very different than these.

They feel like bearers of great Hope and Peace for the coming important year of our ever evolving species.

Hogmanay 2010: just after midnight tonight a mass if these orange lights went over Livingston. From the Bo'ness direction heading south east perhaps to Kirknewton area. Many lights and I'd estimate that I saw about 50.

40 To 50 Large Orange Objects Over Whitstable UK

Going on at the moment 40 to 50 seen so far over Whitstable, UK. There is no engine noise and some are going above the cloud cover. Some moving in a southerly direction, large objects moving rapidly, some in formation, but most singly. Very large orange glows, no discernable flashing lights look to be long objects or discs seen side on.

50 Plus Witnesses Watch Disc Shaped UFO Over Kahului Maui Hawaii

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was above my neighbors house, just hovering about 100 feet up. It was a round disc that was about 25 feet wide that had all different color lights around it, but what was funny is that it beamed a light upwards. For about 15 minutes everyone was trying to take a picture and no ones camera worked.

Some people thought it was the end of the world and started praying. All of a sudden it zoomed away at an incredible speed. Before it zoomed away, the clouds swirled around the UFO in this weird way. That part freaked me out. What's weird also it did not make any noise. We were the ones making noise.

This was in Kahului on One St. About 50 or more people saw this. I think people are not talking about it because they no like look crazy. My whole neighborhood couldn't have been tripping out, "we all saw the same thing!"

Hovering Lights In V Shape Over Hwy 50 Toward Brampton Ontario

Date: December 24, 2010

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Last night while driving home from work driving down Hwy 50 toward Brampton I noticed 2 stationary lights at about a 45 degree angle from each other. They were unusually bright and seemed to be pulsating. I initially thought they were aircraft lining up for landing, but realized after 10 minutes of them not moving that they were not fixed wing aircraft.

I continued south and noticed another light now appearing from the bottom of the last object about the same distance that the first two had. It grew to the same intensity and hovered in the same way.

They had a V shape pattern. Stunned I pulled over and watched this for another 15 minutes. The last object rapidly dropped and stopped then very slowly made it's way across to the west. The other two faded shortly after. Before they had faded and when I was a little closer I was able to see that the two lights at the top were pulsating and almost looked like something was spinning. With red, blue, and yellow very light colours and round in shape.

There was a ton of commercial air traffic in the area and I'm sure it must have been seen because I was able to see several commercial planes flying and then turning around these objects. I am around lots if aircraft all the time on a professional level and have never seen anything like this in my life. There were no strobes, no resemblance to any standard aircraft. Still amazed. Timeline was 7:00 pm December 24, 2010.

Around 50 Orange Lights Observed Over Glasgow Anniesland Scotland

Hi Brian, I felt compelled to write to you as I witnessed the very same thing early this morning around 12.45am, only I counted around 50 of these orange lights as I stood for about 10 minutes with some guy I stopped in the street! I was absolutely terrified and was shaking like crazy, I rushed home to see my mum. Have you heard anything further on this?

50 To 75 Orange Lights Seen Over Cottingley Bingley UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I went outside to watch the fireworks. We live on the side of a hill and had good views over the distance towns/fields. Suddenly we saw three orange lights coming across the horizon which we presumed to be light aircraft, however more kept coming over the hills in waves of two's and three's, sometimes we could see clusters of these lights. They seemed to be evenly spaced and mostly coming from the North heading Southwards.

This went on for about forty minutes. We did not hear any engine noises and they definitely weren't helicopters, although we did think they had slightly flashing lights. We could not make out any shapes even as they passed overhead.
