Gun Metal Grey Saucer Shaped UFO In The Sky Seen From The Beach At Kihei Maui Hawaii (Written Report/Audio Interview)

"The Vike Report"

Date: July 15, 1973
Time: Approximately 10:00 p.m.

Location: South of Azekas Place on the beach near Little Getty.
Approach Direction: South/west towards Eke Crater.
Departure Direction: North/east coming in 5 miles off the water.
Witness Direction: North/east approximately.

Description: When I first saw the object, I was lying on the beach in my sleeping bag. I looked up and out about 5 or so miles and saw this object a little bigger than a star.

It would be still for a few seconds and then shift to the right then make a beep sound, then wait and then repeat the shift to the right a few more times with a beep sound after each shift.

At this point I closed my eyes for a few seconds and could here inside my head a Morse code type sound pulsating real fast.

Then the object moved quickly towards my right side (north/east) then it hovered slowing turning from right to left just a little as it approached the shoreline.

I can't remember where the lights were placed, maybe front, back and middle but it was shaped like an upside-down saucer with a quarter round top.

It went behind the trees and I lost site of the object.

The next morning I talked to a friend that said she was down the beach around the same time I was, and we both interrupted each other to say "I saw a UFO on the beach last night"!

I asked her if she hear the sound from it as it shifted left to right?

She said no, she only heard the little waves breaking on the shore. For about three weeks after that encounter I felt full of a lot of extra energy that I never experienced before.

I play flute and after that encounter my flute playing improved surprisingly, especially my tone quality! I'm still amazed to this day.

Color/Shape: Gun metal grey with the full moon shinning off of it--the shape was of a upside down saucer with a quarter round top half the size of the saucer diameter

Height & Speed: 5-6 miles out and hard to say how high from the water. Hovering speed when it reach the shoreline was approximately 75 to 100 mph.

Fire Engulfed Object Over Baldwin Beach Maui

 

Date:  Summer through Winter of 1986

Time:  Late afternoon.

 

Hi, I was living at Baldwin Beach, summer thru winter of 86. One day, late afternoon we saw a huge fire engulfed object, maybe 1 thousand feet in the air. It was like a meteor, but flying level. At
least 10 people watched it sail over us.

 

We thought it would hit Haleakala. Instead it went upward and over the mountain. It came from over the ocean out from Baldwin over our heads towards Haleakala. Everyone felt that it climbed in altitude and went over the mountain.

 

I can’t remember what month it was.

Lights Over Keawe Kapu Beach Maui Hawaii

Green Beam Of Light Over Maui Mountains Hawaii

Date: September 21, 2011 ?

Time: Evening.

I read your short article. I had a customer four days ago in a nighttime outdoor business that commented to me they saw a green beam that came out of the west and over the Maui mountains and went up to the sky.

I asked if they were shooting down something, they said no and that it appeared to be going up.

They asked me what I was. I laughed because I had seen it also about a year ago on my late night drive home from work. Honestly I have never really talked to anyone about. I thought I was just tired after work. Clue me in if you know what it might be.

Neon Green Beam Of Light Over Maalaea Village Maui Hawaii

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Looking out on our ocean front balcony at 3:00am a neon green beam of light around 40 feet wide and reached from the ocean to the sky. The beam of light appeared quickly and was moving toward our condo and then quickly disappeared. This was witnessed by my husband who does not believe in UFO's.

The next morning he called the Coast Guard and the airport and talked to several people, but did not get an answer. No one knew what he was talking about. So now my husband thinks that maybe the navy was doing something and didn't want the public to know. What do you think?

Two Green Colored Flying Saucers Observed Over Kihei Maui Hawaii

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I haven't told many about this. It was ten years ago and this is my first official report of it. I was just off of work for the evening, rode my bike down to Kamaole II and lied down in the sand to listen to the waves and star gaze. After several minutes, directly overhead, I saw two distinct saucer-like objects.

They were green in color and I estimated them to be a mile high, though it is difficult to be sure. Initially, they moved in unison rather slowly, but at a steady rate, toward the north, perhaps half the length of the Kihei strip. Then they were still for about five seconds.

Then, and I will never forget the sight, they together took off in the direction of Lahaina and west Maui. They were a blur. I do not think human beings have made anything that can move like that. It forever changed my views on the subject matter.

50 Plus Witnesses Watch Disc Shaped UFO Over Kahului Maui Hawaii

Date: December 18, 2010

Time: 9:08 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Kahului, Maui, Hawaii.

Shape of Objects: Round disc.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was above my neighbors house, just hovering about 100 feet up. It was a round disc that was about 25 feet wide that had all different color lights around it, but what was funny is that it beamed a light upwards. For about 15 minutes everyone was trying to take a picture and no ones camera worked.

Some people thought it was the end of the world and started praying. All of a sudden it zoomed away at an incredible speed. Before it zoomed away, the clouds swirled around the UFO in this weird way. That part freaked me out. What's weird also it did not make any noise. We were the ones making noise.

This was in Kahului on One St. About 50 or more people saw this. I think people are not talking about it because they no like look crazy. My whole neighborhood couldn't have been tripping out, "we all saw the same thing!"

UFO Heads Towards Mountain At Haliimaile Maui Hawaii

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home from work with my children. My daughter who is 5 says,"mommy, why is there something making a line in the sky?" I looked and saw a white circle-ish object moving across the sky towards Haleakala crater going really fast with a contrail behind it.

At first I thought it was a plane and told her that. But it was just too weird of a shape. Then it began making a downwards movement and heading straight towards the mountain. I started freaking out and thought it was a missile. I watched as it flew down and went right into the mountain.

I was waiting for a crash or fire or something, but there was nothing. I noticed that the clouds were really weird after that. They turned a darkish color and were covering the whole mountain.

UFO Observed From Haiku Maui Hawaii

Date: November 1986

Time: Approx: 3:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: We were staying Haiku Maui the light appeared to be between us and Haleakala.

Shape of Objects: Ovoid, it looked like a street light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were living in Haiku, Maui in 1986. One night I woke to my baby crying about 3:00am. I stood by the crib at the window looking out and up the mountain as I had many times before. The roads and houses stop at some point and you have timber line as Haleakala climbs upward and you can see the layers of distance. This was a clear night and I noticed a very bright light in an otherwise dark mountain shape.

It caught my interest as I had never noticed it before. I tried to discern what it could be. My first thought was, when and why did they put a light out there in the middle of nowhere in an uninhabited area? It looked like a street light, the same shape, the same brightness, the with the same aurora around it.

If it were just down the street from me, but It wasn't. It was much, much further away, miles away. I then thought it must be huge! If it was a very distant street light, it would have been much smaller. I was confused. I studied it more. I compared it to the more normal lights and activity closer to me. I could not think where it could be, there was no road or housing lots where it appeared to be.

It did not seem to be attached to the ground, but it wasn't moving and it was just sort of there. It couldn't be a street light, maybe a very large, not moving aircraft, but I had no other choice, nothing seemed quite right. OK, I'm not a kook, (sleep deprived maybe, but not a kook,) there had to be a rational explanation I was not coming to. Yes there was a light, it was between me and the slope of the mountain, in a place it should not have been, it was the wrong size and brightness to be that far away and the wrong size and brightness to be closer.

It didn't move or blink, it wasn't a plane like any I had seen before. I remember thinking to be that big and that bright, it must be quite large, but I still had no explanation.
I woke my husband.

Together we stood looking at this light with nothing that made any sense, forthcoming. After about 15 minutes of my watching and wondering, 'what the heck' and as we stood there together gazing out the window, in a speed faster than my blink, the light moved from it's holding position across the silhouette of the mountain and was gone.

I have never experienced a jet aircraft move that fast. It was not a light being turned off, it moved out of sight in the blink of an eye. To this day I have no explanation, and I don’t know what it means, but I know what I saw. Has it changed my life? No But I will never forget. Maybe you have heard from someone who also saw this and have the answer as to what it was. It was large, bright, silent and indescribably fast.
