UFO Three Times Larger Than The Moon Seen From The South Carolina State Prison

Date:  1999
Time:  Evening.

I worked at a South Carolina State Prison back in 1999 and seen something kind of similar to what you described.

I was circling the perimeter of the prison one night, and as I came around one corner, I seen an object that looked like the largest moon I had ever seen in my life.

It looked about three times bigger than the moon when it's closest to the Earth. I stopped the truck and just looked at it, with tears streaming down my face.

I sped around to where another officer was on a post and I took a pair of their binoculars and drove back around to where I seen it, but it was gone. I wish I had stayed a while longer to watch it leave, but I didn't.

I'll always regret that. Sorry it wasn't in the same area as your sighting as you had asked, but I just had to comment on that.

Object/UFO Was LED Bright White Seen Flying Over Charlotte North Carolina

Date:  Fall of 2013 (October or first part of November)
Time:  Approximately 5:00 p.m.

Hello, my name is (name removed). Today I was searching in my "favorites" and ran across your article, apparently I had saved it. I must tell you I don't remember doing so.

I will however tell you, that I have been bothered by the fact that I have seen the exact LED white ball you described seeing in 2012.

I live near Charlotte, North Carolina and it was about 5:00 p.m. I was standing on my back porch, smoking a cigarette and watching from a 10-15 mile distance (as the crow flies) all of the planes flight patterns as they  were coming into, and leaving Charlotte.

Just kind of gazing into the sky. All of the sudden, this huge, I'd say bigger than the moon, LED bright white perfectly round ball appeared a little above the distant tree line and it just hung there for, I'd say ten seconds and then it just started descending slowly from the sky and then it just was gone.

Like everyone else, I really thought I was going to hear an explosion, but there was nothing. Just the commercial airplanes flying in the sky all in the same area of sky as what I had just witnessed.

I have often spoken of this experience to my husband of 31 years and my children. I often look out my porch, hoping to see this occurrence again, but never have.

I witnessed this the Fall of 2013, I'd say the month of October or first part of November.

I am writing you to let you know that I also join, I guess, the select few that have seen this strange phenomena and wonder if you have ever found out what it is.

Bill Foster’s - Black Triangle UFO Sighting And Alien Abduction In Yadkinville North Carolina (Audio Interview)

Date:  November 16, 1996
Time:  11:00 p.m.

It began on November 16, 1996 with an 11:00 p.m. sighting of a massive black triangle just outside of Yadkinville, North Carolina.

There were four of us in our Camry and we saw this slow-moving, silent, triangular shadow, pass directly over the hood of our car, just 100 feet above us.

Then vector off to our left, over a small knoll and out of sight. The sighting lasted only seven minutes in total.

It made no sound yet felt oddly oppressive, if only from the gigantic size of the craft. The sky was pitch black on a moonless, cloudless, starry and very cold night.

We could tell it was a triangle from the red glowing/pulsing lights on all three corners and by looking down the sides and seeing stars outside the straight line and only blackness, underneath the body of the ship. It was both eerie and awesome.

We could not see the top and could not clearly see the bottom - only blackness.

We kept the sighting quiet for four months.

6 Orange Colored Lights/Flames In The Sky Over Greenville South Carolina (Picture)

I saw your ad on the internet. On Saturday evening approximately 6:15 p.m., my wife and I observed 6 orange lights which seemed to be some sort of aircraft.

They were headed northwest. We were near exit 40 on interstate 85 in Greenville, South Carolina.

Seemed at first to be low flying, but as they passed over seemed to be higher in altitude and all flew into a cloud cover.

No strobe lights. Looked like orange flames. I have attached a picture where two are seen.

Orange Lights/Objects And Some In V Formation Over Charlotte North Carolina

Date:  December 25, 2014
Time:  Evening.

Hi, I saw from an internet search that people have seen orange fireballs flying over Charlotte, North Carolina in the past and you asked people to report to you similar sightings.

Last night, 12/25/14, there were 5 of us sitting outside in our hot tub looking at the stars and saw a series of large orange fireballs fly in formation over the southern part of Charlotte.

They flew in straight lines with a number of them flying in a V formation. This went on for at least 10 minutes. The amazing part, which I have not seen reported before, is they would suddenly go dark and drop something out of them and then start glowing bright orange again.

The items dropped seemed to be like parachutes that floated to the ground. We didn’t have a camera near the hot tub and didn’t want to go look for what was dropped.

We don’t think they were Chinese lanterns because they flew at a constant speed, constant height, were in formations and were much larger than Chinese lanterns we are aware of.

They also weren’t planes or drones because they clearly had a bright orange glow like they were on fire. We thought maybe they were special skydiving planes and the items dropped were actually nighttime skydivers.

The problem is they didn’t land in the same location and did not drop at the same time. I reported this to the local newspaper, but so far have heard nothing in return.

Anyway, we were all fascinated by it.

Unknown Lights Observed From Sunset Beach North Carolina

 Date:  December 15, 2014
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I was doing some night metal detecting on Sunset Beach, NC tonight around 7:30 p.m.

I kept an eye on the sky to look for meteors and saw a couple of planes way up in the sky.

Then over the ocean, low in the sky I saw 2 white lights that I first thought was another low flying plane, but they weren't moving.

Then the clouds covered them up, and I went back to detecting, assuming the lights were just an airplane.

Then a couple that was out walking on the beach, came running over to me and asked if I saw the UFOs!

They said they see them from time to time, and called them orbs. We discussed the lights for while and I told them I had also seen similar lights on North Myrtle Beach this past summer, in the middle of a thunderstorm and lightning flashes at sea.

Four Orange Lights/Objects Seen Flying Over Oak Island North Carolina

Date:  August 8, 2014
Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hi!  My name is (name removed) and I live in Grifton, NC. My family has a beach cottage at Oak Island on the west end. On Friday night (08/08/14), my husband and I were walking on the beach and met a couple who were fishing.

They told us about the orange lights. I really didn’t think that much about it, but when we got back to the cottage (around 10:00 p.m.), I happened to walk out to my car and looked up at the sky. I saw one orange light (no sound), traveling fairly slow, then it disappeared.

This was followed by another orange light, same thing, no sound, and then it disappeared. Finally, two orange lights traveling side by side appeared, disappearing within 10 seconds or so.

I waited to see if I saw anything else, but that was it. I was so amazed! Now, I will definitely be watching the next time we go to Oak Island!

Formation Of Four Round Silent Orange Lights/Objects Over Marion North Carolina

Date:  September 20, 2014
Time:  8:30 - 8:45 p.m.

My wife and I were outside at approximately 8:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. tonight, September 20, 2014.  We saw a formation of four round globes flying silently in a square formation from the north to the southeast.

As we watched, three continued in that direction while one appeared to travel straight up and then disappear.  A few minutes later three appeared from the same direction traveling from north to southeast.

Two more appeared from the same direction and having the same trajectory.  There were no identifying colors, just a steady orange glow.

This is the third time we've witnessed this phenomenon/military event. The first time was New Year's 2014. The flight pattern was the same as tonight.

The second time was July 2014. We saw patterns of five, two, and five flying from the north to the southwest in the direction of Rutherford County, NC.

One left the first pattern of five heading due west toward Black Mountain and Asheville.

All movements are slow and deliberate and silent.  Don't know what's going but we would like to know what's going on in our sleepy little neck of the woods.

Orange Fireballs Seen Flying Over High Point North Carolina

Time:  8:45 p.m.

My sister, husband and I were driving into my sister's driveway after dinner at 8:45 p.m. tonight (September 20, 2014) and there was an orange ball of fire coming from the north.

We thought it was a plane that had an engine on fire. However, there was no noise. As we were watching, a 2nd ball of fire came in sight. Then first one turned east, as if it were in a flight pattern.

However, the 2nd one turned east at the same time. It looked like the 2nd one was desending fast and we waited to see if we would hear/see a crash. Then, both were gone.

We went online to see if anyone else saw it and found this blog. It is eerie how similar our experience was to others on this post.

Frightened Hunters Watch Lights Circling In The Sky Otto North Carolina

Date:  August 31, 2014
Time:  Evening.

Me and my friend were out hunting tonight in Otto, North Carolina for coyotes. We were set up in the edge of the woods under some big trees.

We began to hear the coyotes getting loud behind us, so we decided to make a move and get closer. We came out of the tree line and immediately the lights caught my eye.

I turned to my friend and showed him and asked if he had seen that before, since it is his land and he was very awestruck by seeing this and we decided to get the heck out of where we were because they were right over top of us.

So we got into his side by side and drove through his field to a gravel road about 500 yards away so we could,

1 be closer to the road in case we had to get out of there because we were quite frankly scared shitless, and 2 so we could get a better view to figure out what was going on.

As soon as we got to the road we were astonished to see the 4 lights had moved. They were in one place, and now they over a totally different area of land!

Not only that, but they were making much bigger circles in the sky and moving a lot faster than before. The way they were moving was going in big circles and then meeting in the middle and it looked like bouncing off of each other and repeating for a while and then the lights would slightly change pattern.

We watched for about 45 minutes all the time thinking of possible answers, aircraft, no. They covered too much area, too fast and got way to close together in the middle.

Lights from the ground maybe? No, like with a strong flashlight it emits a beam of light that you can trace, but was there one for these? No sir! You can go on and on with possible explanations, but they would be more than likely proved wrong.

Oh and one more crazy thing happened is that every single lightening bug was lit up and laying on the ground. Not one was in the air. So anyone that wants to challenge this statement go right on ahead, but you were not here.

Bright fiery orange round object was hovering above my house, heading towards three black parachute like objects that then floated downward.

4 Lights Observed Flying Over Oak Island North Carolina

Just saw 4 of these lights. First 2 side by side, then each slowly ascended, disappeared. Within 1 minute, 2 more lights slowly came up over tree tops to approximately same location and did same as first two. Interesting!

Bright Pulsating Orange Lights Over Holly Springs Wake County North Carolina

While walking in Holly Springs this evening around 8:45 p.m. I saw three very bright pulsating orange lights. At first we thought they were planes, but they seemed to be to large for planes.

The one to the far left disappeared and the the other two simply faded away. There is not a cloud a cloud in the sky,

Huge Fireball Swirl Sky Over Awendaw Charleston County South Carolina

I am here in Awendaw, SC staying right on the bay off of Come About Way and See Wee Road. I have been fishing all week while on vacation. This past Thursday night it was cloudy and it was around 10:00 p.m.

As I was looking off up into the sky opposite of Bull's Island and saw a huge fireball swirl in the sky. No tail, no movement. It formed from the center and disintegrated in seconds.

I Googled it this morning because it was strange and I haven't seen anything like it before and I didn't even mention it to my family yet. What do you know about this?

Green Blue Red Light Moves In A Erratic Fashion Over Wilmington North Carolina

 

Date:  April 20, 2012

Time:  8:35 p.m.

 

I am in Wilmington, NC and my fiancé and I have witnessed lights in the sky on two occasions now. We're not sure of the previous date, but it was between 2-4 weeks ago in the south east portion of the sky on our drive home.

 

The road was tree lined and I noticed a neon green and neon blue light through the trees to the east. I didn't say anything because I thought I was tired, but the other cars in front of me started slowing down and it appeared that they had seen it as well.

 

When I finally said something to my fiancé, a neon green light came over the road ahead of us and went down below our line of sight on the opposite side. The lights did not appear to be orbital in shape, but linear.

 

They did not appear to leave a light trail and were moving in a downward swooping motion. We saw them again at 8:35 p.m. on 4/20/12. I was on our patio, again facing east-southeast and they came in the same direction over the tree line.

 

I was on the phone with my father at the time and being that he grew up in the area, he's used to military aircraft passing through on a daily basis. What I saw this evening was an additional light of red.

 

One linear object with green, blue, and red light. It appears to be fairly close to the ground and not within normal airspace. It moves in a similar fashion to that of a kite.

 

For awhile we discussed as to whether or not some college kids had figured out how to add neon onto a kite, but there was little to no wind to support our kite theory.

 

The way it hovers and moves slowly and then can swoop around in an erratic fashion, it looks just like a kite on a good day at the beach. Each time we feel we have been close to it, yet there's no sound whatsoever.

 

I've been looking on the internet for other possible sightings and a couple of places keep dismissing it as Venus. I can also see Venus from my patio and just like every other night, it appears white and was visible further south-southwest at the same time as I was seeing the lights.

12 To 15 Red/Orange Colored Lights Over Six Mile South Carolina

At 11:00 p.m. 4/13/12 . I went out on my front porch and seen moving east to west 12 to 15 red orange lights in sky.

 

They moved the same speed, but some moved up and down also. There was no sounds and they were close to ground. Really cool but kind of surreal also.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was watching what I thought was an ordinary satellite traveling due north in the clear night sky. Not much larger than a star and dim as they usually are.

 

I have seen many of these through the years so thought nothing of it.

It suddenly became the largest and brightest object in the sky for 2-3 seconds. The spot it was grew to be many times longer than it was, looked like a long streak of ultra bright light.

 

It accelerated rapidly and disappeared.

Helicopter Chasing Two Glowing Blue Cigar Shaped UFOs Over Knightdale North Carolina

 

Date:  March 14, 2012

Time:  12:00 a.m.

 

Hi, I live in Knightdale, NC and just saw something very strange (03-14-12). I was watching TV at exactly 12:00 a.m. and heard a very, very loud sound of a helicopter, so loud that I felt the need to go outside and investigate.

 

When I went outside I saw a helicopter approaching my neighborhood at a very high speed, it was like it was giving it all it had.

 

I continued to watch it, and as it flew right over my house I was able to see 2 cigar shaped objects that were glowing blue with what looked like red lights at their tails, the helicopter was flying very close behind as if it were chasing them!

 

I was only able to see the UFOs for about 10 - 20 seconds as they were passing over my house, then they seemed to vanish! 

 

Although I was able to see the helicopter's lights at a distance way before and after passing over my home.

I have no idea what I just experienced, but felt the need to share it with someone who may appreciate/or shed some light on what I am experiencing. Thanks.
