Large Bright Green Object/Light Seen Flying In The Sky From Coquitlam To Vancouver British Columbia

Date:  February 18, 2015
Time:  Evening.

Hello, I was driving home last night and a block away from my house a very big bright body of green light caught my eye up in the sky.

It was moving extremely fast in the sky. Much too fast to be any kind of jet or plane. It was high up like a plane descending into Vancouver airport from Coquitlam, British Columbia area except it was much larger than a plane and it's entirety was bright green, the same green as a light at an intersection.

It was moving southwest. I wish I would have stopped my car and taken a picture or a video, but I was kind of in shock as to what I was seeing. Within ten seconds it was behind clouds.

When you see a plane that's high up and how it appears to be moving slow because it's so far away, well this was moving about 100x faster than that.

It was covering the sky at an extremely fast pace.

I found your site and thought I would report it to you. Thanks.

7 Orange Colored Lights Seen Flying Over Burke Mountain Coquitlam British Columbia

Date:  January 1, 2005
Time:  12:00 a.m.

I am sure this is not the only report you will get of this, but just now on New Years night I went outside my front balcony to see the fireworks.

We have a view property and can see from Golden Ears all the way past Baker.

Anyway, as the fireworks were going off everywhere, seven lights appeared flying from behind Golden Ears towards our house.

There was no sound and the color of the light was orange, and just disappeared one by one.

I grabbed my binoculars and had a close look, but all I saw was light.

How do you explain this, I would be very surprised if this was not a well reported sighting as it was right out there.

Additional Information:

They appeared over Burke Mountain headed south.

An eyewitness said he was out having a cigarette when out of the corner on his eye he spotted a triangular craft with a point of light on each of the tips of the UFO  which was traveling over the 401 Freeway.

He went on to say it was fast and silent and he never heard any sound coming from it.

In the audio interview, detail is provided about what was seen by the eyewitness. (Audio Below)

Red And Orange Objects That Looked On Fire Over Coquitlam British Columbia

Date:  April 19 and the 21, 2011
Time:  Evenings.

First off, I'd like to say that I don't believe in UFO's, but I have no explanation for what happened, and after a bit of research I found your blog. This is the second time it's happened in the past two days.

On Tuesday, my family saw a glowing red orb (?) in the sky. I personally didn't see it, so I thought they were just mistaking it for something else.

Tonight, however, I was looking out my window and saw something odd. There were three glowing lights, they almost looked like they were on fire, in the sky. At first I thought they were helicopters due to the fact that beside/behind the glowing light, was a smaller, hard to see light.

Almost like the light that's on the tail of a helicopter. But these made no noise, and seemed to be over a well populated area of Coquitlam. One was hovering still, doing nothing. Another was going no discernable direction, it kept turning and whatnot.

The other seemed to be going in a straight line, headed in our direction. They weren't that high in the sky because it's cloudy outside, and nothing was obstructing our view. The one that was hovering completely vanished within a few minutes.

The second one faded out of sight, it seemed to go up higher until we couldn't see it anymore.  The third continued on it's course for many minutes until is the trees in our backyard obstructed our view.

I have no idea what they were. I'm a very logical person, and anything I think they could have been, don't fit.

If it were a flair, they wouldn't have lasted so long in the sky, and they wouldn't have been in the sky at the same time. If it was some light source floating in the air, they would have all gone the same way due to wind.

They couldn't be helicopters because they made no noise.  It couldn't have been a remote controlled flying machine because two just simply disappeared.

Also, this part isn't that important, but when trying to photograph them, they didn't show up in the pictures.

Take of this what you will.  Hopefully someone will come up with a logical answer that fits, but for now I'm just baffled.

I was driving down by river view in Coquitlam, British Columbia and I seen the round red shape ball or something flying by me. It was about the same height as a plane, but it was not. I love UFO stuff and I do believe and tell you this much as I seen something and I got a good look.

I just needed to find someone who had maybe seen the same thing and I looked and I seen your your report online, so I started to kind of trip out. My name is (name removed) and the time of this  sighting was at around 1:00 a.m. Saturday April 30.

Approximately 28 To 34 Orange Lights Observed Over Coquitlam British Columbia

Date: February 26, 2011
Time: Approx: 7:21 p.m.

Hello Mr. Vike, I wanted to ask if anyone else had observed approximately 28-34 orange lights in the sky last night around 19:21hrs. The lights were evenly spaced and were observed in a two-line formation traveling quite quickly for approximately 10 minutes.

I had taken photos with my phone whilst standing on the street in Coquitlam, B.C. Thank you.

A Vike Factor Note: I have posted another report over this same sighting, you can read this at: http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/2011/02/around-50-bright-lights-and-thunder-of.html

Around 50 Bright Lights And The Thunder Of Jet Aircraft Over Burke Mountain Coquitlam British Columbia (Pictures)

Date: February 26, 2011
Time Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Hi, I'm just wondering whether anyone else has reported to you any unusual activity in the skies above Burke Mountain last night at around 19:30hrs. I, my wife and daughter saw around 50 or so lights in formation appearing over the top of the mountain from the north and moved slowly towards Coquitlam.

They all very bright with no noise, probably at 2 to 3 thousand feet. Do you have any ideas and do you want any further info. We all found this to be very unusual, particularly as it was snowing and the lights appeared fairly low, Thanks.

Photo View: You can view a larger version of the picture to the left by clicking on it.

Additional Information:

Brian, in addition to my last, the volume of objects took approximately 15 to 20 minutes to pass over head and then disappear into the clouds. We first saw the objects as we were driving up Lincoln Ave, facing Chelsea Park and the mountain. At that junction I was so surprised that I stopped the van in mid junction and got out to view.

I keep a pair of binoculars in the van so was able to get a better look. The objects were consistent with each other, emitting the same level of light and were the same size and shape. I had time to find my camera and took a couple a pictures, not brilliant, but do show a section of the lights. I will send them later once I get back to my computer. Also, some of the lights would stop and change direction.

Photo View: You can view a larger version of the picture to the left by clicking on it.

Approximately an hour after the event I heard the rumble of very close jet aircraft overhead, perhaps the Air force? These made at least two passes. The nearest airport is Pitt Meadows and I'm sure I've never seen or heard such aircraft operate from there. Before. Hope this is useful, let me know if your contact at YVR can offer an explanation. Thanks.

Brian, as promised please see attached documents. They are in actual fact 1 to 2 seconds of digital camera video, not very good quality but you can just make out the lights above the tree line taken from my drive way. Its a new camera and for some reason it doesn't want to record more than a few seconds.
