Huge UFO With Multicolored Lights On Bottom Makes Thunderous Sound Outside Of McAlester Oklahoma

Date:  Summer of 1975

In 1975, not sure exactly what month, a friend of mine and I, along with our then girlfriends, had gone to McAlester, Oklahoma to pick up a couple of Bentwood furniture chairs for my girlfriend's mom and dad.

Since my girlfriends pickup only had room for three, my friend and I sat in the back. It was a beautiful clear summer night. After picking up the chairs, my friend and I were sitting in them as we drove back to Ada, Oklahoma. A few miles west of McAlester, I observed a very bright white light back to the south, in the general direction of the Naval depot.

We were just entering a very hilly area, and after watching this light for several minutes, we went behind a hill and lost sight of it. It was too high in the air to be an airplane, since there were no lights on the wings, and it seemed to be getting closer and closer.

When we passed from behind the hill, we were amazed to see that the aircraft was going to pass directly over us at a height of about 300 to 400 feet or so. By this time, there were other lights that were visible, white lights on each side and several colors of lights on the bottom.

My friend and I knew it was no airplane by this time, and after watching this very large craft pass directly over us, we started banging on the truck to try to get them to stop. We were able to get their attention and pulled to the side of the road.

The strange thing as the craft passed over us, there was absolutely no sound coming from the craft. Just about the time the truck pulled to the side, the craft, now well across the road and over the pasture, let loose a thunderous noise like we were on a runway next to a jet taking off.

It was so loud you could even feel it. I know that doesn't make sense, but that is the only way I can describe it. At this time we were still able to see the craft, and it made a 90 degree turn, and moved off slowly towards the west, and never made another sound.

We eventually lost sight of it. We were both excited and terrified at the same time. There was no traffic at all on the road, and the pickup was dark maroon and had very, very weak lights. I believe we only saw one semi for the next five to ten miles and there were no cars on that stretch of highway but us.

We finally continued our trip of another 40-50 miles and didn't see anything else until we were about 20 miles from Ada, and a red light appeared in the sky a few miles behind us.

It followed us all the way to Ada, and then we lost it in the city lights. I had to drive several miles out into the country where I lived, and to tell you the truth, I was scared to death. All I could think of was that they knew we had seen them.

Evidently they had bigger things to worry about, and 40 years later, I have never seen anything like this, nor had any other sightings or encounters of any kind. But I know what we saw, and so does my friend, and 40 years later, as far as I know, there is still no aircraft in the world with multicolored lights on the bottom, as long as a football field and just as wide, that can make 90 degree turns and fly with no noise at all.

I just happened to see that Project Bluebook was released on line today, and just typed in 1975 sightings near Macalester, OK, and found your link.

What I saw may have been whatever created the lights you saw as it was leaving the area of the naval depot. Whatever it was, it could not have been from this world, unless our military was much more advanced in 1975 than anyone knew.

UFO Observed And Filmed Over Yukon Oklahoma (Pictures)

Time: 11:45 to 12:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I recently was out in my back yard with a cup of coffee, and noticed something moving, then stopped and hovered for about 30 seconds, so I went back in and grabbed our Sony cybershot digital cam and got a picture of it (lower right) UFO?

My wife thinks it's a plane, but I told her you should have seen it's movement, It flew off really fast and was out of sight!

I was home from work this last Tuesday, 9-30-03, the time was about 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., not quite sure.

When I first noticed it, it was just hovering and slowly moving sideways a bit, just west of our house, maybe about 5-8 miles and I would say somewhere between 2000 to 5000 feet.

Not sure, when I rushed back outside with my cam, it flew off after 10 or so seconds, in a north, northeast direction (there is also a small airport in that direction too) very high velocity also, in a few seconds it was gone!

This is the second time I have captured something strange on film, the other time, I caught on film what looked like a B1b Bomber at high altitude, but I never saved it though.

If I would have thought of it at the time, I would have put the cam on record, it takes short 30 sec videos, oh well.

Military MP Relates UFO Sighting Over The McAlester Oklahoma Munitions Depot

Full Description of event/sighting: I was an MP at McAlester navel depot, I was patrolling in a 1/2 ton pickup, when I went into one of the bunkers which was covered in ground and grass over a concrete locked door, we had to make sure the locks where secured on the bunkers and you could drive threw like a tunnel.

The truck stopped and I could not get the radio to work or the truck to start.

So I had to walk to a call station which looked like a phone on a telephone booth with a gray box, as I picked up the phone, I glanced back and upward, it was getting dark or dark can't remember, and there was a red flashing light.

I thought it was a tower light flashing which was not unusual at the time.

But then it moved at high rate of speed, 500 or thousands miles per hour, moving from the still position to a south east direction then to south west direction then back to the start position, that's when I contacted the head quarters.

They sent another patrol out to pick me up and the officer of the day checked the airport and there where no airplanes or any traffic out at the time.

Then there where more reports coming in all the time. There where reports of lights being beamed down on the bunkers from other patrols.

As I was getting discharged I had heard that the army was taking over the base.

Fireball With A Green Tail Spotted Over Blair Oklahoma

It was moving really slow at first, and then with a blink of an eye it went really fast and then kind of looked like it burned out and disappeared towards the north.

Lights In A Triangular Formation Over Edmond Oklahoma

I have seen something very similar, but it was probably about 20 years ago in Edmond, Oklahoma. There is a slight variation in my encounter, however. There were three 'stars' in a triangle formation, yet these stars all moved in toward one central point.

 

Once all three stars reached the center, they instantly darted back toward their initial points of origin faster than anything we had ever seen. There were three of us who witnessed this.

 

Tonight I mentioned this occurrence to a group I of friends, and one person said they witnessed the same thing at about the same point in history. We could have witnessed the same event, or similar. This is what prompted us to search for similar events, and end up here.

Two Cylindrical UFO Close On One Another Over Texas/Oklahoma Border In Northeast Texas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home from Church on Easter Sunday night April 24th, 2011 on a desolate Farm to Market Road in Texas to Oklahoma where I reside. There is never hardly any traffic day or night on this Farm to Market Road.

The night was exceptionally clear and the stars were shining bright when I noticed this very bright star or at least that is what I perceived in the east, as I was driving east, but it suddenly dawned on me, that it was moving.

I eventually pulled my vehicle off to the side of the road, so get a better look, well this object came to a standstill and I could see it had red, green, yellow and white lights on it and it showed to be cylindrical in shape.

I just happened to glance to my left which faced north and I saw another object coming towards the other object that was at a standstill and it pulled up close to the other object and it had the same color lights on top and it showed that it was cylindrical in shape as well and it came to a standstill also. I could tell there was a space between the two objects.

I looked at my watch and it was 10:15 p.m. 5 minutes, after the second object stopped by the other one, I saw a bright red light proceed to the original object and it looked like how someone would roll out a "Red Carpet" as it was very wide. In my mind I thought this could be a laser of some kind.

Once this "Red Carpet" scenario took place within another 5 minutes as I looked at my watch again as it was 10:20 p.m., I saw what looked liked "black dots" or images moving on this "Red Carpet" toward the first object and this proceeded for 10 minutes and then the "black dots" or whatever stopped and I noticed my watch again and it was 10:30 p.m..

At 10:35 p.m. this "Red Carpet" whatever started to retract back toward the second object. At 10:45 p.m., the first object, started to move sideways and then lifted up and turned south and sped away at a high rate of speed and simply vanished. I definitely saw that it was cylindrical then for sure.

At 10:50 p.m. the second object turned sideways and lifted up and shot at a high rate of speed back to the north whence it had come from and it vanished and I definitely could tell it was cylindrical also. I am a stickler for keeping up with time!.

Whatever I saw that Easter Sunday night of April 24th, 2011 was very strange indeed as I do not know if this second object was making a transfer of some sort to the first object or what it was doing.

I have not told anyone about this incident, as I did not want to be classified as a "nutcase" but I felt like I needed to share with you about this strange observation and whether you publish this or not, does not matter to me as I am not out for publicity and
I do not drink or do drugs of any kind.

I have however thought of this incident many times since and I have wondered what these two cylindrical objects were up too and how they left at a high rate of speed and simply vanished.

Then a couple more minutes there was another one. They stayed at the same altitude the whole time they were in sight.

Silver Colored UFO Shoots Straight Up And Gone Over Seminole Oklahoma

Time: Approx: 7:45 p.m.

My name is (name removed) and I live in Seminole, Oklahoma, at about 7:45pm my sister and I and her friend were sitting on the trampling in our back yard when I happened to look up and notice a bright silver orb of some sort, which just seemed to be just hovering in one place.

When I told my sister to go get the binoculars, before she could return I watched it just disappear. It was not going east or west, or north or south, but straight up and gone.

I have never seen anything like it. We told our mother and she said they reported the same thing on the news. I was so amazed at this, but couldn't explain it. I do not believe we are alone, that would be really small minded to think that we are the only form of life that exist out here in this huge universe.

Objects Look Like Giant Roman Candle Over Weatherford Oklahoma

Sometime between 9:30 and 10:00pm last night 3/23/11 my son and nephew were outside and saw what they described to be giant roman candle looking lights. They said they saw two of them.

They shot down out of the sky and then just disappeared. There was about 10 minutes between them seeing each one. They of course ran into the house to tell everyone and no one believed them. We live about 10 miles north of Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Huge Triangle UFO Near McAlester Oklahoma (Diagrams)

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, I hope all is well with you. I was traveling south on 69/75 taking a short cut from Missouri to Texas and avoiding the toll roads.

The weather was clear and the skies were lit up with star light.

I first noticed a single red light in the sky, but at first thought it to be the lights that mark the many metal towers that dot the landscape there until I realized it was increasing in size.

In a few seconds it was obvious that the thing was headed right for me and the other vehicles on the road.

The color of red was unusual and it was pulsating. I slowed my car to about 45 mph and watched as it grew in size then revealed the color of green, then the shape became clear, a triangle.

As it passed over me I witnessed the incredible detail of it. The green was the running lights on the underside away from but along all three sides, but they did not meet at the three corners.

The color of the craft was a dull silver and in the center was this amazing globe of red, pulsating light.

The red globe took up most of the underside of this thing, and it looked as if it were not solid but some type of gas that swirled with a strange pattern, the only way I can think to describe the pattern would be that of a rose that were just opening, the petals still tightly grouped.

I estimate that it glide over me at an altitude of about 3,000 feet.

The shape was longer than wider maybe twice the length of a commercial plane flying at that same altitude. It was Big.

As it approached and I could see that it was more than just a ball of light it looked as if it gently tilted one side to the other as if banking ever so slightly.

Once it passed over head and was in back of me the details of the craft disappeared and eventually became just a pulsating globe of red light for miles.

It glided above the road, following the curves in the road heading north almost as if it were there to be seen.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While driving east on highway 51B out of Porter, OK, my girlfriend and I saw a humanoid-shaped figure run across the road in front of the truck. It was approximately 3 feet tall and clear, similar to the predator on the movie "Predator." I was born and raised in this area and have never seen anything like this. It appeared that I could only see the figure because of the precipitation. This may sound strange, but we know what we saw.

Conditions: Dark, slight precipitation (sprinkling), driving 60mph, low beams.

They sent another patrol out to pick me up and the officer of the day checked the airport and there where no airplanes or any traffic out at the time. Then there where more reports coming in all the time. There where reports of lights being beamed down on the bunkers from other patrols. As I was getting discharged I had heard that the army was taking over the base.
