Today at 10:05 a.m. I was traveling southbound on Highway 280, just north of the 380 interchange when I noticed a very large glowing orb. Drivers around me were putting on their brakes as we watched the glowing ball of light burn brightly to our left, near the ground, just south of SFO.
It lasted about 7 seconds, and then disappeared. It must have been at least a couple thousand feet in diameter. It was big and perfectly round, like a globe. odd. C. Luce, Daly City
