Oshawa, Ontario A Circle Of Lights In The Night Sky

Date: October 3, 2009
Time: 12:15 a.m.

It was late in the evening, my wife was letting the dog out for the last time that night. She woke me up because she wanted to show me something strange in the sky. It had rained that day and it was still very cloudy. We looked up into the sky in a south easterly direction, at about 70 degrees above the horizon and there was what appeared to be a circle of lights. There was four of them and they would start in the middle as one, split into four radiate outwards and create a complete 360 degree circle. Once that circle was complete they would reform in the centre again then repeat this all over again. We watched for at least fifteen minutes and it never moved.

I have no idea how big it was but it had to be at least a couple of miles wide. I know this wasn't spot lights because there was no light going from the earth to the sky. These lights were above the clouds, so there could be no way possible to be spot lights. Because of the cloud cover the lights were very dull. We tried to take pictures of it, but they were very poor quality. Anyway that is our story. If you have ever heard of anything like this please let us know. Thank You.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.
