Huge Flying Saucer Shaped UFO 14 Miles East Of Auckland New Zealand (Text Report/Audio)

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I am hoping I will be able to catch up with the witness overseas. This is a very interesting sighting.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, I emailed you a few years ago regarding this sighting. You telephoned me at home on the only night that I am out of the house so I missed you.

I really would like to know what I saw the night in 1974.

By trade I was an airframe mechanical and systems fitter on military aircraft. At the time of the sighting I was working as an engineer officer with Cunard Cargo Shipping. We had left Auckland New Zealand and were sailing east at about seventeen knots.

The horizon was lit with the light of Auckland city. I went out onto an after deck and looked towards the stern of the ship.

About four miles behind was a light at sea level it looked like a fishing boat. The light then ascended straight up into the clouds in about three seconds. The light grew so large and so bright in intensity that it lit the whole of the sky. I remember thinking that no battery powered light could get that bright and so big.

The light then dimmed and descended to sea level and approached the ship on the port side. As it got to within about one hundred yards I realized it was a huge flying disc approximately eighty to one hundred feet in diameter.

It was the color grey shaped like a discuss thrown at a school sports event and had colored lights flashing slowly around the circumference in sequence one after another. It came up our port side slightly faster than we were going at about one hundred feet high and one hundred feet away.

It made absolutely no sound and no ripples on the sea. I became frightened and hid behind a ships derrick and peered at it from behind the derrick. It did not show on the ships radar. It came level with amidships and then turned to port and sped off.

What I would like you to answer is this: Are there or were there any 'black projects' at that time (1974) that you know of that resemble what I saw?

I believe what I saw was not from this planet. I would really like to get to the bottom of it before I leave this earth. Kind Regards.

UFO With Lights Observed 2 Miles West Of Wrens Georgia (Diagram)

 

Date:  January 28, 212

Time: Evening. 

 

Hi! My name is (name removed). I was heading toward a trailer I own on Gamble Mill road just off Highway 88 at around 8:50 p.m. on January 28, 2012. Just off Highway 88 west about 2 miles from Wrens I saw an object to my right.

 

It was at an altitude of a small airplane flying the same direction as me, which was heading toward Sandersville on 88. The object had extremely bright lights which were 2 red lights in the middle and surrounded by white lights.

 

It was not a full circle of white lights, but had almost a rectangle shape. Two lights at the top seemed to appear as two lights close together, with one set over each of the red lights while ones on the side further down looked like one individual lights on each side directly across from the two red lights in the middle.

 

There where more lights around at the bottom, but can’t remember if they matched the ones at the top. I would lose sight of it when I got close to tree lines and when down in valleys. When I got near where I was to turn off on Gamble Mill road, it was just behind the lighted tower on that road.

 

I lost sight of it when I went down in the valley just before I would turn off at the top of the hill. When I got to the top of the hill at Gamble Mill road I could no longer see it. I speeded to 80 mph and kept traveling down 88.

 

At about 2 miles I saw it again, but it had apparently took off at a high speed. I could see it way off ahead just above the tree line and as far as I could see which was miles ahead. I watched as it just flew away out of sight in a second.

 

I called the neighbor who lives next to my trailer which is just past the tower on Gamble Mill road. I told them what I had just saw fly near their trailer. They said that at that time their two dogs which where in the trailer started barking and raising cane.

 

They had never done that before and so they went outside to see if something was outside the trailer, but seen nothing. I think the dogs heard this thing making some kind of sound that a human could not hear and that's why they where barking.

 

This thing had no flashing lights and almost looked like a flying symbol of lights rather then what you see on an airplane. Also appeared much larger than a plane. Planes do have a red light on that side, but this one had two red lights.

 

Usually a plane has a white flashing light. I made a rough drawing of what I saw. Thanks.

Three White Lights Seen In Ohio Approximately 19 Miles Outside Of West Virginia

 

Date:  April 13, 2011

Time:  Before midnight.

 

I saw something very similar to this expect, it was in Ohio about 19 miles outside of West Virginia. I was driving on 77 South and happened to look to my left and I saw 3 lights similar to the picture you have except they flew out of sight real fast past the tree-line.

 

I have driven past this same spot many many times and have looked every time at the same exact spot and I have not seen this phenomena any other time.

 

I've even driven past during the day and there are no lights or even houses or anything near this area. The closest house of lights of any kind are about 1.5 or more miles away. Just thought I'd let you know that I saw something similar.

Sparks Seen Falling From UFO Approximately 7 Miles South Of Covington Virginia (Graphic)

Date: 1985 or 1986. (?)

Time: Approx: 3:20 p.m.

Hello, I was in high school and just walked off the bus at the end of the day. The time was approximately 3:20pm I was walking the dirt path to my parents house from the bus stop. I walked 1/4 way home then I realized there was something in the air above the trees.

I stopped and stood by fence until I couldn't see it anymore. The shape was perfectly round, red like fire, but not illuminated or bright like the sun. I stared at it as it was very slowly falling with no noise while sparks and embers seemed to be emitting from the outer round shell and falling to the ground.

It appeared damaged as it was falling. What surprised me the most was how long it seemed to take for it to fall. I extended my arm and covered the disk with my thumb and when I seen it the first time, it looked like around 25 - 35 feet above treetops, and around 30 minutes later, it finally was unseen as it disappeared below treetops from my vision.

It was close enough to me to see the color and fire from the disk itself. The best way to show a picture is to draw it, but I remember what happened like yesterday.

I know the drawing is basic, but like I said, I just want to know if anyone else posted or reported an image or object of the same nature, anywhere else.

The location of this sighting is approximately 7 miles south of Covington, VA. I believe it was 1985 or 86.

Red Colored UFO Seen From Cruise Ship 10 Miles From Miami Florida

Date: June 2003

Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: Perhaps 30 people on deck.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I looked up to see a light rise above the ocean and arc skyward at a reasonable speed. I thought it was a flare. It rose very high and came to a split second stop, then zipped straight across the sky at an awesome speed.

It again came to a split second pause and then zoomed in the opposite direction. By this time everyone on deck was watching this thing. It was out over the ocean beyond our ship which was headed in to Miami.

We watched the movement for 15-20 minutes. It would descend in some movements and then zoom skyward again. There is no way this could have been a flare nor a conventional aircraft. After 15-20 minutes it zoomed out toward Cuba and that was the last we saw of it.

It was a glowing red light, unblinking, and at times there appeared to also be a white light. It was too far out for us to distinguish a shape.

20 To 50 Red/Orange Balls Of Light Over Inverurie 16 Miles From Aberdeen Scotland UK

Hi, (name removed) here from Inverurie, (16 miles from Aberdeen, Scotland). On Monday 14th valentines night at around 8:40pm. I went outside my house for a cigarette and looked up as I always do, checking out the stars when I saw right away red/orange balls of light almost like stars but they were all moving in the same direction (just like birds would) one after the other, must of been between 20 to a possible 50 or more.

I ran back upstairs to get my partner to have a look and make sure I wasn't imagining, but it wasn't just the weird red shooting stars that got us scared, the clouds in the dark sky above were moving just as fast as, say a movie scene that's does that speed up thing while filming the sky (clouds moving fast). We thought maybe that's why the moon was moving real fast, almost like an illusion caused by the clouds, but that was not the case as the moon was out of sight within seconds.

It then reappeared above us, but was still moving around, almost felt like with the ball of light and the moon it was as if the earth at just started its engine and took of full speed and the sky was the scenery passing by. There was one more thing that topped off everything that happened up there, as the lights were dying down (the moon moving around was for no more than 5 minutes) to the left, part of the sky (much lower than stars) I saw what looked like a very big glowing orange star, after looking back a few times 15 minutes after I first saw it and had now knew it wasn't a plane, all of sudden it started getting bigger and looked like was getting closer to earth.

I actually thought, "oh my god", it seemed like a ball of fire that was on course to hit us, but just as fast as it got closer, it moved directions (just as a computer mouse arrow would if moved left) then it by 3-5 seconds it got as small as a dot then vanished. Gold Shiny Boomerang Shaped UFO 10 Miles NW Of Green Bay Wisconsin

Date: January 11, 2011

Time: Approx: 4:30 p.m.

Hi Brian Vike, my son says he saw a gold shiny boomerang shaped UFO around 4:30pm heading North on 11 January 2011.

He says it came from the clouds, or just appeared super fast, faster than aircraft, faster than anything he has seen. It went from south to north and we live around 10 miles NW of Green Bay, WI.

I trust what he says, he is a 9 your boy scout, seen AF jets, I am in the Air National Guard, and he says faster than any F-16, etc. We have seen F-16's fly over our previous house for the Packer games from my base at the 115th FW.

It was bigger than a regular sized airplane, we occasionally get fly overs for Austin-Straubel airport in Green Bay, so he has seen flights over or near our house. He says it kind of disappeared which was really weird to him. He was excited when I came home from work and he saw it while snowboarding outside after school in our front yard.

I Googled tonight for gold boomerang shaped UFOs and found this sight and your posting about the below report. I didn't expect to see other sightings like his. He says it disappeared while still in sight. He says also it made no noise at all and it wasn’t that high up. He also stated no lights either, etc. Thanks.

Amateur Astronomer Just Misses Taking A Picture Of A UFO 3 Miles North Of Selma Alabama

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My brother put his head in the door to tell my other brother and I that the International Space Station is going to make a fly over.

When we get outside, I was ask "What's that star over there", being an amateur astronomer for over twenty-five years I had immediately noticed as soon as I got out doors that Venus was conspicuously bright in the South West sky. As high and bright as it gets I had noticed it's bright blue white color and it's position approximately forty degrees above the SW horizon along the ecliptic. I tell them what it is and continue setting up my camera and tripod. The station comes over and the evening is uneventful.

Two days later it hits me that Venus is not in the Western sky now, at that time I wasn't keeping up with the planetary positions but had been out looking at the sky a couple of days earlier. Sure enough I open my astronomy software and see that Venus is close to the Sol in the morning sky.

There I was with my camera on a tripod with a stationary UFO and didn't get any pictures. I have plenty of Pictures of Venus and waiting to get an image of the ISS I didn't want to setup my camera for Venus when the Station was about to come over.

Too bad I missed this opportunity because I could have gotten some great photos of the object all that would have been seen though would have been a light source in the night sky. I would have liked to get a look at it with my eight inch Schmidt Cassegrain scope.

Observations:

1. The Object looked stellar (outside the atmosphere).
2. The Object must have been using a lot of energy to put out that much light.
3. Position 40 degrees above SW horizon along the Ecliptic.
4. Looked exactly like Venus, Color, Brilliance were the same.It was positioned along the ecliptic.
5. Object was not Jupiter, Mars, Sirius, or any of the other bright stars around Orion,
6. Three Witnesses.

Large Bright Light Releases Red Objects 14 Miles SE From Garden City Texas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I know this was many years ago, but I have never gotten this out of my mind and I'm curious to find out if anyone else has reported seeing anything like this. As we were driving down a dirt road through the west Texas scrub, we saw a large white light high up in the sky. At first we thought it was just a very large star, but it was odd enough to keep our attention. It appeared to float and move slowly from west to east.

The light kind of flickered, but not strongly. The size and movement was what kept our attention. As we watched, a small red light came out of the side of the large white light and move downward immediately. It dropped slowly in a relatively straight line until it got fairly close to the ground and then it started moving very rapidly back and forth across about 1/4 of the horizon. The speed was tremendous, fast enough to appear to draw a red line back and forth across the sky as it moved.

Finally, it stopped moving and dropped to the ground 2 - 3 miles away from us. We could see a large area lighted up on the ground, but we were not close enough to see anything specifically. Also, we were terrified and wanted to move away and not closer! We continued on our way until we lost site of the light. We didn't report anything at the time as we didn't know who to report it to, and it would have only been an anecdotal account anyway. Box Or Rectangular Shaped UFO 30 Miles NW Of San Antonio Texas

Time: Daytime sighting.

Hello, I am writing to say that I, too, saw a box shaped, or rectangular shaped UFO myself. I, too, Googled that term and read the story of the rectangular UFO on Sightings.com, and am responding to the Brian Vike request for reports of rectangular UFOs. I live out in the country about 30 miles NW of San Antonio, Texas.

Last year, in absolutely clear, cloudless weather, on a warm day I saw something which I could not identify.

I was outside in my front yard and saw, in the sky at about a 45 degree angle up from the ground, an object which had the proportions of a dollar bill. That is, two or more times wider than it was tall, with square corners. It was the color of coin silver, or a slightly yellowish, dull silver-gray color. I saw it only in this shape, like a flat, two-dimensional object. If it had depth, or 3 dimensions, I did not see that, as I saw it only on that one side.

The object was without features except for an oval, or ellipse, centered both horizontally and vertically, which took up a bout maybe 15% of the area on that side. All color was the same grayish silver.

It seemed to me to be rather close, maybe a few hundred feet or closer, but I just cannot judge the distance at all, as there was no reference for me to use in determining distance or size.

I was nervous at seeing it, and, since I was alone at home at the time, I just went inside, after about a minute, rather than watch it. I was afraid that if it saw me, it might "get" me. I experienced no missing time as a result, so I escaped!! Sort of silly, I know, but it was a strange thing to see.

The only other thing I noticed that morning that got my attention is that there seemed to be several jets that flew around in the area, criss-crossing the sky at different times. Not all at once, but across three hours or so. I note this because out in the country where I am, we see only jets on approach to the San Antonio International Airport and occasionally a propeller driven plane going somewhere else. Military jets zoom by at a few thousand feet, but do not criss-cross the sky. They fly always in a westerly to easterly path.

So, that is my odd little story. This is the only UFO that I have ever seen.

6 Orange Red Lights Over Elizabeth Ilinois (140 Miles West Of Chicago)

Date: July 10, 2010

Time: 00:15

Weather condition: Clear - star filled sky.

My brother, wife and I were looking for satellites in the night sky when we observed 6 orange/red lights in an asymmetric V formation (two lights on the left/4 on the right) north and east of our home well below the altitude of the airliners that overfly us on their way to and from O'Hare airport in Chicago. The lights were moving at about the speed you normally see a helicopter moving.

We have very little helicopter traffic in our area, being limited in most cases to life flights, so we were interested and continued to watch. We then noticed there was no sound coming from the objects and the lights were constant; not strobing like an aircraft. We watched them move toward the southeast for about 3 minutes and suddenly all 6 disappeared at exactly the same time. The fact that they all disappeared at exactly the same instant and the stars above them remained visible told us they had not flown behind a cloud.

We live in a rural area where there is practically no light pollution. Star gazing is one of our favorite hobbies so we're very familiar with the sun reflecting off objects very high in the atmosphere or in orbit. We don't have an opinion regarding the origin of the lights we observed early this morning; however, we're experienced enough to know they were not high flying objects reflecting the sun nor were they similar to anything we've observed in our many years of watching the night sky.

Orange Fiery Ball 40 Miles North Of London England UK

Time: Approx: 9:50 p.m.

Hi, I live about 40 miles north of London, England. It is one of my sons seventh birthday, I took him and my eldest son aged eleven out in the street for a game of football (soccer) about 9.20pm tonight. It was starting to get dark at around 9.50pm when my youngest son pointed into the sky and asked what an approaching object in the sky was.

A big orange fiery ball passed right above our heads, and was moving fairly quick. My eldest thought it was a hot air balloon, but there is no way that it was, it was too small and moving too quick. There is no way it was a plane or helicopter either.

It moved at a fairly steady speed in a northern direction, the only thing that seems to differ from your description is it appeared to making a slight humming noise. It was fairly low in the sky. This is the first time that I have spotted something in the sky that I haven't been able to identify.

All three of as saw it and watched it until it flew out of sight. I would be very interested to find out what it was, there is probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for it, but I am intrigued to find out.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I had just pulled up to my ranch, 6 miles west of Spring Hill when I saw 2 objects in the sky just to the east of my home at dusk. They were round, red and green, and had large fiery tails trailing them. They made no sound, and were moving horizontally at a fairly low rate of speed. They moved from northeast to southwest, and appeared to stay glowing the whole time that I watched them. They were maybe 100-150 feet in the air.
