Bright Object Makes Unusual Maneuvers Across The Sky Over Smithers British Columbia

Date:  February 27, 2015
Time:  Approximately 10:00 p.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round, like a star.
Colour of Object: Bright.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I stepped outside of my apartment, when I noticed a bright light moving near a star at approximately 11 o'clock above me (to the west, closer to Hudson's Bay Mountain).

It seemed to move erratically with some stops, zig -zags and spurts of speed. There were no sounds overhead.

I watched it behave in this manner for approximately 5 minutes until it sort of "sputtered", and faded in and out and finally disappeared at approximately 2-3 o'clock in the eastern sky...near the mouth of the Big Dipper.

It most certainly exhibited some very unusual movements, quite unlike space junk or a satellite. Weird.

Eyewitness Watches Object Make Unusual Maneuvers From Glacier Washington

Did anyone else see the lights in the sky tonight at around 6:53 PDT on January 25, 2015 ?

I looked southeast from Glacier, WA at the sky towards Mt. Baker, which was beautifully lit by the moon.

All of a sudden I thought I was seeing the forecasted comet or asteroid to the left (NE) of Mt Baker as I saw a brightly lit "star" falling. Clear as it could be.

The stars at night up here are much clearer than in more populated areas. So, I'm watching this thing falling, but then, instead of continuing to fall, it took a sharp left turn (headed north), went sideways, then back up, then down, then right, down, up, across all over the place.

It must have gone on for at least 2 minutes. That was no Asteroid or Comet. Did anyone see this?

Eventually it went back to it's "original" position, flickered a bunch and began to fade away. I have never seen anything clearly wrong, defying all laws of physics as we know them, in the night sky like this in my life.

you said 8:50 p.m., maybe one or both of us is off on the time, but it was approximately 6:53 p.m. when I texted a friend over Facebook about what I was watching as I watched it.

I was not looking toward Vancouver, although I'm 25 minuets from the Sumas, Washington Abbotsford crossing into British Columbia.

I was looking as if my back was towards Vancouver, British Columbia, looking southeast toward Mt Baker.

Star Like Object Makes Some Odd Maneuvers Over Fort St. John British Columbia

Date:  January 19 and January 23, 2015
Time:  Early morning.

Hi, I was just wondering if there have been any recent reports of UFO sightings in Fort St. John, British Columbia.

Twice this week at the same time in the morning, I have noticed a strange star like object descending from the sky erratically.

It was dropping in altitude, then fluttering in a strange motion then descending again and maintaining a altitude and slightly changing direction from side to side while moving closer to the city.

At both times I have watched it, it gets close to the city and then changes direction and goes the opposite way and starts to go higher in the sky and away in the direction it originally came from.

I think the first time I saw it was this past Monday and again this morning. First time I shrugged it off as a weird thing I noticed, but today after the second sighting, I am convinced it is something else. I am just wondering if anyone has reported a similar sighting. Thanks.

6 To 7 Red/Orange Lights Making Odd Maneuvers In The Sky Over Atwater California

Hi, my name is (name removed) and would like to know what I saw when I was done walking my dog home.

I notice 6-7 reddish/orange bright dots in the sky moving around. I thought they could be airplanes, but I didn't see any lights flashing as they would do.

I live in Atwater, California. We do also have an old air base in town also, but how the dots were moving, it couldn't be any aircraft. As I was staring at it, one by one they started to disappear.

Suddenly all of them were gone and then 2 dots aligned to each other which came out of nowhere and vanish instantly.

Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Leicester East Midlands England UK

Date:  December 5, 2014
Time:  Evening.

I saw 6 objects in the sky tonight over Leicester, UK. At first I thought it was a helicopter carrying a big container.

Then the two objects split, the small (just a bright light) vanished and then I observed the larger of the two, which was a large square object with lights on each point suddenly stop and hover until it moved at a 90 degree angle side ways.

I have never in my life seen a helicopter or a plane do something like that and then it just disappeared!

About two minutes down the road after just telling myself it must have been someone messing about (as I'm rather skeptical on these things and try to find a logical answer) I then witnessed 4 more of the smaller objects just hovering and not moving!

Without a doubt I am freaked out.

Bizarre Lights Seen In The Sky Over Oadby Leicestershire England UK

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

Hi Brian, I read a blog post just now that talked about an experience that happened over Leicester earlier tonight. I too saw the strange lights and objects in the sky.

It was about 8:45 p.m. when I was driving near Oadby when I saw what looked like the under light of a helicopter which was carrying what looked like (underneath it) a huge container or object of a square nature with lights on all four corners. I continued to drive just observing it when the two objects detached from each other.

The smaller of the two went off to the right and then disappeared whilst the larger moved over Asda (in Oadby) and abruptly stopped, at this point all my skepticism had been abolished and my stomach dropped, it then suddenly moved at a sharp right angle.

I have never seen a plane or a helicopter do this in my life. I am fair certain that planes cannot just move like that and helicopters have to swing forward slightly to go sideways.

This was as if it had stopped turned mid air and then moved again. It shortly vanished. A couple minutes up the road I then saw another square looking object followed by 3 more smaller with a single bright light, they were all hovering.

No movement what so ever, now I did think these could be stars but no, they were way too close to the road to be stars.

I was a serious skeptic about UFO’s, but tonight blew me away.

UFO Makes Strange Maneuvers/Vibration In The Sky Over Vanderhoof British Columbia (Picture)

I saw this Halloween morning, just after 8:00 a.m.. Do you have any idea what it could be?

This light was moving really strange, it came straight down, shot back up and came down again moving very fast then slowed down.

It went side ways kind of, in a jerking movement. My daughter and granddaughter came out and watched for the the last few seconds as it sped up, went side ways again then straight up super fast then shot back down very fast, then it was gone.

The few pictures I got was of the last few seconds of it coming down.

I'm in Vanderhoof, British Columbia Canada, and yes you can use the pictures. I have a few more, there was a sound also vibration sort of?

My granddaughter was more bothered by the sound then we were, and I also thought space debris at first, until it started moving and stopping in different directions.

We live right in town and I've asked others if they saw it, just a few people so far have said yes.

UFO Makes All Kinds Of Strange Maneuvers Over Dease Lake British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 8:50 p.m.

Hi, I would like to report a crazy encounter with a UFO.  On September 11, 2014 in Dease Lake, British Columbia around 8:50 p.m. a yellow fireball looking thing buzzed down Boulder Street just above the tree tops.

I thought it was meteorite streaking by, so I ran outside. By the time I ran outside the orb had circled around and now was literally above an abandoned house next to mine. It started coming down to earth as if it was going to crash into it.

It stopped abruptly and started doing a swaying, zig zag motion, like a feather. I thought it was a plane on fire. This object was round, but more oval. It was completely on fire and had a orange ring around it.

It had the ability to stop move in any direction and after this show it put on, it zoomed left and straight up into the sky. Multiple witness's in town, many people said there was more than one.

One person watched it hover over the store and post office metal roofs for several minutes. It was completely unreal. This whole show lasted over 10 minuets or more and I have the light blasts it created on my home security cameras.

Green Colored Glowing Ball/UFO Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Prince George British Columbia

Time:  Evening.

Hey Brian, I was curious if any reports have come. In about last night I was looking out my window to see the Canada Day fireworks, but I couldn't see them, however I noticed a green ball glowing in the sky.

At first I thought it was a stray firework, but it stayed there for a minute or so before rising up at quite a fast speed then came to a complete stop, I called my wife to come see it. It just sat there in the same place until the fireworks ended.

It then went down, made a 90 degree turn right then moved back left, then back to the middle where it started, then down to the ground then back up and then it moved behind the tree line.

All I had for a recording device was my phone. It would have been such poor quality I decided I'd rather just watch it through my eyes than waste seeing this thing through my phone in blurry images.

I see on the net all the time anyways. Anyways any feed back would be nice thank you. Oh I forgot to tell you I live in Prince George, British Columbia.

Red/Orange Lights Seen Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Orlando Florida

Last night in Orlando, Florida multiple witnesses saw three reddish orange lights in a triangular pattern. One stopped still in the sky with the other 2 zooming off. Then after about 30-45 seconds the stationary one was joined by several lights.

 

One by one.they formed an odd pattern before taking off at an amazingly fast speed. Oh and for contrast there happened to be a regular plane in the sky heading towards Orlando international airport at that same time.

Red Oval Shaped UFO Makes Unusual Maneuvers Over Chase City Virginia

About 7:30 pm, my boyfriend and I were observing the Moon and we saw a large oval red shape orb object that I thought must be Mars, that was just above the foothills and very far away from the Moon which was over top of my Residence in Chase City, Va.

 

We watched it and it began to descend towards the foothills, then it slowly went back up and hovered. It would dim out and then radiate back in as red and slowly pulsate, and then again descend and go down past the foothills only to arise again higher and continue to pulsate slow. 

 

It would go back down and then come up and hover for about twenty moments and suddenly it completely disappeared. This was no air craft nor helicopter and remained red and it was amazing!

5 UFOs Making Sudden Maneuvers Over Kirkland Quebec

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I wish I could remember the exact time and date. I think it was early Fall of 2010. I walked from my house to barbecue hut on St-Charles Blvd in Kirkland, Qc.

 

In the parking lot a young man in his 20's was looking up in the sky and pointed out what he thought were strange aircraft in the sky. The crafts were high altitude. Looking south in trajectory with St-Charles Blvd, I would estimate that the craft were hovering over Lac St-Louis near the Beaconsifeld shore line less than 2 km from my position.

The 5 crafts looked like stars (small white fuzzy dots), and hovered for a while slowly swaying, but not going really anywhere. One craft moved more than the rest. I focused my attention on that craft for a minute and all of a sudden it made a quick tight zigzag maneuver for about 3 seconds!

 

When I say tight zig-zag, I mean it went in a straight general trajectory over a distance of at least 300 to 500 meters, but went right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left in the span of about 3 seconds!

Imagine going 100 meters a second in one direction while zig-zagging left, right, left every second at the same time.

A normal aircraft would get torn apart from the G-forces of such a maneuver.

I could only imagine an anti-gravity craft could possibly pull something like that off. To me it looked like a black project flight test, but who knows what I saw? I chatted with the young man for a few minutes and then he got in his car and left while I went to get my take out chicken.

 

When I came out of the restaurant, the objects were still in the sky. I could still see them for a portion of my walk back home.

Has anyone else seen a craft that can do quick tight zig-zag flight maneuvers?

Strange Green Light Makes Unusual Maneuvers In The Sky Over Interstate 80 Tahoe Nevada

Time:  Evening.

 

Hello, my two friends and I were driving east on 80 up to Tahoe tonight and saw a green light moving in the air in a flight pattern we had never seen. Up, down and diagonal. There was no tail, no flashing lights. 

 

It was not big enough to be a helicopter, or plane and couldn't have been with the way it was moving. 

 

Maybe a radio controlled something? To big to be a laser or pointer of some sort. I've never seen a UFO, or never reported anything. When I saw it, I  brought it to the attention of driver and front passenger.

 

All of us saw the same thing. No drinking or drugs. Regards.

Matte Black UFO Performing Maneuvers In And Out Of The Clouds At West Kelowna British Columbia

Time:  Morning/daytime.

 

Hi Brian, I found you online right after this occurred. Sunday morning I took my dog out to do her business in the field beside our condo in West Kelowna. On the way back these two older fellows in their  70's, I would imagine called me across the street and said "young fella come over here" (keep in mind I am 43 years old).

 

Anyways, they pointed up at the sky which was overcast and grey and asked me to see what I could make of an object there. It was very far away and high and at first glance looked like a helicopter, all matte black performing maneuvers, but there way no sound and some of it’s movements we're unnatural to a helicopter.

 

The one guy said he was in the service and that was no helicopter, and after 15 minutes he said he was going to go get his binoculars. The object looked like two black balloons tethered together by a cable, one larger than the other. The movement was strange, but also fluid and it disappeared at times into the clouds.

 

This object was very high up and though you suppose it could have been weather balloons of some kind, it was not kids balloons. You could see how fast the clouds were moving and it was at their altitude, but stationary in respect to them. Suppose it could have also been a remote controlled object, but again it was pretty high up for that.

 

As in a km at least. Well that's all I have and I am one skeptical guy until I have proof. I just cannot explain what I saw.

Orange Colored Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Alberton South Africa

Hi Brian, we live in Alberton and at about 22H51 on Saturday night, my mom, son, wife and I where looking at some fireworks when we all saw 2 orange lights coming from a south direction towards us.

 

I thought it was a plane, then I seen the 2 lights were to far apart for it to be. They both turned towards the west and split up for a few seconds and then came together again, then shot up into the clouds.

 

After an hour or so we seen an orange light coming from the west and turning sharp to the south, over the next few hours we seen the same thing 4 times.

 

There was also no sound coming from the lights.

 

I would love to know if anyone else seen this as I do think it was a UFO. Kind regards.

Green Light Makes Fantastic Maneuvers Over Marina Del Rey California

Last night in Marina Del Rey (May 13th 2011) I saw something similar to the red and blue light over Marina Del Rey video I just saw on your site

 

At first I thought it was an airplane with a green light, then as it went up, it started to fall. I thought someone was shooting off fireworks, but after it's initial "fall", is swooped up again and did a huge loop and then in a straight line, then hovering then up again and another loop, then disappearing behind cloud then reappearing with the same sort of "dance".

 

It went in a straight direction across the top of a building then disappeared. (this dance took about 2 or 3 minutes)

Initially I just wasn't sure what I was seeing. I was in an apartment building that is on the water on Fiji Way and was looking out across the inlet to the other buildings. The light was so bright and changed colors intermittently, but with now clear "pattern" of timing like an airplane light flickering. 

 

So then I thought that maybe someone was on the roof of that building and was flying a remote controlled airplane with a light, but the distance seemed way too far away for the light to be that bright and also it was so high in the air and it was at night.

 

I'm not sure how someone could control it the way it was flying. Anyway, I looked up "UFO sighting May 13th, 2011 Marina Del Rey" on Google and one of the things that came up was your site and I saw the video and it looked really similar.  You asked if anyone had seen something similar to email you. Disk Shaped UFO Makes Wild Maneuvers Over Greentree New Jersey

Date: November 19, 1998

Time: 9:10 p.m.

Location of Sighting: NJ Turnpike, Greentree NJ.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Traveling north on New Jersey Turnpike (I-95, clear skies with clear un-tinted windows) as a passenger watching numerous jets on their paths to airports, I noticed a sudden lack of air traffic. Then out of nowhere from directly south over my right shoulder, I saw an aqua-green very bright blinking lighted object which altered football, elliptical shaped flying and descending object, only four to five hundred feet away at an altitude of about 300 feet, about 30 degrees upward from the ground plane.

It was traveling at a very high rate of speed, more than 1 mile per second. It was blinking erratically and appeared to be in trouble. It felt like there was a signal or a message coming from it and I felt a strong sense of a problem within it. It passed us blinking and occulting and appeared as if it had crashed ahead about 2 miles east of the road still parallel to it.

While he continued driving, there was discussion about it between us as my associate was an experienced, small craft pilot and I was in the USAF in the 70's.

As we approached the area where the craft was downed, not knowing it would move again, I saw it rise to a height just above the vegetation and trees, crossing over the highway, but stopping dead center over our northern middle lane facing west. It was now extremely recognizable as a disk shaped craft which was still slightly blinking, but as a bright shadow-ish green in nature and clearly translucent as a night shining skin with apparent electricity flowing through it.

I wondered how this could be as I have never experienced such lighting or energy technology. It was clearly visible in it’s entirety from top to just about underneath. After about 15 seconds we were just 100 feet traveling slower and watching. I could tell it was about 3 car lengths in diameter determining it’s length as it appeared over an overpass, but this could not be determined as exact as I could not tell if it was directly over the bridge, or might it have been closer or nearer to us.

It accelerated west and parallel to the surface exponentially across the highway and continued to accelerate to a speed which just started to make it appear blurred at 4 seconds, quickly turned at a compound angle, 60 degrees to the right and 45 to 50 degrees upward through 2 layers of clouds. It could be seen as it was going through the second scattered cloud layer and disappeared away from our atmosphere at an extremely high rate of speed.

I had only average (laughable) interest in this type phenomenon prior to this encounter and was not a non-believer. However it did require convincing until this incident. Now I really do know. I remained silent about this until now because of the ridicule factor having been a finance company owner. I have seen, I believe.

Blue Light Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Cape Breton Nova Scotia

Time: Approx: 4:30 p.m.

Hey, I live on the south shore of Cape Breton Nova Scotia. I was looking off my patio on the 15th or so of January, and I saw a light behind a dark cloud. It was around 4:30pm, so it was almost dark. Behind the cloud the light seemed blue and moved all around in an almost an awkward speed.

It did this long enough for me to yell to a friend and he witnessed it for about 5 seconds and then it came from behind the cloud and seemed white this time. It went into the woods or beyond the horizon? Needless to say my friend was spooked. I watched it a bit longer and never thought much more of it until tonight and noticed other sightings around the same small area.

UFO Maneuvers In The Sky Seen From Norwegian Cruise Ship

 

Date: February 5, 2011

Time: 3:00 a.m.

Hi, I was on a Norwegian Cruise Ship, heading towards their “Private Island,” watching the morning sky when I noticed what I first thought was one star blinking much more than the others. Once it caught my attention, I kept watching it. There was quite a bit of fog on the water, but two other ships were sailing behind and further east than ours.

They were close enough that I could see their lights, and far enough away that I could make out the horizon. The light in the sky was white at first, then red, green and back to white. It was at a high elevation, at an angle of approximately 45 degrees from my position.

The light was white when it dropped straight down at least 3 – 4 thousand feet, paused for a second or two then went horizontal across the sky about the same distance and paused another few seconds and disappeared. Seconds later it appeared back in the original position.

I believe that a laser pen I was pointing at it after seeing the color changes initiated the movement, but this is purely supposition.

UFO Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Mudge Island Seen From Brickyard Beach Gabriola British Columbia

Date: January 22, 2011
Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I stopped at the brickyard beach on Gabriola 01/22/2011 at about 7:30 pm and looking south over Mudge Island, when we saw what looked like a fire on Mudge. We then noticed it was moving south, very slowly and it started to fade.

We got into our car and drove south, it appeared in the sky over Mudge again, so we stopped on the side of the road to watch.

The light slowly moved, what looked like southeast and it was pulsing and lighting up the clouds above it. It then faded from sight, ten seconds later it appeared in the same spot over Mudge. Wow kind of freaked us out. It went in the same direction as before then faded out, that was about 7:45 pm.
