7 Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Magna Salt Lake City Utah

Date:  March 23, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Greetings, I'm not in your area, but I saw the exact same thing as described over Salt Lake City, UT. It's so odd, because I can't find anything online about anyone else seeing them.

There were 7 of the orange lights. The car in front of us pulled over to look at them and so did we. We stared at them for about 3 minutes and they just faded away until there were none.

Since the witnesses lights were heading west, I wonder if they were the same ones.

I saw them at about 9:30 p.m. Mountain time on the night of the 23rd. Which would have been about two hours after you saw yours. Have you found out anything else about them? Cheers,

Additional Information:

I saw them over Salt Lake City, UT (more specifically, a suburb of Salt Lake City called Magna). I was driving east when I saw them in the sky over the Rocky Mountains. And they were travelling in what seemed like a north west trajectory.

12 Orange Spheres In Formation Spotted Over Salt Lake City Utah

Date:  March 9, 2012
Time:  9:45 p.m. – 9:53 p.m.

Again, orange spheres. Twelve. They were in a formation. They went very low, thought they were lights from a show.

I was on Foothill Blvd. Spheres looked to me to be around 3300-3900 south. I was looking west onto valley.

Formation dismantled. Two sets of two. Slowly they flew north. Only one was left. It disappeared right above Venus. I had witnessed same spheres Christmas Eve., SLC.

Additional Information:

Good morning Brian

Yes, I live in SLC, up on the east bench. I saw the same orange spheres on Christmas Eve. Last night, March 9, 2012, saw the spheres again. 21:45-21:53.

I thought at first they were attached to a cable or something. Pulled up into a church parking lot off foothill approximately 1500 south to get better look. Formation appeared to be around 3300-3900 south.

Four left and flew in formation of twos north. Then there was one, that went up high and north towards Venus and just poof disappeared too.

So no, not flares. Not jumpers. Not aircraft, I am in aviation, something extraordinary. I think it's kind of cool. Maybe it’s the Annunaki come back to claim their own. Who knows.

Thanks for all you do for getting the word out. You must be so overwhelmed.

Oh, their formation was like a strand of DNA. Maybe like the crop circles in UK, message of ascension and change of our DNA. Best.

5 Or 6 Flickering Orange Lights Seen Over Sugar House Salt Lake City Utah

Date:  January 25, 2012
Time:  8:45 p.m.

(8:45 p.m., 1/25) From our Sugarhouse front porch, looking northward toward the Aves, we saw 5 or 6 flickering, orange lights floating westbound toward town.

They sort of looked like those Japanese lanterns that people launch into the sky, by the way they were flickering.

Only these were much larger/brighter. Strangely, as each one floated behind the trees in the foreground, they weren't reappearing. I've never seen anything like it!

Red/Orange Lights Observed Over Sandy Salt Lake City Utah

Date:  January 22, 2012
Time:  7:00 p.m.

I seen the same thing, but fewer lights (about 7) in Salt Lake City, Utah (Sandy) on January 22nd. at 7:00 p.m. Four hovered then disappeared then 3 more flew to the same spot (horizontally) and disappeared as well.

We pulled over thinking they were falling stars or something. This happened in a matter of 10 minutes.

4 Orange Lights Over Salt Lake City Utah

Date:  January 14, 2012
Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Driving west tonight (1/14/2012 at approximately 8:30 p.m.) from about 1300 or so. I saw 4 orange lights in a line formation.

They were probably aircraft going to SLC airport, but they seemed strange, got home about 5 minutes later and tried to see them, but they were gone.

6 Or 7 Orange Lights Observed Over Salt Lake Valley Utah

Date:  January 5, 2012
Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

My wife and I were returning home from shopping around 8:30 p.m. on 1/5/2012 when we noticed off to the east around twin peaks area 6 or 7 orange lights. I suspected fires on the mountain side at first, but as we watched they were moving.

We traveled east to get a better view and by this time all of the lights except one had faded out. We got out of the car and watched the last light move overhead. It seemed to have a slight strobing with erratic bobbing movement. It moved north and eventually faded from view.

No news story that night or next day.

My family in Salt Lake City saw orange lights-I missed it. Can't find anything else on this. I think my brother took picture.

12 Bright Orange Lights Over Salt Lake City Valley Utah

Date:  December 24, 2011
Time:  Evening.

This evening about 12 bright orange lights were seen forming some type of circle. It was almost like they were trying to convey some type of message. They also made like a big question mark. They disappeared and then would come back again.

I called my friend with whom I was meeting for dinner before church services this evening. He and his party of course thought I was mad, but soon they too witnessed these bright orange lights in the SLC valley.

I cannot see any other postings regarding these lights. Would appreciate other feed back. Also, please note, right before this sighting, I had noticed aircraft and heard aircraft above my residence. I had also called a friend to report my strange feelings and sightings.

Unfortunately, no camera so I am hoping others here in Salt Lake were able to catch on film.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Boomerang Shaped UFO Seen Looking West Over Salt Lake Toward Oquirre Mountains Utah

Date:  November, 1980
Time:  Dusk.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Wing, chevron, boomerang.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking west over Salt Lake toward the Oquirre Mountains. The sky was cloudless, but then I saw a dark shape. I wondered if it was a cloud or a plane.

I thought it was a cloud, but it looked too regular in shape, so I figured it must be an airplane.

It moved in a straight line of travel at the same altitude, which must have been several thousand feet to clear the mountains.

It was a dark grey blue in color, about the same color as the sky, but a bit darker. The sun had just set about half an hour before I initially sighted it, so at first it stood out against the sky somewhat.

As the darkness grew it blended in with the sky until it almost disappeared. For this reason I was afraid to go find a camera or call friends.

Plus I still thought it might be an airplane as the closer it got the more it looked like it had wings.

However, it made absolutely no sound and there were no lights on it. When it was about halfway from the mountains to me it was so dark that I could only make it out by the fact that it was blotting out the stars.

It increased in size until it took up a huge portion of the visible sky.

When it was directly overhead I could clearly see the shape. It still looked about the same color as the sky, blue black or grey. However, I could see irregularities in the color of the surface like you can see plowed fields from an airplane.

It was made of rectangular and square pieces of almost the same color that were joined together by straight seams. It was chevron shaped, so it looked like a "fat" wing or a boomerang. It had curved corners, not sharp.

Imagine sergeant's stripes and take the outline and round the corners and you pretty much have it. It was a bit "fatter" in the middle than at the tips of the wing. It was a huge flying wing with no fuse, large and made no noise at all.

The underside appeared as if heat waves or some other atmospheric distortion affected my ability to see it, almost as if it were "cloaked" somehow.

It continued in a straight line until it disappeared from sight. It couldn't possibly have been an airplane because when it was directly overhead it blotted out most of the sky and extended almost from horizon to horizon.

So, if it were at a normal flight altitude for a passenger jet it would take a hundred or more of them wingtip to wingtip to make it appear that large.

I called out to my friends, but no one came out. No one believed me when I told them, and I pretty much quit talking about it until the Phoenix lights of 1997, when I realized that it was almost exactly what I had seen, but with lights on it, i.e. a huge "boomerang" shaped craft that made no noise and was about the same color as the sky.

4 Or 5 Orange Lights Over Salt Lake Valley Utah

Date: September 29, 2011
Time: 9:40 p.m.

Hi Brian, Per your directions here, (http://hbccuforesearch.blogspot.com/2010/09/formation-of-orange-lights-over-salt.html) I want to tell you about something I saw last night (September 29, 2011). At 9:40pm, I was driving south on 700E (towards 7500S), and I noticed 4 or 5 lights in the sky. They were orange and seemed not to be moving. I kept looking up and trying to figure out what the hell they were, while also trying not to wreck my car because I was driving.

Finally (about 90 seconds after seeing the lights) I found a parking lot to park and get out of my car to look at them. By that time they had disappeared, except for 1. It was traveling west, and it made no sound.

The orange light pulsated on it. As it traveled west, the light extinguished and it disappeared in the middle of the sky. Then another orange light came from the east and did the same thing, eventually disappearing in the middle of the sky by turning its light off.

A car driving by spotted me in the parking lot. There were 2 people in it, a guy and a girl. The girl excitedly screamed "did you see that!?" Then the guy mentioned "we saw about 8 of them and they were hovering down close to the houses.

The girl asked "did you see the one with the weird shape?" Something about a "triangle top." I answered no, because I hadn't gotten a good enough look, but they obviously did.

The lights came and went pretty quickly, but a bunch of people had to have seen them other than me and those other two people. In your blog, I noticed it has been almost 1 year exactly since your sighting (Sept 30, 2010) and mine (Sept 29, 2011). Not sure what to make of that, or any of this, but it sure is interesting. I've never seen anything like that in my life.

Strange Traveling Distant Objects Over Salt Kingscillfe NSW Australia

Date: April 10, 2011
Time: 9:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 6
Shape of Objects: Distant star.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking south when I noticed a shooting star. However, the next three or four went in a upward linear direction at an angle of about 15 degrees. Then the last one actually described a large irregular curve.

These looked exactly like shooting stars, however I was particularly stunned by the last one which moved in a circular motion over about 20 degrees of the sky.

Four Orange Objects Over Salt Lake City Utah

Date: January 1, 2011
Time: 12:50 a.m.

I live in Salt Lake City and saw four orange orbs flying over what appeared to be emigration canyon on New Years Eve. When I observed the orbs off to the east, it was around 12:50am. They quickly disappeared a minute or so after I spotted them. I waited for them to come back throughout the night, but they never returned to the best of my knowledge.

While I was watching them, one moved horizontally to the south then stopped and then each of the lights began to disappear one at a time quickly. I was observing the orbs from a house near Hillcrest Park on 2000 E and Stratford Ave which is about 2500 S.

Blue And Orange Hot Air Balloons Over Salt Lake City

Date: December 31, 2010 and January 1, 2011
Time: Between 11:00 and midnight.

Happy New Year!

My husband and I set off two hot air balloon type things last night between 11:00 and midnight. One was blue and the second one, 20 minutes later, was orange. I think the one that got reported on your website, was probably our orange one.

They sell these at the fireworks stand in Battle Mountain. They're basically a paper balloon that's treated with fire retardant, and then it has an incendiary device just under the paper balloon that you light. It floats straight up, works like a hot air balloon, and the paper balloon part glows.

Very pretty. We thought they looked like UFO's when they got really high up. So, I thought I'd Google and see if anyone reported it.

Thank you.

Round Object With Orange Aura Over Salt Lake City Utah

Date: January 1, 2011
Time: 12:08 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Salt Lake City Utah.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round with orange aura.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It traveled upward, not toward the horizon. Horizontal seemed odd once it started making quick moves, abnormal for aircraft movement. Then continued heading upward. It was very cool stuff. I hope more people saw it too!

Formation Of Orange Lights Over Salt Lake City Utah

Date: September 25, 2010
Time: 9:40 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Salt Lake City.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: About 12 people.
Shape of Objects: Orange balls with lighter dome on top.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mother and I turned southbound on Highland Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah coming home from the University of Utah football game. As we turned through a well-traveled intersection on to Highland Drive, we saw a formation of orange lights in the sky, almost in the formation of the big dipper or something.

We slowed down and my mom kept saying, "what the hell is that? what are those?" and I just stared, jaw dropped. The orange balls (looked almost like hot air balloons, but they were now traveling in a coordinated fashion going northbound, not how a balloon would float).

They were bright orange, close, large and they had little dome tops that were a little lighter orange. They travelled over us, going north, and disappeared. I thought, "there it is: the invasion" and I am the furthest thing from a UFO or paranormal activity person. We both knew, by the way they moved, the way they looked, that these were not planes, helicopters or lanterns. Other people have to have seen this too. Weird.

Gray Ball Following Aircraft Over Salt Lake City Utah

Date: August 9, 2010
Time: 5:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Salt Lake City Utah.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was sitting in the backyard with my wife when I noticed a jet with a contrail in the sky. I was watching the plane overhead when a gray ball faded into sight that was following the plane. I told my wife to look and she seen it as well. The object was visible for about 10 seconds as it followed the plane and then faded from sight. Unlike the plane, it didn't leave a contrail.
It was the first unidentified object my wife or I had ever seen. Pretty cool experience.

It was visible for approximately 2 minutes directly over the downtown Salt Lake City area until it suddenly vanished.

Please let me know if you would like more information.
