Red Ball Of Light Observed Over Chatham-Kent Ontario

Time:  Approx: 9:20 p.m.

November 14, 2014 at approximately 9:20 p.m., my husband called me to the front windows of our house to view an object in the night sky.

The windows face southwest. A large red ball was visible moving quickly from west to east. This was not a flashing light, as in a plane.

Planes commonly fly over us from Detroit to Toronto and this was very different. Based on size, it was hard to tell the distance, but it appeared to be very low in the sky.

We both ran outside to view. Facing southeast now, we watched. The red ball stopped in the sky and “danced” about a little erratic like. Then it moved off quickly southeast and upwards and we lost it behind the cloud cover.

It did appear to get very small like a pin prick and then it was gone. Sincerely.

Star Like Object Seen Over Dartford Kent England UK

It's 5:30 a.m. and I have been watching what I thought was a star.

It's not going up and down. I'm on Dartford down 207 by the river. What I have witnessed. Tried to film it.

Orange Colored Lights Spotted Over Oxenden Square Herne Bay Kent UK

Time:  9:00 p.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of Objects: 2 clearly and many in background.

Shape of Objects: Orange spheres pulsating.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Watched a host of orange lights in sky diagonally move across from my home in the distance moving at speed with no noise in zig zag formation almost.

 

Then two orange coloured lights hovered opposite my second story window within fifty foot on the roof line of my neighbors roof in Oxenden Street for about 10 minutes.

 

My 10 year old daughter was freaked out and kept telling me to close the window and come away as no way were they lanterns, helicopters or planes.

 

I was fascinated and excited at what was happened and emailed Howard Hughes the unexplained website the next day to report this.

 

The lights then moved at speed towards the sea and did not return. I am convinced these were UFOs.

Large Bright Orange Object Seen Over Whitstable Kent UK

Time:  10:45 p.m.

 

Hi folks, following up on the stories about strange orange lights in the sky over the past few years I saw one myself last night (23rd May 2009) at 10:45 p.m. travelling in an easterly direction. I live in Whitstable and went upstairs to shut bedroom curtains.

 

Being used to seeing aircraft flying over, I know what they look like and this was no aircraft that I am familiar with. Saw a large very bright orange, almost flaming, orb moving in a straight line and quite quickly.

 

Called my wife to take a look and the light continued over Herne Bay where it naturally became dimmer quite quickly. It then seemed to stop and quickly dim until it vanished completely, as if it was gaining altitude in line with my eyesight. Strange?

 

I have never seen anything like this and wonder if other people in Kent saw it as well last night.

Glowing Pink Object Shoots Across The Sky Over Sittingbourne Kent UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking for the moon to see what phase it was in, and saw what I thought was a Chinese lantern glowing pink in the clear sky.

 

I called to a colleague to ask him what it was, and we watched as it shot like a silent fighter jet flying lower than the planes over us. We had vision for miles around, but this object suddenly went opaque, but still glowing pinky orange and shot into the distance.

 

In the time it took me to get my phone out of my pocket to photo it, it was out of sight and approximately ten miles away. Anyone know what it was please inform us as we are gob smacked. Thanks.

Orange Balls Of Light In The Sky Over Kent Ohio

Hi, I found your website. I wanted to report that I saw orange balls in the sky, evenly spaced moving from the east to west this past Friday night 10/28/11. Time was about 8:00 p.m.. (+/- an hour). After they passed my position, they went dark.

 

This was in Kent, Ohio. About a year ago, my wife and I were on a walk at night and saw the same thing, again coming from eastern sky to western sky. I do not remember the month. Very odd. Also, I want to add this was in suburbs with other light pollution. So they were visible. Any ideas? Sincerely.

Dark Triangular UFO Witnessed Over Rochester Kent UK

Date: April 2010 ?

Time: Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed), 37, and I live in Rochester Kent. Around the same time last year I was standing outside our back door to our conservatory and as usual I look up at the stars. I first thought I saw a low plane, but at second look there was a dark triangle shaped aircraft running at a slow steady pace heading towards the direction of Walderslade.

There were no sound coming from the craft as if it was like a hand glider and each corner had a bright red light (non flashing, like a normal aircraft would have white and red flashing lights). I called my step son out and we both witnessed it over our heads and in to the distance. My first thoughts was that it was a low satellite, but surely it was to much of an odd shape for one of those, so second thought it was a military aircraft.

I have looked all over the net, but found no such military craft, but a lot of similar sightings to ours and all come back with the same answer, unidentified flying object. Please let me know if you have any more info on this as I am baffled. Thanks.

Bright Ball Of Fire Changed Into A Upside Down Y Over Petts Wood Near Bromley Kent UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It is so long ago I cannot remember date exactly. We were decorating the front bedroom, so no curtains. It was dark and my husband and I saw a bright ball of fire about half a mile away drop slowly from the sky, then just before it reach the level of the tops of trees, it changed into an upside down Y shape, still an orange fiery glow.

Then just before it dropped below the trees another ball of light appeared at about the same level as before (around 25 degrees up) and again as this dropped slowly it changed into an upside down Y shape in the same way as before.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My brother and I were walking our dog in fields when we saw a silver, yet oil on water shimmering coloured high domed object hovering high in the sky. It had a disc shape bottom with lights around it.

It darted very quickly to the side, then a few seconds later it shot vertically upwards. We didn't see it anymore. I’ve never spoke of this and my memory is clear of the object, but not the exact date.

Lights Darting Around The Night Sky Over Kent UK

Hi Brian, Thanks for replying - here is what I saw.

July 1982 - Kent

Driving through the winding country lanes of Kent late in the evening, we saw what I can only describe as 'headlights' in the sky quite some way away. I couldn't work out why there were headlights in the sky and thought they must be from our car as they were moving from left to right and back again. I knew this wouldn't be the reason, but couldn't think of anything else.

We stopped the car and watched the lights darting backwards and forwards. This then stopped and one light just stayed there, not that high up in the clear sky and didn't move, but seemed to be getting smaller. Not sure how long we watched this for, a few minutes at least. Then we drove on. It felt 'strange' and we couldn't think of any reasonable explanation as it certainly wasn't from a helicopter or plane.

30 Orange Glowing Balls Over Southborough Tunbridge Wells Kent England UK

Date: December 31, 2010 and January 1, 2011

Time: Evening and after midnight.

Last night in Southborough Tunbridge Wells Kent England I saw numerous strange lights. Firstly upon leaving my sister-in-laws I saw around six of these strange orange glowing balls approaching from different directions. They moved at irregular speeds sometimes almost stopping then speeding up again. When I turned around they had almost formed a perfect circle then seemed to slowly vanish.

As I drove home which is only ten minutes away I noticed lots more orange glowing balls. Sometimes on their own sometimes in clusters. Some of them seemed to be moving rapidly some seemed motionless. None of which represented a plane or fireworks (although there were plenty going off). My partner insisted they must be fireworks or possibly fire lanterns. However they moved in different directions from different angles at different and varying speeds. They were very unnerving! In total I must have seen around 30 of these lights.

3 Orange Lights In The Sky Over Kent Hawkhurst UK

Hi there, I was just browsing the Internet after seeing orange lights In the sky moving quite fast. There was 3 of them, In different directions, I am in Kent, Hawkhurst, great Britain and the 3rd one I saw was moving at a very fast speed.

The first 2 I saw I didn't really see how fast they where moving as I was driving at the time, but as I got home I saw another one and shouted my hubby to take a look. We both agreed, including my 15 year old daughter that this is no plane. At 6:25pm on Sunday 28th Nov 2010 I saw these lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving my daughter to school and we saw a light glow in the dark sky and it shot across the sky and disappeared. We thought it was a shooting star, but it went straight. Then when I told my husband that night, he said when he was dropping my son at work around the same area. My son saw it to, as he said it appeared and moved side to side before shooting off into the dark. It was like the back of a jet when it starts, that's how I can describe the light at first.

We live in Michigan. The sighting was on Kent Lake Road between Silver Lake Road and Grandriver that’s where we were, but it was off in the distance in the sky. Not sure if it was Brighton or South Lyon Boundary. Thanks so much .If I was by myself they would of never believed it!

Just Googled this and found your site. This evening I saw an orange ball of light over my house, quite high up, through the window. I thought it must be the glass which had distorted a normal plane light, but I went into the garden and it was the same. I thought it must be a plane on fire. but there's nothing in the news.

It was 7.20pm and I live in Beckenham Kent. It was heading in the same direction as the airplanes so towards South East - very similar to your story.

Bright Orange Red Object Over Kent Rochester Southeast Of England

Date: Week of October 1 to October 7, 2010

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I have been looking up UFO sightings since last week, as I too saw a bright orange red object in the sky, it was just after 10:00pm. I was sitting on the sofa and I saw this bright object over the houses opposite from me.

I went outside to look at what it was, but the object was moving so fast, heading in the direction of Maidstone, and within seconds it was out of sight. I fetched my camera and sat up for 4 hours afterwards sky watching, but never saw anything else. There was no way it was an plane as it was round and bright orange red, and too large for a plane

I told a friend about this who thought I was crazy, but these other sightings the same night have convinced me even more it was a UFO.

PS: forgot to say Kent/Rochester is in the southeast of England about 30 miles from London.

Orange Light Outside Bexley Kent England UK

Hi, I live just outside Bexley Kent England. I have just read a piece that was written about an orange light sighting. I am astounded. I was sitting in my front room last night, I do not draw my blinds unless really cold. I all of a sudden noticed an orange light in the sky. It was so bright.

I watched it for a few seconds and then asked my husband to look out the front door to see if it was still there. He said he saw it moving very fast and then nothing. I also thought it was a lantern, but it was moving too quick and it was so orange. What was it?
