Bright Red Almost Electric Looking Object Over Rochester New York

Colour of Object: Bright Red.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Our apartment faces west, so we have a clear view of Eastman Kodak's headquarters and their tower.

To the right and a bit above the tower, we witnessed a rather large bright red orb that flitted around the area and seemed to graze the spire of the tower. After about five minutes, it began to slowly fade, and drift behind the tower, then we saw nothing after that.

We have witnessed many madarin orange orbs in the last few years in Rochester, but this is the first time we saw a bright, (almost electric looking) red one.

Bright Orange Lights/Objects Seen In The Sky Outside Of Rochester New York

Time:  Evening.

We live on the southern shore of Lake Ontario outside of Rochester, NY, and we've seen these orbs many times. They're out there right now, incredibly bright.

Orange Lights Over The Rochester New York Area

My husband and I both witnessed orange lights traveling in a linear path over Rochester area on 7/4/14 around 10:00 p.m.

We saw them twice in a series of 3-4 lights traveling west-southwest to east-northeast.

Fast Moving Bright Light Seen Flying Over Rochester Minnesota

 

Date:  April 10, 2012

Time:  Between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

 

Hello, my name is (name removed) and I live in Rochester, MN. 

I saw something strange in the sky sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It was really bright and moving fast in the eastern sky. 

 

Initially I thought it was a satellite, but I've never seen one that bright before. I was interrupted while watching this light.

 

About 20 minutes later, my neighbor called me, and she was really shook up and described to me the same thing that a witness saw.  

I only seen the one light, but with my neighbor seen the same thing that that witness saw. I think this confirms that we are not crazy. 

You saw this on 4/10/2012 right? Just making sure.

3 To 4 Red/Orange Colored Lights Spotted Over Fairport Rochester New York (Chinese Lanterns)

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I saw almost exactly what is described in the article on your site titled, “Bright Red Lights Stun Witnesses And Seen In The Sky Over Patchogue New York”.  3 or 4 reddish/orange lights moving slowly then quickly. 

I was driving at the time and I’m so disappointed I didn’t take a video or picture. 3 of them seemed to form a triangle at one point, but then changed shape again. 

They would move in unison sometimes, but then only one or two would move. 

They made absolutely no sound that I could hear even as I parked my car. My neighbor also saw it, although we didn’t discuss it until the next day. 

Have you heard anything else about this sighting? 

I was in a suburb of Rochester, NY called Fairport and this occurred at about 10 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2012. I thought for sure I would read or see something on the news about it, but I haven’t been able to find anything!

Orange Fire Like Objects Over Seabreeze Rochester New York

 

Date:  November of 2010 and April 21, 2011

Time:  Evenings.

 

My fiancé and I live on Lake Ontario in Seabreeze, Rochester, NY. We have seen these lights on 3 occasions. November of 2010 and last night! Orange "fire-like" lights glowing or twinkling then slowly fading away.

 

I have tried to get pictures and video but it only comes out as an orange orb of light. The bright light is hovering over the horizon and then we could see a few other not so bright lights near or moving towards the large orange light.

 

We also looked through night vision and it looked like green rays of light shining into the sky. It was there for at least 2 hours last night. If you have any other questions please let me know, and my fiancé can probably give you more info, he stayed up later than I  to watch the lights.

Three Lights Seen Over Rochester New York

I live in Rochester, New York and I also just seen 3 of these lights over my head outside at 8:05 about an hour ago. I just came inside after staring in the sky for over an hour waiting for more.

 

I seen they completely disappeared after passing my over head.

4 Very Bright Orange Lights Seen From Rochester New York

 

Date:  November 3, 2011

Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

 

My husband and I have seen these lights at least 4-5 times in the last 2 years. We live in Rochester, NY on Lake Ontario, right where the lake goes into the Irondequoit bay. Tonight being one of these times. Around 8:30 p.m. we saw 4 very bright orange lights, close in formation, over the water.

 

Looking through our binoculars they appeared to be floating over the water. These were brighter and closer than the other times. They stayed, hung out, faded in and out and then totally disappeared.

 

There were very dim smaller lights around the larger lights. No sound, very quiet. Let me know if you have any questions!

Dark Triangular UFO Witnessed Over Rochester Kent UK

Date: April 2010 ?

Time: Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed), 37, and I live in Rochester Kent. Around the same time last year I was standing outside our back door to our conservatory and as usual I look up at the stars. I first thought I saw a low plane, but at second look there was a dark triangle shaped aircraft running at a slow steady pace heading towards the direction of Walderslade.

There were no sound coming from the craft as if it was like a hand glider and each corner had a bright red light (non flashing, like a normal aircraft would have white and red flashing lights). I called my step son out and we both witnessed it over our heads and in to the distance. My first thoughts was that it was a low satellite, but surely it was to much of an odd shape for one of those, so second thought it was a military aircraft.

I have looked all over the net, but found no such military craft, but a lot of similar sightings to ours and all come back with the same answer, unidentified flying object. Please let me know if you have any more info on this as I am baffled. Thanks.

Round Orange Ball Of Fire Over Rochester New York

It was approximately 8:15pm when I was driving home in my car on New Year's Day night. When I turned down my street traveling south, I saw a large, orange, very bright light. My initial thought was that something had happened to the streetlight. As I drew closer, I discovered that this bright light was actually a ball of fire. It was to my left, on my driver's side, and was now lower than the top of the streetlights.

I continued to drive while looking at this object that I simply could not identify. It almost appeared that part of it was of plastic material with the remaining being this incredible orange burning fire. Now in front of my home, I was quickly fumbling to grab my garage door opener so I could summon my husband see this burning object. I tried to keep looking back to make sense of it.

Every time I looked at it, something did not seem right, and a very bad, unpleasant feeling overcame me. I tried thinking that it may be paper or something that caught on fire that the wind took away, but it simply did not remotely resemble anything of the sort. I looked again as I was running towards my back door, and it just hovered for a while in the same place. I was so frightened and shook up, all I could think of was getting my husband outside to witness this fiery object along with me.

I pushed open the door and screamed for my husband. Within less than half a minute, my husband was outside beside me. Within these few seconds, this ball of fire had now ascended into the sky over my neighbor's house and was traveling northeast. We both watched this round orange ball of fire go further and further into space, gradually getting smaller and smaller. This "thing" traveled at a speed no natural floating object could duplicate. I have never had an experience like this before.

Neither my husband nor I were under any influence of any alcohol or do any drugs. I was so scared and felt so unsettled, I searched for someone to contact. I then made a call to a UFO hotline. After all, what I saw was an unidentified object that was literally flying in the air. The man I spoke to conveyed to me that in the past 20 hours he had been flooded with calls from various states that had similar sightings.

This information is very unnerving to me. No one seems to be able to explain it. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I do know that no natural object could hover and ascend back into the sky like it did.

Bright Orange Red Object Over Kent Rochester Southeast Of England

Date: Week of October 1 to October 7, 2010

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I have been looking up UFO sightings since last week, as I too saw a bright orange red object in the sky, it was just after 10:00pm. I was sitting on the sofa and I saw this bright object over the houses opposite from me.

I went outside to look at what it was, but the object was moving so fast, heading in the direction of Maidstone, and within seconds it was out of sight. I fetched my camera and sat up for 4 hours afterwards sky watching, but never saw anything else. There was no way it was an plane as it was round and bright orange red, and too large for a plane

I told a friend about this who thought I was crazy, but these other sightings the same night have convinced me even more it was a UFO.

PS: forgot to say Kent/Rochester is in the southeast of England about 30 miles from London.
