Stationary Orange Object/UFO In The Sky Over San Jose California

Date:  December 4, 2014
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Last night around 7:30 or so, I saw something similar to this. I was on Almaden and Humboldt in San Jose when I saw it.

It was a stationary orange orb looking thing, it was pretty big. It was pretty high up in the sky.

I thought it was a plane or something, but it never seemed to move. Did anyone else see it?

Group Of Red Lights In A Triangular Shape Floating Across The Sky Over San Jose California

Date:  January 24, 2014
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

1/24/2014 around 9:30 p.m. I saw a group of red lights, no sound, in a triangular shape floating slowly in a northern direction from Willow Glen towards Alum Rock, Berryessa area.

I live under the flight path for SJC and I found it odd since planes never fly in that direction. What was it in San Jose ?

Two Bright V Shaped Lights Seen From South San Jose California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two very bright V-shaped lights above Hwy. 87. Moon just a sliver, but other lights bright with one appearing to have tendrils.

 

Others seem to be same size but less bright.

Back To Back Green Flashes Seen In The Sky North Of San Jose California

 

Date:  March 10, 2012

Time:  7:00 p.m.

 

We saw a very similar flash at 7:00 p.m. in the western part of the sky. We were driving North from San Jose, CA. Our batteries did not die, but there were two back to back greenish flashes that filled the sky.

 

These flashes were too big to be lightening. No other characteristics of lightening were present.

8 Glowing Orange Objects/Lights Over San Jose California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My neighbor came by to say hi, but said what the hell is that? It was around 8:40ish while I was watching the SJ Sharks Hockey game in my garage.

 

I looked over my roof line and towards Morgan Hill area were about 8 glowing orange balls.This was 8:40ish p.m. and at first I thought they were flares, but they were moving erratically.

 

At first staying still then moving rapidly. This was Cambrian area facing Morgan Hill. I saw them for several minutes. I Googled the sighting and it looked very similar to other sightings shown, multiple round objects moving unnaturally.

 

I am not saying they are not from this world but it was highly unnatural.

Helicopter Appears To Chase Possible UFO Seen From San Jose California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went out onto my patio because I heard a military chopper flying over (I am under Moffit Fields Air Base flight path), and I wanted to see it, because it sounded like it was flying faster than usual for them. I looked over in the direction of the AFB and saw a white circular light hovering and around moving in different directions.

I could tell it was a distance away from my house (maybe closer to Mountain View, CA), but it was so erratic in it's moving around. It then dashed to it's left which blocked my view because of a tree. When it emerged, it was dimming out, and moving slower and straight. It then darted off towards the direction of the base and the chopper appeared to chase after it, and I lost line of sight due to buildings.

I believe in "UFO's", and after last night, I decided to Google "strange lights over San Jose Ca" and found this website. I bookmarked it for reference for now on. Thank you for having this site available, and will keep everybody posted if I see more!

Strange Lights Over San Jose California

I am in the Safeway parking lot and saw exactly what you saw back in January of 2010 tonight, (March 12, 2010) however this one flew over the lot at a slow speed. I couldn't tell the dimension or shape, however it looked exactly as you described in your post (immediately Goggled strange lights, San Jose, CA) right down to the blinking out.

Three Orange Lights Over San Jose California

I was on my porch and I saw 3 strange orange lights. I live right off 280 and Leigh, so I did a Google search and this led me to you. White Beams Of Light Shoots Downward Seen Above East San Jose California USA

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was at a New Years eve party at my step-sister's house. Me and a few friends were outside, when my step mom came out to take pictures of the glowing circle around the full moon that was out that night. We were all looking up at the sky, when I looked a ways down and saw a white beam shooting down.

At first I thought it was a police helicopter. As it got closer I notice no noise or the blue and red lights that are typical on helicopters and planes. As the beam got closer, I noticed the beam became more horizontal instead of vertical. As soon as it was completely vertical, it shot over our heads like a shooting star leaving a white trail behind it.

As soon as that happen, simultaneously another object shot in the opposite direction leaving a dark grayish straight trail. The two lines were parallel to each other and completely straight. The two streaks started coming together never changing their width or straightness. We were all looking up in amazement telling each other "are you seeing this?" We kept watching as two lines met and you can see what looked like little partials showering down. No one could explain what happen that night.

The following weekend me and another friend from the NYE party met up with some other friends and we talked about what we seen and to our amazement. They witness the same event we seen. The next day one of my friends showed me a posting from this site that was similar to what we saw. All we can come up with is that we live close to Livermore Lab and who the heck know what goes on over there. Hopefully this gets to the right person and they can explain what was in the sky that night.

Bright Stationary Golden Orange UFO Over West San Jose California

Did anyone report seeing a very bright stationary golden orange light in West San Jose CA tonight?

This thing was dimensional, it had depth to it and appeared to be backlit, but there was definitely no light source shining up at it from behind.

It caught my eye as my husband and I were driving home after exiting Hwy 280 at Bird Avenue and heading toward Willow Glen. I assumed it was a plane in a holding pattern at first, but quickly realized that it couldn't be because it appeared to be square shaped. So we made a u-turn and stopped the car to stare at it, and when we were closer to it, it seemed to have a more of a pointed star-like outline to it (although not in a perfectly symmetrical way).

Eventually it began blinking out and then rapidly moving upward on a diagonal.

It was very unique looking and distinctly bright and golden-orange in color.

If it had stayed low I would have written it off as some strange promotional light projection by a tech company in the valley, but the fact that it blinked and began moving so far away so rapidly eliminated that possibility.

I called 211 (our non-emergency community hotline) the lines were so backed up it went to voicemail, and I didn't leave a message. I was more interested in knowing if anyone else had reported the strange light in sky tonight.

As soon as I arrived home I googled "San Jose UFO sighting" but didn't see any postings from tonight. Then I found a posting on your sight from someone in San Jose a few days back.

So I am curious if anyone reported this sighting to you. It occurred at approximately 11:30pm on Wednesday 1/6/10 in West San Jose.

Two Reddish/Orange Lights Over San Jose California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were outside by the bonfire at my sisters house on the Westside of San Jose, my sister said "what are those". When I turned to look, I saw two reddish/orange very low lights traveling side by side. At first they appeared to be really close in height and as they passed the house they seemed to have gone a little higher. One went to the left side of the circle around the blue moon and one went to the other side. As they passed one went ahead of the other, but the one that was closer to the ring around the moon and above us it was still kind of hovering like a helicopter would. Only there was no sound like a helicopter would make.

It seemed like a long time that I was in awe staring at them and there was even enough time for me to run into the house to turn off the stereo and come back out to look and try to listen. The light was still there hovering, when it started to move again the other that was horizontal to. It blinked twice and the one above us blinked as if they were communicating. The one that was already further away stayed for a little while longer then all of a sudden disappeared and the one that was still in the sky moved in the same direction the first one was at. I don't know what they were, but know for a fact that they were not planes, weather balloons, satellites, or helicopters. I wonder if anyone else in the neighborhood seen.

I called my daughter who was actually at my cousins on another part of the Westside and asked her to look in the sky if she could see the incredible lights, but she said she only saw the blue moon and the intense ring around it. They were low enough to see that the movement of them made them look as if they were blinking at times, kind of shimmery looking. Strange, but hard to explain at the same time.
