Blue Flash Of Light Then Witness Observes Cylinder Shaped UFO Over Boksburg South Africa

Hi there, strange enough, but last year I was travelling down Atlas road in Boksburg and noticed a blue flash of light in the sky. When I looked up I saw what looked like a cylinder shape object travelling at extreme high speed towards the airport.

I saw this for about 10 seconds and then it completely vanished. I then searched Google and see that on the same day someone else saw the exact same thing.

This is so strange cause it was definitely an object not from here. It would never be allowed to fly close to the airport. Have you had any more sightings of this or similar. Thanks.

Grey Metal Cylinder UFO Spotted Flying Over Campbell River British Columbia

Time:  9:10 p.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Soup can/cylinder.
Colour of Object: Grey metal/red and green lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: The craft was hovering/ suspended in the sky at a low altitude. It had a very bright red light and a very bright green light.

The object dropped straight down very fast to below the tree line and continued to hover. There was no sound.

From its new altitude, it began moving side to side. Precise and soundless.

Blue Cylinder UFO Descends To The Ground In Milton North Dakota

Time:  After dark.

Number of Objects: 1-2
Shape of Objects: Cylinder and round with wings that cured inward.
Colour of Object: Blue.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was out walking the Coulee bottom early evening when I saw this blue cylinder light descending down low over the ground.

It continued down and grew in length, then after a few minutes, a second object seemed to come out of the Ribbed cylinder tube and proceed to move away from me.

It was the same blue color, it was round in the center with a pair of wings that curved out and under like a snakes Vera bra and ribs only a tighter curve.

By size and shape it look as if it fit perfectly in the tube, as if transported by or through it.

It suddenly zipped away at great speed and suddenly it and the tube light vanished at the same time.

Cylinder Of Light Seen Over North East Ohio In Geauga County (Diagram/Map)

Time: Evening.

Message: Hi Mr. Vike, I received the Filer Files from the ufomig group. After clicking Filers #4 I scrolled down and came to the article I believe you supplied. It was the Large cylinder of light seen in Maryland. I had an experience in 1959 or 1960. I lived in a suburb of Cleveland Ohio and was on a double date going to a rock and roll party at an amusement park called Geauga Lake Park.

This is located in North East Ohio in Geauga County. The place was packed and they waved us by. We went to the end of the road and came back going in a North West direction. When we reach about a quarter of a mile from the entrance, a bright column of light appeared on the South side of the road in an open area of scrub brush and grass. There was a narrow creek running through the center of the circle of light.

The diameter was about 100 to 150 feet and the height about 400 to 500 feet. You could see the clouds going by where the light shined on them. There was some static sparks coming off the sides of the column. The night was pitch black and there were no street lights. The edge of the light was 100 to 150 feet away from me.The two girls that were in the car went crazy with fear, thinking the world was coming to an end.

My date wouldn't let me walk over to get under the light. After 20 or so minutes, the light just blinked off. The Cleveland Press, (local paper) said "hundreds of people seen the Aurora Borealis last night at Geauge Lake Park". I was there and it certainly was no Aurora sitting a hundred feet from me.

I did report this to mufon, but only 48 or 49 years late. Is this the first time any one has seen something like this? I've been looking for more sightings as this one, but no one seems to know anything about them. Thanks for your time.

High Brian, I just listened to your show with Chris the fellow from Maryland. It seems his light was much, much larger in diameter than the one I saw in '59 or '60. Do you think people will want to here about it even if it's almost 50 years ago? As I was thinking back, the diameter could have been a little larger than 150 feet., but not a mile like Chris said. Also my sighting lasted for at least 20 minutes or more.

I've had 4 other sighting besides the light. If you like I could tell you about them. The span of sightings covers fifty yrs. The first was when the Russians sent Sputnik up, I believe that was 1958, and the last sighting was June 30 2007. The light was my 2nd sighting, and lasted the longest.

Hi Mr. Vike, I Googled the area where I was when I seen the cylinder of light. I also sketched about what I saw. I'm not a very good artist, as you can see, it is not to scale. I'm sending this so you can get a good idea of what I'm talking about and what it looked like.

I can still picture the event as though it was yesterday. The owners of the Park closed it down after many years. As you can see, there are a lot of houses around the area. Back then it was nothing but a rural area with not much on Ohio state route 43.

The area with the white circle represents where the cylinder of light was. It was a swampy area back then and still looks to be the same, except for the housing area. I am waiting for your e-mail to fix a time for your call. I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Police Officer Observes Huge Cylinder Craft Hovering And Smaller Disc UFO Land In Northport Florida

Date:  February 4, 1991
Time:  Around noon.

On February 4, 1991 at about 12 noon while traveling north on route 41 in Northport I saw a huge cylinder UFO hovering above an intersection of I think Jacobean Road and a 4 or 6 lane highway with a divider.

I stopped at a light at the intersection behind a car carrying 3 women. There was also a Northport cop working an accident at that intersection. As I (and by the way I was also a Lee County Sheriff Department in a patrol car) was about to turn right into the highway, the woman in front of me swerved and went off the road.

They were all looking up and seemed to be panicking. I then looked up also and saw a huge UFO. Other cars across the road pulled over and watched too. While under the thing, I noticed  a smaller disc at about 100 feet high moving across the road.

It stopped and hovered, then did a falling leaf kind of thing then disappeared momentarily then reappeared  at a lower altitude and then landed in the woods off the highway. I continued to Fort Myers for my meeting. 

When returning off RT75 I went to that area where I thought it landed and found nothing. The next day I returned to the area and searched for landing gear impressions and found none.

I noticed that this place was a large area with a grid of over grown streets as if it were to be a subdivision, so it could of landed anywhere. I might add that the UFO looked at first like a blimp, but when I got under it I saw that it was metallic in nature and very big.

I'm thinking the disc came out of the UFO which I actually didn’t see happening. At that time I heard nothing of other witnesses and never heard of anyone else seeing this.

To this day it's always on my mind. I have over the years contacted several UFO organizations to no avail.

UFOs Seen Over Two Nights - Black Triangle And Huge Cylinder Craft Seen Over Oconomowo Wisconsin

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hello, my name is (name removed), I am from Oconto, Wisconsin and have been seeing things in our skies for the past month.

It all started last month in September my husband and our 3 children went to Oconomowoc to visit his mother and brother.

On our first night there we went for a walk, my husband and I by ourselves around the city.

We stopped by the local lake and were just sitting there on a bench overlooking the water at about 10:00 p.m. central time.

Approximate date was September 19, 2012. As we were sitting there I noticed a flashing red light approaching us from the left in the sky, I at first thought it was a helicopter or plane.

We continued talking and it circled back around the lake towards us, still flashing its red light.

At this point I pointed it out to my husband and we both noticed there was no sound coming from this craft. Our curiosity got the better of us and we started to follow it the best we could.

We went on a point of land that went out towards the water and noticed about 3 other objects in the night sky seeming to almost be going around in circles.

We looked over towards downtown Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and noticed a triangular black craft hovering very low over the buildings with the red blinking object up above it.

At that point a brilliant streak of white light like a comet flashed above our heads and joined the red blinking light above downtown.

I could not believe what we were seeing and ran home to his mothers house for her and his brother to see these craft.

They came out on the back stairs of her apartment also located in downtown Oconomowoc and they also observed these craft flying around.

We continued to walk around the town for a couple hours and observed these craft the whole time we were out there.

The next night around dusk we were walking to the local park to get our vehicle and passed a young couple walking by us, and my husband made the comment to them hey did you guys see all those UFO's last night?

The male answered no, but we want to see if we can see them tonight because we heard about it.

We continued on our way until we got to the bridge that crosses over the lake and at that point my husband screams out "there it is", there it is, look at that.

At which point I looked up and saw a light way up in the sky. At that point I saw a bright white light coming from the right of the bridge very, very low.

I turned at that point forward to run away terrified and there was a huge cylinder shaped object with colored windows all around it about 200 feet above my face.

I ran terrified for my life thinking they were going to hurt us, since they were down so low and seemed to come out of nowhere in a residential neighborhood no less.

There were 4 male witnesses to this event also, what be came of them after that, I have no idea as we had passed them on our way crossing the bridge.

Sorry if I'm all over the place with this, but this event has changed my life and thinking so much it's terrifying.

We ran to our vehicle and started it up and sped off to his mothers house and called the police to report what happened, they basically laughed at me and said they would check into it.

The craft we saw with the all the colored windows, was spotted again when looking out his mothers window in the apartment, by myself and his mother and brother hovering over main street about 2,000 feet with white lights going all along the side of it.

I honestly thought at that point we were being invaded and as scared to death. We are not crazy people, we are a young couple with 3 young children that just wanted to visit our family for a long weekend and the whole experience has changed my life.

I try talking to other people and they acted like we are crazy. I am so glad that other people are witnessing this phenomenon also, so we don't feel so alone.

Ever since this happened, we can look out and almost always spot something in the sky that is not of terrestrial nature. I've been doing so much praying to keep our family safe from whatever is going on.

It was intriguing at first, but when they came out of nowhere right above our heads and it scared the hell out of me especially since we have been seeing them repeatedly since this has happened.

I don't even like to go out at night anymore because I don’t want to see these things ever again.

Bright Neon Green Cylinder UFO Over Woodlands Texas

 

Date:  Summer 2007 or 2008

Time:  Approx: 3:00 a.m.

 

Subject line read: Large Green Cylinder Shape.

 

It wasn't in Tennessee but my sister and I were out and about around 3:00 a.m. probably three or four years ago now and we both looked up saw what looked like a bright neon green light.

 

Eventually with out making any sound what so ever it flew very low over our heads and continued straight and then continued at a slow pace out of sight on a straight path.

 

All while making no sound. Thought you might find that interesting.

Long Cylinder UFO With Red Lights On It Over Valdez Alaska

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My son went out to start his truck when he saw two lights in the sky. He called me too come out and look and when I got out side, I saw two slow moving orbs close together. As we watched they started to move apart and that’s when I realized it was a long shape with a red light on each end.

There was no noise and it was a clear night, dead calm, still air. We watched as the orbs started to move over the pipeline terminal and then just disappeared like someone flipped a switch. They were round and very red and did not blink or flash. It lasted about 8 minutes from the time I saw them, to when they vanished.

Bright Cylinder Shaped UFO And Another Object Over Cornwall Ontario

Time: Approx: 2:30 p.m.

Hey Brian, I was walking to my parents house yesterday eve around 2:30pm when I looked up at the sky and noticed a very bright cylinder shaped object moving slow.

At first I thought it was a plane, but then I noticed it had no wings and not only that, but under it, there was another object moving at almost the same speed.

They must of been about 100 feet apart and moving so very slow. There is no way a plane could stay hovering like this.

I ran to the house to get my father and show him. I just took my eye off the higher cylinder object for only a second and when I looked back, it had vanished into thin air literally.

One minute it was the brightest thing in the sky, the next minute it was gone with out a trace.

We then watched the other object float away at a very slow rate of speed and this all happened in about a 5 to 10 minute span. I thought this was real cool, because I had never seen a UFO in daylight before.

Flaming Orange Shaped Cylinder Over Marinette Wisconsin

I live in Marinette WI, around 7:30pm tonight, my two sons and I witnessed an orange shaped cylinder with a flame burning in the middle of it. It moved north west and it turned into a globe shaped object and lasted only about ten more minutes till it went out of sight, this was the most amazing thing that I ever witnessed in my life.

Bright Cylinder Shaped UFO Comes To A Stop Over Richmond Hill Ontario

Hi, I was just reading your blog about spotting a UFO on Oct 09, 2010. It was roughly 6:00pm when I noticed a extremely bright cylinder shape UFO falling towards earth at an unknown speed, when suddenly came to complete stop in
mid-air. When I was witnessing this, an airplane flew past, so they must've seen this bright light travelling at such speed.

I can't remember at which direction the airplane was traveling at, but I'm sure that the passenger and the pilot witnessed this phenomenon. Shortly after while I was looking at this object, a 2nd object appeared, but in further distance.
This was a identical light and shape, and it was also not moving at all. Thank You.

Gun Metal Black Cylinder/UFO Over Kelowna British Columbia

Shape of Objects: Black cylinder.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was called out to the balcony on December 10, 2009 at 15:50 by a co-worker who had been looking at large black cylinder in the clear sky for several minutes already. He asked, "do you see what I see? Is that what I think it is?" There was a third person on the balcony who was listening to our conversation while looking at the black cylinder, however she did not comment whatsoever.

I saw this gun-metal black cylinder, which to me seemed massive as it was very high in the sky. It was roughly at a 35-40 degree angle with a small contrail and was moving very slowly at first. It seemed to stop, hover, then resume it's slow speed (I have found an online photo of the exact object we saw, pretty much the same size and position at www.thetechherald.com in an article called 'Mystery Cylinder UFO Spotted Over British Holiday Resort'-Stevie Smith).

It behaved this way for approximately 10 minutes. I had to leave the scene to tend to work. Roughly 3 minutes later this same co-worker came to me and said the cylinder accelerated at an unthinkable speed then disappeared. We both had never seen anything of this sort!

That night I explained it to my husband who is ex-military, and he did not have an explanation either! Now, today, September 2, 2010 I heard on the local radio station that at 08:15 several people had called in a blue light that had a small contrail, which hovered, then disappeared. A speaker from the local observatory said the only things this phenomenon could be are remnants of asteroid belt that recently passed through Kelowna (of which a small meteorite hit a construction site!) that hit the stratosphere or a "spacecraft".

For the rest of the day I have noticed an unusual amount of activity in the sky in a relatively contained area. It seems to be military action as up to 7 high-speed crafts flying extremely high (with decent binoculars all I could see were thin, slightly triangular silver crafts. They also reflected a lot of light). These crafts left long double contrails and flew in all directions, two of which were flying behind each other as if chasing, patrolling... or whatever. Today's activity is in the same 'area' as the black cylinder I witnessed with ! my co-worker eight and a half months earlier.

Large Cylinder UFO Hovering Near Arvest Ball Park NW Arkansas

Time: Mid-morning.

Yesterday, August 26, 2010, my husband and a friend saw a very large cylinder object hovering around Arvest Ball Park. Maybe 300 - 400 feet in the air. At first they thought it was a plane, but it wasn’t moving and had no wings. It was not flat and big like a blimp. It was silver with a white area. This was mid-morning. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It disappeared seconds later as they tried to look closer. My husband was in the air force and he said it was not a plane. Have there been any other sightings?

They don't want people to think they are crazy. They are still talking about it today.

Cylinder Of Light Over Cleveland Ohio

Time: Approx: 9:45 p.m.

Cylinder light in west shy over Cleveland Ohio. It was constant red then blue the yellow. It stayed in one spot for about 45 min then went straight north behind buildings.
It would go on for a couple min then go out. Weird.

Additional Information:

It was last night, 7/17/10, at about 9:45 pm. This thing would be tall for a bit, then turn diamond shape, when it changed colors. By the time I got to my brothers house with my telescope it was gone. He got it on his video camera. He saw it and called me and I saw it at my shop. It couldn't have been a planet cause it stayed in the exact spot for almost an hour, then moved horizontal to the north. Let me know if anyone else seen it please. My brothers neighbor seen it also.

Cylinder Shaped Illuminated UFO Over Kamloops, British Columbia

Time: 2:00 a.m.

Kamloops 1998 2:00 a.m. clear and cloudless June. A cylinder shaped illuminated craft flew over my head and straight down the center of town and the valley at around 5000 feet it was huge silent and moved at around 15 mph.

Sunday the next day I asked locals at the coffee shop about what I had seen and was told it was a common thing to see lights in the sky here.

Huge Cylinder Of Light In Maryland

Location of Sighting: Maryland
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: A very large cylinder of light.

Full Description of event/sighting: While driving south on 270 heading towards Washington, DC, still about 40 miles form DC I saw a very large beam of light appear on the horizon slightly south east of the Highway. I could tell this beam of light was about 5 miles away. I could see the outline of the hill in front of it. Visibility that night was clear but the clouds were low enough that when the light appeared I could clearly see where it met the clouds. To give you a scope of how big it was, it was as if there were a thousand spotlights all in the same spot turned on at the same time for just a second then it was gone.



The FedEx stadium, the football stadium is in that general direction but there where no football games that night, and even when there are I've never seen a large cylinder of light shining above, around or through that area. I called local radio stations and T.V. news stations to report this, but they thought I was nuts.
