Time: Approx: 9:40 p.m.Hey Brian, I just read on your website about some reports of strange lights over Lake Elsinore/Murriteta last night (Jan 6th). Just wanted to let you know that my girlfriend and I saw the same thing. We were driving south on the 15 around 9:40 pm just north of Elsinore and we saw a streak of light falling from the sky.
It started to break up, so we thought it was a meteor or something, but then it broke up into three segments and each of these pieces seemed to be suspended in mid-air. They formed a triangle and seemed to just sit there for a while. We passed behind a hill and when we looked again, the lights were gone.
It's very possible that these were skydivers but still, I've never seen anything like this ever before. If you figure out what it is, I'd love to know!
