Lights In The Sky Over The East End Of Montreal Quebec

Date:  April 28, 2015
Time:  Approximately 11:30 p.m.

Hi, last night around 11:30 p.m. (April 28, 2015) I saw something in the sky over the east end of Montreal, rivieres des prairies. It was flying slowly towards the northeast.

Because of the clouds, I can’t say if it was saucer shape, but it had a line of light across the middle. The lights were kind of strobe lights? Right to left?

Green to multiple white to red? Cruised slowly until out of sight. When I looked up in the sky I saw three different points with red and green flashing light. Much higher in the sky.

One was moving left right up down the other two just flashing.

The lights high up stayed for at least two hours. I woke up my spouse to be my witness. That’s my story.

Red Light/Object Spotted In The Sky Over Montreal Quebec

Time:  12:00 a.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.
Colour of Object: Red.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sons and I were outside bringing in the New Year, we were looking around and there in the sky this red object was hovering in the sky and it was fading in and fading out.

It suddenly disappeared, than it returned, it was idle in the sky and my son tried to take a photo, but somehow we had trouble opening my mobile phone.

When he did take the picture, it was again fading and we could not see it anymore.

It was in the sky for about 10 to 15 minutes. As soon as my son took the picture, it disappeared.

Large Blue/Green Flash Of Light Over Montreal Quebec

 Date:  February 23, 2013
Time:  Evening.

Hi, I am in Montreal, Quebec Canada and I just saw a huge blue/green light flash across the sky.

I live on the last floor of a 21 floor building and can see pretty far on the horizon. The first flash was at the north west of where I am, downtown Montreal.

I kept looking to see if it would happen again and there was a second flash right over me that lit the entire sky above. None of the lights flickered.

It was very quiet. My windows are open and I could not hear any sound from it. Can you let me know what you think it is. Other than a transformer.

There was no power outage whatsoever.

Lights Circling Around In The Sky Over Montreal Quebec (Pictures)

Time: 8:15 p.m. EST

On Friday evening at 8:15 p.m. est I had a call from a youngster who wanted to make a report on some unusual lights which the family had been watching.

What I didn't realize was that while they were talking to me on the phone, the display of lights were taking place right now.

The youngster asked if I would like to talk to her mother, she called for her to come to the telephone and the mom described what they were observing at the moment.

About an hour before arriving at their home, the family was at the shopping center and mentioned they could see the lights in the sky.

Now calling me from their home, they are looking out the window and watching an amazing display of lights high above them in the sky.

The 4 lights at equal distance from one another stayed in the same area in the sky, they turned around as if one would be looking at a Ferris wheel. She also noticed aircraft moving close to where the lights were.

The witness described the lights as being a neon green in color. She also told me the lights would turn like the hands on a clock, but very quickly, then they would come together in the middle, becoming very bright.

Then the lights would move back out again and perform the same maneuvers all over again but moving faster each time. No sound was heard.

Laval, Quebec Lights

Time: Evening

Another call came in from a gentleman living in the Laval, Quebec area. He said he was watching a display of lights while talking to me on the telephone.

He went on to say what he was watching was very "weird". He said he could see 4 circles of light at a high altitude turning in a circle, again like a Ferris wheel at a high rate of speed.

The witness went and changed phones so he could look at the lights and at the same time giving me a good description of what was going on.

The weather condition were half and half according to the fellow. Meaning it was overcast but one could see clear breaks all throughout the sky.

The lights are going around in a circle (clockwise), then all of the lights would move at the same time towards the center of the circle, then merge which made one very brilliant ball of white light.

The fellow said he was a good distance from any airport, he noticed no aircraft in the area. I asked if any sound could be heard, he said no due to a lot of background noise.

I asked the witness if he knew of any kind of events taking place in the surrounding area that might cause this light display, he had no knowledge of anything going on.

From the time he first saw the lights and the call came to me, the witness had been watching them for approxametly 10:00 minutes.

Just before the end of our conversation, he yelled out and told me the lights went out, they just blinked out !

Brian Vike’s Note: I contacted a CTV station in Montreal today (Saturday October 18, 2003) and left a message to have them call me back at my toll free line.

A reporter telephoned back and I explained what had taken place, and asked did anyone file a report to the T.V. station.

She said yes, one person did contact them and told their story about what was witnessed. I also tried to talk with other media outlets in the area, but it seems darn near everyone is out for the weekend. So messages were left and I hope to hear more on this event.

Also there could be a very rational explanation for what folks saw, but as it stands right now, it is an unknown event until I can at least dig up some more information on it. I will keep everyone updated if more comes in.

If indeed this was not a man made light display, then we do have a major UFO event which has taken place over the province of Quebec, Canada. I almost forgot to add that 2 other families besides the ones in the reports above also witnessed the lights.

Three Flickering Lights Spotted Flying Over Lachine Canal Montreal Quebec

Time:  Approx: 11:30 p.m.

I just saw three lights yesterday by the Lachine Canal around 11:30 p.m.. The first one passed by, very smoothly and steadily with no obvious noise.

It looked like a Chinese lantern, but there's no way that could move like the shape we saw.

I saw an hourglass figure, whereas my friend saw a sphere. We both agreed that it looked like there was a flickering within the light. The next went by 5 minutes later in the exact same flight path, but this time we could see lights more clearly.

The third one passed by about 25 minutes later. We believe that they were Aurora TR-3B aircraft.

Two Green Lights Seen Over Sainte Catherine Montreal (Pictures)

 Date:  May 2, 2014
Time:  A 8:00 p.m. and at 10:00 p.m.

Hi, on this night May 2, 2014 there are two green lights at first there was one at around 8:00 pm and at 10:00 there was one and then it turned into two.

They are stationary and can be seen by anyone looking especially from the west.

The hover over the Guy and Ste. Catherine area and it is something coming form above as the lights get dimmer when the clouds get thicker.

So far they have been there for 2 1/2 hours.

I will watch them as long as I can stay awake.  I asked these kids and they told me that they had seen these lights 3 times over the last two weeks, personally I have not.

I will try to get a phone cam pic of them for you.

Black Colored Object Which Looked Like It Was Burning Up Seen Over Montreal Quebec

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking for something at my desk when I turned and saw outside something odd and said, "what the heck is that?"

 

Then the guy sitting next to me and another person looked. It was blackish and lit up (burning?) with a triangle smoke pointing upward. (from the positioning we had a least)

 

Didn't look like a plane or helicopter. After that it disappeared. The conclusion we came to was that it might have been a piece of space debris that burned up on entry. But another friend after I talked about the event said it was unlikely at that height.

 

It's the first time I see and unidentified flying object, the probably of me looking there at that time was low.

Airline Pilot Observes Orange Light That Ended Up Being A Delta Shaped Triangle Flying Over Montreal Quebec

Time:  10:10 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, I'm a airline pilot, last night April 7, 2012 at 22:10, I was on my front steps in Montreal, Quebec facing west and my attention was drawn towards the south sky to an instant large bright orange light that I initially thought to be an aircraft exploding.

 

I quickly realized that it remained intact and did not separate or break up. It traveled at a speed that was a little faster than a jet would cross the sky, but certainly not the speed that a meteor, asteroid or falling space junk would have.

 

The other thing was that there was no sound or sounds present at all.

 

As it made its path on a heading of approximately 220 degrees magnetic, the glow gradually faded and completely extinguished.

 

Here's the cool part. The sky was 7500' broken, but with a very thin layer. The moon was out in the south sky and this object was between the moon and my position. As this object now flamed out, it entered the area above the clouds and the moon cast its shadow in the thin layer of cloud.

 

I could now see what it looked like. Speed and heading were constant and it's shape was a isosceles triangle with the two equal sides being about 1.5 time longer than the base. As it traveled above the cloud this delta shaped triangle shadow appeared to roll back and forth on the x axis.  

 

I thought this was may be due to the irregular layer of the tops and base of the cloud.

 

Just before it flew over the layer, I was not able to detect any nav or strobes present at all. I would say no lights at all. I observed this object as a shadow as long as I could until it faded from my view. About 3 - 5 minutes later another orange light, but way less bright followed in the same path and speed, but was also much higher.

 

I had my IPhone in my hand for this one and so I filmed it. On the phone it looks like a dot on the screen moving along in the night sky.

 

I called the Montreal area control center (ACC) and find out if they tracked this and I was told they didn't track anything at all. They took my report and # and would forward it DND.

 

I would say it may have been something like a NASA X-43 scram jet.

Object Spotted Over Montreal Quebec (2012 EG5 Asteroid)

I saw something last night in Montreal around that time from where I was ( in ndg) it looked like a big slow moving shooting star. I looked it up and came to the conclusion it was debris off 2012 EG5.

It’s an asteroid that had an extremely close fly by with earth last night around the same time.

Unknown Lights Seen In The Sky Over Montreal Quebec

Hi, I've read on your blog about a sighting in Montreal last night.

 

Just after diner (around 9:15 p.m. ) on the 31st, I was having cigarette with 2 other on the porch. As we were looking at the star, I thought I saw a shooting star. Surprise, the shooting star was moving slower then they usually do, plus there were another one beside it.

 

After a few seconds of surprise, we conclude of an UFO. There were no sound as the two lights moved from southeast to northwest.

 

We only could see light, and we could only assume this thing was huge since the light seems to be far apart. Definitively not an airplane.

 

Then as we keep looking up, about five minutes later we saw 3 lights (triangle shape) following the exact trajectory, but it seems that this one was either smaller or lower.

 

I've been looking around on the net to see if some other people have seen something yesterday, and I'm somehow glad someone else (as posted on your site) saw something as well a bit later on.

Large Triangular Shaped UFO Spotted Over Montreal Quebec

Hi, I read this article and I did see this thing, when the witness described it. I knew, yes I saw the same thing last night in Montreal, April 1st 2012 at around 2:15 a.m.

 

It was moving from southwest to northeast. It had no lights and it made no sound. At one point it was just floating, as if not moving at all.

 

Then it started moving at a very slow speed and it seems to have traveled a great distance from when I saw it, from the time I couldn't see it anymore.

 

It appeared to be well above the stratosphere, very high and it was a very large triangle shaped object, but my friend said it appeared to be a cloud of sparkles.

 

It almost seemed to be a grand traveling swarm of bees, if you will, but it also appeared to be a physical object. I video taped it, but the object is so faint that it can barely be seen at all.

Massive Blue White Object/Light Flew Over Parc Jeanne-Mance Montreal Quebec

Dear Brian, I saw what you saw on Tuesday night. It was so strange. I was walking down Esplanade just next to Parc Jeanne-Mance, and it looked like it was right above me, just in front of me. 

 

First I thought of my mother, who just passed away.

 

It was so quiet all around right after I saw it, like everything was still and silent. Than I thought perhaps the military base on Rachel was setting off flares. 

 

But then I realized that would probably not be legal to do in the middle of the city.

I have been looking on the internet to see whether it was a solar flare or what. It was too big and too close to be a shooting star, but it kind of looked like a massive blue/white shooting star, but not with a round head, more like with several.

What do you think it was? Your post is the first reference to it that I found on the internet.

Bright Thick Blue Light With Orange On One Side Seen Over Downtown Montreal Quebec

I saw it too, believed me I saw it at exactly 10:12 p.m. I was on cam with my boyfriend, he saw my reaction. I was terrified that was speechless and I started crying because I was scared that it was going to fall.

 

What I saw was a bright thick blue light, with a bit of orange on one of the edge.

In Montreal downtown, but I was so close to me since I live on the 3rd floor. On February 28/2012 and 10:12 p.m.

Flash Of Bright Light And Object Streaked Through The Sky Over Montreal Quebec

Last night I was driving home in the west island of Montreal (dollard des Ormeaux) corner of Brunswick and Sources blvd at approximately 10:15 p.m. and I saw a a bright and thick streak of light. It looked like if something were falling.

 

It lasted only a few short seconds and ended with a bright flash. It didn't look like was that high in the sky. More like the distance of a plane rather than stars or planets. The light did not come close to the ground.

 

The flash of light ended while still in the sky. What struck me was the thickness and brightness of the light. It was so brief, however it was remarkable! I was looking on the news to see if there were any other reports as to what this was. February 28/2012 approximately 10:15 p.m.

Bright Orange Yellow Light/Object Seen Over Montreal Quebec

 

Date:  January 1, 2012

Time:  Approx: 12:25 a.m.

 

Hey there Brian, as the New Year approached, yesterday my boyfriend and I were outdoors in Montreal, Quebec waiting for the midnight fireworks. After that around 12:25 a.m. we were still looking in the sky looking to see if any stars were visible.

 

But at the same time we saw a blast of fire, a ball that was round in shape and had gas like features around it. I automatically thought it was a firework still in the air, but my partner assured me that it was too far in the sky to have been that.

 

So as we watched it I noticed that it was approximately the size of a nickel (if you held it to the sky) It was a bright orange/yellow shining light in the sky, obviously not an airplane.

 

It was moving towards the south. I kind of thought it was going to fall on us, but as it go closer it started to disappear. It then became a faded light going into the clouds.

Silver Triangular UFO Over Montreal Quebec

 

Date:  July 2007

Time:  Day time sighting.

 

saw exact same craft over Montreal Quebec, Canada in July 2007. Moving, slowly in a straight line west bound. The object was totally silent and not so noticeable against a blue sky background.

 

No mistake about it, however it was a clear day and I watched it for a good minute.

 

It was no plane!
