Date: February 18, 2010
Time: 3:45 a.m.
Location of Sighting: 2 degrees east of due north.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 3
Shape of Objects: Perfect isosceles triangle of dim stars.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I walk to work every weekday morning at the same time starting due north from my house and saw a formation of dim stars approx. 10 degrees up from the north horizon and a couple of degrees east of north, in a perfect triangle pointing perfectly toward the northern horizon. This was the first time I witnessed this set of stars and being a perfect triangle caught my attention.
This is the second time I have witnessed something in the morning north sky. The previous sighting was on Aug. 24, 2009 which was also a 3 star formation only in a perfect line at the same distance apart as the triangle. This was reported to NUFORC as it was moving.
