UFO Rises Up And Drops Back To The Ground In Houston, British Columbia

Date: March 1 - 7th, 2002
Time: 2:00 p.m.

Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy.
Sighting lasted: Approx: 2 minutes.

Dear sir, I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. I remember seeing it in the early part of March as I said before. I cannot remember the date exactly, but it was about 2:00 p.m. when we saw it. It was a cloudy day with some sunny breaks. I will try to give you the location as best I can. I'm not totally familiar with the area yet, as I live in the town houses across from the duck pond trail. There is a little park there for kids. I was looking out my patio window towards Houston Forest products, but a little off to the side towards the mountains, there is a small mountain or hill I guess you can call it. It kind of looks like a lump and it was almost behind the hill when it rose up into the sky from what I can see.

It left the ground and flew straight up then returned to the ground, straight back down. It zig zagged quite sharply and flew straight back up into the clouds and disappeared. The sighting lasted about 2 minutes in all and from where I was I could not hear nothing. As for the size, it was about the same size as a school bus is long , but totally round, and a metallic silver in color. I only seen it one time. Francois Lake, Grassy Plains (South of Burns Lake) British Columbia UFO

Time: Approx: 12:00 a.m. (midnight)

Weather Conditions: Clear.
Sound: None.
Telephone Interview.

A witness telephoned me saying he had read the newspaper article (Lakes District Newspaper) on the sightings which are taking place around our area. He reports that on February 11 - 15, 2002 he saw something very strange in the night's sky. He lives at Francois Lake, on the south side, and approximately 30 kilometers from the Ferry landing.

He said the night was perfectly dark with the stars shinning brightly. The gentleman said he looked up into the sky, when something caught his eye due to the speed of the object with lights on it. He went on to explain that he has seen a lot satellites, planes, etc.. but this object was like nothing he could compare it to.

He said it almost looked like an aircraft, and when it came into his vision which was closer to his area he was located in, the object then came to a complete "stop" and went totally dark. (meaning the lights went out on the object). Then all of a sudden there was a flash off light which reminded him as if you took a mirror and reflected it off the sunlight and aiming it towards the ground you would have a very bright area lit up. But because it was totally dark he said it was like a ray of light which seemed to be sweeping on the ground.

This witness told me the sighting only lasted a couple of minutes before continuing on it's way at an incredible speed and disappeared. I asked what direction the object came from, he said it came from north and left heading directly south. Also his father-in-law was witness to the sighting also. He went on to say he looked for a reasonable explanation for this sighting as he was not to keen on the idea of "UFOs". But can't seem to find a any explanation. I asked what altitude he estimated the object was at, he said it was very hard to tell, but went on to say he could not believe how powerful the light was. It was almost like if the sun was shinning through the clouds, giving the effect of a beam of light and of course the brightness of it. Once again it looked as if it was looking for something due to the light sweeping (moving around on the ground)

Francois Lake, British Columbia Same UFO That Was Seen In Houston British Columbia

Hi, just adding my story to your list of sightings. I don't believe in space ships etc.., but did see something I did not understand or have an explanation for. On August 23rd about 9:00 p.m. just before dark my husband decided he wanted to take a picture of the sunset at the west end of Francois Lake looking west up the valley to Nadina Mtn.

We drove down to the bridge over the river there and he got out and spent several minutes taking 3 or 4 shots of the sky to the west. While he was doing this, I stayed in the car and watched the sky, thinking that I could see just the smallest sliver of a moon peeking from behind the trees. When he got back into the car, I said something to my husband about getting the moon in a sunset shot and he said what? That is impossible as the moon can't be in that part of the sky what are you thinking? So I said, look at that sliver of light next to the trees, it has been there the whole time you were taking pictures. If it isn't the moon, what is it?

He asked if it had moved, I said no, not at all. Then while we were looking at it, the light did start to move westward. We both watched and puzzled over this for several minutes, then I said that he should try and get a picture of whatever it was. He grabbed his binoculars first and we spent a couple more minutes trying to see what it was that we were looking at. Finally as it was moving farther off, my husband snapped a picture of this light that we could not define and then we left.

Today we got the pictures developed and there is this light far off, but still obviously incandesant and to our surprise we find two other similar, but more distant lights in the photo. I will forward a picture to you when I can get it scanned. I see you have had one other report from Francois Lake, can you tell me what that one was about? Bye now.(my husband and I wish to remain nameless)

Houston, British Columbia UFO Loops Around And Rises Up Over The Mountain

Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

I had a telephone call from a lady telling me she had witnessed something really strange, and that it had really frightened her. She also told me that she had taken video tape of the object as it was heading away from her location, which was in a southwesterly direction.

I made arrangements for the same day to visit and interview her over what she saw. I arrived at the witnesses home (farm) and was greeted by a very pleasant lady, she asked me into their home and we discussed what it was she had seen.


She said at approx: 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening, August 23, 2002 she was at the kitchen sink washing up the days dishes and looking out the window which over looks their large farm.

He eyes caught a large bright light heading down behind the trees, which was at the far end of the families farm.

She told me she could clearly see the shape of the object, and it was cylinder in shape.

Shinny and metallic in color.


To her surprise the object looped around and headed back up into the sky.

At this time of the evening, it was still quite light out, and she had no problem in seeing it.

She ran a grabbed her video camera and took some film of the object as it departed the area.

The witness brought out her video camera and showed me what it was she captured on the tape, and I must say I was really surprised.

My first thought when I saw the object on the tape, was that maybe it was a meteor, but after hearing her explanation of the events this ruled out my thoughts on what it might have been.


If I had to explain what this object looked like, it looked exactly like one of the many movies we see of T.V., where a comet is heading towards earth with a contrail from the tip of it and running a short distance off the back end of it.

But the contrail, if one wants to call it that, had another very shot tail coming out the back end, right in the center.

It almost gave the impression of the flames coming from a fighter aircraft.

But no flames could be seen with this object. The object was massive, and very bright.


It also moved across the sky rather slowly.

After I viewed the tape, the witness said, we are not finished yet. She went on to tell me that about a half hour later, while she was finishing off the dishes she was working on, she watched another "large bright white" object rise up from behind the Telkwa mountain range.

She said straight up, in other words from the base of the mountain heading to the top and then stopped and hovered.

Again she ran to grab her video camera, and started filming this object.

After she watched it rise up from behind the mountain, the object moved to the right along the top of the range.

(Brian Vike's, Note: this is where the video camera ran out of tape, but the witness did think to run and grab another blank tape, and started rolling again).


When she started filming the object once again, it had already reached the end of the mountain range, and was dropping down, but following the contour of the mountain.

She filmed it until it went down behind the tress on her property which blocked the view of the object.

The mountain range is at some distance away from the family's farm across the Bulkley Valley. I wondered if it might be something explainable, but from her description of the event, I soon ruled that out.

The witness dropped into my home the next day to drop off a couple of things I had left behind after the interview and she was still rather frightened due to not knowing what this object was.

She said it gave her the creeps and hoped I would be able to come up with a reasonable explanation to what it was, just to make her feel better about the whole experience.

Houston, British Columbia UFO Ringed By Blue Lights Dropping Sparks

Houston, B.C.

Date: December 8, 2003 Time: approx: 8:45 p.m.

I was stopped today in the mall and pulled off to the side. A lady who I know very well wanted to tell me about something she and her husband and two children witnessed on December 8, 2003 at approx: 8:45 p.m.

Her husband had just picked her up from a friends house and they arrived back home shortly after. They pulled into their long driveway only to see the two kids standing outside yelling and pointed towards the mountain behind their home. The husband stopped the car quickly and both parents jumped out in fear as they had no idea what was wrong, thinking the worst. They almost immediately noticed a white oval shaped object sitting stationary over the back of their property.



The oval shaped object had a solid ring of blue lights which seemed to be moving around the white colored object. A slight and annoying hum could be heard coming from it. The Mother went over and grabbed the two children and went into the house with them, Dad followed close behind. They thought it would be safer than standing outside as they had no idea what is was they were looking at. Once inside the home, they proceeded to a back bedroom, closed the door behind them as not to allow any light from inside the home to give away where they were. (feeling frightened at this time)

But still curiosity was getting the best of them. So they watched the object, still sitting in the exact spot from when they first noted it. The family told me the trees which were below it were all lit up in a white light, and for a good distance around the area. After a total of approx: 4 minutes of watching this unusual craft, it slowly started to move. As it did so the witnesses claimed they could see sparks dropping off the bottom side of it. The sparks were reported to be a white in color. They told me that there was no quick moment to the object, it just rose up rather slowly and as it reached the top of the mountain this is where they lost sight of it. The craft did not blink out, they thought it just crossed over the top and maybe moved down the other side. They reported that whatever it was, was huge.

The husband told me it was not a helicopter, no way! He said we were very close to this thing, and what noise it gave off was minimal, except for this consent humming sound. The husband also said area residents would have been blind not to see this as it was so bright and large in size.
Brian Vike's, The Vike Factor Note: After I talked with the witness in the mall I made arrangements and did go to visit the whole family earlier today. I sat with all of them for a long period of time and I can say this for certain. I believe they saw something really strange as everyone was still very excited over what they saw that evening. I also will be going back tomorrow to look around the area where this object was reported to be hovering.
