Huge Flash Of Blue/Green Light In The Sky Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Time:  4:30 a.m.

I saw something on 12/16/14 at 4:30 a.m. It reminded me of the Aurora Borealis. (Northern Lights)

It was a big flash of blue/green that only lasted about 1-2 seconds.

It was an awesome sight, but I would to know what it was. Does anyone have any ideas?

Strange Lights In The Sky Over Cherry Hill New Jersey

This is in response to north Philly lights seen on October 26, 2014. I too saw about 10 to fifteen lights late night on October 25, 2014. It was very weird. Almost reminded me of Tom Cruise Sci-Fi movie.

Lights Spinning Around Meeting In The Middle Over North Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

I live in North Philadelphia near Temple University and it was a little after 2:00 a.m. and I was watching of all things Ancient Aliens on my laptop lol!  When out of the corner of my eye I see something moving sporadically in the sky.

So I go over to my bedroom window and I see all of these lights spinning around frantically and then meeting in the middle. Sometimes they would follow each other in a circle or they would all circle around individually and then meet in the middle.

It went on for a good while. I woke my 15 year old daughter up so that she could see it and I would know I wasn’t crazy and she was stunned too.

I look out my window and stare at the clouds a lot and I have never seen anything like this. At first I thought it was a searchlight, but then I realized that no one would be playing with a searchlight like that or have that many lights to play with for that long of a time.

The lights were big enough to be seen by anyone who was up that late like me. This all happened this morning 10/26/14.

Large Bright Blue Object Seen In The Sky Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania (Solved - Fireball)

Time:  Evening.

Hi, I just saw a big blue light appear over I-95 in Philadelphia. I've never seen anything like it. It started small, but grew very large. The whole thing seemed to take a few seconds longer than any kind of lightning I've ever seen. It was light blue in color.

A few moments later, a second smaller flash of light occurred. I Googled it to see if I could find some sort of answer as to what it was and came across your post from February 2013.

It seemed like your post and all of the following comments were describing what I saw. I was just wondering if you had ever figure out what it had been.

Bright Object Seen Between Delaware And Philadelphia Pennsylvania (Venus)

 

Date:  March 28, 2012

Time:  Evening.

 

I live in in Pennsylvania just between Delaware and Philadelphia in the USA. I noticed a larger then normal bright object in the sky. It's too close to be a star and doesn't appear to be moving.

 

My wife asked me what I was doing which I told her to come out and take a look. She told me that she had already seen it about two weeks ago. She was at a friends house visiting in Delaware and noticed that there were two objects.

 

Now there is only one and I don't have a clue as to what it is. Do you have any ideas? Looking up.

Bright White Light With Trail Following Behind Over Northeast Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I saw a white ball in the sky last night, December 25, 2011 at about 10:00 p.m. I live in the northeast section of Philadelphia. We were driving south and straight ahead of us appeared a very bright white ball with a trail behind it.

From what I saw it lasted about 30 seconds, and appeared to be heading downward, not across the horizon, more of a falling straight down to earth look? It reminded us of a white flare gun, but traveling in the wrong direction and extremely bright.

Way too bright for a falling star. Just curious if there had been any other reports or an explanation for this? Thanks.

Fiery Orange Light Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Today at about 6:15 p.m. I and 3 others saw a fiery orange object in the southern sky at about the 11’oclock position above the horizon.

 

It lasted motionless for about 5 minutes then faded out.

Fiery Orange Light Seen Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Hello, I live in Philadelphia, PA. Last night at about 9:30 p.m., myself and three others seen an orange light, almost fiery and definitely foreign to anything that any of us had ever seen.

It moved across the sky, seemed almost elongated, like bumpy rectangular? It also seemed to be growing slightly larger. It's trajectory appeared to be heading north of where we were located in South Philadelphia.

I actually texted a few friends of mine who I thought would be on it's pathway, but sadly, none have reported back to me on having seen it. Is there anything else to know about this, are there specific sites I would do well to finding out more on this bizarre occurring.

4 Circular Shaped Lights Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Time: 12:01 to 12:45 a.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My fiancé was walking our dog and puppy and when he returned home he called me outside with urgency. I went out and looked up at what he was looking at, and I kind of freaked a little bit.

We saw four circular shaped lights all following the same circular patterns of their own and each intersecting at the same place at separate times. The best comparison I can think of is, imagine the cups and saucer rides only with a cup on each arm.

It lasted about 43 minutes and when it stopped, there were faint straight lines moving in a different pattern same part of the sky just in a different area.

4 Round Blue Lights Over Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Time: 8:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving to see a friend in Overbrook Park, Philadelphia, PA. As I turned off the main highway into the neighborhood, I saw lights fluttering above the houses in a distant. I thought maybe it was a helicopters search lights over the park.

As I drove closer to the park to my friends house, right above the row of houses near the park I pulled over to see where the lights were coming from. All I saw was 4 blue round light fluttering in a circular pattern above the clouds.

I could not see what the lights were from. They lasted about 15 minutes. They were going round and round pretty fast. When my friend walked up to my car, I asked if he had seen the lights over the park. He said he had seen them right before I arrived.

He did not know what they were and we both commented that they were strange and jokingly we made comments about maybe they were aliens.

Mile Wide UFO Seen Over New Jersey/Pennsylvania Border Near Philadelphia

Date: April 13, 2008

Time: 3:45 a.m.

Location of Sighting: New Jersey/Pennsylvania Border Near Philadelphia.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Huge craft with 4 bright beaming lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Late one night, I saw a craft with four bright beaming solid lights descend from a higher altitude and come to a stand still just this side of the Delaware River. It was all lit up with four lights running laterally across the center, there were two white and two orange lights.

It stayed motionless, the distance away at 1500 feet. It resembled the sketch of the Stephenville, Texas craft reported earlier that year. it also resembled, as seen from behind, the flashing red and green lights of the Stephenville videos, which I had seen on a quiet December 24, 2001 night very close to the spot of the present sighting.

It beamed down to the ground a brilliant white searchlight. There was no helicopter seen or heard at that one block distance. Eventually it shut off the light, and veered toward New Jersey flashing red and green lights, just like the ones seen in the Stephenville and Kokomo sighting videos. Identification? Flying saucer about 1 mile wide and 1/2 mile high seen by me at 1,500 feet hovering.
