Black Disk Shaped UFO Hovered In The Sky Over Kristiansand Norway (Graphic)

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files)

Hello, I searched the web after I had a sighting and I found your site and came to discover that you had just the same sighting as I just had in this speaking moment 3 hours ago here in Norway.

It was amazing, at first I just saw a huge bright light in the sky right above the tree-line, across my road over some other residential area. It was so huge I called for a friend of mine to come and look, and told him that is not a star, "look at all the other stars how small they are".

Image Below: Picture of the Kristiansand region.

I ran away and got my telescope, and when I looked up, I saw there was two white/bright lights fairly close to each other, but in the middle to my amazement, it had a red light beam going downwards in a pattern movement.

This was in between the two bright round lights at each side of the disk.

I had it in my sights for maybe 30 - 60 seconds and it started to move. It went first right and behind the tree-line or the top of a big tree so I could see it behind it.

It then continued passed the tree-line a while and then I could see that it kind of looked like. This was a black disk shaped object in the middle of those two bright lights on each side.

It was moving slow and then it turned again and started to go back the same way towards it's original position. It went passed that point and then towards me and my friend, and almost over us in the sky totally silent, no sound what so ever.

We both saw this object up and close in the scope for a fairly long time and also right overhead of us in the sky. It was a great sighting and I just wanted to mail you to see what you might think of it. Was it similar to your sighting or maybe you know of these kind of UFO crafts that I was able to see. (Who knows :)

I'm curious to hear what you think about this sighting, speak to you later, bye.

Additional Information:

Hello Brian, I made a BMP file (changed to a jpg) in MS paint for you, nothing fancy, but I think you will be able to understand how this object looked like. It's attached on the side of this e-mail.

As for the other questions you was wondering about. The sighting was in Kristiansand, Norway.

The time of the sighting was some place between 9:00 p.m. and midnight.

Weather conditions, it was dark and cold and a totally clear sky and you could see all the stars very easily.

When it comes to the size of the object its hard to say, all I can say is that when I used my telescope and zoomed in on it when it was standing still, the two white lights on each side was fairly small. Very similar looking to a star when you zoom in on it.

The red light in the middle was about the same size so if this object was that high in the air this means those lights and the object had to be seriously huge.

But on the other hand those white lights could have been very small as well, because when it went over me and was hovering over the tree-line that seemed extremely close again.

So that's all I can say, it was totally silent when it went over me but then the object had also become a little bigger I think.

At least I remember seeing those two white lights very clearly and apart from each other without the telescope. That's about the best I can explain it all.

My buddy don't have anything against sending you an email with a short explanation of his view of the observation and confirm my story and the he was witnessing the same I have explained to you if you need that.

P.S. - when does your radio show go and how can I listen to it ?

Thank you to the witness for the great report and excellent graphic.

If anyone has witnessed the UFO/Object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Orange Light Spotted Over Asker Gullhella Norway

Date:  Early morning in the a.m.
Time:  N/A

I've just seen an object in the sky in Asker close to Gullhella here in Norway and my parents also have seen a weird flying object near Liertoppen in Asker. The object I saw had orange light. First I thought it was an airplane, but it was moving to slow and the light was too big for it to belong to an airplane and it was also not blinking.

The object was moving pretty slow towards us without making any sound. After some seconds it seemed like it went behind a cloud. It left me wondering what it could have been? Though I don’t know how a helicopter looks like in the dark?

Nice to know and if anyone had some more ideas of what it can possible be. Whatever my parents saw was during the day and I was not present to see what it looked like. Also don't have any pictures or video from it.

Black Disk Shaped UFO And Red Beams Of Light Over Kristiansand, Norway (Graphic)

Two Orange Lights Observed Over Akershus Norway

Date: November 5, 2010
Time: 8:05 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. GMT+1

Hello Brian, my girlfriend and I just saw two orange lights flying in perfect unison over Akershus county in Norway. We did a search on Google, and found your website where there were several sightings similar to what we just saw.

At first we figured maybe they were planes heading to Gardermoen Airport, Norway. But they were fairly bright orange, flying close to each other. They were positioned vertically and held the distance between them constant. They were moving from below the big dipper and up.

After observing them for a few seconds on my own, I called my girlfriend up so she could have a look and confirm that what I was looking at weren't planes. We can see regular air traffic to and from Gardermoen Airport from where we live, and there were three or four flights during the sighting and we compared the lights. The planes had the normal white and red alternating light pattern, and the objects were sort of an irregular orange glow. Not alternating, i.e. an on/off pattern.

The sighting took place at approximately 8:05pm to 8:15pm GMT+1

At the end of what we saw, the lights, still holding a perfect distance between them, faded. First the lower of the two lights, and then the second maybe a minute later.

We didn't have a camera to record the event.

We know your website is primarily for American sightings, but what we saw was eerily similar to several of the descriptions on your site, so we wanted to give you a heads up!

Take care, and best of luck in your endeavors!

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Star-Like Object Erupts Over Bergen Norway

Date: February 28, 2010
Time: Approx: 7:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Bergen, Norway.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Like a star.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend and I were looking at some crows acting strange above Bergen city center. Than suddenly a bright light erupted on the night sky and disappeared in less than a second. It looked like a star appearing, but then grew stronger in it's magnitude, then fading and totally disappeared. At this time we couldn't really see any stars in the sky, so we are pretty bewildered about the experience.

Strange Light Show Over Norway (Possible Malfunctioning Rocket - CONFIRMED)

Spaceweather.com carried the story of the strange light show over Norway. Mind you it is all over the internet, video footage and photos. Spaceweather.com which is a trusted source for information has posted the story with an update. The update is really interesting.

UPDATE: Circumstantial evidence is mounting that the phenomenon was caused by a malfunctioning rocket, possibly an ICBM launched from a Russian submarine. A Navtex no-fly alert was issued for the White Sea on Dec. 9th, and photographers appear to have recorded the initial boost phase of a launch below the spiral (see inset). A rocket motor spinning out of control could indeed explain the spiral pattern, so this explanation seems plausible, although it has not yet been confirmed.

CONFIRMED: The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed the launch and subsequent failure of a submarine-based missile: BBC Report.

Personally speaking for myself (Brian Vike), I certainly don't think the Norway light show has anything to do with UFOs as many have suggested it to be.
