5 To 6 Bright Objects Observed In The Sky Over Edgewater British Columbia ( Fireball/Meteor Diagram)

Hi, my name is (name removed) On the night of February 23, 2015, I was going to bed at approximately 11:00 p.m.

As I open my bedroom windows every night, I was doing my usual nightly routine. I opened my bedroom window, and looked up into the sky and seen approximately 5-6 bright objects flying in the sky.

They were all in a tight formation, coming from the south heading north. There was no sound at all. The appearance of the objects were large and bright, but definitely single objects.

The height of them was approximately mountain top height. I started screaming for my husband, because I was so stunned at what I was seeing.

As they passed over I ran over to my north window, and saw them as they were still on the same course, heading north.

I drew this picture to show you what I saw. My husband who was downstairs at the time never got to see anything.

It happened very quickly. Also the other thing you noticed was a bright yellow aura all around them.

UFO Sightings Over Windermere/Edgewater/Invermere British Columbia (Letter)

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: The 3 page letter covers a number of UFO sightings from the Edgewater, Windermere and Invermere, British Columbia areas.

The letter is very interesting to read.

One in particular is fascinating as a UFO with lights running around it sat stationary over top of some young girls who were in a field.

UFOs And Missing Time In Wilmer And Edgewater British Columbia

Time: Close to dusk.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I was told of three sightings that took place around the Wilmer and Edgewater, British Columbia. I know the people who related the stories and believe they are creditable. I have these three reports below.

One afternoon three girls were in a farmers field on their way to the hayshed to enjoy a cigarette, unbeknownst to their parents. After their sojourn to the shed they thought it was time to go home again and walked back down the field where there was a hole in the fence close to Sandy Bend Road.

Before they got to the fence, they heard a sound like a vehicle trying to start, similar to the engine turning over and over. They looked in all directions, but there was nothing to be seen.

The same noise happened again, but they could see no vehicle anywhere. Suddenly they realized that the sound was coming from above their heads.   Looking skywards they saw a circular shaped craft with different coloured lights around the circumference, and the object was silver/metallic in the center.

All three girls were stunned, scared and spooked and ran as fast as they could towards their homes. One of them doesn't remember exactly how she got back to her parents, she had no real recollection of the path she took, but when she arrived she told her mother about her experience.  

The other two girls were so scared they got the first girls dad to take them home. None of them seemed to realize how long the occurrence was, but realized it was way longer than they planned to be away from home, in fact it had become quite dark.

The whole episode was never talked about again and the mother didn't want to discuss it.

This story was recalled to me by the first girls' sister (and I also took a telephone interview with this witness).

Bright Light And  Missing Time At Edgewater, British Columbia

Date:  1970's
Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Another sighting reported came in from a lady who’s husband was on his way to work. It was the graveyard shift and he was driving along the highway to his place of employment, which was some 10 - 15 minutes away from his home.    

As he travelled towards his destination, he became aware of a bright light which seemed to be getting larger and larger and following him alongside the highway.

He was curious as to what this was and stopped his vehicle and he watched the object for several minutes. Strangely enough when he finally got to work he discovered that he was over 2 hours late.

Investigators Note:  I would have liked to have contacted this fellow, but he has since passed away. I was indeed grateful that his experience had been passed on to me for inclusion in my files.

Three Egg Shaped Metallic UFOs Spotted From Witnesses Home In Wilmer, British Columbia

Date: 1980's
Time:  noon

A lady went out onto the balcony of her home looking east towards the Rocky Mountains one nice sunny day. She saw three egg shaped metallic objects in the sky above the mountain line. All were identical in size and shape.

She ran inside to get her mother to have her come look as well, but when her mother saw the objects, she said, "Oh my God" and ran back indoors to get dad. When dad arrived on the scene, all three objects had disappeared.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: It was noted at the time that many other witnesses in the Wilmer/Windermere area saw similar sightings, but on different days. From what I understand it was quite the talk of the town for some time afterwards and I'd like to perhaps take a trip down that way sometime in the hopes I can dig up some more information about these and other sightings.

UFO Follows Witness And Missing Time At Edgewater, British Columbia

A friend reported to me that she knew of a girlfriend's husband who was on his way to work. It was the graveyard shift and he was heading off along the highway to his place of employment, some 10 -15 minutes away from his home. As he travelled towards his destination, he became aware of a bright light which seemed to be getting bigger and bigger and following him alongside the highway. He was too curious to keep on driving until he'd had a better look at what was going on. Stopping the vehicle he watched for several minutes. But strangely enough, when he finally got to work he discovered that he was over 2 hours late.
