Fast Moving Bright White Light Flew Over Airdrie Alberta

Date: August 10, 2014
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
I seen a bright white light moving from west to east at approximately 10:00 p.m. last night. Not an airplane (too high), not a satellite, too fast.
This object seemed very high and was moving across the sky at a very fast pace.
Additional Information:
Airdrie, Alberta Canada. I am an avid watcher of the sky by nature. In this event, I was outside of a pub having a smoke and even dragged 2 people over (whom were also having a smoke) to see what I was looking at.
Both were quite bewildered like myself. I know the difference between a shooting star, a plane, and this was way too fast to be a satellite. I think I saw a UFO.
It looked like a star off in the distance initially, but as I watched it, it moved at a decent pace. It was much faster than a plane could and a plane doesn't fly that high.
This thing zipped across the sky (open sky) in a matter of a minute or so. I have 2 people who saw it with me.

Bright Orange Ball Spotted Descending To The Ground At Airdrie Alberta

Date: July 12, 2014
Time: Approx: 1/2 hour before sunset.
Hello, last night, my wife and I saw a bright orange ball of light pass over Airdrie, Alberta from the east. It passed over us and the city and then turned black and descended to the ground west of Airdrie.
I estimate it was travelling about 500 mph. There was no sound associated with this event. Happened about 1/2 hour before sunset.
I am an avionics technician and I am very aware of all civilian and military craft. I have no clue what this object may have been!

Group Of 3 Reddish Orange Lights Over Airdrie Alberta
Date: October 31, 2011
Time: 11:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 3
Shape of Objects: Triangular.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was out in the backyard having a smoke and admiring the night sky as usual. I saw a group of 3 reddish-orange lights in a triangular formation cross the sky overhead of me from north to south (heading over Calgary).
The height of the object was between 1,500 and 2,000 feet. It moved incredibly fast and made no noise whatsoever. The formation of the lights remained intact -- that is, they did not move out of place.
One thing that I found especially peculiar is that the lights appeared almost semi-transparent and I could not detect an outline of a craft, only the formation of the three lights.
The length of the sighting was at least 10-15 seconds long. I saw a similar object jet across the sky in August of 2011. If anyone has seen anything remotely similar I would love to hear about it.

Bright White Light Over Airdrie Alberta Canada
Date: August 12 and 14th, 2011
Time: 10:30 p.m.Hi, on August 12 and 14, 2011 at about 10:30pm, I saw a bright white light slowly moving (on the 12th it was moving west to east, on the 14th it was moving south to north), I was in Airdrie SE when that happened. It was nothing I have ever seen before! Not a plane. (please I heard that so many time, it was not a plane)
It was not a shooting star (even if it’s the Perseide time of the year) and it wasn’t a satellite either. I am still trying to process what I saw, and reading the other experience people had. It seems like what I saw is regularly seen by others too. What is that?
Please note that I am from Quebec and moved here a couple of years ago, so my English might be a little hard to understand, but hopefully it’s clear enough for you to understand.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Blue UFO Hovers Then Shoots Off Over Airdrie Alberta
Date: 2002 ?
Time: Evening.I've seen the same thing. It was probably about two years ago now. I was driving back from work which at the time was in Airdrie, AB. I was taking the back roads. It was dark at the time. As I was heading south on the road that connects with the north end of Beddington Trail, I spotted a bright blue light in the distance.
At first I thought that it was perhaps an airplane, but as it got closer I realized it wasn't. It was about fifty yards sort of to the left of me, hovered for a few seconds and took off behind me in the distance, far too fast to be anything manmade. To this day, I still have no explanation of what I saw. Pretty strange.

Bright Multi Colored Light Streaked Across The Sky Over Airdrie Alberta
Date: February 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.Hello, At around 8:00pm this evening my son, my two dogs and I decided to go for a walk as we usually do. We walked through an area in Airdrie Coopers Crossing to an area under development, a great place at night for off leash. While in the south end of this development walking, a very bright multi colored light streaked across the sky above us lighting up the area just underneath of it. Where we were walking as if it were late daylight. Both my dogs stood completely still as did my son and I.
It lasted only seconds and then a slightly dimmer one once again. We walked back to our home without experiencing another. The sky at the time was dark with hazy fog so we did not see if the light had been emitted from any object, but the light itself was very apparent. I have never witnessed this before, but the last couple of days walking my dogs out here they have acted very skitterish. I searched the internet to see if anyone else had noticed and published anything in blogs etc, but didn't find anything, but your website. Did anyone else notice this light? Thanks.

7 Or 8 Orange Balls Of Light Over Airdrie Scotland UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 12:30 a.m.Location of Sighting: Airdrie Scotland.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 7 or 8
Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Standing outside our front door letting the dog out before going to bed after the bells. My husband and son were there and saw the same thing. The orange ball shapes moved across the sky making no sound at all. We watched them for a few minutes then decided to film them as it was so strange. We thought at first it was fireworks, then realized it couldn't be as they lasted too long and were moving in a row and made no sound. The film is shaky and shows only one very briefly before it disappeared but there were definitely 7 maybe 8.
