On our way out to Burns Lake the other day my wife and I stopped at the Rose Lake camping site which is on the shore of Rose Lake and  along Highway 16. 

The people in the community of Rose Lake have come together providing a nice camp site. There are grassy spots to erect a tent on, there are pit toilets, picnic tables and a great covered area should the weather turn bad.

Bright Flash Of Light And Object/UFO Appears In The Sky Over Rose City Michigan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My nephews, myself and my husband were just hanging around the fire pit in the backyard.

We often sky watch, and this time we saw something that none of the three of us that witnessed the event could explain.

In the northwestern sky we saw a bright light appear as if someone was using a flash on a camera and the object appeared from nowhere.

It traveled across the sky for about a minute, minute and a half and then the same flash and it was gone.

My husband did not witness it, as he was looking in the southern sky.

While it was happening, we were all three watching and describing as it happened and still have no explanation for what we saw.

Two Bright Old Rose Orbs/Objects Seen In The Sky Over Rio Grande Valley South Texas

Date:  Mid February 2003
Time:  1:00 a.m.

In 2003, mid February, a girlfriend of mine and I saw two bright old rose orbs due north of San Benito, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley.

The event occurred at 1:00 a.m. as we drove from Brownsville to Harlingen, Texas on Hi Way 83. I had the car on cruise at 65 miles per hour. The night was cool and crisp without a cloud in the sky.

There was a full moon to my left at about 45 degrees above the horizon. We were enjoying the gorgeous evening.

As we reached the overpass over the Main Street, Sam Houston, the entire town of San Benito was bathed by a beautiful old rose glow which emanated from two bright old rose orbs that appeared suddenly and without any sound to my right just above the down town area at about 15 degrees above the horizon and slowly drifted west for about 3 degrees.

The entire down town area glowed in the beautiful old rose sheen. The orbs were each about a third of the full moon's diameter, but were much much brighter.  

They were in a horizontal alignment and were separated by a distance equal to their respected diameters.

I was able to calculate the next day by retracing the same route that the orbs were seen for exactly one minute. Although our first thought was that they were flares, the light they produced was much brighter than the full moon and they produced no smoke trails.

The local newspaper two days later reported that bright lights had been seen the night of the event.

There is an international airport in the adjoining town of Harlingen, but these were definitely not landing lights.

They were not in the area of the airport and they were so close to the ground that we should have both seen and heard the plane!

As suddenly as they appeared above the horizon they disappeared without a trace!

Two Orange/Rose Colored Round Objects Spotted Over Huntington New York

 

Date:  April 7, 2012

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, I recently came across your website when I did a Google search on UFO sightings over Huntington NY. I am not one that researches stuff like this nor did I ever experience a sighting, that is until last night (4/7/12). At around 8:45 pm.

 

I was leaving my parents home with my fiancé, as I was walking out the door I observed two orange/rose color round objects which at first glance I thought were shooting stars, but then I realized shooting stars move very rapid and you only see them a few seconds, plus these objects were too large to be a shooting star.

 

They appeared to be hovering and moving slowly. I told my fiancé to get my parents quickly, but the objects although at first didn't seem to be moving fast, but they must have been because with 15 seconds or so they were far in the distance moving n a horizontal manor.

 

The objects made no noise whatsoever, nor did they have any flashing lights like a plane, they appeared to be a solid glowing color, almost like a ball of fire. My regrets are that I only had an iPhone to video it, ironically I am in video production and usually have some form of video camera with me, but last night I did not have one.

 

I wanted to notify someone about this, but really thought it was useless, because I didn't know who to call. I know the police can do nothing and probably would have thought I was crazy so I started to research and came across you posting.

Large Disc UFO Rose Up From The Ground At Wilson And Trabue Road Columbus Ohio

 

Date:  April 1954

Time:  Afternoon.

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Disc.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I will be 72 in March. I have not forgotten the incident. At the time I was attending Hilliard Middle School, Hilliard, OH.

The house where I lived was located on 40 acres of land on Trabue Road. I decided to go horse back riding and saddled up my horse. We rode south from the barn and out onto the riding track.

About 15 minutes passed and my horse began to shake and came to an abrupt stop. I looked around me and to the east a large disc shaped object arose from the ground and with no lights or sound streaked towards the southwest.

Wright Patterson Air force base was located at Dayton, Ohio in the direction which the saucer flew. My parents thought I made it all up. However, two of my class mates who were working on their parents farm saw the disc.

I had further sightings in 1973 while living in New Bremen, OH.

Strange Orange Ball Of Light Rose Up Into The Sky Over Northern California

 

Date:  Around 1988

Time:  Evening.

 

My twin brother and I both saw a similar orange ball of light beyond our back yard fence in Northern California. Must have been around 1988. Couldn't tell if it was small and just beyond our fence, or huge and miles away. At any rate it looked like a spherical, sharply demarcated ball of fire.

 

It rose slowly into the air and vanished. It did not appear to fly away. My brother and I could not believe what we saw and strangely did not speak much of it at the time. However in the years gone by we have discussed it and both remember it like it was yesterday.

Light Pink/Rose Colored Oval Shaped UFOs Seen From McHenry County Illinois

 

Date:  August 8, 1988

Time:  Approx: 9:40 p.m.

 

On Sunday, August 8, 1988 at approximately 9:40 p.m. I was sitting outside near the north side of our house having a cigarette. I was facing toward the east at the time and happened to look toward the northeast for some reason.

 

I saw five objects coming from the north and heading toward the highway about four blocks to the north of us. The objects were heading toward the south at a high rate of speed and were flying in a V formation.

 

They came across the highway and headed toward the creek that flows nearby. From my position, they were about a half mile to the east and appeared to be about a thousand feet or so up in the air.

 

The objects were oval in shape and a light pink/rose color. They seemed to look almost transparent. They made no noise that I could hear. They flew over the creek and the nearby woods and continued south.

 

I watched them until they disappeared from sight.

Orange Objects Rose Quickly From The Ground Over Cleveland Ohio

 

Date:  October 22, 2011

Time:  Evening.

 

I just saw the same exact thing happen twice within five minutes while sitting in my backyard.

 

We were near Cleveland, OH. A large, dark orange plume rose quickly from the ground about fifteen to twenty miles away, by my estimation. The outer layer of the object seemed to dissipate, while its core hovered from left to right in the sky for minutes.

 

Then, the remaining object shot quickly into the sky and soon disappeared into the night sky. First instinct, of course, was to blame fireworks. But the length of time it hovered, coupled with the heights it achieved upon "taking off" made it very strange.

 

By the way, this event occurred twice the same evening, both within the same hour to hour and a half. Apologies for the delayed response. I rarely check this account. I will do so more often, as I'm interested in similar occurrences.

Orange Coloured Light Rose Up Out From The Gorge At Niagara Falls Ontario Canada

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were sitting in our 22nd floor suite at the Marriot Hotel in a room with a complete wall of windows facing the Horseshoe Falls. It was a perfect panoramic view giving us a vantage point that went all the way past the Rainbow Bridge.

We were approximately a couple hundred yards from the brink of the Falls. My partner noticed an oval shaped object emitting a constant orange coloured light rising straight up out of the gorge in front of the Canadian falls. At first she thought it was a reflection in the window of the candle burning on our coffee table (or some sort of Niagara light show), but she realized that the glowing light continued to move upwards.

We moved over to the window and watched closely as the glowing object rose out of the mist slowly and deliberately. As the object kept rising we knew this was not a light show or an aircraft of any kind.

We then watched the object change directions and move upwards on a 45 degree angle. Our eyes were following the object as it rose. We noticed it was moving toward another identical object hovering in the sky above.

As the object approached the one in the sky, the second one moved out of our line of vision and the original object continued on its course upwards.

Luminous UFO Rose Upward At Topley Landing, British Columbia

Date: Early Spring of 1972
Time: Evening (dusk)

The second sighting I was alone. I am a heavy duty mechanic and was working for the Houston, B.C. branch of Finning Tractor at the time on a temporary transfer. During one of my field outings in early spring (not sure of the date) I had just completed repairs on a piece of logging machinery on a landing of a logging operation near Topley Landing on Babine Lake. Dusk was setting in as I travelled the logging road back to the highway and the trip back to Houston. As I began across another landing on the logging road I was startled to see what appeared to be a bright luminous sphere across the landing to my left. Venturing a guess I would say that the sphere may have been between 10 and 20 feet in diameter. The sphere rose upward off the landing and almost immediately began to accelerate upward at an incredible rate until it was out of sight. The time from first sighting on the ground until it was out of sight could not have been more than 5 seconds. Events like this make one entertain the thought that perhaps I was hallucinating as this does not fit in with my normal worldview.
