Round Bright Orange UFO Shot Straight Upward And Gone Over La Grande Oregon

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside in front of house BBQ some burgers.

My wife happened to be outside talking to me when we looked into the southwestern sky from our home and noticed a strange orange round object kind of seemed as though it was either lightly moving toward us or parallel to us in the sky.

It seemed to most likely to be somewhere around 5,000 feet up, or maybe a little higher in the sky.

We thought it maybe a life flight coming toward the hospital, or maybe a plane, but no other lights and not really moving in any real direction.

My wife went into the house to get plate and when she returned I was looking up at the object. As I heard her return, the object shot straight up and out of sight in not more then a second.

At one moment it was right there in full view and very bright and clear and then gone, straight up out of sight.

I noticed the light went from full size, to a pin hole size to gone in no time. I asked my wife if she had just seen what happened, and she was not looking at it at that moment.

It was a totally clear night with a partial moon and a few stars in the sky.

We were amazed that it was just gone out of sight so fast. Not sure what we saw, but whatever it was, left faster then anything known to man kind.

Circular Object Shoots Upward Faster Than A Jet Fighter Over Ontario Oregon

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My wife and I were smoking a cigarette and I was talking to her. She said "What is that?" I turned around to see what looked like a shooting star.

 

However it was quite many times larger than a shooting star (the size difference between a dime and a Kennedy half-dollar) and it was "shooting" upwards instead of across the sky or downward as most shooting stars do.

 

Another observance I made was that this "shooting star" had no tail. There was just a ball of light shooting upwards many times faster than any fighter jet flies.

 

After about 10 seconds of the ball shooting upwards, it gave off what seemed like a bit of light dust for 2 seconds and then was completely gone. Just disappeared.

 

It didn't fade away it just was gone. If you have any information on this sighting or any information that comes your way, please contact me as I am very curious and am a frequent sky observer.

Bright Round Orange Light Moves Upward Then Vanishes Over Coed Eva Cwmbran UK

Hi i live in Coed Eva in Cwmbran this evening June 22, 2009, myself and a friend and her 2 daughters saw a bright orange light travelling across the sky high up, but clear as a street light.

 

There was no sound it was about 11:40 p.m. It was round and travelled in a straight line from Pontypool direction across the sky quite steadily not at speed then upwards and vanished very strange!

Fireball Type Object Shoots Back Upward Over New Mexico

Date: 2010 and September 17, 2011
Time: Evening.

Hi, I was writing to see if there is any explanation to this? The posting on your website " Bright Light Shoots Off Over Carvel Alberta Canada" 2006. My friend and I had witnessed the same exact thing, exactly, except we live in New Mexico and it happened in 2010.

Again September 17, 2011 the same friend and his girlfriend and her son witnessed the exact same sighting. I know this sounds cheesy, but the fireball was the size of my pinky nail held out at arm length, "a very hot and angry looking fireball" like off the movie Men in Black.

It seemed to be coming right at me and at a extremely high velocity and shot up leaving a short trail behind and out of our orbit, extremely fast speeds. This seems to be a reoccurring thing, have you found or heard what this is?

UFO Moved In An Upward Movement And Disappears Over London Ontario Canada

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mother was on the balcony and called for me. My grandmother and I both went to the balcony to see what she called for. We then saw the same thing we saw just a few nights ago, some sort of round light sitting still in the sky with no sound at all. It was definitely not a star, planet or any other form of celestial body.

We all thought, "how could a plane or helicopter be so close and not make any sound and how is it not moving?" I stayed and watched for a couple of minutes until it started moving in an upward motion. I went to go look from my window, but within the 10 seconds it takes me to go from the balcony to the window, it was gone.

Object Shot Upward In The Night Sky North Of Wellington New Zealand

Time: Evening.

I haven’t told many people about this event that happened when I was staying at my Nana’s house on a farm in the school holidays about hour north of Wellington on the west coast side.

One night Nana went outside for a walk and asked if I would like a walk too, yes. The night was clear and no wind, we walked around for little while, then Nana stopped not far from the gate and was looking towards the east.

She pointed towards to the east, and said look over there, I replied, look where Nan. Above the hills where the stars are, see that star, the star that is moving. I had a problem trying to see the star move. Then suddenly I saw it.

The star was the same as the other stars seen in the sky, same size, same colour and the difference was the other stars were still. This star was moving around slightly. I only got to watch the light for about a minute in this position, when all of sudden it shot to my right horizontally about 300mm head turn.

It was so quick then it stopped, so quick and stayed in this position for a couple of seconds then the light shot upwards at a slight angle and it was gone. It was amazing to watch. This event happened few years ago.

Huge Bright Object Shoots Upward And Disappears Over Grand Forks British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: This evening my boyfriend stepped out for a smoke. He called me outside quickly and in the north sky about 200 feet from the top of Observation Mountain (about 2,000 feet above ground and very close to a radio tower) was a huge very bright ball of light, hovering above the mountain.

A few seconds later we saw what looked like aircraft/jet/plane flying from behind it heading west. About 30 seconds later, the hovering bright light dimmed a bit and shot up straight into the air and the aircraft/flashing lights disappeared.

Orange UFO Shoots Upward Over Tilbury Area Of Essex UK

Time: 10:10 p.m.

Hi, my name is (name removed) and I live in the Tilbury area of Essex. Last night (08/07/10) I spotted an Orange round object in the sky at 10:10pm. It was moving with speed and was not flashing like a plane and didn't seem to be making a noise in my opinion and it was not a plane. The object then slowed down almost stopping, before shooting upwards at speed and disappearing out of sight.

I sat and watched, but I did not see anything else. I have never seen anything like this before and would be grateful for any feed back as I am interested in finding out what the object was. Thank you.

Amber Colored Light Steaks Upward At Vernon, British Columbia

Brian Vike, Director of The Vike Factor's Note: The witness who provided the interesting report below has sent in eight other UFO sighting reports for 2007. I will be posting each of the witnesses sighting reports separately as the objects were witnessed on different days over 2007.

I have seen one unexplained flying object before this year, (meaning 2007) when I was 18 years old in 1992. I witnessed a blond/amber colored light coming down the Indian Arm of Okanagan Lake from the north to the south. The object was moving along the far SE shoreline approximately 5km from the cabin. My sister and I both watched the object through the window of the cabin streak straight up into the air and disappear. We both felt confused after seeing it, and have only discussed it once or twice since it happened.

For the past year I have had an outdoor night shift job doing security at a hotel in Vernon, BC. The Okanagan is renowned for its clear skies and I have the opportunity to sky gaze for extended periods. On eight separate occasions this year I have seen unexplained flying objects in the skies around Vernon.

Luminous UFO Rose Upward At Topley Landing, British Columbia

Date: Early Spring of 1972
Time: Evening (dusk)

The second sighting I was alone. I am a heavy duty mechanic and was working for the Houston, B.C. branch of Finning Tractor at the time on a temporary transfer. During one of my field outings in early spring (not sure of the date) I had just completed repairs on a piece of logging machinery on a landing of a logging operation near Topley Landing on Babine Lake. Dusk was setting in as I travelled the logging road back to the highway and the trip back to Houston. As I began across another landing on the logging road I was startled to see what appeared to be a bright luminous sphere across the landing to my left. Venturing a guess I would say that the sphere may have been between 10 and 20 feet in diameter. The sphere rose upward off the landing and almost immediately began to accelerate upward at an incredible rate until it was out of sight. The time from first sighting on the ground until it was out of sight could not have been more than 5 seconds. Events like this make one entertain the thought that perhaps I was hallucinating as this does not fit in with my normal worldview.
