Silver Disc Shaped UFO At Vanderhoof And Multiple UFOs Over Victoria British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was putting an attachment on the back of the tractor and while doing so, a beaver float plane came flying over.

I stopped to look at the plane because I not use to seeing float planes in this area, and being quite low. Just as it got across from me, a round disc appeared just above the plane.

The plane kept flying, the round disc just sat there in the sky, not moving, and there was no sound of any kind. The beaver air craft had left the area, and I stood there for several minutes staring at it.

I figured it to be about 1,000 feet in altitude, no more. I decided I would slowly walk back to the house and get the camera, as I was sure it was watching me. I would have been about 150 meters from the house, I kept looking back up to see if it was still there, and it was.

Finally I got to my home, I went in and got the camera out, and went back out and the dam thing was gone. I looked everywhere around, and nothing.

Another time I had just gotten out of the Navy, and I had my girl friend with me and we were at the Tilicome Drive in Theater watching an outdoor movie at around 11:00 p.m., this was in the summer of 1961 or maybe 1962.

While we were watching the show, two objects were just to the top left of the outdoor screen. These two orange glowing objects looked to be in the outer atmosphere, and were side by side as we watched the show.

I could see the two objects getting bigger, and brighter as they seemed to be coming down over the city of Victoria, British Columbia.

This took probably 30 to 40 minutes and these two objects got much bigger, where we could no longer see the picture on the screen.

All we had was the sound coming inside. I remember seeing the street lights around town going out because of the brightness which seemed like all of Victoria was lit up.

By this time I and many, many others that were at the outdoor theater were out of there cars watching the two objects. Soon the bright objects started very slowly raising back up, and as they rose, it got darker.

After approximately 20 to 30 minutes, the street lights came back on and I could see the show again. I kept watching with the other people that were out of their cars, as the objects went back up to the same place, where they first appeared.

They sat there again for maybe another ten minutes, when one of the objects left the others, going across the in a zig zag movement, or back and forth motion. There were no clouds of any kind that night.

I remember watching it go behind us, all which took at least 5 full minutes. I remember my girl friend at the time, wouldn't even get out of the vehicle.

I got back in to watch the show again, and I still could see the remaining object still quite bright (bit smaller than the moon, but brighter) watching the show and this thing at same time maybe within ten full minutes the remaining objects left in a straight line in the opposite direction, as the first I remember it leaving in a blink of an eye.

All you could see was a small streak in the direction it went and I'm sure there had to be 50 to 60 people that were out of their vehicles at that time, because there was no show to watch, but that one.

Funny thing to, I watched the newspapers and listened to the radio for many days and nothing was ever said about that incident, that I could ever find.

I have had other sightings, but nothing like the two sightings that were that close and for that length of time.

Close Encounter With Disc Shaped Craft/UFO Over Dayton Ohio (Telephone Interview/Graphic/Maps)

Full Description of event/sighting: To whom it may concern, I have had three UFO sightings in my life, all of them being daylight sightings. One when I was around eight years old, another when I was around 35 years old, but the one that I will describe is by far the very best. At the age of 26, I am now 50 years old.

It's been a long time since I made this sighting, but have visited the site approximately every other year to keep it fresh in my memory. The sighting occurred in the summer (July?) of 1982, in Dayton, Ohio within an approximate radius of four miles from Wright Patterson AFB.

I had just pulled up to a local watering hole after work (Filthy McNasty's was the name of the establishment, believe it or not) with my best friend who I worked/carpooled with. I am a tool design engineer and he is a tool and die maker. From our work experience, we both are very well trained in regards to knowing the size of things big and small.

Filthy’s is located approximately 300 yards from the great Miami River and about 100 yards from Rip Rap Road which parallels the river and lies between itself and the river. It basically sits in the middle of an abandoned field, surrounded by flat farm fields and woods.

The time was approximately 6:00 p.m., the weather was good, with a clear blue sky, with little or no wind. A typical, hot, humid, stagnant, miserable summer day in Ohio. (Can you tell how much I like the weather in Ohio)?

As I was saying, we had just pulled up in the parking lot with the car facing west. We got out and started walking north for about 100 feet to the entrance, when something (a movement/reflection?) to our left (south) caught both of out eyes at the same time.

At a distance of 100 yards (I have measured this) and at approximate height of 200 feet (we had trees in the foreground very close to the road that I have measured the height of, by comparing the objects height to the height of the trees which I feel confident of the height estimate) was a dull gray metallic round object. It almost looked like something out of a 1950's bad Sci-Fi movie.

Two pie pans stacked facing each other with a streamlined "dome" on the top side only. The object was directly over the road and following it's course north at a speed of approximately 35 miles an hour. I have also measured this with myself standing in the exact spot and my friend driving the car on the road (and vice versa) at various speeds. We both picked the speed of 35 MPH.

The object was approximately 35 to 40 feet in diameter, I was a draftsman at the time, and had several size/angles of ellipse templates at work. So the following morning we stood at a distance of three feet from a wall which I had taped all of these templates to.

With the object of this being to pick out what we thought the object looked like. Not only the size, but the projected angle (share/profile). We both did this by ourselves, without knowing what size or shape the other had picked.

To my surprise we both picked the same shape, and more to my surprise, we were within approximately 10% of picking the same size. By using a little trigonometry and knowing a few measurements I calculated the size. So unless I am fundamentally wrong with how I did my calculations, I am very confident of the size that I estimate.

We also parked a Ford F-100 pickup out on the road and both of us stood in the "spot" and compared the size of the truck on the ground with the size of the object in the air. We both agreed that the object looked between two and three times the length of the truck, and so knowing the length of the truck, it fit really well with my calculations.

After we first spotted the object, it continued going north, at the same speed, following the path of the road. There were no erratic moments, no change in altitude, or any increase/decrease in speed. We both watched it for approximately 3 to 4 minutes until it was lost to sight in the haze a little above the horizon. After the object was lost to sight we went inside and discussed what we saw over a few cold beers.

What strikes me as odd, is that we didn't talk that much about it that night or after that. Maybe we were/are still dumbfounded by what we saw. This is not an exaggeration, if I saw a pickup truck at that height and distance, I wouldn't be able to tell you it's license plate number, but I damn sure could tell you what color, make and model it was.

There is one other thing that we both thought was very strange. There is a beach volleyball court in front of Filthy's and know more than 75 yards from the road. I would guess that there were between 15 and 20 people playing at the time. The net runs north and south, so half the people were facing east and the other half were facing west, and would have had an even closer view of the object than we did. I can see the half facing east missing it all together, but Ill be damned if I can figure out why no one player facing west spotted it.

We were both watching them for some reaction but there was not so much as a word said. We both were so dumbstruck that we just stood there with our jaws hanging on the ground and didn't raise the alarm to anyone. In fact we didn't say anything at all to each other the whole time except at the very beginning when I said, "What the hell is that !

To the best of my knowledge, all info contained in this statement is accurate and true. I know a fair amount about UFOs and the quality of the sighting/people.

So I have to tell you, this was a sweet one. No mysterious lights at night, and some moron wearing an Indian headdress claiming that he was whisked away to Venus (Maybe you've seen the film clips of this guy).

You have a multiple witness sighting, well trained, credible professionals.

You have a distance of no more than 125 yards away, with perfect viewing conditions.

I wouldn't have even reported this, except for the fact that it's been nagging at me for almost 25 years now. Maybe it will help me get rid of some of the nag. Plus, I like reading about sightings, so maybe someone will find this interesting and enjoyable. Thanks for listening.

Two Disc Shaped UFOs Caught On Film Over Downtown Ely Nevada (Pictures)

Full Description of event/sighting: I did not see anything unusual when I was walking around Ely filming old buildings. I began to download from my camcorder last week.

While I was looking for pictures to save, I thought that I saw something over the house, so I saved a still photo and wrote "look for UFO" as the title.

A few days later, I got the tape back out and captured still photos from it. There are 6 in sequence and then the camera malfunctions and filming abruptly begins again at a different location.

 I kind of think the frequency from my camera was intercepted and jammed. I normally get a photo shot that I like before moving on, but the house is crooked and there is junk off to the right that I wouldn't have wanted. I would like to save as a short, very short video (all 6 photos are from the same second in time) but I haven't learned how to do that yet.

I saved them to "pictures" and then watch as a slide show. Then, they move in very slow motion from left to right, but in real time on the camcorder, they whiz by almost too fast to even see.

A few years ago, while my husband and I were trying to search out an elusive whirring noise, one just like these stopped above us. I could see the small trees around us reflected in it. When it was gone, my husband said (like a zombie) "it was just an airplane".

Didn't look at all like an airplane. It was very shiny like stainless steel, and from approximately 30 feet directly under it, perfectly round.

It looked small. It reminded me of large convex mirrors about 3 feet across that they use at the end of "Hidden Drives" in New England.

A couple of weeks later, two Asian tourist men were being looked for in the same place. Their rental car was left with their wallets in it.

I don't know what ever happened with that story. We traveled around quite a bit with my husband's job (exploratory drilling for gold) and I think that we left there soon after.

That was Hawthorne, Nevada. Our Dog used to go hide every time we pointed to the sky. Well, anyway that's all for now. Sincerely.

Large Grey Disc/UFO Hovering In The Sky Between Tomball and Houston Texas (Diagram)

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, (Name removed) here again. I hope you had a nice trip.

I was driving south on State Highway 249 from Tomball toward Houston, Texas. I was watching a developing storm to the south in the direction I was headed. I saw a large grey disc hovering just above a large stand of Pine Trees in the distance to the east side of S.H. 249 about a mile or so south of me.

At first I thought it might be a promotional balloon at one of the car dealerships along the highway, but it was too far east and well off the highway. It was also too large. Then I thought maybe it was a small lenticular cloud formation, but it was way too low.

The more I watched it, the more of a defined shape I could see. It was very symmetrical, sort of a bi-level disc. I will e-mail a drawing to you. I watched it for only 10-15 seconds, then had to look away due to heavy traffic and a lane merge ahead.

When I looked back where it was, it was gone! No trace to be seen.

I could not tell exactly where it had been, but as I drove past all the Pine Tree forest to my left I looked for any trace of a sign, billboard, building, crane (there was a pair of large construction cranes, but they were well below treetop level), building under construction...etc., but there was nothing at the height of the grey disc shape I had seen.

I would say the object was 20 to 30 feet above the Pine Trees, making it 100 to 150 feet above the ground. The only aircraft I saw was a small twin engine cargo plane well east and north of the possible disc sighting area.

It was flying north at around 3000 to 5000 feet. Another short but odd sighting in this area since my last one on May 31st. I am now going to start carrying my digital camera with me again. I used to always carry it, but lack of any sightings made me give up after several months.

If I am starting to see some activity in this area, I hope the next sighting is long enough to get a photo at least. Well that's it for this one. Take care.

Large Bright White UFO/Disc Lake Country Okanagan Valley British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Upon staring out my window at the stars and sky like I do on a nightly basis, I saw a large bright white object that was never there before.

It was too close to the ground to be a star. It was wide and shaped like a disc and gleamed the brightest white that it made it hard to focus on.

I had to keep readjusting my eyes to this brightness. It was hovering well above the houses over a cow field and in the flight path to our airport.

I thought it may have been an airplane, but it didn't move. I ran downstairs to tell my family and came back up to find it was gone.

UFO/Disc Caught On Film Over Niagara Falls (Pictures)

The person who took this photo at Niagara Falls does not believe he captured anything, basically because in two subsequent photos taken right after this image, there's nothing there.

However, there is enough data present on this high resolution image to examine which suggests something was indeed there and at the least for that moment when this picture was snapped.

In the photo a distant monument of recognizable shape is visible giving us an excellent item to zoom in on with the same factor as we do the UFO.

This allows for a unique comparison of clarity in this high resolution digital image to determine how much distortion is taking place with the UFO in the image.

It would appear that the spire-like monument in the distance is considerably farther away than the UFO is from the photographer, else the UFO is gargantuan, which is unlikely.

This is clearly not a bird or a plane and has a distinct disc shape with corresponding shadow and highlight with the rest of the photo.

There is no evidence of digital tampering whatsoever. There also appears to be little or no motion distortion.

Note: Quite a few people have emailed to suggest that what the photographer caught was a blimp. Unfortunately, that can't be as we have two subsequent shots taken just seconds after this one and there is no object visible at all. It would take a blimp some time to cruise out of sight.

Huge Flying Saucer Shaped UFO 14 Miles East Of Auckland New Zealand (Text Report/Audio)

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I am hoping I will be able to catch up with the witness overseas. This is a very interesting sighting.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, I emailed you a few years ago regarding this sighting. You telephoned me at home on the only night that I am out of the house so I missed you.

I really would like to know what I saw the night in 1974.

By trade I was an airframe mechanical and systems fitter on military aircraft. At the time of the sighting I was working as an engineer officer with Cunard Cargo Shipping. We had left Auckland New Zealand and were sailing east at about seventeen knots.

The horizon was lit with the light of Auckland city. I went out onto an after deck and looked towards the stern of the ship.

About four miles behind was a light at sea level it looked like a fishing boat. The light then ascended straight up into the clouds in about three seconds. The light grew so large and so bright in intensity that it lit the whole of the sky. I remember thinking that no battery powered light could get that bright and so big.

The light then dimmed and descended to sea level and approached the ship on the port side. As it got to within about one hundred yards I realized it was a huge flying disc approximately eighty to one hundred feet in diameter.

It was the color grey shaped like a discuss thrown at a school sports event and had colored lights flashing slowly around the circumference in sequence one after another. It came up our port side slightly faster than we were going at about one hundred feet high and one hundred feet away.

It made absolutely no sound and no ripples on the sea. I became frightened and hid behind a ships derrick and peered at it from behind the derrick. It did not show on the ships radar. It came level with amidships and then turned to port and sped off.

What I would like you to answer is this: Are there or were there any 'black projects' at that time (1974) that you know of that resemble what I saw?

I believe what I saw was not from this planet. I would really like to get to the bottom of it before I leave this earth. Kind Regards.

White/Gray Disc Shaped UFO Flew Over Manomet Massachusetts

My son and I were at our home which overlooks the ocean and is nestled on a cliff.

We heard a high pitched whine, very similar to a high speed electric motor.

We looked away from the water, towards the house and a saw it.

A white/gray unmarked and almost triangular (but more rounded/disc shaped) object passed over our home about 20 feet from the roofline. So close I could see all the panels, etc. It was about 40 feet across and from front to end about the same size.

I'm prior military. It looked like a new kind of drone, and man made--and not by a novice. My son to this day still tells his friends he saw a UFO with dad.

After some digging on my own, a few locals stated supposedly there are top secret drones at one of the bases here locally in MA, maybe this was one of them.

Large Disc UFO With Lights Around The Edge Seen From Drive In Theatre Culver City California (Audio Report)

UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I spoke to the lady on the telephone who filed this report of the object seen over the drive in theatre in Culver City, California.

She related an amazing detailed account of what was witnessed, not only by herself, but others saw the unusual object as well.

Message: Some time around August 1965 I was at a drive in theatre in Culver City, California. At intermission time a huge disk with lights around the edge suddenly appeared to hover above the screen. It was fairly low, but high enough that we had to bend our heads down to see it through our front windshield.

My husband and were pointing and wondering when I looked around and saw others in cars nearby also looking and pointing. It stayed there for about 2 minutes and then banked off for about 2 or 3 seconds before just disappearing.

I've always wondered about it and tell the story once in a while. I recently told it to my 8 year old grandson.

When he asked me what it was doing there, I said,"Good question, I've always wondered that. Then I added that I thought it might have beamed something into my stomach, as I was about 6 months pregnant at the time, and after his mother was born her skin "buzzed".

I am a retired school teacher. I decided to do a search for sightings in Culver City around this date to see if anyone else saw this and wrote about it. I found nothing but did find several stories about drive-in theatres. Thought I'd tell you. Have you ever heard of buzzing skin?

No one was in sight, but yet I heard a weird humming noise. It got louder and louder, but I couldn't see anything. I tried to use my cell phone, but it wouldn't work. I had reception, but it still didn't work.

A light from the north caught my eye and as I turned around I saw a floating disc type thing landing a couple hundred yards away.

I was scared ! I froze, then ran back and got into my car and drove off in the opposite direction. As soon as I drove a short distance, I heard a loud crack from outside, and as I looked in my rear view mirror, I saw the object float up and then shoot across the sky and vanish.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, I emailed you a few years ago regarding this sighting. You telephoned me at home on the only night that I am out of the house so I missed you. I really would like to know what I saw the night in 1974.

By trade I was an airframe mechanical and systems fitter on military aircraft. At the time of the sighting I was working as an engineer officer with Cunard Cargo Shipping. We had left Auckland New Zealand and were sailing east at about seventeen knots.

The horizon was lit with the light of Auckland city. I went out onto an after deck and looked towards the stern of the ship. About four miles behind was a light at sea level it looked like a fishing boat. The light then ascended straight up into the clouds in about three seconds. The light grew so large and so bright in intensity that it lit the whole of the sky. I remember thinking that no battery powered light could get that bright and so big.

The light then dimmed and descended to sea level and approached the ship on the port side. As it got to within about one hundred yards I realized it was a huge flying disc approximately eighty to one hundred feet in diameter.

It was the color grey shaped like a discuss thrown at a school sports event and had colored lights flashing slowly around the circumference in sequence one after another. It came up our port side slightly faster than we were going at about one hundred feet high and one hundred feet away. It made absolutely no sound and no ripples on the sea. I became frightened and hid behind a ships derrick and peered at it from behind the derrick. It did not show on the ships radar. It came level with amidships and then turned to port and sped off.

What I would like you to answer is this: Are there or were there any 'black projects' at that time (1974) that you know of that resemble what I saw?

I believe what I saw was not from this planet. I would really like to get to the bottom of it before I leave this earth. Kind Regards.

Disc Shaped UFO Weave In And Out Among The Tall Trees At South End Of Saltspring Island British Columbia

Hello Brian, your recent CTV interview has motivated me to send you a note about my sighting on January 11, 2013.

I'm a fairly well educated professional and normally don't pay much attention to the topic of UFOs, but I'm beginning to think I may have seen something of interest to you. 

My home is at the top of a hill on the south end of Saltspring Island with a fairly broad view.

Sometime after 11 o'clock (sorry I don't have an accurate time) I was enjoying our hot tub which faces northwest when I saw a round object with lights weave in and out among the tall trees surrounding my home.   

The object appeared to be disc shaped, or an orb with a number of small lights.

Occasionally it seemed to flash two or three red lights. It came in from the north side of our hill and then seemed to hover higher in the sky to the southwest.

Below it I saw a circle of red lights which seemed to be on a roof lower down our hill.

While it hovered the lights changed intensity and the red lights flashed on and off. I have looked for that circle of red lights several evenings since and haven't seen them again. 

I eventually went inside as it was cold that evening and I was beginning to feel faint from the long time I gazed at the strange phenomena.

When I told family and friends about my experience, some immediately said UFO and others of course were skeptical as I was, but your CTV report has me wondering what I did see.

Several years ago I was working in Carmacks, Yukon, north of Whitehorse when I did see another strange object in the sky. I drove to a lookout north of the town to get a glimpse of a comet that was scheduled to be visible. 

I didn't see the comet, but I saw a round lighted object to the northwest that was somewhat similar to the one I have just seen. The lights didn't flash and seemed rounder.

The only other UFO sightings I have heard stories about were told by Cree elders I met in northern Saskatchewan who told stories of UFOs seen at the south end of Lac La Ronge. 

I hope my story makes some sense to you as I must say I find it most curious.

Large Jet Black Disc Shaped UFO Peeking Through The Clouds Over Helsingborg Sweden

Date:  Autumn 2011

Hi, this sighting happened in southern Sweden over the city of Helsingborg.

My wife and I were driving south on the E4 motorway approximately 20km north of Helsingborg.

In the distance, approximately over the city, but hard to be exact, we saw a very large disc shaped object partially peering through the clouds.

It was far in the distance, but we still saw part of the object clearly, as it the low clouds swept over it.

Jet black in colour and if my distance is correct, then this thing was enormous, as we only saw part of it, it could be 500m in diameter.

The sighting was over a year ago sometime in Autumn 2011. Regards.

Police Officer Observes Huge Cylinder Craft Hovering And Smaller Disc UFO Land In Northport Florida

Date:  February 4, 1991
Time:  Around noon.

On February 4, 1991 at about 12 noon while traveling north on route 41 in Northport I saw a huge cylinder UFO hovering above an intersection of I think Jacobean Road and a 4 or 6 lane highway with a divider.

I stopped at a light at the intersection behind a car carrying 3 women. There was also a Northport cop working an accident at that intersection. As I (and by the way I was also a Lee County Sheriff Department in a patrol car) was about to turn right into the highway, the woman in front of me swerved and went off the road.

They were all looking up and seemed to be panicking. I then looked up also and saw a huge UFO. Other cars across the road pulled over and watched too. While under the thing, I noticed  a smaller disc at about 100 feet high moving across the road.

It stopped and hovered, then did a falling leaf kind of thing then disappeared momentarily then reappeared  at a lower altitude and then landed in the woods off the highway. I continued to Fort Myers for my meeting. 

When returning off RT75 I went to that area where I thought it landed and found nothing. The next day I returned to the area and searched for landing gear impressions and found none.

I noticed that this place was a large area with a grid of over grown streets as if it were to be a subdivision, so it could of landed anywhere. I might add that the UFO looked at first like a blimp, but when I got under it I saw that it was metallic in nature and very big.

I'm thinking the disc came out of the UFO which I actually didn’t see happening. At that time I heard nothing of other witnesses and never heard of anyone else seeing this.

To this day it's always on my mind. I have over the years contacted several UFO organizations to no avail.

Diamond Shaped UFO With Rotating Orange Disc Around It Seen Over Chico California

Time:  Evening.

 

Hello, my friends and I were out past midnight here in Chico, CA at the beginning of the school year, around September of 2011. We saw two UFOs that night. One appeared to be a massive meteor that I was afraid was going to hit Earth near us.

 

It was a massive burning rock and it just hung in mid-air for about 10 or 15 seconds before it descended out of view. The second UFO was a diamond shaped aircraft that appeared to have a rotating orange disc around it.

 

My friend saw the orange too, and asked me what it was. I swear it appeared the orange rotating disc was the way it moved. No visible normal engines or anything either. It crossed the sky right above us.

 

It appeared to be flying lower than a normal airplane, but not really close.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello, I wanted to relate a close encounter that a close friend of mine had in the Summer of 1987 in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was on a golf course with a friend of his, they were playing a round of golf when they noticed two silver disc shaped craft approaching over the golf course.

 

The craft were approximately 40 to 60 in diameter and had the appearance of being constructed of polished putter.

 

The center of both craft seemed to have a metal ring that rotated in a clockwise direction. My friend also related to me that the objects moved in perfect unison at all times during this sighting.

 

He then went on to report that as the craft approached 3 CF-18 jet fighters were trailing them at some distance and seemed to be trying to intercept them. He went on to report that the CF 18 fighters changed formation as they came relatively close to the disc shaped craft, one plane seemed to assume a point position and the other 2 planes fell back.

 

Both of the disc shaped craft the shot across the golf course and stopped above my friend and his golf partner for approximately 2 to 3 minutes. He then reported that the disc shaped craft were 60 to 80 feet over his head at that time.

 

He noted that there was a revolving set of lights under the craft and that he and his friend seemed to be surrounded by static electricity, as well as the fact that the both craft did not make a sound except for a very, very slight humming noise.

 

He went on to report that at that time that the 3 CF-18 jets seemed to be closing on the 2 disc shaped objects which shot straight up stopping in unison instantaneously before shooting to the right, making the perusing jets look like they were standing still.

 

I still remember when he related this event to me, as he was holding a cup of tea in his hand and he had became very animated and his hand was shaking.

 

He developed leukemia within 6 to 8 months of the sighting and passed away about 6 months later, he was of the opinion that his illness may have been caused by his relatively close contact with the disc shaped craft.

 

The incident that I have described to you, stimulated my interest in the UFO field and I have been following developments since 1987. The Shag Harbour incident took place not too far from my local area, as well as a reported UFO landing site about 2 km away from my home.

 

In your study of the UFO field have other people who have come into relatively close contact with craft become sick or had other side effects. The weather conditions on the day of the event were excellent, clear blue sky unlimited visibility and very warm.

What I saw was 5 orange objects, they looked like air balloons to me, but my husband saw them as discs.

 

They were certainly quiet as they glided in the air, they were also very close. They came from the houses across the street, went up the street, then up into the clouds.

Glowing Red/Orange Colored Objects And Another Disc Shaped UFO Seen Over Northcliff Johannesburg South Africa

Time:  10:45 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 10:45 p.m. I walked outside our house to have a cigarette and looked up to see at least 5 or 6 objects in a staggered formation in the sky. They were all at various altitudes ranging from very low to horizon (from my vantage point) to very high altitude.

 

They were glowing red to orange and each one was a different intensity and colour. I noticed them as they were maneuvering around quite vigorously in the sky. I immediately ran indoors to call my housemate to come look at what was in the sky.

 

We both then went out and witnessed each of the craft move slowly up into the sky and at high altitude seemed to disappear. By 11:00 p.m. the last of the objects faded out and we then thought they were gone. I tried to get picture and video on my cellphone, but the camera could barely make them out.

 

I then noticed my housemate had a much better camera with a really big lens on it. He said he got a few snaps of them. Then suddenly I noticed one of the craft coming directly over our heads at height of about a 1000 meters. It was glowing white, but in a very faint fashion.

 

It was clearly a disc-shaped craft and moving as fast as a helicopter would, but in complete silence. As it passed over, it appeared to have a smaller glowing orb (spherical shaped) craft come out of the centre of the disc and drop down and move away in a westerly direction.

 

The main (or bigger) craft continued at the same height in an south westerly direction. Again we managed to get some pictures before the object disappeared behind the trees. The formation of the craft where originally to the north of our position (Northcliff looking north towards Midrand area).

 

The disc with the smaller orb like craft where heading in the direction of Soweto, the smaller craft after detaching and moving in the same direction, then veered westward toward Roodepoort. Entire sighting lasted roughly 20 minutes.

 

There was no wind, conditions where clear and mild with no clouds. Venus was clearly visible directly northwest of where we first saw the formation of craft and its a new moon here tonight so that rules out astronomical objects entirely.

Red White Disc Like UFO 80 To 100 Meters In Diameter Observed Over Boskruin Johannesburg South Africa

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 9:00 p.m. CAT I observed a flash of light in the sky in a southeast direction looking towards the horizon. I had observed a few interesting lights which I interpreted as aircraft during the evening and twice saw satellites pass directly overhead in low earth orbit.

 

I'm mentioning this as I know the difference between aircraft, satellites and astronomical bodies in the sky. The light that caught my attention was like a flare of plasma or when a gas (like methane) ignites.

 

It was bright and reddish white colour to it. What was interesting is that this plasma looked to have flames only at the edges.

 

At this stage the object was very high and my first reaction was that it was a meteorite entering the atmosphere. I realized pretty fast that this was not the case, as I heard no tell tale sonic booms or streaking tail of an object burning up on entry.

 

Instead the object "drifted" like a leaf down and to my left, paused in this position briefly (causing another "flare") then drifted down further to the right, paused again (another "flare") and drifted down and to the left again.

 

Whilst falling in this manner, the object became more visible as a disc and glowing like hot metal out of a furnace. The glow from this heat like effect was making the object stand out nicely against the dark night sky. It had descended about 25km in altitude to roughly a kilometer above the ground.

 

At this stage it stopped the falling motion and moved in an arc towards the west where I was standing observing it (arc went towards the north ending with the object moving westwards right towards my position). It continued to move towards me until it passed directly overhead.

 

At this stage it was about 800m above my head and had a diameter of 80 to 100 meters. This plasma flare with fire at the edges would occasionally occur (mainly when the object changed direction or height). It remained looking like hot metal the entire time I observed it, not changing colour at all.

 

Having observed military and civilian helicopters fly over during the course of the evening, I knew that this object is not a helicopter. It made no helicopter related sounds. It was not a fixed wing light or commercial aircraft. It made no audible propeller or jet engine sounds.

 

Furthermore it had no navigation lights (red, green, white lights that all aircraft are legally required to have on at night). It took about 3 minutes for entire sighting from beginning to end and ended with the object moving westwards at low altitude in complete silence was not of any technology I know of.

 

It was too big to be a terrestrial aircraft. it displayed no characteristics or design features of any known man made craft. It was completely silent and entered SA airspace from a low earth orbit height to about 80M above my head with relative ease.

 

The object was witnessed by myself and 2 friends that both work for the government at local and national advisor levels. Both of them failed to understand what we had just seen, what was even more upsetting is the fact that hey both refuse to talk about the event at all and have remained silent to the present.

 

I know what I saw, I can draw this object and show it’s flight path accurately if needed. It was a disc-like craft, 80 to 100 meters in diameter and passed 800m above my head in absolute silence emitting no light except for the glow of "heat of the metal exterior" marking its presence.

 

I will testify to these facts in any court.
