Light Rising From The Ground To The Sky Over Zephyrhills Florida (Chinese Lanterns)

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, my name is (name removed). I was on vacation in Zephyrhills and saw these lights. I walked outside and saw them. I ran inside to get the rest of the family.

Nobody knew what they were. I called my mom who was about 8 miles down the road.

I had her look outside and she just saw the very end of them.

The lights almost seem like they were floating, maybe with the wind.

They were going from the ground up to the sky. They went a long ways. I almost thought they might be those bags that fly up with a candle in them, but I think these
lights were to big and bright for that.

I don’t know what they were and it is still bugging me. I was at my in-laws in a trailer park for retirees. We got several others in the park to see them.

20 To 30 Red Orange Colored Lights Seen Over Zephyrhills Florida

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

 

1) They were reddish-orange.

2) They reminded me of the embers of a fire.

3) Kept appearing, and then eventually disappearing.

4) Large groups, then started to disperse and then ^

 

I saw it, then got my family and my neighbor saw it as well. I just wanted to make sure that we are all not crazy. :)

 

I know that they were not planes, because planes are green white and red lights, plus the air force base is the other way so the lights that I saw were flying the wrong way.

 

But they did remind me a lot like the embers off of a fire. There were like 20 or 30 in the sky at once, and they just kept appearing.

 

After they were gone, I did see many planes flying in the direction of where the lights were headed. My neighbor, who has lived in this area for over 5 years, has never not once seen something like in the sky ever, and I thought just the mannerisms in which they were flying were odd.

 

BTW: I am not some crazy person looking for attention. I am just clarifying that I was not the only one that saw them. Sincerely.

30 Orange Colored Lights Clustered Together Over Zephyrhills Florida

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, last night while at my neighbor’s house, when I left to walk home across the street, I couldn’t believe what I saw. Now mind you I am horrible with direction, but I live in Zephyrhills, so I would say they were coming from the south, at least 30 of them. 

Just orange lights, moving quickly, no sound and just vanished into the clouds. 

I was in such a state of aw I didn’t even think to run and get my camera. It was so odd. I was approximately 9:00 p.m. A lot were clustered together and others were in pairs of two.

Any idea what these are?
