Red/Orange Light Off Manomet Point Over Cape Cod Plymouth Massachusetts

Shape of Objects: Sphere.
Colour of Object: Very bright reddish orange.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mother and I both sighted a bright reddish/orange object for approximately 2 minutes moving in a southwest direction over Cape Cod Bay.

The object appeared to be above the altostratus level as it passed behind clouds at that level. The object appeared slow moving.

Upon inspection through binoculars there was no navigation lights like on aircraft and no flickering at all.

(Weather conditions, vis. 20+ miles, you could see across Cape Cod Bay. Some clouds, but mostly clear. Temperature 26F. Wind 0mph)

UFO And Home Shrouded By Fog At New Plymouth Taranaki New Zealand

Year 1984 or 1985.

The sighting was a long time ago, but I know it was reported in the local New Plymouth newspaper.

Approach Direction: Came from many directions high in the sky. Departure Direction: Vanished at close range (approximately 100 meters). Witness Direction: Southwest.

Description: I and a friend (who I have lost contact with) were waiting at the side of the road, approximately 1 hour north of New Plymouth (we had a motor cycle puncture, other friends had gone to get help). As the light faded and the night grew dark, we notice an intense white spot moving across the sky.

Over a period of about one hour, the spot move in a number of direction high in the sky. At times the light spot would move slowly and speed up into a blur and vanish.

At some point, I had this strange feeling, I looked up at a house behind me that was located on a hill abut 100 meters away. The house was shrouded by fog and above the house hovered a large disk of light. There was no sound, but a white cone type beam (wide at the top, narrow at the bottom)was scanning the roof of the house. I looked back at my friend and asked him if he saw the same thing and he seemed very scared.

I looked back at the house and the object has disappeared. In the local newspaper (I can't remember which one) the next day, many people reported sighting the object. To this day, I can't rationalize what I experienced.

At the time of the sighting I was living in New Zealand working on the Maui offshore gas rig. I now live in Long Beach/Los Angeles, California, and work for the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal. EPA). I would like to hear from people and find out more information on what happened on that night. I have never forgotten the experience, and to this day I believe what I saw was real and not man made. Any further information would be greatly received.

Color/Shape: White, round, cone shaped beam of light coming out of center.

Height & Speed: very high to 50 meters off ground. Acceleration was very fast. Object became a blur on a number of occasions.

TV/Radio/Press: I did not report the incident, but I know it was reported in the local Taranaki newspapers. I can't remember exactly, but it was either 1984 or 85?

Three Bright Lights Over Plymouth Devon UK

Time: Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed) and I just read your report on the lights you seen. Well on Monday evening, must have been around the same time my boyfriend and I were walking up to my friends house, and as we came out of the lane in the sky were two very bright lights in the sky.

It looked like bright stars. As I continued to watch, I noticed there were three lights, one was fading and then the brighter ones lowered themselves, then separated and sped out into the distance. I know it weren't Chinese lanterns or anything like that because nothing moves like that, and the lights were way too bright.

They looked like the kind of glow you get when welding, if you know what I mean.

I live in Plymouth Devon and its not the first time I've seen something similar, back in 2003 New Years Eve, early hours I had a similar experience whilst my x husband and I were walking our dog and this huge light in the sky zig zagged across the sky, stopped and seemed to follow me and my husband.

We later told our friend, well embarrassing, to whom she jumped in relief because she had seen the same thing and thought she was going mad. Since that night in 2003, I have invested in a pair of good binoculars and spend most of my time looking up. I'm so glad I'm not the only person who believes in UFOs and that someone else can confirm the sightings.

Orange Light Seen Over Plymouth UK

We have just seen an orange light over house in Plymouth. Upon reading the report filed at the end of June it seems an exact description of what we say but as it diminished another appeared from over the sound and follow the exact same path. I am usually a skeptic, but I can't explain it. Did anyone else see them? I feel like I'm going mad! Many thanks.

Flame Colored Orange Light Over Plymouth UK

Time: Approx: 10:35 p.m.

I have just (about 10.35 p.m. 26.06.10) witnessed an unidentified object in the sky over my house in Plymouth UK. I saw it out the window and thought at first it was the reflection of a tail-light or indicator light, but there was nothing in the street moving when I checked. It could have been either fairly low and moving relatively slowly, or at great height moving faster. It was really difficult to tell.

The light was steady and definitely a flame-coloured orange, so not an aircraft or helicopter as far as I can tell. It passed out of site over the house from my front window so I went to the back and after maybe 10-20 seconds saw it on the other side (travelling north-easterly, I think).

I opened the window but could hear no sound of aircraft or helicopter engines. As it approached the horizon it seemed to diminish in brightness and then just kind of winked out. I frankly don't know what to make of it. Regards.

Six Balls Of Orange Light Seen Over St Judes Plymouth UK

Date: March 5, 2010
Time: 11:15 p.m. -11:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: St Judes, Plymouth.

Shape of Objects: Small balls of orange light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: From my front window noticed three orange lights in a large triangle shape moving from the north to the south followed by another 3 the same size and in the same formation moving the same direction and speed. The lights were not flashing and moved steadily across the sky in one direction. Having lost sight from the front of my house, I moved to the back kitchen window and could only see two lights fading quickly until no longer visible.

The whole sighting probable only lasted about 30-60 seconds. I could not hear anything, but was in doors anyway. I've never seen anything like this before and I know what I'm looking at, having been brought up with parents in the RAF. Quite odd.

Difficult to guess the height, but didn't seem that high based on the time to move over my house.

5 Red Balls Of Light Over Plymouth Near The Barbican Area UK

Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

On Saturday evening about 10.45 pm my Husband and Son we were just coming out of an Indian restaurant which is on the back streets behind Plymouth Aquarium. We had a taxi waiting to take us home. We were taken back by 5 red balls (very bright) and low going very slowly across the sky. It was a very clear night with stars around.

One of the balls was lagging behind a little bit but they were soon all together in a straight line. It was uncanny because there was no noise and they were going quite slowly. We did not have any camera's on us, but thought someone else may have seen them. We did not see them vanish across the sky as unfortunately we could not let the taxi wait any longer.

Orange Light Sighting Over Plymouth UK - Chinese Lanterns

Hi Brian, My father witnessed these lights over Plymouth at the time you have stated. He and friends reported seeing 4 orange lights doing various things for approximately 30 minutes. Do you have any other info? Regards.

Brian, thanks for your reply. The time was shortly after midnight on New Years eve. Funny thing there is a banking advert on television presently (not sure if it is sky or terrestrial) which features these Chinese lanterns. Looks like these are a strong candidate for the answer. Regards.

Orange Colored Lights/Objects Over Plymouth In Devon UK (New Year)

Hi, I've just seen orange objects flying across the sky above Plymouth in Devon just after midnight, it lasted for about 15 minutes. They were flying from the west and the east heading south, they flew over in formation.
