Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was coming home from the local pub and noticed round orange lights in the sky ahead of me, they obviously were not any kind of aircraft I know of. They were round and orange and when close up looked like fireballs. One would fly over stop for a few seconds and shoot off into the distance without making any noise, then another would follow and shoot off in the same direction as the other one.

I saw 5 doing the same thing, they were timed to perfection, my dad and one of my neighbours also saw it happening, the only thing I think they could be are Chinese lanterns, whatever they were it was mesmerizing to watch.

Round Orange Lights Over Leighton Crewe UK

Number of Objects: 5 then down to one.
Shape of Objects: Round orange.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I first spotted the lights over Leighton Crewe, then moved in a line together. They then moved together one by one and went into the clouds, then one by one reappeared from the south, back into a line of 5. They moved from north to south then back to south to north then slowly moved into the clouds.

Bright Orange Balls Of Light Witnessed Over Crewe UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We got out of the car and my son noticed 2 lights in the sky. We to see all the Manchester airport traffic, but this was not there flight path. They too came from the east and travelled in a line to of which were very close together. They eventually faded all at the same point but slowed first. I am a keen aviation enthusiast and have witnessed rocket launches at Kennedy.

This was like nothing I have seen before. We live in a 3 storey property with clear views over fields. There were stars visible in the sky at the time. There was very little cloud cover. Ten minutes later I have noticed a possible military aircraft in the area.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Shortly after welcoming the New Year I was looking out of my bedroom window and saw these round objects orange in colour spreading across skyline they were not aircraft as they didn't flash and there was no sound they seemed to be in a formation but they eventually disappeared into the distance. I cannot explain them and wondered if anyone else witnessed them apart from my husband and I.

5 Spherical Orange Balls Of Light Over Crewe Cheshire UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On Christmas Day night my partner and I were out walking the dog, may I add we were both sober! In the sky we witnessed 5 orange balls traveling from the East following each other at equal distances apart. They were travelling fast and turned through a 90 degrees towards the north and continuing to follow each other. We lost sight of them for a moment due to being in an alley way but when we emerged we could see only 3 which continued off into the distance.

We live under a flight path and regularly see and hear planes as they are descending into Manchester/Liverpool but this appeared every different, the most noticeable differences being they did not flash, their orange colour their proximity to each other and the lack of noise especially on such a still quiet evening.
