A Silent Giant Solid Orange Ball Of Light Flew Over Cambridge Ontario

Date:  2014
Time:  Approximately 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, few months ago I had gone outside for a smoke, around 11:00 p.m. and had noticed a large solid orange globe flying low in the distance (west to east). It's not uncommon for there to be lights in the sky around here as I believe there is a flight path which runs over my part of Cambridge.

This was completely different. It was extremely low and seemed to be flying very slowly, at this point it was still a ways away. As it got closer (around two or three streets back) the sheer size of it was strange in its self, it was literally a giant ball of orange light.

There was no other flashing lights as there is with other craft having night time running lights. I got the girlfriend to come out side and take a look at it. Neither one of us could identify it.

As it flew over our house there was no sound at all. All the other planes that fly over our house you can usually hear prop or jet engines. This was completely silent. We watched the object for another 5 minutes or so as it continued to fly in a straight easterly path.

Within the light you could just barley make out a structure. I couldn't even speculate as to the structure of this craft as the light was so big and bright, (constant and non wavering) but you could just barely see something. That's about when we lost sight of it and we both went inside and talked about it for a bit.

It was about an hour/hour and a half later when I went back outside for another smoke and I noticed in the distance that the object was back. This time it seemed to be just hovering.

I opened the door and told the girlfriend it was back and closed the door. I then noticed that it was moving back and fourth in the night sky (North and South) it did this about a minute or two then I lost sight of it as the girlfriend came back outside.

Since that night I have not seen anything like that again.

Moon Sized UFO Flew Over Cambridge Ontario

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

 

On Tuesday around 9:00 p.m. my cousin and I saw a light orb in the sky. It moved fast. It was like a foggy bubble, but it was as if we were looking at the moon (around the same shape and size) and it was transparent. It was not the moon, as we saw that in the opposite direction.

 

It was very fast, lasting only about 20 seconds or so. I have no idea what I was, if you can shed some light on this for me I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Orange Glowing Light Flying In The Sky Over Cambridge Ontario

I live in Cambridge, Ontario and we also saw an orange glowing light yesterday Saturday April 7th. It was around 8:30 p.m. and was moving south.

 

I thought maybe it was a flying Chinese lantern but lost sight of it pretty fast..if same was spotted in Barrie then hmmm.

Funnel Shaped Luminescent Cloud Spotted In The Sky From Cambridge Ontario

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

 

We live in Cambridge, ON. On April 3, 2012, about 8:45 p.m., we went outside with the dog and saw a strange object in the sky to the northwest. At first glance it looked like it could be the moon, but of course it was in the wrong place.

 

Then we noticed that it was moving, slowly toward the horizon. It was a funnel shape that seemed to be a luminescent cloud. 

 

My sister and I watched it move in the sky for about 45 seconds and then it disappeared behind some clouds! We thought it could be a meteor because the luminescent cloud was more prominent in the front, that made it look like a half moon shape.

We were both shocked at what we saw and needed to investigate to see if anyone else had reported something similar. Thanks for letting us share.

Black Colored Boomerang UFO Spotted Flying Over Cambridge Ontario

Hello Brian, my name is (name removed).  I read your story this morning and was intrigued. I live in Cambridge Ontario, Canada. Last night around 9:30 p.m. (March 21/2012) I was in my girlfriends backyard checking out a cool astrology app I got for my iPhone.

 

I was looking towards my northwest at some star systems. After a few minutes, my girlfriend started freaking out and pointed out a boomerang shaped craft heading from south to north. It was moving at a good rate of speed.

 

The craft was a flat black color, silent and had no lights. I may add that it was a clear night with no clouds in the sky. This was not a big flock of birds. It was moving faster then any bird can ever fly.

It's elevation was approximately 600-700 feet and was about 70-80 yards from wing tip to wing tip. It was hard to tell because everything happened so fast.

This was the first craft I've ever seen, and same goes for my girlfriend. It was unbelievable! Hopefully I can see it again and maybe catch it on video. Hope to hear more stories like it.

Orange Colored Light/Object Spotted Over Cambridge Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On March 17, 2012, 6 of us were sitting out having a bonfire, when one of us noticed the orange object in the sky.

 

At first it seem to be just sitting there, not moving. Within seconds it started to move across the sky slowly, yet steadily. Again it sort of sat there and again began to move.

 

It was quite odd and we all knew it to be something different. We did get pictures but, not the greatest. I tried to video tape it, but for some reason, I couldn't get the image on my screen.

 

Sure was a sight to see and glad I wasn't the only one who seen it.

Large Orange Tinted Object And Other UFOs Seen Over Cambridge Ontario

Time:  Evening.

 

Hi, I just saw your post from 2010, hopefully this is still an active account. I saw the same thing you described last night, March 17, 2012, also over Cambridge, a large orange tinted light, bigger than a star, bigger than even Venus looks right now.

 

It moved straight up and then across the sky until we couldn't see it anymore, five minutes after that, to the south, we saw three crafts of some sort, with randomly flashing lights, not consistent blinking like planes.

 

They were sort of zigzagging around in one area before taking off much faster than a plane and completely silent. 

 

It was wild, my son and I were completely blown away! Of course I didn't have a camera (you never do when you need one, the camera in my phone stopped working yesterday, coincidentally).

 

We actually saw something similar to the one I first described, about six months ago, but it was white light instead of orange. 

 

It's very exciting, I hope I am lucky enough to see more one day, and to have a working camera with me when I do!

Two Unexplained Objects Seen Over Cambridge Ontario (Venus And Jupiter)

I live in Cambridge, Ontario, and I saw those same unexplained lights last night too. I wasn't sure if they were planets or stars, so I watched them for a better part of an hour.

 

During that time, the brighter of the 2 lights started to move a little, first to the right, then the left then up and down, then without warning it just disappeared, the second light then slowly faded till it was gone.

 

I have never seen anything like that before in my life.

Silvery Sphere UFO Escorted By A Military Jet Fighter Over Cambridge City Indiana

Hey Brian, I just stumbled upon this, and although it's old news (and, perhaps, irrelevant), I still had to respond.

My name is (name removed) and in the early summer of 2002,  I was living in Cambridge City, IN, which is near Richmond, which is near Dayton, OH.

Myself and three friends were crossing the street from a park, returning to my vehicle, when we saw this silvery sphere with no markings on it whatsoever.

It was there in the sky for about an entire minute and we watched as it was escorted, for lack of understanding, by a fighter jet.

We all assume it was from Wright Patt, but have no clue obviously. It was about 5:00 p.m., very light out still, low flying, and this thing made no noise we could hear over the jet's own.

I remember that it miraged it’s surroundings as if it was of a different temperature than the air.  You talk to anyone who has had a similar experience ?

Large Glowing Orange Lights Spotted Moving In The Sky Over Cambridge Ontario

Hello, my name is (name removed) I am a 22 year old recent college graduate living in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. This morning on  01/01/2012 my girlfriend and I were having a quiet (we were both battling a cold) New Years eve at my four story apartment building located in downtown Cambridge.

 

At exactly 12:23 a.m. a rather large glowing orange light caught my eye moving slowly in the skyline outside my apartment window. We observed this orb move across the sky trying to figure out if this was some sort of plane or helicopter.

 

Luckily I had binoculars close by and we were able to get a closer look. There was no shape or flashing lights visible, nothing typical of a passenger jet or helicopter. It was literally just a glowing ball traveling across the horizon.

 

Just as it was going to disappear from sight, we noticed another one appear on the horizon. This too took the exact same flight pattern, followed by 2 or 3 more. Each one then disappeared from sight in basically the exact location as the first.

I did manage to capture a pretty poor video from my cellular device, in which you can see 2 of the orbs. The quality is very poor and does not do justice to what we actually witnessed. I have never wrote anything about UFO's before, I consider myself a level headed person with strong morals and beliefs.

 

I also know the difference between a plane and a UFO. This was not a plane, this was multiple glowing orange balls traveling across the skyline and disappearing. I hope others saw what we saw and have a better video. Thanks.

Orange Oval Shaped Lights Seen From Outside Cambridge Ontario

We live just outside Cambridge, Ontario and my son and I saw the exact same thing at the exact same time. We reported it to the American Meteor Society and they explained that it must have been Chinese Lanterns which is BS, as it was a perfectly calm night.

 

Coincidentally there were numerous reports of a huge fireball that "exploded" and "fragmented" over Texas and was observed in Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania all around the same time and heading in a general north to south direction.

 

I believe what we observed were the blazing fragments of the object the entered the atmosphere over the southern states and broke apart.

Two Red Orange Objects/Lights Over Cambridge Ontario

Time:  6:45 p.m.

 

I just read this report about lights in British Columbia yesterday, because I searched for similar things as I just had this experience tonight at 6:45 pm EST in Cambridge, Ontario. I posted this on another UFO website and now sharing with you. I wrote the following:

2 reddish-orange orbs that resembled flames on a small candle flew in a southwestern direction below clouds. They appeared to flutter like a candle in a breeze. No noise. When the two disappeared, into what appeared to be the clouds a third similar orb in a similar trajectory repeated a similar action. 

 

After checking local weather it appears these light were below a ceiling of only 300 feet above ground. And there was light snow at the time. I would have loved to have gotten a picture, but only had IPhone with me. Would not have captured the light. Please let me know if you hear anything else or I guess I could just check back. Vivid Orange Oval Shaped Lights Seen Over Cambridge Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My family and I had just returned after watching fireworks for Canada Day. I went out on my back deck. I often look for satellites in the sky and have seen many, however that evening what I thought was a satellite at first moved closer into my view and looked more like a vivid orange oval shaped object.

 

I thought possibly it was a jet on fire, but there was no flames, smoke or flashing marker lights.

 

I called my wife to come outside to see it. We both watched it move across the sky from south to north, silently gliding slowly over us.

 

The orange light moved across the sky until it became very small and turned into a small white dot and disappeared. We thought this was a once in a life time experience.

My wife went back in the house and I stayed outside watching the sky. Surprisingly another one appeared on the horizon, I again called my wife, we watched the orange light glide in the same pattern as the first and leave exactly the same way.

 

My wife said to me afterward, she had enough time to look around our yard and at me to see if the light reflected on anything during this viewing. It didn't.

 

She experience a moment of fear because, she could not say exactly what this light was before she looked back at the object as it glided out of sight.

We are sure other people have seen this. It was so unbelievably obvious.

Bright Orange Red Lights Over Cambridge Ontario

 

Date:  July 1, 2011

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

 

I was out on my back deck when I saw a bright orange reddish light up in the sky coming form the south. I've never seen anything like it before. I always enjoy spotting satellites and gazing up on a clear night, but this reminded me of a rocket or a cruise missile. 

 

As it came closer, I called my wife to come see. As it got closer with my wife watching, I could make out a shape, it looked to be shaped like a jelly fish or a parachute shape in the front with a little red orange light glow from the sides, a much larger orange red bright glow from the rear like a solid fuel rocket but no flickering.

 

We watched this thing pass almost overhead then fade to small white light. I thought 2 or 3 little white lights, but my wife thought one, then it disappeared.

 

We were dumbfounded, I told her “that was a once in a life time experience” She went back inside and I thought dam, I wish I had my camera. Then to my surprise another 1, flying exactly the same track appeared. I called my wife and told her she came back out. 

 

Then we witness it do the exact same thing.  The time was approx. 23:00 July 1st 2011. Location Cambridge Ontario. I know this was Canada Day and fireworks where over except for a few lingering small cherry bombs and the like. This had nothing to do with any of that. These things did not make a sound. I would guess the altitude to be both 6000 feet.

Red Orange Colored Ball Of Flames Spotted Over Cambridge Ontario

Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

 

Hello, I was trying to find out if I saw a UFO. I don't believe in this kind of stuff, but since that night I am starting to believe. My husband and I and our 2 kids were outside at around 10:30 pm on Sunday July 3, 2011 in Cambridge, ON.  We spotted something in the distance. 

 

It looked like a huge ball of flame at first. It was a reddish orange colour, and very bright. It was the brightest thing in the sky. I grabbed my camera, and took 2 pictures. They didn't work. By the time I took my second picture it was already over top of us. 

 

It then looked round, and didn't look like a flame anymore. You could see purple, and blue lights (not flashing). You couldn't see behind it. It travelled very fast, faster then any airplane. It was also pretty low in the sky. When I noticed that my camera didn't work, I just tried to take other pictures of the stars to see if that would work, and they turned out fine. It lasted about a minute to a minute and a half. 

 

Any ideas on what this could be? It was a very scary moment for me.  No one can tell me it was a plane, or shooting star, or helicopter because I know what I saw, and it was nothing like anything normal I see on a daily basis. Thank you.

Orange Glowing Objects Over West Galt Area Of Cambridge Ontario

Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Hi there, I live in the West Galt area of Cambridge Ontario and last night at a family BBQ, myself and several of my guests saw an orange glowing object moving towards us from the North Dumfries area along 97 in the western area of the sky. It appeared to be pulsing with light and moved erratically. At times seeming to pause then disappear then reappear and shoot off.
My mom attempted to photograph and video it, yet while it showed up on the screen of the camera, the image was entirely black.

Sightings happened at approximately 11:30 pm and 2:00 am, but I can't be sure as I didn't think to check the time. Thank you.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It looked like a large ball of white fire dropping from the sky to the ground. I have seen shooting stars before, this was no shooting star. Both my son and I saw it and were amazed. We were driving eastbound between Woodstock and Cambridge, Ontario when we saw it right in front of us to the north.

Very large and unusual. Still perplexed and looking for other mention of sightings or reports of meteors or something to explain this remarkable sight.
