A String Of 10 Lights/UFOs Hovering In The Sky Over Jackson Georgia (Nice Graphic)

Full Description of event/sighting: A friend and I were traveling in my car and came to a stop sign at a "T" intersection in Jackson, Georgia USA.

It was very dark as we were out in the country and there were no street lights within miles. When we stopped at the intersection, both of us looking through the front windshield noticed a string of large, bright round lights hovering just above a stand of pine trees that were approximately 70' in height and about 50 feet away.

We counted 10 lights in all and they were spaced approximately 20 feet or so apart. Just below each of the larger lights was a smaller light that was either strobing, or flashing.

We couldn't see any type of craft(s), so didn't know if the lights were attached to one object, or whether they were separate objects. Our first inclination was that these were helicopters.

I rolled down my window to see if I could hear anything, but there was no noise coming from whatever the lights may have been attached to. My friend then got out of the car to see if he could identify what they were.

He then jumped backed in the car, spooked, and asked me to "get us the hell out of here!" So I took a right hand turn and we sped away.

After going a few miles down the road our curiosity had gotten the best of us and we decided to turn around to go back to see if the lights were still there.

Upon returning to the intersection where we saw the lights we noticed they were still right where they were when we had left a few minutes prior, in the same position.

We stopped for a few seconds to look at them again and suddenly all 10 lights rotated to face us in the car. At this point both of us were freaking out and I said: "Whatever it is, it must be one ship with 10 lights". Then, all of the sudden, the lights took off from a standstill at such a speed that within literally 1 second they were past the horizon.

As the lights sped off they separated, and were probably miles apart by the time they were dots on the horizon.

Later that evening, after telling all of our friends and family about what we had seen, we called the radio station to see if any others had called in about the lights.

The person at the station said that no one else had reported seeing anything and that what we had seen was probably weather balloons. Since when do weather balloons travel at such speeds?

Additional Information:

Brian, I use Photoshop all the time so put together an image that looked almost exactly like what we saw. The lights were lined up above the trees just like this for about 10 minutes or so before they suddenly sped away at a speed difficult to comprehend.

Oval/Bullet Shaped UFO Spotted In The Sky Over Jackson Georgia

I saw this exact same UFO in 1996 in Jackson Georgia, it was a very secluded area in the woods.

It is extremely fast and capable of making fast curve motions.

It is oval (bullet) shaped and it was about the size of a car.

It passed by our car going in the opposite direction, and flew past the top of our car. I was about 14 with my mom driving.

Black Triangles UFO Spotted And Filmed Over Morganton Georgia (Pictures) ?

Time: Daytime sighting.

Hi Brian, on May 2, 2008, I shot three pictures with my new Canon G-9, a very fine camera. As is the case with many photographers nothing was seen in the sky during the shooting.

When reviewing my pictures, I had three objects in the three separate pictures. Two were black triangles and the third was more like a rectangle?

After downloading to my computer, I was amazed at how clear and sharp the photos were.

I will be able to send them to you by e-mail, however I can't seem to be able to put a blow up of each object on the originals in separate boxes.

I can send the 100% enlargements of the objects in each of their own smaller boxes. This would make a total of six pictures.

If you know how to superimpose the smaller pictures on to the full sized originals. I would appreciate help in that regard.

I'm new at pictorials on my computer, so I'm pretty much in the dark and am using trial and error methods (not always successful).

I had tried to call you, but got a fax tone. Hope you are feeling fine now. Sincerely.

Additional Information:

I had the urge to take three pictures with my Canon G-9. Weather was nice, with a few high thin clouds. I like to sky watch, looking for strange objects and have seen many, but without my camera.

I went out to the deck on the north side of the house, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I went ahead with taking three random shots, one northeast, one north and back to the northeast for the final shot.

Loading on to my computer there appeared three objects, two black triangles and one unknown form. Also barely visible were a number of black dots, two of which were relatively easy to see on the first picture from my northeast position, (the one with Chestnut Oak trees in view).

Needless to say, I was shocked to have captured all of these objects in a time period of two minutes. The times on the camera clock were 18:17 and 1818, EST. I'm having difficulties sending the three pictures and close-ups of all three at one time so I'll have to send each picture separately.

Neon Green Balls Of Light In The Sky Over Appling Georgia

Hi Brian. I'm not sure if this email is still legit, anyways, (it is) I've been seeing these neon green balls of light since around 2012, first in Atlanta, then Macon, but just last night as I was turning into my driveway, one so very close and probably the most beautiful one I've seen.

All have been late at night, and I've also seen the bright white light.

Huge Brown Colored UFO With Spikes Observed Flying Over Griffin Georgia (Diagram)

Full Description of event/sighting: Well I saw something when I was a little girl. Here goes. I was 6 years old, I was sitting on the steps of my front porch cracking pecans (wearing a red dress, white sweater and bonnet that tied under my chin- this detail given due to vivid memory).

It was windy. I looked up and saw this huge brown ball with spikes slowly passing overhead. It made no sound. No lights, this was in the daytime. As it passed over top a huge pecan tree in a neighbor's yard, I watched for it to come out on the other side of that tree as it should have, but it never did. I then went right inside and told our housekeeper/maid Lillie, yes she was like family, about what I had seen.

She told me that it was probably one of those new airplanes from New York because they were always making new things up there in New York. Over the years, I always knew that I had seen this thing, reminding me of like a huge beechnut in the sky. Not anything like UFOs as I would come to hear of them, it wasn't shiny or metallic, not saucer like, no lights, no sound.

I decided to check out photos on some of the UFO websites to see if I could find anything that would remotely resemble what I had seen and was shocked when I did find it, something so much like it.! I really couldn't believe it.

What I had always thought of as spikes were being referred to by other witnesses as 'tentacles'. Along with the photos of it, there was a drawing/diagram indicating how the tentacles lowered downward to land in standing position.

This part of what I had seen made more sense to me then. The one I saw appeared to have more of the 'tentacles' than the one in the photographs I am posting link to, also the one I saw appeared to have outline of a door. These photos were taken in 73 and my sighting was early 70s also.

I have done a sketch of my sighting. The difficult part was getting a good enough shot of it on digital camera. I uploaded to a host which seems blurry to me, I don't understand why, was more clear on my system so am attaching a few copies of it from 'my pictures'... I'm not sure if you can 'help' it in any way or make it appear clearer, but you are sure welcome to try and I would appreciate it!

I want to tell you, that I showed this sketch photo to my mom for her opinion about the old neighborhood part, and she said to me....' you know that's probably significant that you are mentioning that there is the field behind the house.' She then said 'you know there were 3 adults at the top of the hill one night (at Stella Way) that said they saw something hovering over the trees behind our house back there in that field'...... and I'm like 'Mom, you never told me that!, how old was I '? I said, and she said I was probably just a baby.

You can add that to my sketch area if you like, I thought it was interesting piece of information to receive all these years later. Another thing, it was not until I began drawing that sketch, that it ever occurred to me, that there was a huge field all around the neighborhood. Imagine that.

Chinese Lanterns Released For Chinese New Year Celebration Marietta Georgia

Brian, we released about 15 sky lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Years at about 10:30 p.m. (I think) on Saturday 2/5/11.

 

We are about 0.5 miles due west from the Square. They were gorgeous, each carrying a wish for the New Year.

 

They achieved pretty high altitude, and I can definitely understand that without any context, these lanterns could've been pretty eerie.

 

They drifted mainly East over the square and probably burned for 5-10 minutes. I attached some pictures.

Green Light Falls From The Sky Over Atlanta Georgia

I'm a resident of Atlanta. Last Sunday I was standing with a co-worker at the intersection of McDaniel Street and Fulton Street at approximately 2:00 a.m., my co worker and I looked up and saw a green light that appeared to be falling at a very sharp angle.

 

The speed of it was enough to freak me out as it covered what appeared to be about 300 yards in about 2 seconds. Is this becoming frequent in the Atlanta area?

Bright White Object Fell From The Sky Over Pavo Georgia

This morning March 22, 2012 around 7:00 a.m. my daughter was sitting with her children waiting for the bus, when she called me very excited saying a bright white light fell straight down from the sky.

 

I ask her to size it, and she said some thing a little larger than a washing machine. We live in Pavo, GA and that is very south almost to the Florida line near Valdosta.

White Light Turned Yellow And Burnt Out Over Tallapoosa Georgia

Football Shaped UFO Tumbles End Over End And Follows Witnesses Truck At Monroe Georgia

 

Date:  May or June 1979

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Travelling down Hwy 78 to Monroe from Winder, GA., when the object was first sighted by me. 

 

I confused this with the Goodyear blimp, but message was unrecognizable. The object made to right hand 90 degree turn and paced our truck to my brother's home in Monroe.

 

As the object made its turns, it flipped end-over-end like a football rolling on the ground. The object then hovered for approximately 10-15 minutes, while being observed by around 15 people attending my brother's re-marriage to his wife.

 

The object was composed of multicolored lights blinking in a random pattern. It was glowing eminently toward the center, no solid surface was noted.

 

The object was absolutely silent and then shot straight up and disappeared into the night sky. No other effects were noticed by witnesses.

Two Bright Lights Seen Over Carrollton Georgia (Venus And Jupiter)

Bright Green Circular Light/Object Falling From The Sky Over Kennesaw North Georgia

Hi Brian, I was driving home last night headed north in the Kennesaw area of North Georgia. It was approximately 9:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

 

I saw a bright green circular object looking to be falling out of the sky in a diagonal line. It looked a little like a shooting star, but not quite, it seemed bigger.

 

I tried as best as I could, to watch it whilst driving. It seemed to disappear before impacting with anything, there was an plane in the sky at the same time.

Large Flash Of Green Light Shoots Across The Sky Over Georgia United States

Rectangular Box Like UFO With Lights Over Columbus Georgia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was standing in my front yard and my wife was on the porch. I noticed something above the tree line over my neighbors house across the street.

 

I called my wife down to look and we noticed what looked like a rectangular box with lights in front and back, almost to say, like a car floating in the sky. We didn't hear any noise coming from it and it moved pretty slow.

 

It crossed over the street and disappeared. It was gone as quick as we saw it. If I hadn't been watching the sky, I would of never seen it.

UFO With Lights Observed 2 Miles West Of Wrens Georgia (Diagram)

 

Date:  January 28, 212

Time: Evening. 

 

Hi! My name is (name removed). I was heading toward a trailer I own on Gamble Mill road just off Highway 88 at around 8:50 p.m. on January 28, 2012. Just off Highway 88 west about 2 miles from Wrens I saw an object to my right.

 

It was at an altitude of a small airplane flying the same direction as me, which was heading toward Sandersville on 88. The object had extremely bright lights which were 2 red lights in the middle and surrounded by white lights.

 

It was not a full circle of white lights, but had almost a rectangle shape. Two lights at the top seemed to appear as two lights close together, with one set over each of the red lights while ones on the side further down looked like one individual lights on each side directly across from the two red lights in the middle.

 

There where more lights around at the bottom, but can’t remember if they matched the ones at the top. I would lose sight of it when I got close to tree lines and when down in valleys. When I got near where I was to turn off on Gamble Mill road, it was just behind the lighted tower on that road.

 

I lost sight of it when I went down in the valley just before I would turn off at the top of the hill. When I got to the top of the hill at Gamble Mill road I could no longer see it. I speeded to 80 mph and kept traveling down 88.

 

At about 2 miles I saw it again, but it had apparently took off at a high speed. I could see it way off ahead just above the tree line and as far as I could see which was miles ahead. I watched as it just flew away out of sight in a second.

 

I called the neighbor who lives next to my trailer which is just past the tower on Gamble Mill road. I told them what I had just saw fly near their trailer. They said that at that time their two dogs which where in the trailer started barking and raising cane.

 

They had never done that before and so they went outside to see if something was outside the trailer, but seen nothing. I think the dogs heard this thing making some kind of sound that a human could not hear and that's why they where barking.

 

This thing had no flashing lights and almost looked like a flying symbol of lights rather then what you see on an airplane. Also appeared much larger than a plane. Planes do have a red light on that side, but this one had two red lights.

 

Usually a plane has a white flashing light. I made a rough drawing of what I saw. Thanks.

Serviceman Observes UFOs Over Moody Air Force Base Valdosta Georgia And In The North Atlantic

I was stationed at Moody Air Force base in Valdosta, Georgia in the early 70’s. My job was training student pilots in the flight simulators I was assigned to.

I was making a milk run for my family one evening in 1973, driving from our house to the base convenience store. 

The sky was clear and if you know anything about South Georgia you know that the lay of the land is very flat.

I observed an extremely fast moving light about 30 degrees above the horizon moving roughly south to north from the air base. I slowed down to watch what I now believe to be a UFO moving across the sky at an incredible rate of speed.

I observed the object abruptly change direction by what I would estimate to be 30 to 40 degrees to the east. Within just a few seconds the object was no longer in sight.

About 30 to 60 seconds later I saw two chase planes leaving the air base in what appeared to be an attempt to intercept the UFO.

The planes used to chase the object are supersonic jet training planes. What I observed was an object that was moving at what I would estimate to be at least five times faster than the jets in pursuit. Result – not even a contest. UFO was gone!

After separating from the Air Force in 1978 I worked a few odd jobs in the electronics field. I acquired a job with the Naval Oceanographic office in 1981. I was an electronic technician assigned to an oceanographic research ship that surveyed the North Atlantic.

One cloudless October evening, about 2 hours before sunset while in the North Atlantic above the Arctic Circle, I decided to take a short break while there was a lull in the ship’s activities.

I walked out to the fantail of the ship and sat with my feet hanging off of the starboard side of the ship.

The water was amazingly calm and clear. About a quarter mile from the side of the ship I observed the water glowing from below which as you might imagine immediately caught my attention.

Imagine an extremely bright spotlight shining up through crystal clear ocean water from a depth that was in the neighborhood of 8-10 thousand feet deep.

Within what I estimate to be about 2-3 seconds, a sphere of white light exited the water. I would estimate the size of the object to be the size of a beach ball.

As if that in itself was not amazing enough the object did not disturb the water at all upon exiting and was totally silent.

The object left the water and ascended vertically at an unbelievable rate of speed. I would estimate the time from exiting the water to moment the object disappeared from view into the clear evening sky to be less than 3 seconds.

50 Minutes Of Missing Time In Atlanta Georgia

 

Date:  Summer 10 to the 15th 2001

Time:  Daytime.

I was just actually looking for somewhere to post my story.

I have never spoken of this, except to my family. I have been trying to explain it for years.

It was 2001, I was driving to KY from Georgia to go pick up my kids for their Summer vacation. At that time it was the 10-15th time. I have driven through Atlanta, GA to pickup or drop off my kids.

 

What I can't explain is, that year I remember coming into south Atlanta on I-75, about 10 miles from downtown. The next thing I remember is is being about 10-15 miles north of Atlanta, GA.

 

Now, I remember being very tired at the time, so I'm not sure exactly what happened. What's strange is, this happened during the daytime, in heavy traffic. I cannot account for about 50 minutes of my life.

 

I know this may sound weird, but it happened. I am an expert at traveling and driving, so what happened? Did something take over, intervention, memory lapse? How can I drive through Atlanta traffic asleep and be writing this today?
