Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike's Note: There is some excellent footage taken of this event.

Brian, to help to understand the film, it is very important to view the film I have following the event in night shot. I did that right after I lost those lights and could not find them again.

It's important to see this because in night shot you can see all the trees and layout of the approximate place I was filming. The trees are a key factor in which the lights disappear from time to time when I move to the right or left or up and down.

I did not even realize that at the time because I did not see all the trees in the dark and was just focusing on the moon.

I hope that will clear up some of the questions when the skeptics do there thing. Now I will try to explain the whole situation of that night.

First off hand, I don't remember the exact month. We had the blue moon, but I'm sure it was August or September and this filming took place on the second night. I am pretty sure because what I do remember is forgetting about the blue moon and I remember being happy I saw it on the second night.

I believe I went to pick up my wife from work and noticed the moon coming up really big and orange, so when I got home I grabbed my camera and went into the back yard to get a good picture.

I always am interested in full moons, just because of there beauty and also one can look at a full moon with binoculars and get a pretty good view.

Also I have taken some pictures in the past that have turned out quite well.

I set my camera on the sunset and moon mode in the auto position which allows you to maintain atmosphere when you are recording sunsets, general night views, firework displays and neon signs.

In this mode the camcorder is set to focus only on distant objects. You may be able to set the exposure manually, but in this case that was not done as I haven't learned how to do that yet.

As I started filming and the first thing I wanted to do is find the right distance with the zoom and the right mode and lighting settings. I already had it set at 20x, so I left it there and began filming and experimenting.

I wasn't expecting to have these lights show up, so I was not trying to be very professional. In the dark it is hard to find the settings for brightness, so it was necessary to basically quit filming to find the settings so I lose the moon momentarily and then when I refocus I began to zoom out and I notice two lights that are dim, and I have come to the conclusion that they are just two lights in someone's yard that are lined up with each other and are lower and through a opening in the fence.

I am pretty sure this is not a part of the phenomena.

As I zoom back in I notice a flash out there in the view finder. Even though this flash was a little different than all my other experiences, it still alarmed me right away because at this time I was convinced or I convinced myself that since I did the praying for the UFO phenomena to go completely away, I suddenly felt that maybe UFO's were not completely out of my life, so at this time I immediately recalled the black box like object that came zooming in directly from the east and stopped on a dime, and hovered for about two seconds right above my house with me lined up with it at 90 degrees.

So it was exactly straight in front of me, just above the treetops and then took off at the same bullet speed straight west.

That is when I came running into the house very upset and started praying.

Also I quit going outside to observe. Didn't mean to get off the subject, but just thought it might be helpful to know what was going through my mind at that moment.

So as the camera is still shaking with me struggling with the settings, it begins to pick up these lights with two, and then three in the form of a triangle which immediately made me suspicious, because of all the little coincidences that have involved three's and triangles.

At that moment I realized that by taking my eyes off the view finder and just trying to see them with my own eyes, I could not see even one light.

There is a fence in front of me about five feet high so I am standing about 20 feet on this side of the fence with the viewfinder looking over the fence just focusing on the moon.

As I said before, there are trees directly in the line with the moon that are all still fully leafed. Even before it shapes into a triangle, I guess you can see other smaller lights that match up with the other two lights as if they are coming off the main light.

Anyway, it suddenly turns to four lights and other smaller lights seem to morph off the brighter ones if I would have been aware of all the tree branches out there.

I would of done a better job of keeping it focused on just the one area, but being I did not notice that at the time I notice now that when I moved the camera even a little left or right the lights fade out due to the branches. At the time it just appeared to me as if they were going on and off by themselves.

There may have been times that they did do that, but it is very hard to be definitive on that. Also to the right you will notice a bright light high with the moon. I have studied that many times and it looks to me as if the first time that light shows up, it might be part of the phenomena, but later as the moon is rising and sliding further south the bright light to the right is a street lamp that is a half block over to the south on a hill.

A good example on how the phenomena like to play with your head. Now when it gets to four lights, closely resembling a square they seem to be right below the moon and you begin seeing other smaller lights morph off or just show up in line with them, and when I notice the fourth one light up I was pretty surprised and awed.

At this point I realized I was getting something very strange and bizarre. My excitement level defiantly takes on a new form as I am being awed. They seem to separate from each other or morph so to speak.

I have heard other people talk about morphing on UFO reports so I immediately associated this sighting with a possible UFO event and I was excited because I had come to the conclusion I would never be able to get a actual UFO on tape because for me the UFO's I saw always moved to fast for the camera to even get a chance to focus or I didn't have a camera with me.

Then as the four are sitting there, the two on the top right seem to rejoin together as the one in the back comes back into the original one in the front and then it starts to reform in front of it and a little to the left of the original one.

At that point I realize for sure they are not street lights or yard lights and I am getting something very bizarre. At the same time with the two on the left, one suddenly appears in the middle of the two making the event even stranger.

Then the one in the middle suddenly disappears and shows up on top or behind the one on top, which pretty much blows me away at this time.

Also the one on the right bottom seems to be struggling or its morphing capabilities are just taking a little longer or maybe it is suppose to do something different, but can see other little balls sort of melting off of it.

Then as I zoom in a bit more, it turns out to be a string type of thing, the seems pretty long. Then suddenly the one on the left bottom turns out to be two of them, and the one on top left turns into three.

It was pretty hard to absorb as it was all happening fast. At this moment I wanted to have someone else witness this with me, so I turned the camera and moved towards the house to yell for my daughter.

I realized quite fast that she probably wouldn't hear me, either being on the phone, or listening to music, and the windows closed with the air conditioner running.

All of a sudden, they dim out, and I see one on the right that is up high and quite bright and at this moment I think it is part of a phenomena and maybe one of the main ones.

Then they start reappearing closer to the moon looking right behind it. But here it gets confusing because of the tree interference, and I perhaps played with the zoom too much.

They seem to jump around a bit here. Then they start to slip farther down from the moon and again in a different formation, but one cannot tell how many are being blocked out from the trees.

Now at this point you will see a street light as I pan to the right. Then in a different formation, laid out with three of them in an oblong gated V-form, there seems to be a flash above the one on the right, and at the same time there are suddenly two in the middle again and then the electrical impulses start between two of them on the right.

The Intensity magnifies as electrical impulses or lasers are sent in a revolving matter between the two on the right. The one on the bottom right starts to brighten and flare out almost forming two of them, while the one on the top right seems to have its energy drained out.

At this point I just make a sarcastic remark (Star Wars), as I started having fun with the absurd. All of a sudden there is one the left that almost dims out, but then in the blink of an eye it turns very bright and intense, and with one below that, it seems to go up in smoke or something.

Just very strange indeed. I wanted to reset the camera to super night shot, but I didn't want to risk losing what I was seeing because it always takes time for night-shot to focus.

Then as I try to figure things out I realize the one on the far right that comes into view is a street light a half block over that sits up on top of a hill. Everything east of that is at a lower altitude.

When I moved and tried to find the place I was standing again I was getting a lot of tree interference so I thought I would try to get higher on the deck or roof of my house but was unable to.

About now I pretty much blew my opportunity to get anything and when I tried to find my spot they were just showing up sporadically here and there, so I decided to go ahead and put in super-night-shot mode and with that you can see the trees and fence and street light to the right and if you look long enough you will see as I zoom out a little that there is a object or craft right above me.

Some people will say it is a lens flare or light reflection, but take a good look at it and you will see how black it is and also the two glass like lit lights right in the front of the craft.

Even when I was filming, I did not notice this. I would like to think that was there way of saying good-by to me.

I did pray I would not see UFOs again, and I didn't. The camera did though. As I said I never saw anything with my eyes and that mode was set for focusing in on distant objects. Apparently it did.

So maybe they were saying good-by with a good laugh at my expense. I did have those three cases of sleep paralysis though after I did my praying. That was absolutely terrifying.

Eyewitnesses Observe Spectacular UFO Events At Yankton South Dakota (Text Report/Audio Interview)

Shape of objects: Circle, then morphed to angel shape.

Full Description of event/sighting: My late husband and I were at my father-in-law's house and had finished visiting. We walked outside and noticed that a couple of people in the Burger King parking lot (which was next door about 500 yards away) were looking up in the sky.

The night was clear and I remember that the stars could be clearly seen. All of the sudden my husband said "look at that cloud!" It was a perfectly circular cloud moving directly north and was about as high as a small plane would fly.

I thought this was odd because there was a breeze coming from the south and this was the only cloud in the sky. The cloud stopped moving directly overhead and began to flash like a rainbow or an aura. Red, yellow, blue green, purple, pink, etc. It was emanating from inside the cloud and you could see the colors on the edge of the cloud brightly.

The colors were more like a flowing out than a pulse. My father-in-law ran inside the house out of pure fear, and yelled at my husband and myself to come in. My husband moved to the front door under a tree and for some reason I could not find the strength to move.

I knew that this was important and needed to see it. I stood there for about 2 minutes when all of the sudden the cloud started to drop rapidly until it was about 200 feet overhead.

I actually felt a pressure and thought it was going to crush me. I didn't hear any sounds or smell anything. I just felt paralyzed. The flowing lights continued the whole time the cloud was right above me. I am not sure how long I stood there, but the next thing I know, it felt like whatever was in the cloud was gone.

The cloud slowly spread out and rose up in the air, and the lights continued to flow. It was quite beautiful and I remember being mesmerized. As the cloud spread out and the lights continued I will tell you something that even I don't want to say because it sounds so "out there" !

The cloud actually took on the shape of an angel with wings and the lights seemed to emanate from the center outward to the tips of the wings.

My husband had since come out from under the tree when the cloud moved up in the air. We stood there for about 15 minutes watching this shape with its lights until it just eventually dissipated and there was nothing left. Other normal clouds had moved into the area, and they did not have any lights flowing, as we had assumed this might have been the Aurora Borealis.

My father-in-law never came outside and more strange never mentioned this again. The other observers in the Burger King parking lot were gone, and I don't remember when they left.

I have always remembered this and have always felt that something extraordinary happened. I am just now reporting this because for the first time I read of some one reporting to you of a similar experience (7/15/07 Rense.com). I have never heard of this particular type of thing and I have searched for many years to hear of this.

Well, that's it and if someone could let me know something about this, I would really appreciate it.

Four Orange Lights Spotted Above Watford City North Dakota

My family and I just saw four lights in North Dakota over Watford City.

They were orange and seemed to be in a diamond shape.

At first we thought they were part of the oil field but they had no source and more of them appeared for about ten minutes until they faded.

Blue Cylinder UFO Descends To The Ground In Milton North Dakota

Date:  December 2014
Time:  After dark.

Number of Objects: 1-2
Shape of Objects: Cylinder and round with wings that cured inward.
Colour of Object: Blue.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was out walking the Coulee bottom early evening when I saw this blue cylinder light descending down low over the ground.

It continued down and grew in length, then after a few minutes, a second object seemed to come out of the Ribbed cylinder tube and proceed to move away from me.

It was the same blue color, it was round in the center with a pair of wings that curved out and under like a snakes Vera bra and ribs only a tighter curve.

By size and shape it look as if it fit perfectly in the tube, as if transported by or through it.

It suddenly zipped away at great speed and suddenly it and the tube light vanished at the same time.

Blue UFO Follows Witnesses For Two Hours Between South Dakota And St. Paul Minnesota

Date:  September 3, 2014
Time:  2:00 a.m.

We were heading back home from South Dakota to St. Paul, Minnesota. It is 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday 9/3/2014 and have been driving for the last 5 hours. My husband is exhausted and was really trying hard to focus on the road.

We were on a single lane Highway 19, the only car in sight. We just passed Marshall into the next little town. There were lots of lights and billboards that were lit.

From a distance I see this blue glow stick-boxy shape floating in the air to my right. I am staring at it in disbelief, now thinking that it might just be a part of a display or the town lighting.

As it passed me by, it literally was two lamp post off the ground and only about 20 feet to my right. I had a very clear view of this thing. It was shaped like a blue glow stick helicopter, almost toy-like, but more like a stamped out front shape of a helicopter.

It wasn't very big or wide. It seemed to be only the height of our van. There were no sounds as our music was turned down and we were engaged in a conversation.

As it passed us, I was still listening to my husband and trying to figure what that thing was. I didn't say anything to him thinking that he saw it too, as I was pondering really hard.

When it did pass, I asked him if he saw it, he didn't. He just thought it was a color emanating out of some display window. When I looked back, there were no shape, but just the blue glow.

As it got further away, it stopped glowing. It was flashing on and off, not blue, but white. That was literally all that my husband saw. When the light goes off, you can't see anything, but when it comes on it's much brighter than any air plane light I have ever seen.

It continued to hover super low over the horizon. I started to tell him what I saw, but he clearly didn't want me to be scared, so he just said that it was nothing. But in the distance it kept blinking brightly away as my husband started to speed faster.

We thought we lost it, but it reappeared only 5 minutes later in the distance. It was heading away from us, but as we continued it seemed to follow us, but kept its distance.

It followed us for 2 hours straight until we got onto Highway 35E at 4:00 a.m. I was super scared the whole time in case it decided to come back for us since we were the only car in miles and our high beam was on.

I have never seen anything like that before, especially never that close up. It shook me for days and I have been seeking for other encounters like that since. This web page is the only closest to my experience that I have read on.

I wonder if this happens all the time in that area, since it seemed to not be afraid of being seen at all.

Huge Bright Object Disappears Before Hitting The Ground At North Dakota

I saw something like that over the north Dakota sky. At first it looked like a star, but it was so huge. I saw it around midnight January 21, 2008. Then right before it hit the ground it completely disappeared.

Lights In A Triangular Formation Over Bismarck North Dakota

Date: September 29, 2011

Time: Approx: 10:40 p.m.

Shape of Objects: Triangle.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in my backyard just doing some thinking and looking up at the stars pacing and such. While I was looking at the stars I saw out of my peripheral vision a set of 3 dim lights (in a dim whitish yellow color about he same size as average stars) in a triangle form traveling relatively fast and not making any sound, it was silent out. ( Fast in the sense that I judged it at how fast airliners travel at night so about 3x as fast as airliners.)

They stayed in perfect shape the whole time I could see them. The whole thing lasted maybe 8-10 seconds until I could no longer see them. I am not a nut on UFO's. I am not religious mainly in the fact I have to see the science behind things.

I can tell you the only thing that could change my mind that what I saw was not a UFO, is a flight plan of any training exercises from the Air force or something.

Dozen Flying Balls Of Orange Light Over Dickinson North Dakota (Photo)

Date: July 4, 2010

Time: Approx: 10:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Hi, I just saw at least a dozen or so of what I Googled as 'flying balls of light,' because that's the way I'd describe them too. They were flying from the SW to the NE over the Heart River. I saw them as I stood on the deck overlooking the river while up at the sky while watching people's 4th of July fireworks going off around Dickinson, ND tonight, around 10:00 to 11:00pm.

The balls of light were all traveling in the same general direction, all going more or less the same speed. Their speed was fairly steady and somewhat slow, and clearly parallel to the ground, not arced as though they were falling objects, like meteors. But they were fiery, like meteors. I can't imagine what they were. They were too low to be airplanes, and they were all higher than the fireworks. Their lights were also too large, round, orange, and steadily lit to be helicopters- they didn't have any blinking lights with them at all like aircraft would be expected to have.

And, I couldn't hear any noise associated with them, not even those which flew nearly overhead. Even if they were hot air balloons, wouldn't they have sounded like hot air balloons? But they were completely silent. Never the less, hot air balloons seem to be the best explanation of them, although I don't really think that's what they were. Their color was orange, as though the light came from a fire and they were each fairly large and very round. But I think hot air balloon fires come on and off, and I think they're audible.

Anyway, these were all silent, although I could hear aircraft, and see blinking lights from what were clearly planes passing in the far distance.

There were sometimes 3 or 4 of these globes traveling within a fairly small distance of one another, all going in the same direction, but coming from different spots over the horizon of houses and trees= spread out maybe some two miles apart. They came steadily on, minutes apart from one another, for nearly an hour. When I realized there were more coming I went inside and got my camera. Although it was hard holding the camera steady, so their light is pretty squiggly, you can get an idea of the color of them, and the ones that were closer show up pretty bright and large.

In the dark it is hard to find the settings for brightness so it was necessary to basically quit filming to find the settings so I lose the moon momentarily and then when I refocus I began to zoom out and I notice two lights that are dim and have come to the conclusion that they are just two lights in someone's yard that are lined up with each other and are lower and through a opening in the fence.

I am pretty sure this is not a part of the phenomena.

As I zoom back in I notice a flash out there in the view finder. Even though this flash was a little different than all my other experiences it still alarmed me right away because at this time I was convinced or I convinced myself that since I did the praying for the UFO phenomena to go completely away I suddenly felt that maybe UFO's were not completely out of my life, so at this time I immediately recalled the black box like object that came zooming in directly from the east and stopped on a dime and hovered for about two seconds right above my house with me lined up with it at 90 degrees.

So it was exactly straight in front of me just above the treetops and then took off at the same bullet speed straight west!


That is when I came running into the house very upset and started praying.

Also I quit going outside to observe. Didn't mean to get off the subject but just thought it might be helpful to know what was going through my mind at that moment.

So as the camera is still shaking with me struggling with the settings it begins to pick up these lights with two and then three in the form of a triangle which immediately made me suspicious because of all the little coincidences that have involved three's and triangles.

At that moment I realized that by taking my eyes off the view finder and just trying to see them with my own eyes I could not see even one light.

There is a fence in front of me about five feet high so I am standing about 20 feet on this side of the fence with the viewfinder looking over the fence just focusing on the moon.

As I said before there are trees directly in the line with the moon that are all still fully leafed. Even before it shapes into a triangle I guess you can see other smaller lights that match up with the other two lights as if they are coming off the main light.

Anyway it suddenly turns to four lights and other smaller lights seem to morph off the brighter ones if I would have been aware of all the tree branches out there I would of done a better job of keeping it focused on just the one area but being I did not notice that at the time I notice now that when I moved the camera even a little left or right the lights fade out due to the branches. At the time it just appeared to me as if they were going on and off by themselves.

There may have been times that they did do that but it is very hard to be definitive on that! Also to the right you will notice a bright light high with the moon! I have studied that many times and it looks to me as if the first time that light shows up it might be part of the phenomena,but later as the moon is rising and sliding further south the bright light to the right is a street lamp that is a half block over to the south on a hill!

A good example on how the phenomena like to play with your head. Now when it gets to four lights, closely resembling a square they seem to be right below the moon and you begin seeing other smaller lights morph off or just show up in line with them, and when I notice the fourth one light up I was pretty surprised and awed.

At this point I realized I was getting something very strange and bizarre. My excitement level defiantly takes on a new form as I am being awed. They seem to separate from each other or morph so to speak.

I have heard other people talk about morphing on UFO reports so I immediately associated this sighting with a possible UFO event and I was excited because I had come to the conclusion I would never be able to get a actual UFO on tape because for me the UFO's I saw always moved to fast for the camera to even get a chance to focus or I didn't have a camera with me.

Then as the four are sitting there the two on the top right seem to rejoin together as the one in the back comes back into the original one in the front and then it starts to reform in front of it and a little to the left of the original one.

At that point I realize for sure they are not street lights or yard lights and I am getting something very buzzer. At the same time with the two on the left, one suddenly appears in the middle of the two making the event even stranger.

Then the one in the middle suddenly disappears and shows up on top or behind the one on top, which pretty much blows me away at this time.

Also the one on the right bottom seems to be struggling or its morphing capabilities are just taking a little longer or maybe it is suppose to do something different, but can see other little balls sort of melting off of it.

Then as I zoom in a bit more, it turns out to be a string type of thing, the seems pretty long. Then suddenly the one on the left bottom turns out to be two of them, and the one on top left turns into three.

It was pretty hard to absorb as it was all happening fast. At this moment I wanted to have someone else witness this with me, so I turned the camera and moved towards the house to yell for my daughter, and I realized quite fast that she probably wouldn't hear me, either being on the phone, or listening to music, and the windows closed with the air conditioner running.

All of a sudden, they dim out, and I see one on the right that is up high and quite bright and at this moment I think it is part of a phenomena and maybe one of the main ones.

Then they start reappearing closer to the moon looking right behind it. But here it gets confusing because of the tree interference, and I perhaps played with the zoom too much.

They seem to jump around a bit here. Then they start to slip farther down from the moon and again in a different formation, but one cannot tell how many are being blocked out from the trees.

Now at this point you will see a street light as I pan to the right. Then in a different formation, laid out with three of them in an oblong gated V-form, there seems to be a flash above the one on the right, and at the same time there are suddenly two in the middle again and then the electrical impulses start between two of them on the right.

The Intensity magnifies as electrical impulses or lasers are sent in a revolving matter between the two on the right. The one on the bottom right starts to brighten and flare out almost forming two of them, while the one on the top right seems to have its energy drained out.

At this point I just make a sarcastic remark (Star Wars), as I started having fun with the absurd. All of a Sudden there is one the left that almost dims out. But then in the blink of an eye it turns very bright and intense, and with one below that, it seems to go up in smoke or something.

Just very strange indeed. I wanted to reset the camera to super night shot, but I didn't want to risk losing what I was seeing because it always takes time for night-shot to focus.

Then as I try to figure things out I realize the one on the far right that comes into view is a street light a half block over that sits up on top of a hill. Everything east of that is at a lower altitude.

When I moved and tried to find the place I was standing again I was getting a lot of tree interference so I thought I would try to get higher on the deck or roof of my house but was unable to.

About now I pretty much blew my opportunity to get anything and when I tried to find my spot they were just showing up sporadically here and there so I decided to go ahead and put in super-night-shot mode and with that you can see the trees and fence and street light to the right and if you look long enough you will see as I zoom out a little that there is a object or craft right above me.

Some people will say it is a lens flare or light reflection but take a good look at it and you will see how black it is and also the two glass like lit lights right in the front of the craft!

Even when I was filming I did not notice this. I would like to think that was there way of saying good-by to me.

I did pray I would not see UFO'S again and I didn't. The camera did though. As I said I never saw anything with my eyes and that mode was set for focusing in on distant objects. Apparently it did.

So maybe they were saying good-by with a good laugh at my expense. I did have those three cases of sleep paralysis though after I did my praying. That was absolutely terrifying.
