Fast Moving UFO With Orange Light Seen Over Benoni South Africa

Time:  7:00 p.m.

 

Orange light in Benoni area (close to orange lights reported in Kempton Park area)

 

We saw a fast moving object with an orange light (reflection) traveling from south to north at about 19h00 yesterday evening (7th of December 2011). We are also close to ORT International airport, just to the east of it.

The object seemed quite low, below one or two clouds. It had a rounded shape and looked like a discus with the light/reflection in front.

 

The moon was up and it travelled towards the moon, but slightly towards the west of the moon.

 

It took about one or two minutes to pass from about the 10 o'clock position to about the 2 o'clock position before we lost sight of it. We were 5 adults and 3 children that clearly saw the object. 

 

What was striking, is that it was absolutely silent, no noise whatsoever.

 

There are many planes passing over, but you could hear and see them. The object had an orange light at the front and a white light at the bottom. No green or red lights. The lights where not flickering either.

 

I can try the other people that witnessed it to also give description of what they saw.

 

I live in Paarl and was on business in Johannesburg when I witnessed the object.
