UFO Filmed From Clovis New Mexico And Man Threatened After Appearing On The Jeff Rense Show (Picture)
(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Reposted by Mel.
Brian Vike had invited Bruce onto the Jeff Rense radio program, and Bruce was delighted to get a chance to tell his story, but little did we all know that appearing on the radio program was going to have an unknown person (we believe someone from a department in government threatened Bruce and his wife and children. It was not good at all).
This UFO incident took place in 1976 over and around the Cannon Airforce Base which is located a few miles outside of Clovis New Mexico and was witnessed by a student of Journalism.
Bruce, who works for a major media outlet, witnessed the objects, and the jet aircraft that perused them, and who was fortunate to capture one of these objects on film.
A little background on Bruce around the time the incident took place: Bruce was working in the news department at Channel 3, the PBS station in Portales, New Mexico. In addition to working at the PBS station he held a couple of part time jobs with two of the local radio stations as well. At that time money was an issue due to Bruce being a college student. Working at the different media outlets it was giving him the experience he needed for his upcoming career in Journalism. One of the overnight jobs Bruce had was in Clovis, New Mexico at KMTY FM 99.1 which was at that time one of the 100 thousand watt radio stations in the country.
First Night's Encounter With Unknown Objects
On January 21, 1976 Bruce received a call from the radio station manager to see if he would mind working as the station was going to do some performance checks on the transmitter. Bruce would stay out at a remote location where some of the station's equipment was located. This is how Bruce ended up at the right time, and the right place, to see the events that were about to unfold in front of him in the skies above.
A side note to this story is that Bruce was also a storm spotter for West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Bruce was given a small kit which held a pair of binoculars, a note pad and a bunch of telephone numbers that he could call if a storm was spotted coming through the area.
Bruce had spent alot of time at Cannon Airforce Base as he was in the civil air patrol. At that time his senior flight instructor had given him his primary flight lessons. Being on the base, and not in the military, Bruce had become friends with a lot of the base personnel. Since he worked at one of the local radio stations he would play requests that were called in from the base security and night maintenance. He got to know them all very well.
Bruce mentioned that Cannon was located between the University of Portales and Clovis and it was common to see the F-111's and Aardvarks taking off from the base with full afterburners carrying out nighttime flight operations.
Bruce arrived and was sitting in his truck at the location of the transmitter. While waiting for the phone to ring in the transmitter shack he noticed a number of pin-point lights popping up in the sky which appeared to look like light-bulbs on a string. Two of them dropped downward until they reached a lower altitude, stopped and hovered. The lights were seen between his location and the Airforce Base at this time. While watching these strange objects Bruce grabbed the pair of binoculars he had with him.
He describes the two lower lights as the classic saucer shaped craft and they had a bluish glow to them with a red radiant glow on the bottom side of the craft. A small dome shape could easily be seen at the top of each of the two objects. In his estimation he believes the objects may have been at least 30 to 50 in diameter. The two objects were hovering parallel to one another and then started to move off at a slow rate of speed in perfect formation heading towards the airforce base.
Bruce said he followed them with his binoculars for approximately 15 minutes. The objects flew past a number of buildings which were at the edge of the base and they proceeded to climb in altitude as to where they again looked like a small light in the clear night sky. Bruce said it looked as if the lights on, and in, the buildings were dimming due to the objects being in close proximity. Later after talking to base personnel, this proved to be true, the lights had dimmed, and the objects were noticed by the base personnel.
Bruce usually carried a small camera with him but on this day he had not brought it with him.
Bruce called the station as he was excited to talk about what he had just witnessed. Some of the other people at the station had also been watching the events unfold that night. Through Channel 3's connections they heard that the objects were widely seen by many that night and by the state police. An article was written on the objects seen that January.
Second Night's Encounter With Unknown Objects.
The next evening Bruce had gathered together a few people from the newsroom. Since Bruce was staying in a dorm on campus he knew a good number of folks on campus.
He was able to get the keys for the door to the roof so Bruce and his friends could sit up on top of the building's roof to watch the skies just in case something should return. Although a cool night the group stood watching. This time Bruce did bring the camera.
At approximately 12:45 a.m. four objects dropped down from the night sky and started darting around. (This is where Bruce was finally able to capture an image of one of the crafts on black and white film.)
Left Image: Click on the picture for larger view.
As the people observed the objects, the Airforce Base had scrambled the F-111's jet fighters out of Cannon. The jet aircraft began trying to intercept the objects. As the aircraft got close to the vicinity of the unknown objects, the objects, at an incredible rate of speed, would shoot across the sky making 90 degree turns leaving the fighter aircraft trailing way behind as they just weren't able to keep up with the strange craft. As the objects made unusual turns a plasma type glow could clearly be witnessed by the group of people watching the event.
The cat and mouse chase between the objects and jets went on for approximately 45 minutes. Because the witnesses were on one of the tallest buildings in Portales, New Mexico, they could clearly see the flight-line at the Base. One of the men had brought a 150 power telescope which enabled the fellows to see the objects fly at a low altitude over the flight-line. As the objects passed over the lights running down the flight line, all the lights went out.
Eventually the objects shot up and were gone in a second, or so, and the F-111's were recalled back to the Base and landed safely.
Bruce told me that a couple days after the second night sighting of the objects a couple of the Base security personnel had called and explained how the lights went out over the entire base. Of course, Bruce was asking a lot of questions at this point. The security officer from the Base told Bruce that everyone at the Cannon AFB were freaking out as they did not know what these objects were. Also the security officer said that the Cannon base was bringing in new light towers from a SAC base in North Dakota to place on the flight line. The security officer told Bruce to keep an eye on the base as it would be really lit up after the new lighting was installed. A few days later the AFB was lit up brightly. Bruce talked to another military man from the base who said that the base had radar tape of the objects from both nights but certainly did not want Bruce to mention where the information came from.
Because there were others who were there who witnessed the events that took place over the Cannon Airforce Base I will be attempting to contact these witnesses to gather their reports on the event. One other important bit of information to this case is that there is a Freedom Of Information Act document to say that jet aircraft were scrambled out of the Cannon Airforce Base that evening in 1976. Although there has been no explanation as to why, this still gives us a valuable clue that something very unusual took place that night.
Update: After Bruce went public with his story on the Jeff Rense national radio program, he and his family were threatened.
Bruce called me (Brian Vike) on July 20, 2004, after he appeared on the Jeff Rense radio program with me on Friday - July 16, 2004, when he told what he saw over the Cannon Airforce Base back in January 21, 1976. Bruce told me on the air that he had taken a black and white photograph of one of the objects that had been observed out-maneuvering the jet aircraft which were scrambled from the Cannon AFB. On July 20, 2004 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Bruce had a disturbing telephone call from an unknown person and the report on this is below.
Bruce wanted to point out to me that he does carry two cell phones with him at all times. One is for business, etc.. and the other is for personal business to keep in contact with family and close friends. He stated that no one had his private cell number as it was not listed and the only people that had this number were his wife, children, and some close friends. His children are grown up and now living on their own.
Bruce kept his cell phones on the night table. His work phone turned off, but the private phone turned on, just in case one of his children might need to contact him in case of an emergency.
As I mentioned above, it was around 1:30 a.m., Bruce and his wife had turned in for the night and were sound asleep when his cell phone started ringing. Knowing that he had his work cell phone turned off he knew it was a call from one of his children, and of course being a parent, he worried as he grabbed for the phone. Bruce answered with a hello and a voice spoke back saying, "Mr. Bruce (last name). Bruce said there was a very professional sounding gentleman on the other end. The man said he needed to talk to him about a matter of utmost urgency! Bruce still half asleep asked the man who he was, what was this call was all about, especially at this hour of the morning. The fellow said this is about your recent radio appearance and discussion about some photographs that you took back in New Mexico.
At this point in the conversation Bruce said to the man,"you have to be kidding me," thinking this had to be some kind of hoax, asked who was this. The man said there is no need for you to know who I am. He went on to say, "it would be in your best interest to discontinue this line of discussion and do away with those photographs. Destroy them!"
Bruce at this point is in shock about this man. He looks on the cell phone to see what phone number is displayed and it shows "number not available". The man told Bruce that "this is no joke and 'we' feel that this would be in your best interest, and for the sake of your family, that all of this go away."
Bruce told the man that if he wasn't willing to reveal himself then the conversation would be terminated. The man then went on to tell Bruce what his children were involved in, meaning their daily activities, where they lived, etc.., what Bruce's wife was doing, such as personal activities within the family, etc.. and said that he could fax Bruce his life's history within a few seconds. That was it, Bruce hung up and that ended the call with the stranger.
After this incident took place and some weeks had gone by, a neighbor of Bruce's caught up with him outside one day and told him that they had been seeing alot of traffic in and out of Bruce's property. Cars would pull up and stay for a while and then drive off. Other times the cars would pull into the driveway, stop, and men would get out and walk around the home. Then they got back into their cars and drove off. These cars that were coming and going had government license plates on them.
One other interesting fact to this story is that Bruce put together a package for me, Jeff Rense, George Filer and Peter Davenport. In this package there was a copy of the photo he had taken over the AFB. Bruce mailed out the packages to us all and not one of us have received the information. Bruce says he is going to try again and send it through a different means. I hope once I receive the material I can update this story.
So that is where this story stands right now.
Picture Update: As you can see above, finally I received the photo from Bruce of an object/light of some kind, posted above.
I would like to extend my many thanks to Bruce for coming forward with his story. All the interviews are in the Jeff Rense archives. Very powerful interviews.

UFO Close Encounter For Ontario Canada Brothers And Audio Interview

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Reposted by Mel.
Date: Approx: August 29, 1966
Time: Evening
I received a telephone call from a man by the name of Walter. He and his brother ended up having an unforgettable experience in Ontario.
You can listen to Brian Vike interview the eyewitness by following this link on his radio show, “The Vike Report”.
https://www.4shared.com/mp3/rVsbzKip/OntarioBrothersAndMore.html I should mention that in Brian's audio report he mentions, this is Brian Vike, Director of HBCC UFO Research. When Brian first started investigating UFOs he owned and operated HBCC UFO Research. Brian eventually sold the five domain names to his major UFO site and opened up "The Vike Factor".
It was late August of 1966 and Walter said this is one of those haunting things that comes up from ones memory from the distant past. Walter said over the years he and his brother have had some discussion over certain aspects of the event. He also noted that the brothers never talked about the experience to anyone for about two or three years after the event took place. They were quite reticent from openly speaking about it. When the men finally did start talking about it their story came in a fragmented way. Walter mentions that the differences in the brothers story were not actually the event itself, but rather the time sequence. After the two fellows really dove into what took place, Walter's brother was convinced that they were coming to their summer residence and Walter was convinced they were leaving to go home.
Another important note to this is that they wondered if the date of the sighting was correct, but after Walter started checking around finally was able to make contact with the owner of the newspaper for that time period and he was able to recall the event because there were others who were witness to some unusual sightings on that same day. Two reports were made and no explanation was found for what these witnesses reported. Also folks had reported seeing strange sights in the sky north of a small settlement along Highway 71 going from Corona to Fort Francis, Ontario. The government dismissed the apparent phenomena as a large release of incandescent swamp gas, the owner of the newspaper told Walter. Walter of course thought this was pretty amazing swamp gas as it retained an ellipsoidal shape and paced the two brothers vehicle for a long distance as they traveled down the highway, plus it could ascend vertically at a tremendous rate of speed. As Walter said, he had a hard time with the swamp gas explanation!
Walter describes what exactly was witnessed:
There is a tourist camp at Caliper Lake which is located approximately seven to eight kilometers south from Nester Falls in northwestern Ontario. Their vehicle had just passed south of Caliper Lake. In the back seat of their car were the family pets they were taking back home. The men had a large tabby cat by the name of Tiger, and a male bulldog by the name of Eric and last but not least a nile monitor which was kept in a box as the cat and the monitor didn't get along all that well. It is roughly 11:00 p.m. at night, the men heading south and they were passing Larson's Camp and noticed the lights still on at the camp.
There was no other traffic on the highway at this time. Walter is in the passenger's seat and his brother is driving. Walter dozed off briefly and was awakened by his brother jabbing him telling him how bright it had become around the car. The witness said there was an intense bright light which lit up the entire area. Walter said it was so bright that they were able to see way off the road and into the forest. Also he turned around to look out the back window of the vehicle and it was lit up as well. As Walter is looking out the back, he can see the cat is sitting up close to the window very agitated, the dog is on the floor of the car moaning and the nile monitor has it's head out of the box with it's tongue working rapidly. The cat not bothering with it as it was hissing at something else.
Walter turned to his brother and said something had to be over top of the car. The speed at which they were traveling was about 60 miles an hour at that time. Also they had been listening to the radio when it started to get alot of static. As the fellow told me, at that time of night one would be able to pick up a number of radio stations as the reception is much better than during the daytime hours. They instantly tried other radio channels and all they heard from the different channels was static. Both men looking at one another in amazement, with a bright light sitting over top of them, the animals acting up in the car and now losing reception on the radio, they wondered what was going on!
Still traveling along the highway with an intense light above them, they were coming to a second hill, when in front of their vehicle, only about 200 to 400 meters away traveling over top the highway was a huge ellipse of white light. This object in front of them was pacing them and not far off the highway's surface. The men guessed the second object was about 10 to 15 meters off the ground. It seemed that one object was above them and one object was in front of them. Walter told me they were more curious than anything and sped up to see if they were able to catch up to the object in front of them, but as they did, the ellipse of white light stayed pretty much at the same distance away from their car. No matter how fast they drove, there was an equal distance between the object and vehicle.
Brian Vike's, The Vike Factor Note: The distance the event took place in was approximately 25 kilometers. The time everything started was at 11:00 p.m. The men came to an intersection/small community called Finland. They came off the high ground, curved around on the highway and dropped down onto a straight stretch in a low lying area which was about a kilometer in distance. While on the straight stretch the light in front of them ascended vertically at an incredible rate of speed. Walter said if he was to count to four the object had completely vanished from their sight. It went that fast. As the object in front of them disappeared so did the light above the car. Walter said it just winked out. There may have been a split second between the two objects disappearing. The static on the radio cleared and they were able to pick up the radio stations once again.
Another peculiar thing they found was that they were traveling through Finland at about midnight when they realized that it had just taken them about an hour to travel the 25 kilometers. Like Walter said, they didn't travel less than 80 to 90 kilometers an hour. He said there was a hiatus, something happened in that period of time.
What Walter and his brother find puzzling is the time, (an hour to drive the 25 kilometers) that they have no explanation for. Where was the missing time?
Walter saw a friend and told her about what had gone on, and how nothing seemed to make sense. She offered to try a regression session with him to see if he was able to recall anything that took place that evening. He agreed to give this a try as he wanted answers if possible as he said his brother and he have been arguing for years about the absent piece of time and the actual going and coming issue they can't seem to agree on. One brother thought they were on their way home, and the other believes they were traveling in the other direction away from home.
Apparently, through the regression and during this event the brother driving did stop the car. The brothers could not recall this taking place as they always felt they continued traveling the highway and did not stop at any time. Both men after stopping the vehicle got out and walked off to the right side of the road. They stood looking upwards and observed the light that had been above their car move off and hover above the trees close by. Walter recalled seeing what appeared to be portholes along the side of the craft. They apparently stood there for a few minutes watching it. Walter also has been trying to encourage his brother to go through regression in hopes of getting some more parts to the puzzle. So far his brother has been reluctant to go through this procedure. Walter also doesn't recall been taken aboard the craft and it was not brought out in the regression session that this did take place. So another mystery, were the men taken or not ?
The regression took place in 92/93 and The Vike Factor has telephoned the lady who preformed the regression and she told me that indeed the session did take place. Also Walter and the lady told me an audio tape of the session was recorded and we are trying to find this at this time.
I would also like to add that this gentleman who related this story to me, is a very credible man.
My deepest thanks to Walter for coming forward and telling his story. Also the audio clip of his story can be heard on the Jeff Rense radio program (http://www.rense.com/) in hour one - Brian Vike - B.C. UFO Phenomena with special guest Walter on February 18, 2005 in the show's archives. Brian Vike was a regular guest on the Jeff Rense show for years. The way the gentleman goes step by step through the experience is one you do not want to miss.

Former News Director Has An Incredible UFO Experience In Ontario Canada
(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files) Reposted by Mel.
Date: July or August of 1969
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
Vike Factor Note: I thought I would add a quick note here. The gentleman mentions in his letter to me that he was a former news director of CFBV/LD radio in Smithers. The radio station in Smithers is a 45 minute drive from me heading west, and Smithers is located in British Columbia, Canada. I also do short spots on the radio station the man is talking about, giving local updates on UFO sightings for out entire area.
Message: Hi Brian, nice to meet you. First off, I'm a former news director of CFBV/LD radio in Smithers. Additionally, I worked at Endako mines for a few years in the '70's. As you can imagine, I'm quite familiar with Houston, having lived and 'played' in Fraser Lake, Endako, Burns Lake, Telkwa and Smithers for many years in the late 70's and early 80's. Heck, I met my first wife at an Ian Tamblyn concert in '81 at the Endako Community hall!
I live in Peterborough County, Ontario. Ironically, yesterday, I received a post card from an old buddy who's currently vacationing in Australia, he lives in Quick. Remember the Christmas flood of the community of Quick back in '83?
Here is my story. I was born and raised on a 100 acre farm 20 miles east of Peterborough, Ontario. The incident took place in July or August of 1969 when I was sixteen. I was alone in my family's farmhouse located 75 feet from a gravel township road. At that time we had a border collie mutt named Chief, who was an extremely good guard dog, vicious would be an appropriate description.
My father passed away the previous February and Chief had become even more nasty. Lots of people driving on the property would remain in their vehicle until one of us appeared in the driveway to rescue them from the snapping dog. It was approximately ten o'clock in the evening and I was sitting in the living room watching TV with the overhead light on. I noticed a light shining through the closed white drapes covering the south window. I thought, "that's odd. The light's on, if the light was off I could easily see the light's of a vehicle passing the farmhouse, but the light's on and I can't hear a car."
I exited the living room and entered the kitchen. I looked out the aluminum screen door on the south side of the kitchen and saw a light on the other side of some poplar trees glowing about 150 yards from the house on the other side of the road. The light was white and about the size of your thumbnail.
Now this is where it gets interesting. Chief was standing just outside of the screen door, with his butt against the aluminum. He was making the most peculiar, extremely low, guttural growl and every piece of fur on his body was standing straight out, as though he'd been electrocuted. I'd never heard him make such an odd sound. He was scared witless. Normally he'd rush across the yard barking and growling at the human, the squirrel, the skunk, etc. Not this night. The light was moving west to east and the dog's nose followed the light precisely.
Whatever was moving in the sky was definitely the cause for Chief's abject terror. I couldn't open the door to investigate as the dog's rear end was 'bunched' against the door. I yelled at the dog to get out of the way. He wouldn't move. He was frozen.
Finally, after a few seconds of admonishing the dog, I forced the door open which pushed Chief out of the way. His nose never wavered from observing the moving light.
I walked across the yard towards the road and the light which was still slowly moving west/east. It would occasionally disappear behind a poplar and then reappear a second later. There was no sound. I guesstimated the object to be 150 to 200 yards away.
Chief, the nasty guard dog, never left the cement patio on the front of the house, but he continued to observe the thing and kept growling in that most peculiar manner.
Then I realized something very odd. By this time I was standing on the road. Not only was the flying object making no sound, but there were no cricket, tree frog or katydid sounds as well. Brian, what in heaven's name has the ability to silence the amphibians and insects of the forest? I felt a very palpable and rising sense of terror.
I lived in that farmhouse for 18 years. At no time did any of my family members nor I ever 'get the gun' because we were frightened of something. It never happened, well, just once. I ran across the yard, past the dog who was still frozen by the front door and into the woodshed. I grabbed the single shot 22 rifle and the shells. I was so frightened, even today, I can recall my right hand shaking as I fumbled to put a shell in the gun. I can clearly remember thinking, "this is the stupidest thing I've ever done! What good is this 'pop gun' going to do for me against that 'thing' out there across the road? I might as well throw a chunk of gravel against the object."
The next thing I remember I was seated on the couch in the living room with the loaded 22 across my lap. The light was still illuminated and the TV was on. I was calm, cool and collected. My heart rate was normal. The flying object was now located to the east of the house, out over the barnyard and for the next ten to fifteen minutes I kept looking over my shoulder through the south window at the light in the sky. I could barely make out a ring as though the light was the 'diamond' on the edge of the ring.
A couple of minutes into this session, the light changed from solid white to a blinking red light. It became smaller and smaller and blinked faster and faster. From my perspective, it appeared that the object shot out into space. At no time was I worried or concerned about the UFO in the barnyard. I had a lackadaisical attitude towards it and I thought, "big deal, it's just a UFO, why worry about it?"
As I watched TV and occasionally turned to look at it out the south living room window. I want to make something perfectly clear, Brian: The next part of my story is a dream. This did not happen. For all of my adult life I can clearly remember the dream. In my dream, I was standing in the woodshed at my family's old farmhouse, in the night, with the woodshed overhead bulb on and I'm loading the 22. White light suddenly comes through the two windows located on the south and west sides of the woodshed. White light comes from under the woodshed doors from the outside. That's the end of the dream.
Here's the next peculiar part of the story and I have no idea whether it's connected to the UFO incident. I was not suicidal in the summer of '69, I have not been suicidal at any time in my adult life, nor am I suicidal today. I do not suffer from depression. I feel fine, thanks! A few days after seeing the object, I was home alone and cutting the backyard grass.
Suddenly, with no previous suicidal thoughts, I decided to shut off the mower, go to the woodshed, load the 22 and kill myself. I exited the woodshed, with the loaded gun, walked through the house, sat in precisely the same spot on the couch as that night of the UFO visit, with the loaded 22 across my lap. My intention was to shoot myself.
Fortunately, after about 30 seconds of contemplation I came to my senses. I thought, "what the heck am I doing? I'm not suicidal! Get that damn shell out of the gun! Put the gun away! This is ridiculous!" I unloaded the rifle and returned it to the woodshed.
Brian, I have some questions, as you might well imagine.
1) What was that thing flying through the sky, with no sound, in the summer of '69?
2) What has the ability to silence the critters of the forest?
3) Why was my vicious guard dog reduced to a quivering mass of terror?
4) We have all been terrified. There are certain physiological responses to fear. Increased heart rate, adrenalin pumping through your veins, shaking hands, cold sweats etc. etc. How did I retreat from all of those normal responses and return to 'calm, cool and collected' without a calming down period?(by the way, I had no sense of time loss during or after the incident)
5) Is my dream of loading the gun and seeing white light a dream? Or did it actually happen?
6) What was the reason for my suicidal thoughts and actions which occurred out of nowhere a few days after the incident? (I repeat: I'm not suicidal, nor was I when I was sixteen.)
7) During the absurd suicide event, why did I walk to the exact same spot as I ended up after I saw the UFO with the loaded gun across my lap? I guess I'll never have the answers to those questions. By the way Brian, I cannot be hypnotized. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I wish I could be hypnotized, to possibly further explore the events of that night so long ago, but I'm one of those people who are not open to hypnotic suggestion.
Thanks for your time and keep up the good work documenting the observations of peculiar events of people from around the world. No, I'm not a hoaxer! Go ahead, use my name if you wish. I truly don't care what other people think. The above mentioned events really did occur. Art.
Thank you to Art for the extremely interesting report. I will be contacting Art over this experience, also I would like to add Art gave me the OK to use his name.

UFO Hits Okanagan Lake Rises Up And UFOs Battle Over Kelowna British Columbia

(From Brian Vike’s UFO Files)
Two UFOs Battle In The Skies Over Okanagan Lake (Kelowna) British Columbia
Kelowna, B. C. Two UFOs - More Eyewitness To An Amazing Sky Event
Date: July 2, 2007
Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.
Hey Brian, Ok, so like I said I would I've been watching the skies. Not last night but the night before, I saw something out of this world (no pun intended). It was about 10:45 p.m. at night and I saw two object in the sky just hovering.
They weren't doing much, but something new with most sightings, they were different shaped objects. One was thin and longish, and the other was like a triangular shape.
They kept hovering there, so I got up quickly to run and grab my camera but the next thing I know I hear a smallest bang, almost like a gun, and the longish one starts to hurtle towards earth on fire making a deep sound, kind of like a nuclear generator bass kind of sound. I'm thinking to myself what the hell!
I watched the object as it disappeared at low altitude behind a small hill between my neighborhood and the lake. I looked up and
I saw the triangular object make a small circle, come a little lower and then I see it start to hurdle towards the sky at a fast rate, and the long one reappears from behind the hill, there was no more fire, and ascending at break neck speed and when it gets a little higher, I saw it literally shoot something at the other object and then a very loud bang and the triangular one was no longer visible.
The long shaped one started to what looked like it was searching the sky. It was going north, then south, then east and west, very quickly, almost like a hummingbird when it goes side to side.
Then the object disappeared and I suppose it's departure broke the sound barrier immediately because I heard that sonic boom when the barrier is broken.
Anyways, like I said. This seems ludicrous, and after my many years of watching the skies, I finally saw what seemed like two E.T.s duking it out.
The thing I find interesting about this sighting though, is that the objects were not glowing eerily like most UFO sightings refer to.
It makes the sighting almost that much more "real" if you know what I mean.
One of the witnesses did up a graphic of what this unusual UFO event appeared to look like.
Another witnesses report below:
Westbank, British Columbia Two UFOs - One Hits The Lake
Date: July 2, 2007
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.
Brian Vike's Note: This is a very interesting report, and since reports have been coming from the entire area I was wondering if other people who may have been witness to the objects, and sound would you please file a report on the event to Brian Vike.
Message: I don't know what happened last night but It was the most frightening, incredible, and down right terrifying thing I have ever seen!
I was walking my dog along the Beach in Westbank, B.C. and minding my own business at close to 11:00 p.m. on the 2nd of July (yesterday) when I seen this really really, really big bright thingy that looked something like a, well, I don't know, but it didn't fit the usual description of a UFO round type of object.
Above a map of Okanagan Lake and the Kelowna, British Columbia area.
It looked somewhat like a torpedo or something with wings, kind of like a fighter jet, screaming across the sky and downwards on fire.
It crashed into the lake and there was a big splash, almost like a large, large plane. The sound was incredibly, loud and like a deep bass "womp, womp, womp" sound as it came down.
I ducked for cover thinking of a meteor or asteroid or something. I started to freak out and yell and as I was standing up, something came literally shooting back out of the water and I saw it start to hurtle towards a different looking object very high in the sky, which kind of looked like a cone of some sort.
I saw what looked like what you would see in a star wars movie for the bullets from the blaster. It was coming from the object that just was in the lake, and I heard a loud bang that knocked me off my feet.
I looked up to see what the heck was going on and the cone shaped object was gone and the torpedo thing was just hovering. Moving from side to side looking almost confused and then a loud sonic boom and it was gone.
People came running out to me as I screamed loudly and people asked me what happened. What was I going to say, I just saw two UFOs? Not likely. What the heck could have this been?

Mission In Kelowna, British Columbia Another Witness To Strange Object And Loud Sound
Date: July 2, 2007
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.
Brian Vike's Note: By the sounds of things this is another eyewitness for the sighting that took place in and around the Kelowna, B.C. area on the same night. Object seen and a loud sound noted. Also if anyone has any information on this sighting, please do contact Brian Vike - The Vike Factor.
Message: My name is (removed by Brian Vike). I saw something that almost seems like a dream. Last night at about 11:00 p.m. I was watching TV at home (I live in the Mission in Kelowna) and I just happened to catch a bright light through my window.
I didn't think much of it because our neighbors car always shines the lights in our house because of the make up of the drive-way.
I continued to watch TV and I heard an extremely loud bang that scared the hell out of me. I ran to the window and looked around and I happened to catch a glimpse something in the sky hovering and moving side to side. Then I heard another really loud boom and it was gone. I wonder if anyone else has reported this?

Kelowna, British Columbia Cylinder Shaped Craft Entirely Lit Up
Date: July 2, 2007
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.
Hello Mr. Vike. My name is (full name removed). I live on (removed) Rd. Kelowna. On Monday night I was sitting on my front steps talking to my friend on the phone and saw something strange in the sky as well.
This also may confirm the stories that my friend read in Fridays paper. Please feel free to call me at my home so we can discuss this in better detail. Thank you for your time.
Brian Vike telephoned the witness on July 10, 2007 to see what other information I might be able to gather.
The witness told me she had arrived home from a friends place and noticed another friend had left a message for her to call. The lady took her telephone outside as she was returning the call, plus having a cigarette.
As the two friends talked on the phone the witness noticed a long cylinder shaped light. Her first thoughts were that she was just seeing an airplane, as she is close to where the flights fly directly overhead, but the woman went on to say, the object was a little odd looking as it wasn't exactly on the normal flight path. P
lus there were not any of the normal NAV lights on this object.
The entire craft was fully lit up. After approximately 3 or 4 minutes of viewing time it was gone, the witness said it was like someone turned off the light switch. (we are not sure if the craft moved quickly away from it's location, or with the lights out and due to the darkness the object just wasn't visible).
The object was stationary and not a sound was heard coming from it. It also wasn't sitting at a high altitude, lower than a small Cessna would fly at. Rather low she mentioned and there were also no flashing or blinking lights on it at all.
The lady mentioned to her friend on the telephone that possibly she may have just been witness to a UFO sighting. Both kidded around about what was seen and talked for a while longer then hung up.
On July 6, 2007 the witness gets a phone call from the same friend informing her about an newspaper article on UFO sightings that was reported in the local Kelowna newspaper. (Kelowna Capital News). This is when the lady decided to write an email to me asking if I would telephone her.

Large Round Craft Hovers For An Hour Over Okanagan Lake (Kelowna) British Columbia
Brian Vike's - The Vike Factor: A lady must have called the Kelowna Capital News to request my phone number as the witness called me up and explained what it was she witnessed over Okanagan Lake. The lady said she saw the same UFO twice over a weeks time period.
Date: July 2, 2007
Time: 2:00 a.m.
The first sighting of the craft was on Monday June 25, 2007 and again on the evening everyone else witnessed the unusual UFO event, which would have been July 2, 2007.
The witness said she was awake and got up at 2:00 a.m. and watched the craft for approximately one hour. The object was hovering, she said it did not move from it's position over top of the lake.
There were a string of lights that went around the bottom part of the object and as she watched, the bottom lights would fade out and lights at the top of the craft came on, still appearing to circle the object.
Also the top portion of the craft seemed to be lit up. The woman also stated that beams of light would shoot out from the top of the UFO and also from the bottom. Finally after roughly the hour had passed by, the craft shot up quickly and was gone and out of sight.
She reports that not a sound was heard coming from it. The lady lives on lake frontage and had an amazing view of the event. The object was low and again stationary over the water. (not touching the water at anytime)
The witness said it appeared to be looking for something, or that is the impression she got from observing the event.
Thank you to all the eyewitnesses for their reports.

Below is an newspaper article the Kelowna Capital Newspaper ran on this UFO event.
Vike Researches Okanagan UFO 'Shootout'
By Jennifer Smith Staff Reporter Kelownacapnews.com
Did you see an unidentified flying object touch down on Okanagan Lake Monday evening? Well, apparently at least three of your neighbours did and they all managed to track down preeminent B.C. UFO researcher Brian Vike to report the phenomenon.
Late Monday evening Vike started receiving reports of an unidentifiable fireball hovering over the lake. "Everything seemed to look good and usually you can tell if it's a hoax or not," said Vike, who was furiously contacting local media for help by Tuesday morning.
Kelowna has been a hot spot for Vike who operates a UFO research organization, The Vike Factor, out of his home in Houston, B.C. Back in 2003 two women reported an incredible alien encounter on a Kelowna street and it wound up among Vike's biggest cases.
The sighting was featured in a CTV special and even wound up on the Montel Williams show as fodder for a famous psychic. So, when three sightings were reported on the same night this week out of Kelowna, Vike figured it was worth some attention.
The first sighting was by a woman walking her dog in Westbank who noticed a fireball that appeared to dive into the lake and then return to the air. "This thing ended up coming back out of the water and started to hurl toward a different looking object very high in the sky, which is totally bizarre," said Vike.
An excerpt from the email she sent the UFO researcher shows just how upsetting the episode was for the pet owner.
"OK, I don't know what happened last night but it was the most frightening, incredible, and down right terrifying thing I have ever seen," she wrote. "I ducked for cover thinking of a meteor or asteroid or something. I started to freak out and yell and as I was standing up, something came literally shooting back out of the water and I saw it start to hurtle towards a different looking object very high in the sky."
The sighting reportedly occurred at 11 p.m. Vike does not give out the names of those who make reports to protect their privacy but he does go to great lengths to verify their claims.
Earlier this months he was featured on Castanet and is still going through the material he received after the story hit their web site and he is working on several reports he received on Father's Day from Trail, B.C.
Apparently an airborne craft shook residents from their beds in the Kootenay town, prompting a hunt for UFOs on local radio and even in the newspapers, he said. But this week's incident in Kelowna has him unusually excited.
"They saw what appeared to be a Star Wars movie full of bullets and blasters, kind of thing and I've had reports from other areas similar to what they're talking about," he said.
A second report from the Mission area noted the image was accompanied by a sonic boom and yet another report has come in since then.
Local RCMP did not receive any unusual calls Monday night, to the best of the media spokesperson's knowledge. And nothing usual appeared on Navigation Canada's radar. The air traffic control tower at Kelowna International Airport closed just shortly before the sightings occurred.
"I checked with the area control center. Now they only have radar for planes' transponders and so if it was a UFO it didn't have a transponder on. So no, we have no reports of any unusual aircraft in the area," said Ron Singer, Navigation Canada communications.
From this point forward, Vike will be combing his sources, checking with military contacts, police and beyond to see what he can dig out. If anyone can tell him what was going on in Kelowna's skies Monday night, he can be reached at v_factor_paranormal@live.com.
If anyone has witnessed the UFOs/Objects, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.
Vike Factor Note: I do receive sighting reports from everywhere in the world, and I post all of the reports I receive here: http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/

Major UFO Events From Around The World (Brian Vike UFO Files)

I was digging around on Brian Vike’s blog looking for a lot of the major UFO sightings/cases that Brian had received over the years.
With the blogs, I find it very difficult to locate many of these cases. I asked Brian if I could re-post some of these cases as I located them on his Vike Factor, and since I helped him out in the past, he granted me permission to do so.
For new visitors to the Vike Factor who have not read these UFO case files, I am positive that you will find them as fascinating as I did.
Brian Vike did retire back in April 2013.
