Object Seen From Abbotsford British Columbia (Cascade Mountains)

Date: October 16, 2010
Time: 7:31 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Cascade Mountains British Columbia.
Number of Witnesses:
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: "V shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I live in Abbotsford in apartment with a beautiful view over East (Sumas and Cascade Mountains) and Mount Baker. It was more than a week ago in early mourning on 16 Oct, 2010. We woke up early that morning because my husband had planned a trip. It was Saturday, I was not rushing for work. I made my coffee and like usual sat on the sofa with my laptop, red some news, did a bit of work in my own culinary BlogSpot.

The skies above Abbotsford, British Columbia are common pathways for many airplanes and I’ve seen many of those flying over. Somehow the scenery I observed that morning was rather different than the usual.

At some time I’ve lost internet connection, it should have been around 7:26am. I did restart my computer and while waiting for it I looked out of the window. Here is the place I would like to mention that observing the sunrises over Rocky Mountains when the weather is nice is my favorite part of the day. I have many nice photos of those sunrises and my camera is always around.

At this time I noticed something very bright in the sky. The weather was mostly clear with a few clouds. At first I thought, “It is an airplane with contrail segments and the light from rising sun gives its brightness to this reflection”. It was moving very slowly and it was brighter than any other similar reflections.

It looked like approaching, almost hovering at one place. I don’t have binoculars and some times I use my camera’s zoom option to see objects closer. I’ve noticed the “V” shaped form and the slow speed of this object. I took 19 photos until the object “dive” behind the rim. This object did not change it’s shape except it seems like it turns counterclockwise on it’s axis and looked more like a “U” and has a complex trajectory.

Orange Glowing Ball Of Light Over Lewistown Pennsylvania

Date: October 24, 2010
Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Lewistown Pennsylvania.
Number of Witnesses 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Orange glowing ball.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were walking in front of the Buchanan Elementary going westward. When suddenly my friend spotted an orange glowing ball directly above the New Diaper Factory. We watched it for several minutes as it got a little higher and higher into the sky. It began to move over top of us traveling extremely slow.

At first we thought it was a glowing star or sun, however it was neither. I tried various times to record or captures pictures, but the camera quality on my phone was not good enough. None of us ever seen anything like it before. It traveled above us and slowly disappeared northward. The orange glowing ball didn’t get any higher and it was approximately a quarter mile high if I had to guess. It surprised me that no one else had seen it and reported it to the local paper or anything like that..

Time: 7:40 p.m.

Hello Brian, another sighting over the cemetery last night. 19.40 pm. Very clear conditions. No cloud. Two orange lights, fairly high over tops of trees, one following close behind the other. Quickly followed by light aircraft bearing standard navigation lights. Seemed to be following the objects. Is this possible. Regards.

Object With Blue Tint Fell From The Sky Somewhere Over Illinois

Date: October 15, 2010
Time: 12:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Somewhere over Illinois, U.S.
Number of Witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Ball.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mom and I and my two brothers were driving to Illinois to see family. While the boys were asleep, I was listing to music and my mom was driving. I look over (at the same time mom does as well) and see this "ball of glow". It was a blue tint with no tail and it just fell. But it came from the horizon line about only a half mile off the road.

It fell rapidly then it appeared like it never touched the ground, it just vanished. Poof. Our reaction was chilling and my heart sunk with confusion and that's what we saw.

Bright Orange UFO Makes Sudden Change In Direction Over Edmonton Alberta

Date: September 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Edmonton Alberta.
Number of Witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Slightly triangular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On September 25, 2010 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, my husband and I were out in our backyard enjoying an unusually warm and clear evening. We had our binoculars with us and had been looking up star constellations as well as viewing the full moon (Sept 23). After some time, we set the binoculars down and continued to view the skies unaided. Suddenly, at approximately 9:30 pm, an unusual bright orange, pulsating, light appeared out of the southeast and approached our location tracking northeast.

As it continued to near, I scrambled to ascertain what I was looking at and quickly ruled out airplane, helicopter, and meteorite. It was travelling at a speed faster than a plane, but slower than a meteorite and the intensity of the light grew as it neared. I didn't want to appear stupid by saying anything aloud and remember thinking, "What the hell is that?" when my husband standing beside me blurted out those exact words.

Dumbfounded, we continued our viewing. Although it was an extremely clear, cloudless night, the object appeared to have a sort of "mistiness" around the pulsating (not blinking), orange center giving it a slightly triangular shape. We continued to watch as it flew just above the neighboring housetop directly in front of us. It was completely silent which was odd considering that anything flying that low and close, emitting any sound at all would have ordinarily been heard.

We continued to watch until it tracked behind a tree in our backyard. It was at this time that I remembered the binoculars and raced with them in hand to the other side of the tree. Once in the sight of the binoculars, my mind again struggled to understand what I was viewing. It seemed to have some kind of "center" to it, but I couldn't make out what it was. By this time, the object had tracked into the light of the moon and suddenly changed it’s course sharply, veering at a right angle east and away from our vantage point.

A second or two later, it was completely gone. Although my husband and I conflict slightly over the duration of the viewing, we agree that it was likely in a range between 15 and 30 seconds start to finish. One last important point that bears mentioning: from all the subsequent videos I've viewed since our experience, although similar, our encounter differs in that the object appeared much closer, larger and brighter.

Although I cannot speculate with any degree of certainty, what the actual altitude or size of the object might have been, it was, however, much larger and closer than most of the videos I've viewed that usually depict objects off in the distance and high in the sky. For the most part, these videos also lack the extent and detail of the misty halo that was very evident in our encounter. The best analogy I could give for size and location: Hold a quarter at arm's length away, slightly higher than your line of vision.
