Two Bright Orange Lights Over Mirfield West Yorkshire UK

Time: Approx: 8:50 p.m.

Hi Brian, waiting outside my house (south facing) to be picked up at around 8:50pm on Saturday night. Visibility good with a little hazy cloud. Two bright orange lights passed overhead travelling SSW both at same speed and direction. Orange circular lights with no Red/Green navigation lights.

Twinkling slightly which I think was caused by the hazy cloud. Looked at first like small hot air balloons but travelling too fast for that. Disappeared into cloud after approximately 30 seconds. Unable to guesstimate speed or altitude and heard no sound.

Orange And Red Lights Over Village Of Dagnall UK

Time: Approx: 6:10 p.m.

Hi, whilst driving home this evening (1-11-10 at approximately 18:10), through the village of Dagnall west of Dunstable in Beds when I also saw 2 orange (and red) lights off to the east towards Whipsnade. There was a lot of traffic on the road and as such I am sure that many other people must have seen the same thing.

One of the lights seemed perfectly stationary, whilst the other seemed to maneuver slightly up and down. I pulled the car over and tried to take a picture with my mobile phone but to no avail. The objects then moved gradually skyward and seemed to disappear into a patch of cloud.

Very odd. I am a keen aircraft enthusiast and am familiar with the arrival and departure patterns at Luton airport, as well as the navigational lights of aircraft. These were not aeroplanes. Could have been something that someone has made for a prank I suppose, but if so very ingenious.

Dull Green Light With 360 Degree Halo Over Walton On Thames UK

Hi Brian, I also saw a strange light over Walton on Thames at about 21:45 UK time 30-10-10. Walton is directly on the London Heathrow Standard Instrument Departure for runway 09 Right, and most aircraft are fairly low at about 1500 feet climbing to 3000

What I saw was at about 200 feet, travelling at about 50 mph, a dull green orb with a 360 degree halo, the dullness of the light aircraft literally follow the same path you can time your watch by them.

So when you see something unusual in this area it really is unusual, if not extremely dangerous.

Rectangular Almost Cigar Shaped UFO Over Kenora Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking at the stars after getting home from work, when I heard a dull, slow, repetitive swishing/whipping sound. At first I thought it may be a flock of birds flying low over head so I continued looking up, but the sounds continued getting more noticeably louder and quicker.

I was listening and looking directly overhead my house, to where it seemed as though the sound was coming from. As I looked up I noticed a rectangular, almost cigar shaped craft soaring north to south, at a decent paced speed, approximately 500-1000 feet above the ground.

It had no lights on it what so ever, I was able to pick it up easily in the clear black sky, because it had an almost smoky, white shade of color to it. Maybe a reflection of the street lights on the ground. I saw the object for about 6-8 seconds as it soared directly over my house and off over the trees. The dull swishing/whipping sound that accompanied the object was only heard for a 15 seconds. Probably the most frightening moment of my life.

Orange Object Over Skibbereen Co Cork Ireland

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Last night I went out trick or treating with my friends and we finally came to a stop at an estate because they wanted to see there friend. We were playing with there dog when I said to my friend, hey look at that plane out there. I thought it would be a meteoroid and then my friends mother said it couldn't be meteoroid as it was moving too slowly.

I said to them jokingly, maybe it’s a UFO so most of them agreed, but one of them said it’s a Chinese lantern, so we started to have argument. Finally we came to an agreement it was a UFO because it was blindingly orange, plus it was round, but there was one weird thing it kind of span around the bottom was white and the top was orange. Please be kind enough to tell me if you saw something similar.
