Red Lights Looked Like Something Was On Fire In The Sky Over Wantagh New York

Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

 

Hello, last night around 10:15 in Wantagh, New York I saw a red light, just like the one you described. It started out bigger then got smaller, as it got smaller, another one appeared out of nowhere.

 

The first one then vanished, then the second one took the same route then vanished. They looked like big stars that were red.

 

Kind of looked like two airplanes on fire.

 

I made it my Facebook status and people commented on it saying they saw it as well. I was with 4 other girls who saw it also.

Orange Light Over Wantagh Park Southeastern Nassau County New York

 

Date:  December 31, 2011

Time:  Evening.

 

I saw one pretty large orange light that almost looked like a candle flame floating across the sky while I was in Wantagh Park tonight.

 

Me and two of my friends saw it, it didn't seem like a plane at all, since it had no blinking lights like a plane, and it didn't have a flight path.

 

It kind of went up and down. After about 20 seconds it got smaller and disappeared from sight.

Two Orange Lights Observed Over Wantagh New York

 

Date:  December 25, 2011

Time:  11:00 p.m.

 

On December 25, 2011 I saw two orange lights in Wantagh coming from the south. As they passed overhead, two more came traveling at the same speed in the same direction.

 

It was 11:00 p.m. when I saw them, but the other sighting was December 24 at the same time. My two children were with me. I took pictures in my camera phone.

Two Red Lights Seen South Of Wantagh New York

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

 

I saw two lights flying eastward over south of Wantagh. They flew in a irregular pattern, coming closer at times; they disappeared in a couple of minutes. Time about 11:00 p.m.
