Large Orange Ball Of Flame Above Swansea (UK) Harbour/Bay

Date: December 5, 2010
Time: Approx: 4:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Above Swansea (UK) Harbour/Bay.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Large ball of flame.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Walking my dog and spotted large ball of flame orange/Yellow colour was too large for any Chinese Lantern that I've ever seen.

I first thought it was an aircraft on fire as it did not glow like a lantern or hot air balloon, but flames were bellowing out like some sort of airborne oil works flare if was first over the docks then came in land and then headed out across Swansea Bay towards Mumbles climbing rapidly as it did till it diminished into a dot and then gone. The whole thing over in just over a minute.

Weather freezing clear sky just got dark.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

6 - 7 Bright Orange Red Lights Over Pontarddulais Swansea UK

Date: February 25, 2010
Time: 6:50 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Pontarddulais, Swansea.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 6 -7
Shape of Objects: Orb.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: As I was approaching Pontarddulais (Swansea) from Pontlliw earlier this evening, I noticed 2 very bright orange/red lights in the sky. At first, I thought they might be police search helicopters as they didn't seem to be moving. But then I noticed that they were moving, but at a very slow pace in my direction. I stopped the engine of my car to look and to listen as they were about to fly overhead, but to my amazement, there was no sound.

Then, I quickly noticed yet another similar orb of light come from the same direction, followed by another and another - about 7 or 8 in total, but as I tried to follow them to see where they were going, they just seemed to disappear into thin air! Can anyone throw some light (please pardon unintended pun here!) on this for me. I am totally intrigued.

Orange Balls Of Fire Seen Over Two Nights At Clase Swansea UK

Date: February 19 and 20, 2010
Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

I saw one orange light yesterday in the sky about 7:00pm, it looked like a ball of fire and myself and my husband and two teenage children saw another 5 tonight about the same time. They seemed to glow again as if they were on fire and two of them seemed to hover up and down and change speed.

Two seemed to have what looked like a smaller orange cloud falling from them and when the lights stopped looking as if they were on fire, it left a complete grey smoke like blob in the sky, but only for a few seconds. Any ideas what this might be. At the moment my husband is outside trying to see if he can see anymore with his small telescope and the area we spotted the lights was at Clase, Swansea.

Bright Red/Orange Lights Over Swansea Bay UK

Date: February 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Hi, My wife and I have just seen 5 bright orange/red lights over Swansea Bay. First there was one, then 2, then another 3 joined. They remained as a sequence of 5 lights for about 2 minutes and then started fading away. There was no sound in the sky. Astonished.

Small Round Orange Lights Observed Over West Cross Mumbles Swansea UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 12.00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: West Cross, Mumbles Swansea.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: approx: 8
Shape of Objects: Small round orange lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went to look out of the window at the fireworks at 12.00 New Years Eve and not only was there fireworks, but also around 8 orange lights moving across the sky in a perfect straight line all at the same speed, at about the same height it as a helicopter would fly. I called my boyfriend over to look at these strange lights and I said they've got to be some sort of UFO. I tried taking photos of them, but you can see the sky but not the lights!

I've been telling my boyfriend they've got to be some sort of UFOs, but he say's it was probably hang-gliders with lights on! As if they'd fly through fireworks and they were moving in a prefect horizontal line all at the same speed across the sky! I'm just glad I googled and found on your site. I'm not the only one who seen them and would love to know what they were.

6 Orange Lights Over Swansea UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 12:02 a.m.

We live in Swansea and on New Year’s Eve (12:02am) 6 orange lights flew, no, glided over the sky. Our neighbours and everyone in the street saw them. My sister who was in Langland also saw them. How come they were seen at the same time all over Britain?
