Three Green Lights Over Scottsdale Arizona

Time:  Approx: 8:15 p.m.

Saw a cluster of three green lights heading north-northwest in the sky. We were traveling north on Hayden, the lights seemed to be over the 101 or the reservation.

 

The lights were moving fairly fast as after they disappeared I saw aircraft that was moving at about half the speed.

 

Anyway three of us in the car were watching them. The lights the created a plume like tail and were gone. The lights seemed to be losing altitude because after the lights went away we were looking for an explosion.

 

I texted my son to see if there were any sightings. He informed me there was.

Bright Green Object Over Pinnacle Peak And Hayden Scottsdale Arizona

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

 

We live at Pinnacle Peak And Hayden and happened to be standing in our backyard around 8:00 p.m. with another couple sober, I might add when we saw an object move across the sky.

 

It was bright green and shaped somewhat like 2 large geometric figures - angular triangles or something - one inside the other. 

 

It moved forever across the sky. It was very fast but it was there forever and in plain sight  my email is (email address removed) Do you know what it was?  I am sure it was some sort of ship or something.

 

Additional Information:

 

It was New Years Eve around 8:00 p.m. It was amazing to look at.  We all stood in awe. This was no way a meteor. It seemed to go on forever.

Bright Object With Long Bright Green Tail Over Scottsdale Arizona

Time:  Approx: 8:15 p.m.

 

I saw it too, a bright object that had a very long bright green tail (well, not completely green as you could see some traces of yellow in the tail). But I wouldn't say it was moving very slow at the time when I saw it. In fact, it was absolutely blazing across the sky.

 

You see a lot of planes flying over Scottsdale and it's safe to say that this thing, whatever it was, was going at least ten times faster. This was very different than the other thing I saw flying overhead this past summer, a big diamond shaped craft.

 

It was very slow and very close to the ground. Made a lot of noise too.

More Witnesses Watch New Years Eve Green Object Over North Scottsdale Arizona

We experienced the exact same light/glow, at that exact same time, and with identical details in North Scottsdale.  In addition, my family in Peoria witnessed the same sighting.

We had no idea what it was. It was slow moving and seemed to last forever!  It passed our home from the East McDowell's heading North.

Interesting indeed!

Blue Green Light Flew Across The Sky Over Scottsdale Arizona

Time: About 8:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

 

My wife and I and another couple were sitting on our back patio facing north and a blue green light flew across the sky. At first I was thinking it was a firework or something. It was way too fast, big, and flew perfectly straight along the horizon line above the McDowell's or in front of them. 

 

It was flying north towards carefree at about 8:15 - 8:30 p.m. We live around Hayden and Cactus Rd in Scottsdale in case you want to plot all the sightings.

Three Green Balls Of Light In A Triangular Formation Over Scottsdale Arizona

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We saw three green light balls in a triangular formation traveling north, northwest. We watched the lights in the sky when they created a plume (tail) then disappeared. We were looking for an explosion as it seemed they were losing altitude.

I texted my son to see if there were any sightings. The objects were moving faster than any aircraft in the area an were flying over the 101 or the reservation. A the altitude they were at one would think they would have interfered with aircraft landing at Sky Harbor.

Three Green Lights In A Triangular Pattern Over Scottsdale Arizona

Time:  8:15 p.m.

 

We were traveling northbound on Hayden south of Indian School Road when we spotted three green lights in a triangular pattern. The light were traveling in a northwest direction and seem to be about a half mile east of us. 

 

The lights were flying not very high in the sky when they flared up (like the plumes of a flame.) increased speed then vanished. We looked for flames of an impact as it seemed that it (they) were losing altitude. I have read that others saw a single lights east, west and south at the approximate same time.

 

So meteors don't randomly fly around. I am also am intrigued because they are cutting through Sky Harbor airspace.  I will get a photo of the texts to you asap.

 

Everyone else saw a light. We saw three green lights. It was not a meteor as it was in to many places. We watched the grouping for as long as we could, then they flared up (plume like) and vanished. From the sounds of it, and the logistics of the sightings there were several.

Glowing Green Object With Tail Seen Over Scottsdale Arizona

Hi Brian, at about 8:15 p.m. on New Years eve 2011 (yesterday) driving in Scottsdale, AZ we saw the same glowing green object with a tail. I was heading east and spotted this bright glowing light in the sky. I slowed down to watch it because it was so unusual.

 

Apparently many others in AZ saw it too. I am very curious to find out more information. If anyone else saw it too, please share your information.

Object Had Colors Of Green Blue White With A Long Tail Over Scottsdale Arizona (Meteor)

Time:  Approx: 8:10 p.m.

 

Tonight at about 8:10 MT my wife, mother-in-law and I noticed a very bright light north of us. It was traveling east to west, very fast and utterly silent. Traveled downward at about a 15-20 degree angle. 

 

Colors included green and blue/white with a very long white tail.

The sighting lasted about 5 seconds before the light seem to burn out and the light and tail disappeared.
