Orange Lights Over Loughton Essex UK (Picture)

Hi there, I managed to catch this picture last night at about 00:40 am in Loughton, Essex, UK.

Not very clear as it was done on my phone but it hovered for about 30 seconds then changed direction and zoomed off towards the M11 Motorway. So is this really a sign of extra terrestrial life out there or some kind of crazy experiments being carried out by our Governments?

Giant Ball Of Flames Over Loughton In Essex UK (Picture)

Me and 3 others all saw what looked like a giant ball of flames in the sky over Loughton in Essex at 00.45 last night on 01-01-2010. Maybe it was a meteorite maybe not, unless they can suddenly change direction, then I really don't think so and there was no noise what so ever. It was moving to fast to be a firework and we watched it go off into the distance heading south

I think, almost parallel with the M11 motorway, really freaky.
