Hovering Ball Of Light Over Europe

 

Date:  1998

Time:  Evening.

 

I actually saw the same thing back in 1998 in Europe. I saw it when it was about 15-20 meters high. It slowly came down to about 3 meters from the ground and was just hovering.

 

I was interested in it and came close to about just 4 or 5 meters away from it, but then when I was close enough, it just disappeared.

 

I thought it could be a lightning ball (Ball Lightning), but I never heard of one behaving this way and for so long (my sighting lasted for about 15 minutes)

 

It was about 25-30cm in diameter and had all details you listed above.

Huge Black Triangular Seen Over Romania E. Europe

 

Date:  2005

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

 

I have seen the same triangular-shaped object with dim green lights near the edges hovering silently on an autumn night sky in a small village in Romania, E. Europe, back in 2005.

 

The time was about 8:45 p.m., and I was (a strange coincidence) also smoking my cigarette and out in the front yard after a day's hard work.

 

I usually look up at the stars and sky when I am outside in the evening, and I saw this sight. I had the same "lost time" sensation while it floated silently over my head and went floating like a huge black triangular feather in the westward direction.

 

The whole sighting lasted for less than 40 seconds or so. I was the only witness. My wife who was inside our cottage and was on the Internet told me she saw the lights flicker in her room at about the same time I saw the object.

 

She believed me, but no one else did.

Two Very Bright Yellow Lights Over Estonia Northern Europe (Re Post With Picture And Map)

Hi, I'm writing in the light of this article http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2011/01/3-bright-white-yellow-lights-hovering.html. Tonight I saw two very bright yellow lights low in the sky. Since I live near the coastal line and the forest was in-between us, I tend to believe the objects (one slightly higher) were over sea.

Now, I've seen planes, helicopters, signal-lights and satellites, but this sighting was too stable for a pyrotechnical unit and didn't have any strobes.

I got some bad photos too, if you want. My parents and older brother also witnessed the sight which occurred from 19:30 to 19:50.

I live in Estonia which is in Northern Europe. Kind regards.

4 Reddish Colored Lights Over Western Slovakia (Central Europe)

Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Hello, we have (me, my farther, mom and nephew) seen similar sighting on 26 December 2010 as described by many here. But we live in western Slovakia (Central Europe). We saw about 4 of them at around 9:00pm of our: Central European Time.
Coming from west (where Jupiter was visibly located) to south (Sirius position), sky was clear to easily identify Jupiter and Sirius.

Color similar as described here: of sodium streetlights though just slightly more reddish. Launching from the same spot (first 2 around same time, then one by one) from around Jupiter location, having almost direct axis trajectory and coming to position of Sirius where they stopped and vanished (moved a peak).
